Un mastodonte pour du gaming à haut refresh rate !
Une chose est sûre, ce processeur et bien l'un des piliers du gaming en 2019.
Avec une base clock de 3.6Ghz et une turbo clock à 4.6Ghz (un seul coeur), ce processeur fait extrêmement bien le taff, titillant les i9-9900K et autres... (en jeu)
Mais, ne vous méprenez pas ! Je parle bien ici de performances de gaming pures et non de performances de workstation car, pour cela, les Ryzens d'AMD sont bien meilleurs. En rapport qualité/prix également. Veuillez compter + ou - 250 à 300€ pour une plateforme AMD alors que chez Intel, on est plus sur du 350 à 500€ (pour de l'overclocking en chipset Z390) et tout ça simplement pour le processeur, la méthode de refroidissement et la carte mère.
Ce processeur est très bon. Ayant des performances similaires à un i7-8700K une fois OC à 5Ghz, il est le gros bonnet à abattre du côté d'AMD. Pour ma part, avec un Core Voltage de 1.38V, je l'ai OC à 5Ghz sur tous les cœurs remontant mon score Cinebench R15 de 1032 (4.3Ghz) à 1243 (5Ghz) & R20 de 2657 (4.3Ghz) à 3030 (5Ghz).
Il n'y a pas à dire, une fois une bonne solution de refroidissement installée ainsi que des connaissances en overclock, on peut facilement atteindre de bonnes performances avec un processeur qui, je le rappelle, ne vaut que 205€ (je l'ai eu pour 270€).
Pour conclure je dirais que, pour une solution efficace en terme de performances en jeu pures et en terme de performances de légère workstation, je conseille vivement ce processeur !

The perfect cpu
I am running this CPU in my new gaming system that I have built over the past few days and for the price point this is an absolute steal. For solely gaming and other general computing tasks this thing is a winner and blows all Ryzen chips out the park. You can easily overclock this card to 5GHz on all cores if you have adequate cooling. I am running a Noctua NH D14 which you can also pick up for about £60 on amazon and these two work very well together. My temperatures don't exceed 60 degrees Celsius even at full load at 5GHz. Idle temperatures are around 25 degrees Celsius.
For you people reading this review that aren't really into overclocking and you are asking yourself is this still a good CPU at stock? Yes it definitely is. The single core performance on this card at stock is better than any other i5 or Ryzen chip and this is still a fantastic gaming CPU with no over clocks.
This listing only had around 8 reviews when I purchased my processor but I can assure that for anyone on the fence about purchasing from this seller everything went absolutely fine and my processor works perfectly.
For you people reading this review that aren't really into overclocking and you are asking yourself is this still a good CPU at stock? Yes it definitely is. The single core performance on this card at stock is better than any other i5 or Ryzen chip and this is still a fantastic gaming CPU with no over clocks.

Incredible CPU and Best Seller
The stock speed of this processor is 3.7GHz, the all core turbo boost frequency is 4.3GHz but single core max turbo frequency is 4.6GHz.
I did some overclocking, and from my experience, the CPU is running well at 4.870GHz (all core speed). You can see in my attached image, this configuration outperforms the i7-7700K by 20% more.
This is a reasonable processor since I'm cooling it with a 120mm radiator. The processor usually runs at 44-degree Celcius. After an hour of stress testing, it is constantly running at 80-degree Celsius.
This processor does not include the usual Intel air cooler, you need to purchase one.
The seller is also a good seller on Amazon. The delivery is good, the package is sealed and the product is genuine. Before confirming the order, the seller contacted me and asked about my experience is system assembling and once I gave them the assurance that I can build a system and I know the hardware then only they shipped it.

una bomba
pagato 301 euro comprato per uso gaming e devo dire rispetto al vecchio i5 6600 un bel passo avanti di circa 20fps rispetto a prima.
Prima di comprarlo ho visto svariati banch in game e appena ho visto che tiene testa a un i7 8700k (in game) l ho subito preso visto i 150 euro di differenza tra i due.
che dire sono contentissimo delle prestazioni l ho associato a una mobo
asus z390
ram 32gb ddr4 trident 3200
gpu asus rog oc 1080ti
gioco con un monitor 21\9 3440x1440 tengo una media di 75-80fps negli ultimi giochi (shadow tomb raider) ovviamente tutto in ultra.
conclusione:
5 stelle meritate per uso gaming è la migliore cpu qualità\prezzo.
come ho detto tiene testa a un i7 8770k (3-4 fps di differenza)
lo consiglio per un upgrade.
ma se si possiede già in i5 serie 8 è molto simile quindi non consiglio upgrade.

Plenty of punch
Wow, this proccessor makes everything go so fast, not done all the cpu benchmarking stuff, suffice to say it goes like stink. I purchased it for video and photo editing. Bought it from 'global store' which meant it came from amazon in the USA, although it took a bit longer to be delivered it was worth the wait as I reckon I saved quite a bit on the equivalent UK purchase price.

Dead easy to OC, great is you have s/w which can use 6 cores
Using this in an Asus Prime Z370 II mobo and very happy with the result. It only needed a couple of mouse clicks and running at 4.8Ghz on all cores. Render times on Adobe Premiere are pretty decent, lighting up all 6 cores.
I'm using a tower cooler which is coping with the heat from 6 cores running at 4.8Ghz.
Probably the best value for money Intel CPU right now.

I've installed this CPU with CORSAIRS 100i AIO liquid CPU coolant.
As a consequence of this CPU cooler, this CPU runs PERMANENTLY at 4.4 GHz, it automatically turbo boosting itself (stock overclocking) beyond the base frequency of 3.7 GHz.
The result is a stupendously, ridiculously fast processor, way beyond the requirement for even the most demanding of games.
Stupid to spend any more money on a processor.

Solid CPU all round. Very good for gaming.
Really great CPU overall. Bought this to replace a i5 6600k so it was a relatively big upgrade. Was about 35-40% increase in performance on standard clock but this chip overclocked pretty easily. Got it running at 5Ghz on all cores at 1.372V, doesn’t ever touch above 80*C unless running harsh AVX stress tests such as Prime 95. All other stress tests sit ~75*C which I’m happy with. Gaming it normally sits around 65*C. (This CPU is paired with a Corsair H110i-GT cooler, 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM, and a MSI z390a-pro gaming).
The gaming performance is really good in this chip, like really good. There is only a ~5% difference between the 9600k,9700k and 9900k according to a lot of benchmarks. So for the price point this CPU is superior to its competitors. AMD can’t compete at this price point for gaming performance - they’ll suffer a 10-15% loss compared to the i5 due to their lower single-core performance; especially when overclocked. I play most newer games at 1080p max settings and get around 60FPS. For some games such as Overwatch I get a solid 150FPS (this is capped for my monitor). This is paired with a GTX 1070 btw, and these two components don’t bottleneck each other at all.

Es un buen procesador en lineas generales. Comparado con un i7 8700 la vedad es que este merece la pena para unas cosas frente al otro, por ejemplo jugar. Este i5 cuando se trata de fuerza bruta, rinde mejor que el i7 8700, de muestra ser potente en operaciones ofimáticas y videojuegos donde comparado con el i7 no se nota absolutamente nada de mejora por parte del i7 respecto al i5.
De calor no anda mal, cuando está en uso se calienta, pero cuando está en idle la temperatura es muy buena, siempre que lo ventiles con una buen disipador y unos ventiladores decentes, en mi caso un Noctua NHD14.
Si embargo para trabajos multitarea si se le nota flojo, con máquinas virtuales el rendimiento es muy malo y con programas de edición de vídeo se defiende pero el i7 le gana.
Así que si quieres jugar cómodamente o usar el ordenador para multimedia y ofimática no te gastes el dinero en un i7 e invierte esa diferencia en más memoria RAM por ejemplo, o un SSD.

LA BESTIA fatta cpu
cosa bisogna dire che gli appassionati di pc gia' non sanno ...sul tubo ci sono svariati benchmark e comparazioni anche con i7 della scorsa generazione...e nei giochi e' alla pari (con costi inferiori anche di 100,00 e passa euro) quando addirittura li supera...si puo' tranquillamente fare OC estremo a patto di avere un buon dissipatore di calore (meglio a liquido) in idle non mi supera i 25--28 gradi (monto un Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB ) ancora non ho neanche sentito il bisogno di fare overclok gira una meraviglia ...e' un cavallo da corsa e allo stesso tempo un mulo da soma CONSIGLIATISSIMO PER USO GAMING senza compromessi....

Enough for gaming build.
Went for this 9600k. My last build housed a Skylake i7 6700k. For gaming this is slightly better than my older processor. Delivered on time. Sealed box. Perfect.

Best CPU in this price range
This CPU is a beast. With overclocking (which this is designed for) I am running 4.5GHz on all 6 cores with adequate cooling. You won't match this with any other CPU in this price range. Perfect for <£1000 builds. Nothing negative to say about this little guy.

purchased as Condition: Used - Like New - Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged.
CPU had been drowned in thermal paste, not only that it was baked on haveing to use AKASA cpu/heatsink cleaner to soften it.
Someone has either tried thier first build and messed up or they ran a CPU full pelt with too much paste then when they had an issue done a switcharoo with amazon.
Either way not happy at all not even putting this on my mobo. Buying new.
As a note the lid was clear untill I gave it a wipe and the stuff just wont stop comeing off. Almost looks like its goten under the lid....

LGA1151のクーラーのネジピッチはLGA1150、1155と変わらないそうです

Utilizzato nella mia ultima configurazione credo sia un processore davvero prestante supera il mio precedente i7-7700k e anche se di pochissimo il i5-8700k montato su asrock z370 anche se credo che tra i due i5 prenderei il meno costoso perché notare le differenze e' davvero davvero arduo. 6 core fisici 6 threads 14 nm diciamo che tutti voi conoscete gia le caratteristiche generali prezzo leggermente alto ma il periodo non e' favorevole per i processori. Consiglio sopratutto a chi come me gioca molto e fa poco editing

Bang for the buck CPU
This is most definitely the best CPU for the price range. I just finished My first PC build and had a budget of £1000 and picked this up instead of the i7 9700k. Don’t get me wrong, that cpu is very powerful however the i5 is definitely the best for budget builds. The cpu stays cool due to my aio water cooler (which is also an amazing cooler) the performance is also amazing (paired with my msi RTX 2060. I get around 200+ FPS on high settings on most games and atleast 400* FPS on low settings. Overall I Would 100% recommend picking up this cpu for either your first build or a mid range build.
