I was in the market for a new monitor after my 17" Sony decided that life was no longer worth living. I decided to look for a larger screen, but I didn't want to pay an inordinate amount. This monitor fit the bill perfectly.The diagonal is truly 20", but takes some getting used to as the screen is much longer horizontally than vertically. It has a very fast response (I hooked it up through the DVI cable), the color is excellent, and I haven't found a single dead pixel. I haven't yet tried the controls, as the picture was fine out of the box. Some folks complained that the bright blue power indicator light was distracting, but I don't notice it. The lack of high-end features, such as built-in speakers, wasn't a problem for me.In short, if you're looking for a great basic LED monitor at a price that won't break the bank, you've found it.Highly recommended.

We were looking for an inexpensive monitor, but wanted a good, name brand product. This HP 20 inch monitor is great! The screen is sharp and clear. We feel we made a great choice and would recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a good product at a fair price.

This HP 2011X 20-INCH LED MONITOR was included with my purchase of a HP PAVILION about a year ago. The monitor is a huge upgrade over my old 16-inch Sony monitor. The monitor is really lightweight. You can make adjustments on the screen easily. All the pictures and video are sharp and bright. This monitor does NOT include built-in speakers so you'll have to get yourself some external ones in order to hear sound (personally, I don't like monitors with internal speakers). I have had no issues with this monitor and am quite pleased with it. It's a good monitor for a great price.

I ordered this for my daughter so she could have 2 monitors for a desktop. It looks and works very well. No problems so far at all.

Day 1 installed and worked fine. Shut down pc. Started PC next day and monitor has a blue flickering verticle line on the screen. Called HP and they are shipping a replacement after spending over an hour on the phone with them.

Simply amazed by the picture quality of this monitor, have a Sony Bravia at home, but this monitor looks better than my Sony Bravia.I am a graduate student and bought this monitor to use with my laptop for long hours of research/coding. However, realized that my laptop does not support 1600 x 900 resolution and hence switched my Dell 1920 for office and brought this home. The first time I used this monitor to surf the web, only one word came to my mind, Awesome. The Monitor is super light and adjustments are super easy to make. The dynamic contrast ratio makes the picture super sharp. A reviewer either below or in some other website mentioned that he/she was not able to adjust the sleep time. This is simple, just go to menu, management and then sleep timer and then choose sleep time according to your liking/requirement. I would have loved if they mentioned in the product description that the laptop/desktop should support the 1600 x 900 resolution to take advantage of the picture quality, else it appears a little blurred. It should be noted that this monitor does not have in-built speaker. All in all, great product, Super Recommend.

Very pleased with this monitor for the money. I had a very nice IBM which lasted for 8 years. The quality of this monitor compares to it.

Great monitor for the price! I got mine at wally world on sale for 100 bucks, And its worth it. I hooked up my ps3 with a hdmi-dvi connector and it works flawlessly in HD. This monitor does NOT support 1080i or P. But it does support 720P and below, but for this size monitor your not gonna notice the difference.Cosmetically this item seems kinda flimsy, but then again my LCD monitor was kinda old and heavy. So probably not used to it. The buttons are pretty firm and easy to push. Menus are easy also. As the other guy said the stand is kinda weird but i don't move my monitor a whole lot so i don't notice it much.The screen is very very bright, and shows very good colors. Like I'm watching my HDTV. its pretty sweet.Played COD on it and its really nice. Can see and notice everything, Its a great buy!

First, appreciate that the seller was able to ship to my PO box on Guam. The picture display is very sharp and bright. The only concern I have is the stand which is mostly made of plastic. I am afraid that it might break if I forget to hold the base down and slowly tilt the screen. as long as I am careful, it should be fine.

My first LED monitor. What a bargain! Absolutely perfect edge-to-edge! Sharp focus even with the smallest characters! Now I'm wishing I had bought the TV card for my computer!

This is a basic, solid, no-frills unit and it works well for me as a second display. I considered the S2031, a less expensive 20-inch HP monitor, but it looked too cheap and spartan. The 2011x has only VGA and DVI connections but that was fine with me. Again, this is a secondary monitor used in conjunction with a bigger main display. Color and brightness are very good.All in all, this product has been great for me, although the power button is a little tricky, which other reviewers have noted.

I wasn't looking to be blown away, I just wanted good quality, sleek, lite, reasonaby attractive and easy (no I am not referring to my taste in wemen, although....) Anyway, I digress, I have had the monitor for a few months now and the image quality is good, it seems to be well built and I have experienced no issues or glitches to date, it does everything I wanted it for. Actually, now that I think about it, these are the same qualities that I like in my..... nevermind.

Great value. Limited to only vga or dvi input but great for the price. Clear and bright the setting are very basic but you can get a very clear picture. The power saver puts monitor to sleep when there is no input. I actually bought two of these to run dual monitors.

Had an acer lcd 19 inch widescreen that I bought in 07 burn out its capacitors in 2011 so I bought this led screen and couldn't be happier. It looks great, and even set on low levels of lighting it is still vivid and crisp in appearance. I have not had any problems at all with this and recommend it to anyone. If I have problems I will update this review.

This screen was a gift for a friend and he loves it. It's light weight and yet it delivers a wide screen view without taking up too much room. I have purchase 2 of these in a month.

I purchased this for my son who is in college. He connects it to his laptop for a 2nd screen. It is great for text, movies and gaming. Really has a nice screen. It arrived quickly as well. Some may not like it is not 1080p but at this size your eyes cannot see a difference.

This was a Christmas gift for my son who is a college computer science major and who also plays online video games. He is very happy with the monitor and especially likes the LED lighting. The graphics are great! I plan to also get this model for myself in the near future. I paid only $109 during Christmas week last year, but $115 is not bad either.

I have always trusted the HP brand over any other brand in the computer area. This monitor impresses. It is an amazing value. It is absolutely stunning. This was an upgrade over a 2 year old 17' HP monitor. The only reason I wanted an upgrade was just because I wanted a bigger resolution. The 1600 x 900 is the perfect resolution IMO. Anyway I doubt I'll have to buy a warranty because my old 17' worked completely fine. You can trust HP. LED is nice too, I can get comfortable with the whole new generation going into LED instead of LCD. Driver was fast install, had the auto calibrate screen on from the disk for a bit and pressed the auto button the monitor and it automatically adjusted and that's all that is needed to do. The ONLY downfall of this monitor is the limited customization options (contrast, brightness, etc.) It isn't too limited, but it also isn't that expanded. Either way I am a happy customer. I recommend this product.Point is.. at the price this is an excellent monitor. You just can't beat it. Best bang for your buck. I got mine at my local walmart for $129.
