Corsair Vengeance DDR4-2666MHz SODIMM
G.Skill Ripjaws series DDR4-2666MHz SODIMM
Wish i would have known this before purchase, so now i have a great memory upgrade i cannot use and i am out the money i paid for it

Msi GL Series GL73 9RCX-030 17.3" 60 Hz Intel Core i5 9th Gen 9300h Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 8 GB Memory 256 GB NVMe SSD Windows 10 Home
I initially tried to upgrade the ram by just adding a second 8GB DIMM ( an identical sky hynix 2666 8gb) from a seller on amazon, but when the stick would not boot, I had to send it back and upgrade both DIMMs. These HyperX Impact 2X8gb 2666ghz CL15 sticks work fine. They were recommended somewhere as very good and fast. Lower end 2X8GB sticks would have been fine for me, but whatever.... they were amazon warehouse returns at $63+tx, so I'm happy (same price as the cheaper 2666Ghz 2X8gb kits). Now I have 16gb at 2666ghz and CL15. perfect. The stock 8GB would have worked, but sometimes it gets close to being all used up and it has to pagefile I believe...
A great upgrade for $63. Now I just have to sell this stock stick somehow.

You can upgrade it. You just need to take apart the whole iMac.
There's a lot of great videos that show how to change the ram on a 2017 21.5" iMac so you should watch that first to see what you're going to get yourself into.
Just finished installing on my computer and it recognizes both sticks at full 2400Mhz.
Note, these are CL 14 while the stock ram on iMac is CL 17 so if you MIX those two types, computer will not utilize the full potential of these faster ram.
Also, keep in mind that the MAX ram for this iMac is 32gb.
Last advice, since you're inside the iMac changing out the ram, consider changing the hard drive to SSD if your computer is using the 1TB 5400rpm disk hard drive.
Game changer.
Boot time went from 2+ minutes to less than 20 seconds and all programs run instantly.
No more spinning color wheel when opening something trivial like system preferences!!!
(I used Samsung 800 EVO 500gb 2.5in Sata 3 internal SSD)

I don't play games or edit videos. I just surf the net on a web browser and that is pretty much it. But having 4GB (you'd think that would be TONS of RAM to work with) made the computer almost completely unusable! The mouse would freeze, apps would become unresponsive, a keypress in a simple text editor would take ten to 30 seconds to show up on the screen. The stupid thing has a 2.7GHz quad core processor and it takes 30 seconds to display a single character on the screen?!
But anyway, now I have a computer that works like it should. So I'll shutup now...

This 32GB kit (2 stick of 16GB DDR4 that came in a sealed single package, HX426S15IB2K2/32) worked exactly as described on the Acer SF315-52-51NV, the highest CL that CPU-Z shows for CAS# Latency is 14 (playing 3 YouTube videos on 4k res. at the same time).
High speed 2666 under JEDEC and Intel XMP, low latency (the lowest one i could find by the time i ordered).
Plug and play, the first time i botted with the new memory installed last like about 5 or 7 more seconds that looked like eternity, after that everything is just as easy and smooth as dream.
It came with a fancy sticker with he HyperX logo on it, i didn't put it on the laptop because i think is too big (around 3.57cm x 2.5cm).
Warranty, came with a document that overally describe how to install a memory and a lifetime warranty limited to replacement or refund of the price paid.
About the seller: MemoryC
They ship the order very fast with USPS. The memory arrived in a bubbled and sealed envelope with the original invoice inside, so i can claim the warranty in the future if is necessary.

As far as ease of install - that totally depends on the device you're upgrading. The HP EliteBook 8570 has a slide-off cover that makes it a breeze but YMMV. I put one of these into a Dell Latitude E5540 and that required removing a few screws. I hear some systems are even more complicated and if that's your case, you have my pity.

I decided to return both modules rather than spend more time testing individually as the laptop is traveling a lot; accessing the factory DIMMS requires removal of the system board, which on this laptop, is dealing with 20 screws, 10 system board connectors, and an hour of time. [Accessing the "user-accessible" memory slots requires 1 screw, removing one panel, and less time than it took to write this sentence.]
The factory 4Gx2 runs and tests perfectly. I just wanted 16GB (preferably 24GB keeping the original 8GB) because I like to enable Samsung's "Rapid Mode" which takes 2GB right off the top at boot and the SO seems to know how to open - but not close - Firefox tabs. :-)
Also noted in the Memtest results was the following: "RAM may be vulnerable to high frequency row hammer bit flips." Per Memtest's Troubleshooting, "This warning appears when errors are detected during the first pass (maximum hammer rate) but no errors are detected during the second pass (lower hammer rate)." So this is very unlikely to be real problem, but may indicate an older chip design and felt it would be worth noting.
