I bought this based on high reviews from c-net and pc advisor; what a mistake. Nowhere in any description does it tell you that you must use the e-fax service. If I wanted to spend $13 or more a month for e-fax, I could do it from my computer. It is also very noisy compared to other injets that I have.Bought it yesterday, taking it back today.

I love the idea of this machine so much I went out and bought 2, one for the office and one for home. Setup the first one in my home and it was working just fine for the first 10 minutes then the print head malfunctioned. Error messages says it's not installed right or is missing. Call tech support, went through all the routines and failed. Tech support said they would ship me a new print head within 2 weeks. Ugh. Finally got it, installed it and FAILURE.Setup the one at my office and all worked great except the apps. Spent a couple hours (Yes, at least 2 full hours) on tech support with no luck. They said it was my firewall but couldn't get around it. Note that I have a small office with a system that is nothing much different than a home network. Decided to take it home and try their since the apps on my home computer synced up just fine. Nope, FAILURE! All was working fine until 10 minutes of printing out some coloring sheets for my kids and FAILURE, the Print head is not installed right or missing. FAILURE!Sorry HP, back to the drawing board!

Well received the printer new from Amazon in record time, wrapped it and put it under the Christmas tree as a gift. Opened it on Christmas and went to set it up and it would not turn on. Went through all the trouble shooting with no success, not much you can do when the printer will not even turn on. Checked Amazon and they said to contact the vendor so off I went to HP's site. After looking for sometime I finally found a contact number and we called them on Monday and sure enough the "new" printer was defective. So OK this sucks as a gift but it can happen to even the best products, the biggest problem I'm having is that HP wanted to replace the new defective product with a refurbished one. They gave us a huge hassle before finally agreeing to send out a replacement that was new instead of wanting to fix the problem properly in the beginning. I haven't received the new printer yet to know if it really is new like it is supposed to be or how well the printer actually works because it was defective to begin with. Will update when I know for sure.

My hubby loves this printer. He does a lot of duplex (2-sided) printing and this printer is great at this. He thought he would prefer to use it corded. However, when he turned it on, it worked cordless the 1st time. We have not had it long enough to give a review on the life of the inkjet cartridges.So far this is a great printer.

Bought this printer to use in a 100% Mac environment, primarily for its AirPrint capabilities.After the printer was finally setup, it's obvious that it's a good little printer with copying, scanning, and faxing capabilities.BUT, initial setup was a PAIN. It was linked to the wireless network as soon as it was turned on, DHCP assigned it an IP address, and configuration showed that it was connected. However, the included HP software could NOT find it on the network. Mac printer setup could NOT find it on the network. Trying to ping the assigned IP address showed that the device was not recognized.After shutting it off and on several times, the HP software was finally able to recognize it. Mobile iOS devices also now recognize it for AirPrint.So, just keep in mind that you'll pull a few of your hairs out trying to set it up and you'll be ok.

A very very good machine. Love the touch pad with all the apps. Love the wireless connection too. Very easy to set up, and very easy to connect to my Apple iPad. The ink cartridge design was a great addition, only having to replace the color that runs out instead of replacing the whole cartridge like some of the other models. You can check the ink levels from the touch pad, which is very neat. You can Fax without a phone line from the touch pad, you can scan, copy and do all the apps from the touch pad without having the computer on. Another thing I love about the wireless feature is, I can print from my Apple iPad. There is only one thing I don't like is, it is a little noisy when printing, but I can live with it. All the other features outweigh a little noise. I highly recommend this product.

My Lexmark (it was cheap) died last week and I ordered this printer. Had it set up in under 30 minutes including its network and wireless function. Printing has exceeded expectations and I will be an HP fan forever. Being able to print directly from my iPhone, iPad and pictures from facebook is totally cool. The Lexmark cost me $99 and died in under 6 months for only $40 more I now have a great printer that I expect will last for a few years.Great printer at a fair price.HP Photosmart 7510 All-in-One with eFax PrinterJust used the eFax function: AWESOME!!!

Bought this to replace our Canon MX860 which started freaking out after only 2 years. Purchased at Costco (actually 7515 model, which is exactly the same as far I can tell, except the 7515 included the USB cable). The setup was super easy with my Mac OSX Lion based iMac and Macbook Air. Plugged the USB cable into the MB Air after the initial printer setup and was immediately prompted to download the software. After a reboot it was ready to go. Same on the iMac.Only thing that didn't go as advertised was the wireless setup. The printer asked me if I wanted to do the setup from the computer (which it recommended), but I could not find any way to do that with the software that was installed. But I went back to the printer panel and did the setup from there and it was a breeze.I'm still keeping an eye on it because of the negative reviews, but so far so good. I'll update if that changes.

This thing worked OK for about 2 weeks. Since then it prints with streaks and inhaled ink. It's no wonder that HP is laying off 28,000 workers. Their products stink. The last HP printer I had was OK until it wore out. But no more.

Large 8.5x11 format HP Premium or Advanced photo paper show horizontal lines when printed by wireless or USB. This size will print without lines if the memory card is inserted directly into the printer. However, this can be inconvenient.

Received the first printer and one of the monitor hinges was cracked off and was packed that way from HP. Sent it back and ordered a replacement. Second printer was defective and had hardware issues. After an hour with HP tech support, issue was not a software one but instead a defect in the printer. Sending it back to Amazon and ordering a different model. This was not an Amazon problem but instead from HP. This was a replacement for my two year old HP inkjet printer which died when a small piece of plastic broke off next to the ink cartridges. What's up with the quality of HP anyway? One more attempt and I'm moving on to a different company.

Picked this up after Christmas and have been using it ever since. For the price and quality, it's hard to beat. The touch controls are easy to use and the display is easy to read. Print quality for pictures is good. Ink can be expensive, so I've had to limit how much color printing I do, especially photos. If you're going to use that much color ink, I recommend using photo paper. Photo paper photos last and you can put them in a frame. eFax is something I haven't tried much but it has worked well so far.

Drivers that came with the ePrinter were constantly busy harassing our computers. Mouse pointer busy, hard drive working hard... computers became loud and slow. I tracked the problem down in task manager to the HP driver which multiplies itself in memory back and forth from 1 to 3 times. After removal of the the HP programs, the computers went back to normal. I wouldn't recommend an HP ePrinter.

The printer prints beautiful photos. HOWEVER, I scan a lot of family photos, many small ones, and my last HP printer would scan several at once, with separate crops, to separate jpeg files. VERY convenient in time spent. This printer will not do that, you can put as many photos as you want on the scanner, but it will only crop and scan one at a time - impossible!! I would not have purchased this printer if I had known that, I assumed because my last printer was an all-in-one HP, that this one would do the same. WHY would they not include this?If you intend to do a lot of scanning of photos, forget this one. And you had better check with HP before you buy any other model to make sure that it will do just that.

After having had an inability to get other wireless printers to work at all---wirelessly, that is---we were very pleased with the ease with which this one set itself up and worked correctly from the get go. It eases considerably our burden of printing conveniently from laptop and desktop PCs and my wife's IPAD from anywhere in the house. We haven't printed a lot of photos with it, but we are very impressed and pleased with the quality of those we have printed. All other printing it does quickly and easily. We are very happy with our purchase. Delivery was quick and the box arrived in very good condition. We recommend the printer and the vendor.

Although this printer works exactly as it should, I regret not having purchased the slightly higher model, which comes with automatic-feed for photo paper (as with regular paper). It would have been well worth the expense, and why HP even makes one that doesn't auto-feed, I'll never know. Otherwise, a terrific product.

I love the eprint function. I am having no problems with this and it is very convenient. Photo prints are very nice. We don't print a lot at home but all I really wanted this for was to print from my iPad and iPhone. I also love being able to print from everywhere . My only complaint is that the ink cartridges do not line up in e enter to replace the ink. I suspect mine is defective but I am able to manipulate it over in order to change the ink.

I was looking for a decent printer after my cannon printer totally stopped working!This HP printer had the functions I was looking for at the right price.It arrived early. The directions said 1) unpack. 2) plugin and turn on.... that was it!Works great! all functions work! and set up was as easy as ccould be. I'm impressed.

I did a lot of research for a printer that would be wireless as well as be able to print from my apple devices. This printer was worth every penny. Very easy to set up and it prints from a very large range. We have a large ranch and we have no problems with communication between the computer, I pad or I pod touch. Scanning is also very easy. I have not used the fax feature yet but I imagine it also is very user friendly. I give this printer 5 stars and would highly recommend it.

HP keeps making products as cheaply as possible hoping enough work thatthey can make profit, no quality control. $80 dollars for ink refills.This Photosmart 7510 was defective right out of the box.Other reviewers have the same problem. So it is hit or miss.In this case miss. There is a carriage error. Never evengets to setup.

The installer CD that came with the printer did not work (tried many times) and even lost connection with my previously working printers. Now it appears that the driver CD deleted my print spooler! Tried to uninstall the printer several times, but it would not delete ALL files. After many frustrating hours, and help from a couple of friends, deleted/uninstalled all files and then downloaded the driver from HP on-line site, and finally I could print. Currently, I am only using it when directly connected to my PC. So far so good with simple printing tasks. I worry about when I have to set it up so that it can print using WiFi or scan a document, etc.!

Very impressive printer for the price. It was smooth to setup, no problems (which is very rare), and has worked seamlessly with MacBook Air, Windows 7, and even Vista computers. High quality, fairly quick printing. I love the air printing and email to print features, very slick. Also the EFax capability is handy. The touch screen interface is also very nice. Overall, I couldn't be happier!
