Value for money, light and stylish !
I bought another phone for my mum to use it in UK. But 3.day, it was broken. And I bought this one by paying 40£ more and value for money. Even my old mum understood the quality between old one and this one.

Sound quality really good.
Bought my husband this for Christmas as his other phone was having issues with the charger connection on his old phone. He loves says it was actually better than his old one a d the sound quality is fantastic

My old cubit lost battery power and I tried 2 other comparably priced sim free phones which were very poor. 3rd time lucky got a great deal on this Y6 and it's brill! Cracking phone for the money.

It serves the purpose. Value for money
It's a nice phone to use as a substitute when you can't afford the big brand. It works perfectly, although the camera is not the best, but its OK, charging is quick and battery lasts for the whole day.

Excellent Phone but many apps are not yet available to Huawei.
I loved everything about this phone. Large screen, ease of navigation through important settings and above all the excellent battery life. I'm not a heavy phone user but battery life exceeds anything I have ever had before. On the negative side and not a failing on Huawei's part is that many excellent apps that are available on the Android Play Store are not yet available on the Huawei App Store.

Totally fantastic value
This Android phone Is fantastic value at just over £100 you get totally reliable new phone with amazing mega pixel camera that thats stunning photo's put a lot of other phones to shame Great quality finish. Why spend lots of money when you can buy this phone which does it all Grab a bargain

Ok for price but low RAM causes issues
The 2GB RAM was an issue I didn't expect, if you have multiple tabs that you want to reopen it will reset those applications because the RAM can't cope. It's a very nice looking, slim phone though and is a good price, it's okay if you don't use many apps. I personally prefer longer battery life too so will be looking for something else soon.

Do not buy if you like to keep your phone updated due to the whole google and huwawei stuff that was going on. Its a great phone with decent specs and does the essentials and more.

Its has annoying issues but for the price it performs
Good points, battery and camera.
Bad points, clunky performance, not smooth changing apps or screens, face recognition intermittent.

Could just be perfect for the price!
It could just be perfect for the price if it hadn't been banned by google, not receiving updates with google apps. For this price point, its a good phone.
Screen is crisp and bright, battery time is also fair. I am happy with the purchase.

Huawei do it again
Huawei do it again with another hi-quality and inexpensive Android phone. A range of features enhance the user experience and the phone is fast and versatile to use. Easily competes with more expensive models from Apple and Samsung without compromising in the usual spaces (i.e. speed, memory). The camera quality on the Huawei phones has always been excellent and this in no exception.

received today and has been on 'updating' screen for more than 4 hours
I am unable to setup my new phone, it won't allow me to skip 'updating' and it won't update a thing. this is the 3rd screen in the setup process and I am still unable to use my phone. I may need to return it! Quite disappointing.

Mobile phone.
Works well, would have given it a 5star, only it didn't a screen finger print opening as advertised and the facial screen recognition doesn't work in poor lighting. But not a bad phone.

Battery life not good
I bought this phone because my old phones battery life didn't last long as it is 3 years old. This new phones battery life is worse i amm forever chargung it. I wonder if this is a recoditioned phlone and not new.

It’s nice....for my father in law surprise gift and he liked it. I try finger print sensor but I feel it’s not working.i didn’t try agin. That’s gift for him I didn’t try my finger sensor. But phone working very prefect.

The battery is not running well

Great phone for the money
Great for the money, bought this for £99 for my daughter and is as good as an iPhone for a 10th of the cost. If she loses it I wouldn't be so upset either.

Great phone
Great phone, battery life is amazing. Love the red colour. Bought one each for me and hubby who also is pleased with the phone. The Cameras are way better than my old Samsung. Sound is spot on. Very happy with the price and I think Huawei is going to be my go to phone in the future.

I never write reviews but Its needed for this.For the price you won't get anything better. The phone is an absolute gem, great camera, 32gb storage, high resolution screen, easy to use, fast, looks nice, the sound is phenomenal, battery is long lasting, can't find a bad part about it as of yet. 10 outta 10 would recommend to anyone. well happy with it.

Had to contact Huawi a few days after receiving new phone as phone was not working properly, and could not answer/hear calls.
Wanted an exchange but seller did not send new phone as agreed, so returning to purchase another phone

Get the pro or nothing
Absolute crap. The front shooter is decent, but the back camera setup is terrible, the night mode and other camera options are trash, and I had high Hope's for the p30 lite, but it doesn't have correct fam bands, and with the old slow kirin 760, the camera, which was the selling point for me, just isnt nearly lgood enough to justify $350 midrange phones.
Pass on this, i went with p20 pro for 200 more, far superior product.

My Consumer Cellular SIM Card would not fit in the carrier in the card slot.
I have used a Huawei for the last 4-5 years and found it to be the best smart phone I ever had. So I decided to upgrade to the P30, with the Android 9 operating system. Package arrived and I read the small multi language instruction sheet and finally realized that I had been provided a small specialized pin to make the SIM card carrier eject. When the carrier came out it looked fragile and easily damaged and possibly able to be inserted upside down. I did not like the fact that a small specialized pin was required to eject the carrier. It is easily lost and since I frequently change SIM cards when traveling internationally it is one more unnecessary item to carry and lose. So I tried to get my Consumer Cellular SIM card to ride in the carrier in every possible position and it just would not fit. I read the instructions and it said not to use a SIM card that was cut or modified, mine was not either, it was an original equipment SIM card in my previous Huawei purchased from Consumer Cellular. So before damaging anything and realizing that what starts off bad generally goes from bad to worse, I packed the P30 back up and sent it back for a refund. I just wish I could find a Huawei with the features that I need that would accept my SIM card in a convenient location and manner and have the new Android operating system. I think it would have been a good phone with everything and more than I wanted but if the SIM card does not fit, and cannot be easily changed out without an easily lost specialized pin, it is not the phone for me..
