*****After just under a year of daily use, we had a wheel stop rotating properly causing an error code. I contacted Eufy customer via email and received a response by the following morning. They asked me to send a quick video of the problem I was having and a picture of the serial number which I did. The following day they graciously apologized for the wheel failure and promptly shipped me a possibly refurbished unit that arrived in a few days. Looked Brand New! And did not ask for the old unit to be returned. If that was not great enough, they contacted me again a few weeks later to check if I was having any other problems and that the new unit was working properly*****
Now for the Eufy Review:
First the Eufy itself is an excellent product. I was weary about purchasing a robovac of any kind due to all the mixed reviews. However, when Eufy came along at an amazing price point, I was ready to take the plunge.
We have wood floors and tile throughout our home and a few area carpets and door mats at each entry. We have 2 dogs, a cat and a parrot who throws seeds everywhere. The Eufy has no trouble navigating itself on and off the mats and carpets while picking up a lot of fur and seed shells.
When you first start using a robovac, there will be a learning curve regarding some items or furniture in your home that can trap or hang up a vac. After a little shuffling and blocking of trouble areas, it will operate for a couple of hours with no hang ups.
Amazing battery life. Still vacuumed for close to 2 hours one year after daily use.
Whenever this baby sucks up its last pet fur, we are sure to purchase a new Eufy again!

+Came charged and ready to run!
+Very simple to use and setup. Quick start user guide had him set up and cleaning almost immediately
+Random algorithm works great for our house!
+Harry found his way all over the place in one cycle.
+He cleaned under the couches, entertainment unit, consoles and other furniture. Was able to navigate under our table and chairs.
+In one hour all of the dust was gone! He had cleaned the kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom!
+Didn't get caught up on our low rise carpets and navigated around our thick shag rug on his own.
+Remote is handy, when he gets stuck you can steer him with the remote, if he can't find the station you can steer him closer.
+You can schedule cleanings so that it tidies up when your out or at home
+Quiet running.
So far no negatives. I am thrilled with it so far. In our first hour he picked up a scary amount of hair and dust from places that are hard for me to reach. Will update this review if anything changes, but so far we are happy to have this little guy running around our house doing our chores for us.

Pros: Eufy is quieter and lighter than Roomba. It has a brush on each side and a bigger debris bin. Eufy is also less expensive than Roomba. The single brush roller is easier to clean than the two Roombas brush and roller.
Cons: Stops every time at the top of stairs rather than backing up and turning around like Roomba. It got tangled in simple cords (that were somewhat tucked away) that Roomba has gone around for two years, and it got hung up in the door slider track. It also got stuck under a recliner, as the EUFY is lower/shorter/thinner than roomba. It then got stuck under the bed between the legs and wall, somehow, and stuck in a corner with no explanation. It would not go over a dark brown bath mat, which Roomba does without a problem, and gets more confused than Roomba on rugs with some black designs. It also does NOT come with a sensor to keep it from going into unwanted spaces....and it does not work with the Roomba sensor.
Did not try the remote as I returned the item within two days. Sad. I really wanted to like this item. It is very sleek and pretty.

Our house has two cats, two kids age six and under, and not enough time for cleaning. Generally our floors got vacuumed and swept once a week on the weekend. During the rest of the week, the grime would build up. You know the feeling when you're walking barefoot and feel crumbs and debris sticking to your feet with every step? That was us by the end of the week. Sweeping and vacuuming were just not a priority on those weeknights when it's all you can do after work to get the kids fed, bathed, and bedtime-storied, let alone having a few minutes with your spouse to relax.
The difference after getting the RoboVac has been night and day. The floors are *not* spotless, but they are 99% cleaner than they would normally have been at this time in the week. When I say not spotless that is to point out expectations - this vacuum gets most (90%?) of what's on our floors, but it's not perfect. Crumbs get missed, as do random tufts of cat fur. I am completely fine with this, because since this thing takes zero effort to run, we run it every day, so odds are if something was missed one day it's picked up the next. I am constantly amazed at how much debris is collected when we just ran it 24 hours ago.
This vacuum is *not* as smart as competing models, but it's not dumb either. When I say not smart I mean there is no mapping, no memory of your floorpan, so there is no guarantee that every square inch will be hit. But when I say it's not dumb I mean it does have a collection of clever algorithms that become apparent if you watch it. For example, it has an "edge" algorithm where it will ride the edge of a wall to clean the corner. It has some kind of "chair leg" algorithm that lets it navigate the forest of chair and table legs in our dining room and come out just fine. It has a "find home" algorithm which has worked flawlessly for us.
In terms of the quality of cleaning, it cleans the hard floors just as well (better?) than if I had swept them manually. It gets into corners that I wouldn't normally reach, and gets under things that I would never get under. For carpet, it does an adequate job but does not replace our dedicated stand up vacuum for pet hair - we have a long hair cat whose hair gets matted in the carpet, and this requires occasional manual attention. But for picking up surface debris on the carpet the RoboVac does just fine.
I read a lot of reviews before buying and I think whether you will have a good or bad experience depends mostly on 1) expectations, and 2) your environment. For expectations, if you expect this thing to replace manually vacuuming 100% you will be disappointed. If you expect it to do a decent job take the pressure off daily sweeping, you will be happy. For your environment - the first few times we ran it, it became obvious where it would get stuck. We were able to make changes (stick a piece of wood under the cabinet where it was wedging itself, for example) and now it doesn't get stuck. I imagine if you have a problem spot where you can't prevent the vac from getting stuck that would be frustrating.
Finally, there is a little bit of a "stone soup" thing going on. Previously we didn't always bother picking up all the kids toys, because they'll just get pulled out again the next day. With the RoboVac we pick up the floor every night so that we can run the vac. Does the vac pick up the toys and put them away? Of course not. But having the vac motivates us to do it. So having the vac has yielded not only cleaner floors but a more tidy house.
In short I love how this thing works, so everything else will be durability and longevity.

-----------------------------------
We ended up putting boards around the Lazyboy to fix the Eufy from getting stuck.
Another update is that the Eufy does not consistently start or not start when the remote is programmed as such, resulting in the Eufy running when I didn't schedule it to and at other times running at a different time then it is programmed. Not a big deal. I power cycle the remote and the Eufy and that seems to help.
Anker already reached out about the original review and was kind to offer help (though it was not necessary).
I appreciate that Anker has solid customer service and great products.
-----------------------------------------
I purchased the Eufy RoboVac 11+ (High Suction).
Pros:
First I will say that I LOVE this little vacuum cleaner. It does a good job of picking up pet hair and dirt on my laminate and vinyl floors in my smallish 870 sqft townhome.
Picks up an incredible amount of pet hair, dust bunnies, and dirt around the house and is able to navigate around table and chair legs really well.
Cons:
The noise level is indeed noticeable (apparently due to the extra powerful motor), but is quieter than a typical vacuum and does not seem to bother my dog. I have just learned not to use it at night as it is loud enough to be annoying when trying to sleep even with a white noise machine on in the bedroom.
I can also be annoying that it tends to get stuck easily on low furniture or cords. I placed wood boards in front of places where cords dangle on the ground (under our entertainment center and an end table used for our small fish tank) and used Command clear hooks running above the baseboards to hold the charging base cord off of the ground as well (see photo).
However, Eufy still get's stuck on my Lazyboy recliner as it wants to crawl up onto the base and then gets stuck at an angle. A part of the problem seems to be the tight space between the recliner and our loveseat. I have not clue how to fix this short of buying another chair or building a "board enclosure" around the base, which really would be silly to look at and have to be moved when the chair is in use. I have moved furniture further apart, which seems to help, but now our living and dining room space is too crowded.
I am open to suggestions from what others have done.

Pros:
- Quiet. After a few minutes I forgot it was there.
- Strong Suction. Picks up everything (including a few cat toys I didn't realize were under the recliner).
- Easy to use. You don't need a college degree to work it. It is as simple as setting up a coffee maker.
- Zero assembly required
- Large capacity bin. I only need to empty it every 2-3 days. (mileage may vary depending on how much stuff falls on your floor)
- Navigates rough terrain, missing floor tile, place carpets with ease.
Cons:
- The vacuum pattern on automatic is less than ideal. It often goes over the same spot multiple times (Though to be fair, the unit can be set to spiral out or edge the room, but not in auto mode)
- Gets stuck under the edge of counters (the unit is taller than others I have seen).
- Has trouble navigating dining chars. Can get itself under them, but then can't figure out how to get out.
- Cannot navigate a 1.5" transition (which is no problem, I didn't expect it to. I have a 1.5" transition between the foyer and living room that it gets stuck on. I had to put a 2x4 there to prevent it from trying. Will probably build a tiny ramp to allow it to move freely between the rooms)
Edit 9/27/2018. Had to take a couple stars off. This product does not have the longevity that you would expect for the price. I have had this for 8 months and it is starting to not work correctly. It now gets easily stuck on things that it used to have no issues with (such as slightly non-level floor areas, 1" floor transitions, power cords...). I always had this set to do its cycle around 3AM. It has been over a month since it successfully made it back to its charging station. Every day I find it stuck under a kitchen cabinet section, or stuck on the TV power cord or just randomly stopped for no apparent reason. There are also now sections of floor that it refuses to go over for some reason. It just turns direction when it hits those areas. I have done a full cleaning of the product and replaced the brushes, but it did not make a difference. The motors also started to get much louder than they used to be (Maybe cheap bearings).
My mother has an Electrolux vacuum from 1968 that is still running. I would expect that a new robovac would at least last a year.
Overall I am VERY satisfied with this. It was exponentially better than I expected for the price.

Our biggest issues are these.
When we schedule it for auto clean every day, the remote sucks down batteries every week and a half, at which point, Eufy will stop responding to manual commands from the remote. It appears the remote is still working - Eufy responds to the start button, but after that, it will not respond to the home button or navigation buttons until the remote batteries are replaced. The issue seems to be resolved if we take it off a scheduled clean mode - remote batteries then last much longer.
We also occasionally have issues with Eufy making it back to the charger. We noticed this when it was on a scheduled clean when we were out of the house. I then observed Eufy a few times while I was home, and it was frustrating to watch. As soon as the battery ran low, and Eufy was ready to navigate back to the charger, it wandered aimlessly, in all the wrong directions for 30 minutes and then died one foot away from the charger. I realized, all the times I thought Eufy did a great job cleaning my carpet because of all the little track lines it left on the rug, It may have left those tracks while wandering aimlessly for the charger and not actually sucking anything. I'm not sure why Eufy finds the charger some times, and not other times.
Overall, we like Eufy. Our floors are much cleaner these days. It also forces us to straighten up the house almost daily when we run the vacuum so it doesn't get stuck on all the toys on our floor. It is both gross and exciting to empty the bin after each run to see what has been picked up.

I have owned both this and the it's predecessor, the 11 (my first robovac love). Team Eufy has definitely made some improvements on this model. It is far better at object detection, has a better filter, a bigger collection bin, and has been far more durable than the previous model. It lacks all of the bells and whistles of the iRobot vacuums, but you really don't need all of that - it cleans my 700sq ft apartment every day and I have to empty the collection bin every third day. It works that well! It really is amazing how much dirt and dust it picks up every single day.
The only thing I could complain about is that they have moved the spinners from the previous model more towards the front of the vacuum. This makes it more prone to getting stuck on stray wires. Me and my fiance have just gotten into the habit of making sure all wires are put away every day - no big deal!
When you make the wise decision to get this vacuum, just a heads up - it is important to pop off the spinners every 2-3 weeks (if you have long-haired people around) to remove the hairs that get caught. Also, the brushes on the spinners get bent in the direction they spin, so when you pop them off to clean them, just swap the left one with the right one so they spin the other direction and will straighten-out. This makes a difference in vacuum performance.

Buy a different unit.
We got this vacuum for Christmas as we were looking for one but had a hard time spending $500 for one of the well known brands. We we got it and started reading more about it I had seen comments about the bad service and not getting help.
Batteries were not available or filters or parts. I got real concerned and I almost return the item. But after getting into a chat session with Eufy. I realize that the service levels actually were quite amazing. They were very helpful and provided to me all the information that I need it and responded to me in a very quick fashion. They also provided me an option if I wasn’t happy to return the item for a full refund no questions asked. So I opened it up put it together and set it off on his pace. It did an amazing job. We have a 3000 square-foot first floor house in the Eufy was able to clean all of it. The vacuum ran for over two hours. And never died. It got to the point where I had cleaned the entire house nearly twice so I picked it up and put back on its station. It does not have the ability to find it station in a larger house sometimes when the battery is low But once it’s done cleaning if you push the home button while it has a charge it will eventually make its way back. You can go over carpet, tile, wood. The amount that it picks up in dirt is almost freakishly scary.
We love it....it’s never going away.
it’s part of our family.
update. 2/15/2018 Our Rosie was having a few issues and we contacted Eufy/Ankar about her to see what we could do since she was acting a little od. They responded ASAP and quickly sent me a shipping label and just sent me a new robot... no questions asked and at their expense. Their customer services is amazing! I used Chat and Email to communicate with them.

SPOILER ALERT: THE EUFY IS GREAT!!! WE WISH WE HAD PURCHASED ONE SOONER!
We love how easy the Eufy RoboVac 11+ was to set up and use. It automatically runs every day and the floors are noticeably cleaner with a daily once over. No more long hairs everywhere! It is so quiet, that we can even talk on the phone while the RoboVac is running in the room. It does get hung up in a few spots, where door thresholds are too high or baseboard molding around a corner is a challenge, so we simply put a box there to block the area, and all is worry-free. Cords must be tied up and out of the way, but now vacuuming under all of the beds and along the wall behind the sofa is a breeze. For furniture the RoboVac was getting stuck under, we simply put some heavy felt pads underneath to raise the height of the gap until the RoboVac fit.
We've had it for a few months now and can highly recommend this device for anyone with a lot of hard-surfaced floors. My friend since bought one on my recommendation and happily reports it performs quite well on low pile carpet, too. This little vacuum is a very worthwhile purchase. Why waste your time vacuuming? It's liberating to have the extra time to spend doing more enjoyable things! Don't hesitate to get one to keep your floors immaculately clean. I kick myself for waiting so long and am ready to toss out my industrial vacuum cleaner that's taking up so much space in the closet. (Good riddance, Kirby). Get one and spend more time having fun!

Pros:
Very good suction ability
Quiet
Navigates around objects somewhat decently
Able to clean nearly three rooms
Ability to schedule
Cons:
Gets stuck. (all of these models so)
No wifi / alexa ability
No error code notification
On my third day, I realized I bought the version that did not have wifi. At that moment, I seriously considering returning this device. Thats right. Only for few voice commands I'd be able to use with my main Alexa. However, the overall vacuum ability is really nice. The more I let it run, the most I loved it. Let me tell the whole story. I had to let it run while I watched the first time. So that I could see it in action. After getting in idea of what might cause problems, I had to move things around a bit. Nothing major. Just to keep it from going into areas that might have wires or just sections in the kitchen that will allow it to get stuck.
Let's talk getting stuck. I've done a lot of researching on these devices and they all get stuck. The best thing we can do as owners is to search out those risks and remove them. Its still a work in progress but worth it. Another thing I've encountered is coming how to it being off in some odd location. Its usually because something is jammed in the wheel. So far its shut off because of trapped plastic, string, and a frozen french fry(where it find that?).
So with all that said, I can recommend this device. Coming from someone who is huge on having a smart home, the fact that I haven't returned this just for that capability says a lot. Now, I have noticed a lot of reviews on here about the device having problems after the first month up to six. I'll update as needed.

Battery life is still decent on original battery. Only replaced the 'sweepers' on the front once, and will be replacing the roller brush underneath soon.
Only notes - being a bumper only model, it does seem to leave a lot of scuffs on furniture. Would be nice if the bumper had an integrated soft pad all the way around it. Would also recommend some sort of removable attachments that could be set for height to prevent unit from getting stuck under things.
That aside, has been doing great work for 2 years.

Years ago, we had a Roomba. It was excellent. Easy to program, cleaned well, and no issues with it "getting lost" throughout the house. Unfortunately, our infant son decided it would also make a fun ride. Spoiler alert: the Roomba is not functional when used as recreation equipment! We recently decided we should buy a new automated vacuum. Consumer Reports had a great rating on this Eufy item and it was much less expensive than the Roomba, so we gave it a shot. We were appropriately rewarded for being cheap.
If it were possible to give zero stars, that's how I would rate this piece of garbage. 1st issue: there is no way to set it for specific days, only recurring times. 2nd issue: functionality. We have 2 rooms that it needs to clean (with no doorways to navigate, only furniture). Each time it runs, it does so until the batteries die. We have run it more than 20 times and it has NEVER returned to its base. 3rd issue: dust bin capacity. If you have more than a thimble full of dirt on the floor, the bin will require changing.
Conclusion: although we are able to set it to clean at the same time every day, this will never actually happen because the piece of garbage is completely unable to find its charging base, even in a large open area. If it does miraculously find its way home, it will have filled the dust bin, so now you will need to remember to empty it EVERY NIGHT because of the daily scheduling. After complaints re: its inability to get back to the base, the seller sent me a new base. While I do greatly appreciate that, the robot only returned to that new base once. It is utterly useless. Also, Consumer Reports is apparently inept at rating automated vacuums.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

**UPDATE** After about a year, I would lower my rating on this model. It now won't go back home and find it's base ever.. unless I put batteries in the remote and manually press the home button - then it finds it immediately - but it won't do it when its cleaning in the middle of the night. Also it has left black grease on my carpet twice now which takes me over 30 minutes to clean up. I contacted the company and they offered to send me the newest model for free - which they did. I am very impressed with their support and the new model has been working wonderfully.

Makes life so much easier, you should definitely invest in one if your on the fence because it is super convenient to have it clean while your on your couch watching netflix, and don't tell me you wouldn't mind a machine cleaning your house while you're watching Stranger Things!

The first few days Eufy had to be stopped and cleaned out at least 4 times a cycle as she went under beds and furniture that I was obviously not getting under well enough. There were two chairs and an ottoman that she seemed to be able to go under but then got stuck. On day 4 I was almost ready to give up and return her (Eufy). I was emailing with the company and they were wonderful, supportive and ready for me to return her to them. Then I put new felt pieces on the legs of the chairs and ottoman which gave her all the extra room she needed. By running everyday she didn’t need to be cleaned out more than once during a cycle. I set her to come on at 7am which is when the dogs and I rise. I go about my morning tasks and getting ready for work and just listen to her humming along. She runs about 2 hours most days and has found her way to her charger by the time I leave for work. My floors are so much cleaner and I no longer fear that giant dust bunnies are going to come floating across the floors when I have company.
I highly endorse her and she is a keeper. But like my title you have to give her a chance.

You can certainly buy it and when it works, it’s great but eventually it will break. And you will get hosed out of $200.
(I sent them a video for this last bad one. They viewed it and sent an email back saying there was a problem with the wheel.....again. Again.) Ugh.

Cons:
-The dock station is in our open formal dining room and sometimes the vacuum gets stuck under the table due to all the table and and chair legs. However, I like that I can manually steer it out. I foresee this becoming more of an issue if we use the scheduling feature for it run when we aren’t home.
-It is hard for me to open it to empty the dirt/dust. My husband can do it but I haven’t figured out the trick yet.
-The corners in my kitchen are left with lots of crumbs that have to be vacuumed up with our old vacuum.
-It will go over our kitchen memory foam rugs but doesn’t pick up anything stuck to them. Therefore i would imagine this wouldn’t be ideal if you have a pet that sheds. Our dog doesn’t shed so I’m not positive.
Pros:
-not too loud, I run it while cleaning up after dinner and watching tv.
-It isn’t confused by different flooring. My sister has a much more expensive robot vacuum that gets confused moving between her hardwoods and rugs.
- It has only run out of battery once and it returned itself to the dock before it died.
- It gets stuck but the manual control steering allows me to get it unstuck or just direct it to a particularly dirty area.
- It gets under furniture that is too heavy for me to move regularly to vacuum (tv stand, dining room buffet, couches if I tuck up the slipcover). Great for allergies!
I am happy with my purchase and recommend the Eufy if you want a lower priced robot vacuum. It doesn’t map your house like more expensive products so you need to expect it to sometimes get stuck. Overall I am happy and my floor stays much cleaner than when I was vacuuming weekly. This full time working mom and Dad have one less chore to do on weekends now!
