2017 iMac user be careful.
For people who are going to buy these RAMs to upgrade 2017 5k iMac, don't mix Kingston RAMs with Apple original RAMs, Apple original RAMs are cl17, but Kingston RAMs are cl14. It will make all memory speed down to 2133MHz.

Original RAMs are 2 x 4GB, Kingston RAMs are 2 x 16GB, not sure about other cases.

Also original RAMs were in dimm0 slots, I added Kingston RAMs in dimm 1 slots, iMac couldn't boot.
Then swapped original RAMs to dimm1 slots, Kingston RAMs to dimm0 slots, iMac could boot successfully.

Hope this review helps.

3200Mhz 2x16gb (32gb) does not work in Alienware 17R4 with K i7 cpu
Kingston Technology HyperX Impact 32GB 3200MHz DDR4 CL20 SODIMM - didn't work in my top of the range Alienware 17R4, even with the HK cpu. All recognised in BIOS but had no end of windows errors and could not get into windows at all. Tried to reinstall windows 10, but could not get past all the BSOD errors... Such a shame. I guess the Alienware does not support 3200MHz ram. Supports 2666MHz though as thats what mine came with...

Synology ds218+
Works in Synology DS218+ after installed 2 x 4 GB of the HX318LS11IB/4. I used 2 sticks b/c I figured the different latencies wouldn't work well (Synolgoy is CL13, HyperX is CL 11) -- another reviewer got "no joy" with just one stick. Per Intel the max the CPU can recognize is 8Gb and that is why I choose 2 of these sticks (to match). There is a good Youtube video about pulling the DS218+ apart. Oh, removing the 2Gb Synology stick voids your warranty sooooo there is that risk. I am creating my volume as I type. Should I discover anything unusual, like the memory defaults to a lower frequency -- I'll follow up. (I'm new to this but eventually I'll figure out how to check the ram via the command prompt.)

Undiscovered *WIN*
I bought my PC over a year ago, it came with 16 gigs of RAM. That should be enough, right. I've used the memory scans from some manufacturers websites and the results say 16 gigs is the limit. Though I could move up to 2666Mhz. Just for kicks and giggles I used the computer manufacturers site to do a complete system scan to check for any potential issues. The results said that my motherboard was good up to 32-gigs. Many tests said 16 max, HP said 32 max, so I took a gamble and decided to order a 16 strip for a total of 24-gigs. Normally I'm a Corsair reliant, this time, I went with HyperX.

The moment of truth came when I went to the Amazon Locker, got my package and went home. The worst thing that can happen is I go through the trouble of removing the bottom cover of my laptop, install, reassemble and it doesn't work. Good thing Amazon has a good return policy.

After easily, and painstakingly removing the bottom, then replacing one of the 8-gig strips with the new 16-gig, I snapped the bottom on just to do a startup and hope for the best. The first thirty seconds or so, I didn't see anything but the power light come on. Then the screen lit up and the normal cold boot proceeded.

I let everything boot up, drivers load, and went into my system profile. What do you know, the HP scan was right. It saw 24-gigs, and 24 of that was usable. But it doesn't stop there. Since the upgraded RAM was a success, I can't have Hyper-X on one side working alongside the Value Ram that came with the machine. Onto Amazon I go and immediately ordered the same thing in an 8-gig. I know it's more proper to have two of the same size working together. But 24 is sufficient enough for me to notice a lot more *pep* in my performance. One day, I'll get another 16-gig to even it out. Maybe even go for the 2666. But for now, I'm happy with the improvements it's done on my once-thought non-upgradeable PC.

I would deduct one star, not because of the memory itself, but for the ease of installation. Memory is a snap to install these days. But cracking open an HP by removing the bottom is a delicate task if you don't have the right tools (which I do) and don't want to leave any markings on the outside of the machine. It's not Kingston's fault I have a "pressed together" machine, so I'll leave it at 5. The short: I took a gamble, and hit a small jackpot with the results.

Bonus: It comes with a nice quality sticker. I'm a dude, and dude's WILL apply a free sticker somewhere. Whether it be on the lid of their laptop, or under the lid to our toolboxes. Mine looked good on the lid to my machine with the black-on-red mods I've done to it's aesthetics.

Works with Macbook Pro Early 2011 17 inch
Works with Macbook Pro Early 2011 17 inch. Memory works well. Upgraded my Mac to the actual (not advertised) limitation of 16GB (official Apple documentation states maximum is 8GB, which is not true). Further, this is the 1600 speed, which is faster than the 1333 that came with the Mac originally, and it works just fine.

This upgrade, along with an SSD, will make a significant performance increase in my Macbook, allowing another 2-3 years of useful service life (and make OS X upgrades more palatable with the extra memory).

Jan 31 2015 Update: Over 2 months installed, still working fine, not a single hiccup. Very satisfied with this choice for Macbook memory. I have since upgraded from OS X Lion to Mountain Lion (10.8), still no issues with the memory or the SSD at all (Samsung Evo 840 1TB).

Great upgrade
32GB of RAM is probably FAR more than I'll ever need for gaming, but since I finally splurged on a gaming rig, even if it was a middle-of-the-road model, I wanted to have every possible thing supped up. The RAM was the last thing to cross off that list after SSD storage and boot drives.
The biggest issue with upgrading my RAM was one of compatibility. Not a lot of information existed for my particular model of computer, the new Dell G7 7590 (the 2019 edition). As this RAM uses XMP profiles, not every motherboard supports it. Also not helping matters was the fact that XMP options aren't listed in my system's BIOS (as far as I can tell), so theoretically it could work, but a lot of the information that did exist skewed toward it not working.
Thus, buying this was an expensive experiment. Before I get any further, I'll give my reasons for buying this particular RAM: it's made by Kingston, the manufacturer of the stock RAM that came with my computer (Dell uses RAM from many manufacturers, I think, so yours might differ) and I wanted it to be an upgrade in more than just capacity. That CAS latency of 15 looked pretty good to me (improvement from CL19).
Results: plug and play. Worked like a charm. My computer booted fine and recognized the increased capacity at the max bandwidth allowed by system (2667MHz). Screenshots provided from CPU-Z for reference. (note: I am running BIOS version 1.6, I don't know if this will work in the stock BIOS which I think is either 1.3 or 1.3.1)
Verdict: great upgrade and confirmed by this guy to work in a G7 7590. No issues to report as of yet, but I don't expect any.

Awesome ram for a great price!
Awesome ram! It worked for my Dell Inspiron 11 inch 2 in 1 :) It shows as 7.89 GB of ram (117 MB reserved for graphics) When I got the ram I simply unscrewed the bottom screws placed the new ram stick in and turned it on after I put it all back together and it turned on just like normal. I havent seen much of a speed increase but I am able to open more tabs in my browser and have more things open at the same time without it slowing down! I am giving this ram 5 stars because it worked just like its suppose to. Should you upgrade the ram in your laptop? Well that depends, if you have 2 GB of ram I would suggest upgrading because Windows 7 and Windows 8 takes about 1 GB of ram up to 1.5 GB of ram alone. Thats not even counting the programs you want to use. If you have 4 GB of ram I would suggest you dont upgrade unless your using things like photoshop or you like having 20 different webpages open or you just want to make your machine more future proof (Like me lol). I hope this review helped some people if you have any questions or you just want to simply leave a comment please feel free to do so :)

A disappointing experience with technical support
They sent the product, new, sealed with warranty. And, it didn't work when I loaded Windows 10 pro, 64 bit. After few searches, and discussions over MS community, it felt like the memory is the culprit. But, their representative on Amazon, did not agree, argued unreasonably over technicality like processor generation and all that. And, it took me 2 long weeks to do all sorts of testing.
At last I figured out, prepared the documents and evidence why it is faulty. Got in touch with support ANZ.
Provided them BIOS report, cpuz scan report, showing the memory installed on my system and running. Crucial scan reports on my system, memtest86 test run fail, and Windows 10 crashes, the specs of my processor and motherboard.
And, their response was again a nightmare to digest.
Still I thought, in a complex technical situation, it is possible to judge errors. So, I requested their technical team, to allow me to come over to test their memory if they have doubts, provide me a replacement to check my computer problems -
And, they are so surprisingly adamant, unbelievable.
After seeing all the technicalities, they joined the same slogan their representative on amazon sang, without any thoughts and study.
"My computer is not compatible."
They are behind a specsheet from Acer, that is not applicable and they don't even allow me to cross check.
I have requested a warranty claim, and waiting for their mercy.
Not only this, I am in Sydney, and as per warranty terms, I can ship to authorized dealers here for claim or replacement. But when I requested, they are asking me to ship to Amazon or I need to ship to Taiwan, their headquarters!

Great for an Intel NUC
Works wonderfully in my Intel NUC D54250WYK1, which requires DDR3L 1.35V Volt RAM.
Having two sticks gives me Dual Channel of memory, which is important given the CPU shares this memory pool with the GPU as well.

I had some 1.5V laptop RAM laying around, and the NUC wouldn't POST with them.
So I ordered these, and they did the trick. Didn't have to configure anything, as it POSTed with 1600MHz CL9.

Worked with Synology DS218+
Bought this ram because other users stated it worked with some of the other Synology models. Worked perfectly out of the box and DSM is showing the upgrade. Buying another 4GB to make it 8GB total. Synology states a 6GB limitation but the OS is saying otherwise. Take a look at the screenshot, "Maximum Capacity: 16GB"!

FYI - In order to show the Ram info you have to SSH into the unit and run the following command "dmidecode --type memory". This also confirms that it is running at 1866mhz, not 1600mhz like others have stated.

Good luck all!

Works in Lenovo T480
I got this for my Lenovo T480. The product works well in that computer. If you end up installing it there, keep in mind the first time it boots up after this upgrade, it will take about 20 seconds for the screen to light up with BIOS messages (first boot after ram amount changes forces a full RAM POST instead of the usual quick one). After that it will not have this delay.

Almost got ripped off. Make sure to match the serial!
I purchased the 32GB 3200MHz and shipping was super quick. I get my laptop all disassembled and ready to go for the new RAM, when low and behold, I discover that the memory I received was the 2400MHz model. Further, it is almost impossible to detect until you've already put everything back together. There is no distinction on the actual card other than the warranty sticker with the serial number. It should begin with "HX4##", the pound being the MHz. If you purchased the 32GB, the serial will begin with HX432 and the 24 will read HX424. I issued an exchange and am curious to see if they make the same mistake when I receive the correct product on Saturday.

Edit: No problems with the replacement so far, updated the rating to reflect. Will install and test it and come back if needed.

Works well in 2019 Razer Blade 15 w/ RTX 2080 Max-Q
I wanted to upgrade the two stock 8GB 2666MHz sticks in my Razer Blade 15, so I did some research and ended up here. After some initial hiccups, my computer now runs much better than before. Normal tasks feel snappier, and as someone who indulges in Chrome tabs, the extra memory really helps speed up my system. I was also surprised to find that I had some SLIGHT improvements in a couple games. By far the most improvement I have seen is in CS:GO where I am getting an additional 60+ FPS (although most games don't see anywhere close to this). I purchased the 3200MHz option, but I probably would have been better off with the 2933MHz option since my computer seems to only run it at that speed.

When installing the new RAM, I had no problems with the hardware side of things. However, I had some issues with the software. My laptop ran extremely slow, and I had several issues where it would crash or just have a black screen. However after selecting the SECOND XMP profile (the Default and first did not work), my laptop has been running fine with no known issues. I am fairly confident with computers, so for me, it wasn't a big deal. But if you plan on giving this to someone who isn't, I would recommend helping them through the install process.

OK for Apple Mac mini
I purchased the HX316LS9IBK2/16 kit. I can confirm it works in the Apple Mac mini 2012 2.6 GHz i7 Quad Core model and the 2011 2.0GHz i7 Quad Core Server. It is recognised on both as 1600MHz. I ran a few benchmark runs on Nova Bench and it brings up approx results of 8500 MB/s on the 2.6GHz and around 7400 MB/s on the 2.0GHz. I compared this to running 16GB of Corsair Vengeance (CMSX16GX3M2A1600C10) on the same Macs. Unfortunately Nova Bench results flucuate around 300-400 MB/s on results with each test so it is hard to give an exact result (unless I repeat it 50 times and take and average) but I would have to say that the Vengeance only beat the Hyper X 2 times over 8 goes. Generally the Vengeance was 100 MB/s or so slightly lower than the Hyper X. They are very rough guesstimates though. Having said that I have used my Vengeance chips for over two years now and they have been bullet proof. I would recommend either, but just wanted to try the Hyper X because it is over 2 years down the track in technology.

Great upgrade for any laptop.
I recently purchased a new laptop, a lenovo G70, that came with only 4gb or ram. It was cheaper to upgrade the ram by purchasing the ram separately and just installing it rather then trying to find a laptop with the ram i wanted. This is very high quality ram and was exactly what i needed. This is very plug and play. My laptop required ddr3l and all i did was install it alongside my original ram that came with my laptop and rebooted my laptop and it was detected and has been working great. This is a great upgrade.

***Just a note. I am sure that if you install this you need to be running a 64bit version of windows. If you are running only 32 bit only 4 gb of ram will show up in windows. This is not a problem with newer laptops as most of them already run the 64bt version of windows.

Pretty decent RAM
I ordered this for my HP 14-bs0xx laptop as I do video conversions quite often. Originally, the laptop had 8 GB RAM and could be maxed out at 16 so I ordered this RAM being familiar with the Kingston brand. Although I had never had any experience with the Hyperx series. The RAM came in a clear blister pack and included a Hyperx sticker. Installation was pretty straight forward. How easy this RAM is to install depends on your laptop. Mine was pretty straight forward. Remove the screws, separate the bottom shell. Push the two release arms and take out the old RAM and replace it with the new. Test boot picked the RAM up straight away. Reassembled the laptop and ran some tests to see if all was well and it was. I then converted a video and as suspected, it worked much quicker. I would recommend this RAM to anyone needing more memory and a little better performance than standard RAM.

Worked on Acer Aspire ES1-732-P2NM
The Acer Aspire ES1-732-P2NM has only one slot with Max capacity of 8 Gb. What that laptop didn't have is Branded RAM. According to CPU-Z, the RAM that was included in this laptop had latency CL11, the Kingston is CL9. Both of them are 1.35V. The bottom of line this Kingston module worked on this laptop, regardless that Kingston web site didn't have my Laptop model in compatibility list and Amazon compatibility tool didn't confirm exact match neither. CPU-Z shows now DDR3 12800, Kingston, 8 Gb, CL9, dual channel (doesn't make any sense, since laptop has only one memory slot)
Windows 10 boot up in my opinion a bit faster. So, it works so far. Hopefully the Kingston name will keep up with its reputation. That was the reason I replaced non branded 8Gb SODIMM to Kingston.

BTW, the label on module I received says: made in Taiwan

Worked with my Lenovo Z50 **CAUTION PLEASE READ**
This worked with my Lenovo Z50 laptop to upgrad from 8gb to 16gb total RAM. BUT HAVE CAUTION. READ THESE STEPS AND FOLLOW EXACTLY. I didn't follow right the first time and I have to reinstall my apps (my data was saved).

Preface: I work with computers for a living, but they're workstation severs and usually Linux. I didn't follow the exact instructions and windows boot manager crashed and I had to restore my system files. Here are the steps (See user manual at link at bottom):

To install DDR3 SDRAM, do the following:
1 Touch a metal table or a grounded metal object to reduce any static
electricity in your body, which could damage the DDR3 SDRAM. Do not
touch the contact edge of the DDR3 SDRAM. **Very important**
2 Turn off the computer. Disconnect the AC power adapter and all cables
from the computer. ** wait untill two power lights on front edge of laptop by trackpad are out.
3 Close the computer display and turn the computer over.
4 Remove the battery pack.
5 Remove the Optical drive/Hard disk drive/Memory/Central processing
unit/Mini PCI Express Card slot compartment cover.
Notes:
• Use only the memory types supported by your computer. If you incorrectly install optional
memory, or install an unsupported memory type, a warning beep will sound when you try
to start the computer.
• Select models of the computer may have only one memory slot. Refer to the actual product.
However, the procedure for replacing the memory is the same as listed below.
6 Remove the DDR3 SDRAM by pressing out on the latches on both edges
of the socket at the same time. Be sure to save the old DDR3 SDRAM for
future use.
7 Align the notch of the DDR3 SDRAM with the protrusion of the socket
and gently insert the DDR3 SDRAM into the socket at a 30-45° angle.
8 Push the DDR3 SDRAM inward toward the socket until the latches on
both edges of the socket are pushed into the closed position.
9 After aligning the attachment clips with their matching gaps, reinstall the
compartment cover.
0 Reinstall and tighten the screws.
A Reinstall the battery pack.
B Turn the computer over again.

**make sure to boot into bios to check that they're properly installed**

boot into bios with the "novo button" (small circular button by power plug)

Cheers

Did *not* work in my Intel NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK
These Kingston HX424S14IBK2/32 did not work in my Intel NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK Mini PC. I know that they work for some people, but not for me. I tried them one at a time and swapped them and tried different slots. They are not on the Intel compatible list. If you go to the Kingston web site, they are not listed for this application. This is as of early November, 2016. An 8 GB CENTON SODIMM worked fine, so I know the NUC is working. I give 5 stars because I like Kingston and cannot fault them if these don't work for me with the NUC6i7KYK. I returned the Kingston HX424S14IBK2/32 for a refund. This was with NUC BIOS version 0037, released 03JUN2016 - I don't know if the newer BIOS would have worked, since I'd already returned the HX424S14IBK2/32.

Just DO it... IF it's appropriate for your system and workload.
This 16GB upgrade from stock memory (8GB) in a 2014 Lenovo Flex 2 15 was helpful for the normal tasks required of this laptop. System use partitioning shows a lightened load on percent of memory used, obviously. The computer does seem to run slightly warmer with the auto-overclocked RAM, but I have not performed any tests to confirm this. Swap-out and boot-up for the system upon changing the DIMM units was automatic, no problems whatsoever. I did use a hifi grounding element (as always) for touching fingers and screwdrivers prior to each contact in disassembly/reassembly, and I'm also careful in handling the hardware to avoid oily prints on all points for electric contact and heat dissipation (really, don't be negligent here). I think 8GB of memory is still perfectly sufficient for many dated systems like the one I'm using: take care that the processor is decent enough not to become a significant bottleneck for your chosen task(s) before investing in auto-overclocking RAM, because you may well save $10-30+ on DIMM upgrade units of equal capacity but less "glamorous" peekaboo features than this HyperX model. I didn't compare other auto-overclocking models (e.g. Crucial, Corsair), so can't comment on whether the roughly $10 higher price on HyperX from the next-most-similar model makes any noteworthy difference.

Rated for 2666 MHz, but runs at 3200 MHz!!
I'm going to comment on something that I noticed with this DDR4 SODIMM, but please do not take this as the word of the manufacturer. This is just my own experience with the RAM module and it is not a promise that it will be the same with yours.

Before having this module installed, I had a different kit that was 3200 MHz. I had to manually set it in BIOS to 3200 MHz because XMP profile ws not available on that other module. Anyway, after installing this, I booted into Windows and was surprised to see that this one also runs at 3200 MHz with a CAS latency of 20. I didn’t change anything in the BIOS while swapping the RAM, so the old profile of 3200 MHz was passed on to this one.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it runs a 3200 MHz, because on the listing here it says that it is rated only for 2666 MHz. Rarely do I buy a piece of technology only to find out later that it works even better than the rated spec. This was a nice surprise.

I ran a few memory tests, and they all passed. No issues, no errors. Just perfect.

Again, I cannot promise that your experience will be the same. I am just sharing how it worked out for me.

Easy to install RAM. Make sure to grab thermal paste to ensure proper temps after installing.
I currently have an MSI GT70 2PC Dominator and wanted to upgrade my RAM from 8gb to 24gb. My laptop is just over 5 years old and figured it would be a good time to increase my RAM to ensure my laptop continues for many more years to come. I'm not sure about other laptops but for the laptop I have, I had to remove the heatsink slightly in order to get the ram sticks into their proper place and because of this, I also recommend picking up some thermal paste; cleaning off the old paste and putting the new paste on. This will help ensure that the heatsink is doing its job.
Since this is only the first day with the new RAM I cannot attest to its longevity, however, this is very plug and play as I didn't need to do anything except install the new RAM as my laptop was able to detect the new during the next boot up.
