This was a great deal for a fair price. We have always purchased HP printers and love the quality they produce. We set this up in our home and it works perfectly. We also found remanufactured ink cartridges for about 25% of the retail price, which can save us a lot of money over the next couple of years.

I have had great luck with HP printers over the years and decided it was time to add a wireless printer to my network. The reason I selected the 7510 was because the eFax feature would allow me to eliminate a dedicated phone line we are using for fax service - the savings would actually pay for the printer in a few months. I had read reviews about difficulties setting eFax up, but had no problem to download the software. When I tried to start the application, however, my Mac informed me that I couldn't open eFax Messenger because "Power PC applications are no longer supported". After lots of searching on eFax, I finally came across a note to the effect that it won't work on Intel-based Macs. I love the ability to print from my iPhone and iPad, and the dual paper trays - one for photos, one for plain paper - were a big selling point. But I won't be able to use the fax feature as I wanted to, so I think I'll have to return the printer. This isn't Amazon's fault at all (although some of the 'helpful' reviews extolling the virtues of eFax on the same operating system I'm running were overblown and misleading).

I've been searching for a printer that would fit my picky needs for about a year now. I've bought and returned about 3 mid-line printers. The 6510 looked good, but I decided to go with the 7510 instead. Since I haven't bought a printer since 2005, I had no idea what I was missing as far as features go. And the packaging is awesome. No more plastic wrapping, it came packaged in a re-usable tote bag - going green and all.I LOVE that I can print from my iPhone, and the ePrint feature is cool too. My printer now has it's own email address and it actually worked when I emailed to it. Fabulous. I haven't used the eFax yet, but I hear it works well.The touchscreen is nice and the apps are cool...not exactly totally necessary but it's funny to know that my printer can get me coupons in my area. EASY and fast setup for PC and Mac!One thing I was hung up on was print quality. And I wasn't disappointed. It prints very good quality photos, the best I've seen since my last HP photo printer that I refused to throw away. Nothing beats a photo lab for important photos, but with the good HP paper provided.The cons:I'm giving it 4 stars because there is no USB port, only an SD and micro SD port. This isn't good for me since I like to alter my photos and getting them BACK onto an SD is nearly impossible without an adapter (which I have to buy). Also, I can't seem to be able to print 4x6 photos from the computer. The 4x6 photos paper will feed through the photo tray with an SD card but not through the comp. It only feeds from the main feeder when printing through there.I'll just get an adapter because it's a small price to pay.

actually it is a really great printerseems to go thru ink faster than i would think but all in all it is pretty cool.i like the way it does the two sided printing and can print from ios devices...

OUr 7515 replaced 3 other printers throughout the house. While the printer is very cool in its intended features, it just simply does not work much of the time. I find myself restarting it by unplugging and re-plugging when documents constantly hang, it sends me literally 15-20 alerts at a time about ink even after replacing the cartridge. I've tried all the trouble shooting steps - no luck. I just have to replace it.

I like this printer and particularly wanted it for its double sided printing (works great) and AirPrint with my iPads. I occasionally need to send and receive a fax, which was claimed to be free for up to 20 pages per month. Apparently, the eFax bait-and-switch offer has been rescinded and now the cheapest fax capability costs more than the printer ($17 a mo with a set up charge). I will keep the printer, but I still need a fax machine, so my old printer waits in a closet for occasional use. Had I known this, I would not have purchased this product, but would have waited for a more complete option....Alas, I have given up on the machine and sent it back. It constantly lost connection with my computer, which I could correct by reloading software. If I used the USB, it complained that AirPrint was not available while the USB was attached (why not?). Without many prints (I'd guess 50), the black ink gave out. I replaced it and got no improvement. I just could not invest more hours in a device that should be simple.

We do not used this printer much. One time I will make a copy or two and it is perfect. Next time I get nothing or maybe a spot or two of ink on the paper. I have adjusted and cleaned the printer heads and cartridges. Yes, there is ink. NO LUCK!Not sure what to do. I do not recommend this. Anyone want to buy a clean slightly used hp?

I have had this printer for about a week now and so far I love it! It works great with my computer (Sony with Windows 7) and my cellphone (iphone 4s). It is very easy to install with the exception of one thing. When it first came I couldn't get it to align so I went to the website about the troubleshooting with ink as all my pages keep printing out a really light grey. It recommended making sure that all the peeling from the orange tape had been removed and that I try to clean the ink spot a little to make sure that the ink was okay. After trying both things that printer aligned and it printed perfectly!This printer has all kinds of little apps included with it that are really neat. It print quickly and automatically prints two-sided (you can change it if you want. Though I personally do not know how as this is something I do not want to change). The pictures look amazing when they print out! I love the colors and the details that show up. Also printing on envelopes goes through really well.Touch screen is pretty nice. Setup using it was a breeze.Scanning is pretty straight forward and shows up well on my computer.As for the faxing I have not yet had a change to try it but I will update this review once I have.

Absolutely love this printer!! With the iPhone apps downloaded to my iPhone you can do everything straight from you iPhone (print, copy, scan, check ink levels, etc.) With theiPhone apps you can even transfer scanned documents to your Dropbox, Google Drive, etc! Not a home connected to your Wifi no problem, just email it to your printers specific email and it will print and be ready for you when you arrive home! Also share your printer email and your friends and family can send you their pictures and documents! Also the ink is reasonable in price!

The HP 7510 printer is really quite nice. The AirPrint and ePrint features are really handy and relatively easy to use. The printer set-up (2 Apple computers and 2 Windows computers) was somewhat difficult. The Apple computers had to go through the Internet to get the software/drivers (don't use the discs that came with the computer).... follow the instructions sheet. One of the Windows computers (running Windows 7) was set-up with the included set-up disc, but the older Windows computer (running Vista) could not successfully load the driver/software. Rather than deal with Vista problems/issues, I chose to just not load the printer drivers/software on the older machine (maybe I'll get to it in the near future.... but the older machine is not used much and I have a Brother laser printer that the machine can access.The photo output from the printer is amazing. The operation is relatively quiet, with typical hums and noises, but not annoying.The only downside is the cost of replacement ink cartridges. A complete set of 5 XL cartridges will run just under $100. OUTRAGEOUS! But, the colors and print quality is really very good. An alternative is to buy/use remanufactured or compatible cartridges, but you will need to give up the printer's ability to monitor ink levels.All in all, the printer is a good value at the $141 i paid for it, but the cost of ink will quickly overwhelm the reasonable acquisition cost of the printer, I think.

I have now owned this unit for over a year and it's continued to be the best "all in one" printer/fax/scanner I've owned. I think these things are somewhat disposable and this one seems very durable. It's also very easy to use which is critical for my better half who tends to be technically challenged. The unit connects to the internet (easily) which allows me to print directly from my iPad...very handy!So after one year + this gets 5 stars from me!

I couldn't believe that this little printer does a better job than the color laser printers at print shops! I used Staples matte photo paper and my pictures have good contrast. You can see very tiny detail that the professional laser printer blurs. Also, the HP printer seems to have just the right amount of color so that things are visible, i.e., not muddied and too dark as on the laser printer. Also, so far I have just used the "standard" printer setting, not any "best photo" setting.This matte paper with the HP comes out better than glossy paper on a laser. And glossy is supposed to be sharper!

My main criteria for a printer was the print quality. During my research, this printer was always on my top 3 and top 1 based on price. Text printing is quick and as good as a desk top laser printer. The printed pictures look as good as those that I had developed at a local retail store and much more convenient. When using the copy function, the copies come out looking almost like the originals. Although, this printer has a lot of functionality, setting it up was easy; after unpacking it and turning it on, just follow the instructions on the LCD and within minutes you will be printing.

Set up for this printer was very easy. I have a Mac Mini running Lion OS and so I could not use the CD-Rom if I wanted to. Fortunately, I didn't need to. After setting up the printer, it sent me an email and directed me to set up my HP account where I could easily get the drivers needed for our 3 macs in the house and the 1 PC. It all worked seamlessly. I was very impressed. Connecting to wireless was as easy as inputting our SSID. No issues. I tested the print from iPhone and iPad function, worked easily and the first time. Overall, the first use experience was better than expected. As an added bonus, I was at first dismissing the apps on the printer. However, my 7YO was intrigued and clicked on the Dreamworks app and promptly printed out a fun coloring and cutting exercise of the characters. I was impressed. Not a reason to buy, but definitely a delighter. Overall, great product after 1 day and initial set up.
