Didn’t really work

Si tienes la intensión de adquirir este hostpot para llevar tu internet /chip) a donde vayas, debes considerar lo siguiente:

1.- La calidad y tecnología del hostpot es excelente.
2.- Debes contar con un plan de datos con una compañía que te permita compartirlos mediante un dispositivo como este, en caso contrario es mejor utilizar un celular como punto de acceso wifi y no comprar este Hostpot.
3.- En mi caso compré un chip virgin con Internet de 10 gb por mes, se llama ilimitado pero es solo el nombre por que después de los 10gb la velocidad es prácticamente nula, aunado a esto no permite compartir los datos, situación que hizo inutilizable el Hostpot.
4.- Considera la cobertura del plan que contrates, no en todas las ciudades hay recepción.
5.- Utilizar el hostpot como módem en un plan de datos no es costeable, para eso esta el internet fijo. El hostpot es mas para casos esporádicos,de emergencia o por negocios.
6.-Investiga los planes de Internet móvil para compartir, el costo y las coberturas son esenciales. .

Questo device è semplicemente fantastico! Non sapevo che ha anche lo slot per una microSD che si può utilizzare come file server da condividere!

Il device, E5577cs-321 è dotato anche di 2 connessioni per antenna wireless del tipo TS9. Attenzione, l'antenna NON serve per aumentare la ricezione e trasmissione della SIM, ma solamente la Wireless.

Il device è un vero proprio router, e funziona come il classico router ADSL. E per di più, se avete già una connessione wireless a casa, questo device può funzionare da ripetitore wireless! Fuori casa funziona da router con la SIM e appena entro a casa mia, fa lo switch subito alla wireless per risparmiare traffico dati SIM

L'ho caricato tutta la notte e l'ho acceso ed utilizzato dalle 8:30 del mattino, e la batteria è durata fino alle 15:30 con un utilizzo continuo. Non possiamo aspettare di più con una batteria piccola, però se avete possibilità di ricaricarlo (in macchina o dal computer) la ricarica è abbastanza veloce

Il router funziona con tutte le SIM senza problemi. Ho una scheda ILIAD da 30 GB/mese e quando l'ho inserita non si è subito collegato. Ho dovuto aggiungere una APN a mano digitando in due campi solamente la parola "iliad" (senza virgolette) ed è subito connesso su internet

Il display è molti intuitivo, e mostra il nome del gestore (iliad, Vodafone, TIM etc), il nome della Wireless, e optional la password (di default nascosta).

L'aloggio della SIM è un alloggio MarcoSIM, il più grande per intenderci, e per mettere una sim più piccola bisogna utilizzare un adattatore non incluso nella confezione originale.

Huawei vi da pure la possibilità di configurare le cose più comuni da una app denominata Huawei Link ed è abbastanza intuitiva ma non si possono configurare tutte le opzione come dalla sua interfaccia web.

Tutto quello che conoscete in un router ADSL normale, lo troverete in questo piccolo Device, dal NAT, Virtual Server, Port Forward, filtri IP, DHCP, firewall etc!

Ha anche l'opzione di aggiornare il firmware automaticamente o manualmente

Per me è stato un acquisto fatto bene e vale i 74 euro che ho speso. Comunque l'ho comprato dopo una settimana di ricerca e lettura di vari recensioni. Ve lo consiglio

Consiglierei il venditore di iserire un biglietto con istruzioni supplementari specificando che inserita la SIM nella saponetta bisogna collegarsi al portale del la saponetta ed inseire il profilo utente specificando l'APN dell'Operatore Telefonico facendo attenzione che alcuni operatori per le proprie SIM si appoggiano ad altri e quindi sulla saponetta potrebbe apparire un operatore diverso da quello con cui si ha il contratto telefonico di cui va inserito appunto l'APN ( ad esempio Postemobili la saponetta visualizza I WIND ma l'APN deve essere quello di postemobili).

We just moved to a basement apartment with no mobile signal or even 3G unless standing at the window. This little gizmo has provided a temporary solution until the broadband engineer comes in a couple of weeks. Although in the picture (with lighter for scale) it’s shown on the window cill, plugged into the mains power and an external aerial, it functions well enough without either and away from the window. My iPhone 8 gets 4G even two rooms away, and we’ve had three people connected at a time, with two streaming music. Most excellent.

I'm not a networks geek, but I had this out of the box, fitted with my O2 SIM and running within 20 minutes. I use it to provide a wifi signal for my iPod and my laptop when I'm away from home, and it does the job excellently. I'm typing this revue from a boat at anchor off the South coast, with a 4G signal and sub-second screen refresh rate, so I'm well pleased.
Small caveat - I have given the 'battery life' 5 stars although I haven't used it long enough to really know, simply because I can't post the revue without entering SOMETHING even if I guess it. Sorry.

Ich habe zuvor einen anderen mobilen Router verwendet, der im Speedtest mit einer SIM-Karte, die eine bis zu 150 mb/s schnelle Internetverbindung anbietet, lediglich 20-30 mb/s erreeicht hat.
Nicht so dieser Router! Hiermit habe ich direkt 110 mb/s erreicht und das sehr konsistent.
Außerdem war die Einrichtung mehr als nur einfach, da man lediglich den mitgelieferten Akku und seine Sim-Karte einsetzen muss.
Der Router richtet sich anschließend selbst ein.
Man liest einfach nur den W-Lan-Namen und das Passwort vom Display ab und loggt sich ein.
Besser gehts nicht :)

Il modemmino funziona bene ed è abbastanza veloce la configurazione.

Ma un bel punto negativo, questo modem per quel che costa doveva quanto meno avere al suo interno il 4G+, in più se mi permettete non doveva in nessun modo avere un chip datato, cioè un mio smartphone vecchio del 2012 prende uguale a questo dispositivo, se ne prendo uno più recente lo smartphone prende meglio, ha più tacche e più velocità.
Quindi Ora mi viene da pensare...
Ma al giorno d'oggi che gli smartphone costano 30 40€ in più a questo modem, che senso ha acquistare un dispositivo del genere se poi la ricezione non è mostruosa?
Per me sti modem dovrebbero prendere anche nei bunker (tanto per fare un esempio) altrimenti non hanno senso di esistere...

Spedizione e consegna in stile Amazon, cioè impeccabile. E' il secondo router wi-fi Huawei da me acquistato perché intendo rinunciare a telefono fisso + ADSL, perché mi costano più del doppio rispetto alle due SIM (1 Iliad + 1 TIM, per complessivi 50 giga al mese). I prodotti cinesi in genere vengono considerati economici ma di scarsa qualità; i prodotti Huawei invece sono economici ma di ottima qualità. Il primo router l'ho acquistato 4 anni fa ed è ancora perfettamente funzionante; ho comprato il secondo perché è 4G. Con la SIM TIM funziona in tutta Italia (io l'ho provato in 4-5 regioni) senza problemi.

Non posso che consigliarne l'acquisto.

Ho letto qualche critica per il fatto che sul display appaiono SSID e password. Non ho l'abitudine di usarlo in metropolitana, al cinema o in strade affollate; quindi almeno per me il problema non esiste.

Straightforward to install sim card and battery. Connected to devices but no connections to internet. I have wasted several hours trying to get internet access without success although all devices pick up the wifi signal. This may have something to do with the IP address. I don't know, I don't have the time or the will to find out. I shouldn't have to. Minimal instructions. Help websites don't function or of no use. No telephone support. If I could give it O stars, I would. It's going back. Buyer beware!

Ich habe dieses Gerät in meinem Kroatien Urlaub 2018 zusammen mit den dort angebotenen VIP Tourist SIM Karten verwendet gehabt. Dies hatte einwandfrei funktioniert! Ich hatte keine Verbindungsabbrüche und konnte sogar problemlos online Spiele (Elder Scrolls Online) mit meiner Xbox One spielen.

Die App von Huawei ist wichtig, da darüber auch die SMS des Providers angezeigt werden können (zb Daten Limit erreicht - übrigens bei 20 GB ist Schluss mit dieser Touristen Karte) und man die Nutzungsstatistik zurück setzen kann nach dem einlegen einer neuen SIM Karte.

APN Einstellungen kann man vornehmen über die App aber war überhaupt nicht notwendig. Karte einlegen und gut ist. Das Gerät zeigt auch auf dem Display die verbrauchten Daten an.

Leider ist der Akku recht schwach. Bei nur 2 verbundenen Smartphones war dieser nach ca. 3,5 Stunden leer. Für größere Touren empfiehlt es sich einen Ersatz Akku mitzunehmen. Das Aufladen dauerte übrigens auch recht lange.

In Verpackung befindet sich übrigens kein Netzteil sondern nur ein USB Kabel. Dieses kann man aber problemlos an jedem Smartphone Netzteil anschließen (zb vom iPhone / iPad).

Mein Fazit:
Ein sehr tolles Gerät zum akzeptablen Preis mit stabiler Daten Verbindung und niedrigem Ping für Online Spiele.

Nous revenons de deux semaines aux États Unis où nous avons acheté une carte SIM T-Mobile prépayée ($50 pour 10GB en 4G puis illimité en débit réduit) pour la mettre dans ce petit appareil (vraiment petit, un peu plus grand qu’une carte de crédit et épais comme 13 cartes de crédit)
A Los Angeles, tout fonctionne bien, nous avons eu entre 2 et 5 appareils connectés dessus (iPhones, iPad), je n’ai pas mesuré la durée de vie de la batterie précisément, mais je dirais qu’elle dure environ 4-5h avec un usage normal+ (réseaux sociaux, recherches Google, et google Maps quasi permanent sur minimum 2 appareils).
Le routeur chauffe en usage à tel point que ça en devient désagréable dans la poche, j’ai donc fini par le laisser dans le sac à dos.
Je l’ai également gardé branché sur une batterie externe, ou dans la voiture et je n’ai plus eu à m’en soucier.
Une fois dans les hôtels, nous utilisions le wifi de ceux ci pour limiter l’usage de notre quota, sauf quand le wifi des hôtels était trop mauvais. Au final nous avons utilisé 9,63Go sur les 10.
Dans le désert, il ne sert à rien mais c’est normal, par contre à Las Vegas, où il y a la T-Mobile Arena, impossible d’obtenir quoi que ce soit. Ce n’est sûrement pas le routeur qui est en cause ni la carte SIM mais le réseau T-Mobile... puisqu’une fois ailleurs (Palm Spring et LA) tout fonctionnait à nouveau.
Au final, on se demande encore pourquoi on n’a pas pensé plus tôt à ça, et nous ne partirons plus dans ce petit appareil.

A noter l’application qui va avec permet de suivre la quantité de data utilisée, de recevoir et envoyer des SMS, et autres options que je n’ai pas explorées car je n’en ai pas eu besoin.

velocità 4G, fino a 10 device ... ma il top si ottiene andando nei settaggi e impostando la modalità di funzionamento a 5ghz (di default è settata a 2,4ghz) ... possibilità di fare NAT e port forwarding (ammesso che il gestore telefonico della sim lo consenta) ... possibilità di usarlo come WAN extender di un rete ADSL o FIBRA ... insomma una delle migliori in circolazione

Bei schlechtem Empfang im Haus hat man die Möglichkeit den Router für viele Stunden (Akku) woanders zu platzieren!
Zur Not kann man sogar eine externe Antenne anschließen!

Ich arbeite mit zwei Karten (Telefon/Internetstick), beide sind von einem bekannten Discounter und ergänzen sich prima beim Datenvolumenverbrauch im Wechsel. Auch wenns im Urlaub mal knapp beim Telefonvolumen wird einfach über den Router und der Internetstickkarte im Rucksack weiter machen!

Also der Empfänger ist eindeutig besser als bei meinem iPhone 6 - ganz ohne Frage. Wenn ich mit diesem kein- oder nur E-Netz habe, zeigt mir der kleine Router mindestens 3G an. Somit eindeutig eine Empfangsverbesserung. Auch verbindet sich das Gerät schnell und problemlos mit den Endgeräten - super!
Schlecht hingegen ist, dass sich die Batterie - auch bei ausgeschaltetem Zustand - entlädt. Ich dachte beim I. Mal, dass ich vergessen hätte das Gerät auszuschalten, als es leer anzeigte. Dann habe ich mal darauf geachtet und festgestellt, dass sich der Akku tatsächlich auch in ausgeschaltetem Zustand nach 2-3 Tagen entlädt. Also - vor jedem Einsatz aufladen!!!!!

Have fitted this in my Motorhome to provide broadband WiFi Access Point. Works well other than seem unable to force it to connect at 3G or 4G - in weak areas it will drop back to 2G which has no Internet capability!
