After having to endure many years of poor wi-fi when on holiday abroad. I decided to take the plunge this year and do something about it. I spent many hours reading the reviews about mobile wi if products other customers brought on amazon and this one fitted the criteria; it had to be easy to use as I am not a techie and reliable. I could not have made a better choice. I have spent two weeks abroad. All I had to do was buy a sim to cover me for the amount of data that I would require. There were some good deals so I opted for a one month only 40 gb good bag from Giffgaff. I inserted the sim and followed the set up instructions and had wi fi whenever I wanted it. This product also allows other devices to be connected and my friends also benefited. The beauty of this product is that it shows you how many devices are connected and how much data you have used as part of its display and the wi-do is reliable even when several devices were connected. One tip I would advise is that you set up before you go abroad.

t mobile originally used huawei then they went to somewhere else. I did not want to give up my great t mobile deal and opt for another t mobile mobile wifi, so i shopped on line for an unlocked mob wifi dongle. I dont really think it makes much difference except that technology has helped it process faster maybe make reception a little more apparent. But this dongle combined with the antenna, definately more the antenna, make mobile surfing at home a pleasure rather than an angsty experience of 'how good a signal will i get tonight?'

Le produit est conforme à la description et fonctionne très bien.
La prise en main est simple et rapide : il suffit d’insérer la carte SIM (au format standard), de démarrer l’appareil et de s’y connecter via les identifiants fournis ! Il peut être nécessaire de saisir le code PIN au préalable sur l’interface web dédiée (192.168.8.1) ou sur l’application Huawei.
Au niveau de l’utilisation, l’écran permet d’avoir un aperçu de la DATA consommée, ce qui est très pratique. Huawei a d’ailleurs mis en place une application (Huawei HiLink) qui permet d’indiquer un seuil de DATA à ne pas dépasser pour le mois en cours. A noter que cette application permet également d’envoyer et de recevoir des SMS !
Une carte microSD peut être insérée.
La batterie tient 4-5 heures, ce qui est déjà pas mal. Personnellement, le mien est branché en permanence sur secteur (à noter que le chargeur et le câble Micro USB ne sont pas fournis).

Einrichtung erfolgte einfach und schnell. Lieferumfang bietet alles, was man braucht. Signalqualität ist einwandfrei. Gerät lässt sich schnell aufladen.
Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Akkulaufzeit. Ich war vorher von der XSBox (4G Systems) verwöhnt, die aber wesentlich teurer ist, als dieses Gerät. Nach ein paar Stunden hat das Gerät von Huawei keinen Saft mehr.
Tipp: Wer größere Touren plant, sollte eine Powerbank mitnehmen.

Cercavo un Router portatile che fosse piccolo, affidabile e che consentisse l'aggiunta di eventuali antenne esterne per migliorare il segnale in posti difficili da raggiungere. Questo Huawei E5577C è perfetto. Si collega alla rete internet a 4G e in WiFi a 2.4 oppure 5 GHz (io l'ho messo a 5GHz) In condizioni ottimali supera i 30MB/s. Lo si può utilizzare tranquillamente anche con Console di gioco. Semplicissimo da configurare. Ottimo veramente.

Dopo aver scartato la confezione, ho avuto diversi ripensamenti sull'acquisto, credevo di non aver preso il prodotto giusto, ma mi sono dovuto ricredere dopo qualche l'utilizzo.
Il modem nella sua categoria è uno dei migliori nel rapporto qualità/prezzo, non ha molti fronzoli, è essenziale, leggero, compatto e semplice da configurare. La qualità di ricezione è molto buona, dove altri dispositivi arrancavano, con questo riesco ad avere un minimo di 4g stabile, che mi permette di navigare intorno a 10 mega.
Non do cinque stelle, solo per via della batteria, effettivamente è piccola, e la durata non è entusiasmante. Però in quanto a trasportabilità è imbattibile. Inoltre è cat.4 quindi "solo" 150mbps, ma per quanto mi riguarda sono più che sufficienti data il livello del segnale dell'area in cui vivo.

I use this in our motorhome in conjunction with an external antenna (Poynting Puck), I frequently see 50Mbps up and down, which is faster than the BT Infinity I have at home.
Easy to configure, and the app which you can link it too is useful, showing data used, number of devices online, and allows you to send text messages from the router too.

Me lo compré para aprovechar la SIM adicional para datos de mi tarifa y poder gastarlos en el coche cuando vamos de viaje, para los móviles y la tablet de los niños. Funciona muy bien. Se configura desde una aplicación en el móvil, aunque también se puede hacer desde un PC (el cable USB que lleva es muy corto) pero a mí no me reconoció los drivers. Como curiosidad, la batería es extraíble como la de un móvil (por lo que supongo que se pueden encontrar recambios) y la SIM deber ser la standard, la más grande. No admite micro-SIM ni nano-SIM.

il prodotto è molto efficiente , basta inserire la sim e digitare la password indicata poi si consiglia di modificarla .
la risposta al collegamento è veloce, display chiaro e comodo anche per visualizzare il consumo .

Sie finden die IP unter "Menü" "Gerätedaten"
Nach Aufenthalt in Italien, Griechenland, Albanien war plötzlich der Zugang vom PC über die vom Werk eingestellte IP Adresse nicht mehr möglich.
Hat ein wenig gedauert bis ich drauf gekommen bin. Ich habe nicht gedacht, dass sich die IP am Gerät ändern könnte.
Tut sie aber.
Aber dann halt die "Neue" eingeben und gut ists.
Ansonsten ist das Gerät der Hammer !!

I tried this mini 4G router with a 3 SIM and an EE SIM.. tried it in several locations.
While my phone was getting download speeds of up to 50mbps with the same SIM in the same location, this router was stick at 4 or 5 Mbps.
A DLink 4G router in the same area with the same SIM was getting speeds of 20mbps
I bought an external antenna and speeds only improved by 1mbps.
Not at all what I was expecting.
Would have returned but lost the box !!

E' davvero semplice da impostare nonostante le solite istruzioni scritte in caratteri minuscoli. La connessione e la riconnesione successiva sono banali nel senso della facilità delle impostazioni. Ha per me anche il notevole e inaspettato pregio di avere almeno un 30 per cento di ricezione migliore rispetto ai due samsung che utilizzo nello stesso luogo come accade in qualsiasi altra posizione. Questa maggiore sensibilità produce, con una sim 4G Iliad, una velocità superiore; arrivata in zona verde (seconda al solo massimo verde scuro della scala nazionale prodotta dall'app Che banda di Altroconsumo ) a ca 80 Mb al secondo. Da non crederci, i telefonini non avevano mai superato i 40 Mb al secondo.

Worked okay till I changed the Sim to another provider
This dongle would not accept the new sim I could not get a signal caused me nothing but Hassel
Had to take it to a specialist who said it was the settings where the malfunction was
As I was traveling I needed mobile broadband so I had to buy another dongle

The app used to allow us to remove users which was very useful to us with our children. No longer allows this, the app is now hard to logon and you can't remove users. Hopeless. A big disappointment for something that used to be perfect for us.

Works great, I fitted this with a EE data card. No issues setting up, changing the SSID or WPA key. The only thing to be aware of is the battery is only really good for 4-5 hours if you are constantly downloading data. To be fair the specs say 6 hours so not far out. Spare batteries aren't expensive if you need something to run for a working day (or plug it into a USB charger/PC etc).

This is a very good piece of equipment it works very well. However the sim card that comes with it I found to be totally useless, I spent a couple of hours attempting to get it to work but was unsuccessful. I bought a Vodafone sim card and it works perfectly.

Cercavo un modem router che funzionasse con SIM 4g. Questo modello fa al caso anche se mi ha deluso. La prima impostazione non è affatto evidente e le quasi nulle istruzioni non aiutano, ma smanettandoci un pò si riesce a prendere confidenza. Quello che più mi delude è la durata della batteria, assurdo pensare che 3 ore si entra già in riserva. Praticamente si riesce a vedere con batteria carica un film in streaming, oppure lavorare al pc per circa 3-4 ore e semplice navigazione internet. una delusione.

I use this in a rural area with a 3 SIM (unlimited). Solid connection, great speed, reasonable coverage (WiFi range not as good as a proper modem router). The display shows useful info without the need to log in or use an app. Like most decent tech, you just use and forget it.

Delighted with thus wifi box. I had a okder model and it inly got 3g this one has 4g so my unternet is even better. Very easy to use and set up and its great being abke to connect up to 10 devices. Would highly recommend. Please not this item is being used with a 3 sim (ireland).

Basically plug&play. I use an EE micro sim with a monthly contract that stops me having to continuously top up & limits to a fixed amount. The device it’s self is only limited by the mobile coverage (which is quite extensive on EE). The HUAWEIHiLink app is well constructed & easy to use.

Took a little while to set up, however it works well and achieves good download speeds. Pleased with the purchase, although the battery life is average. (Bought a PAYG sim which will expire after 12 months, not worth topping this up, better to buy another.)

Excellent mobile broadband for anywhere. Very good 4g signal indeed. Only criticism - took a bit of time to set up. The instructions are not very good but once set up it’s very good indeed.

Great product but very poor battery life. I travel with work a lot. I have to have this thing plugged into a portable batter 24/7. I'm not sure if I have a faulty unit but if I get an hour out of it I'm lucky
