This screen is not as HD as other screens out there, but it gets the job done well. I have no problems with it (yet).

Product shipped in a timely fashion, arrived safely and well packaged. It easily adapted to my operating system, and displays beautifully. The only qualm I had was a single pixel burnt out in the top left corner, but other than that it is a fantastic screen!

i bought this thinking it would be great for xbox and pc gaming but when i got it the lack of 1080p really ruined it for me. if your into gaming at 1080p this monitor isnt for you, even with that said it is a great looking monitor its just really annoying because the xbox does not have an aspect ration for this so every time you'll get a notification telling you to switch it to 16:9

I bought this monitor to use as an external monitor with my Macbook Pro. It works great, nice size and good display. It's thin as well so it doesn't take up much vertical space on my desk. I don't know a lot about displays so I will stay away from the technical aspects of screen resolution, color, etc. It seems fine. It's bright. It's clear. It was easy to set the screen resolution for my mac, etc. The thing I really like about this monitor is the ability to adjust the height and tilt of the screen. That makes it easy to place the monitor exactly where you want and in a position that is best for viewing, working, etc. The one thing that I don't like is that the DVI cable doesn't connect properly. The screws are not long enough to tighten the cable into place. This is true both of the DVI cable that came with the monitor and the one I ordered that is compatible with my Mac. Either I am fitting it incorrectly or the DVI port is a bit off. This isn't a big deal if you don't plan to move the monitor around much but if you do, then it would be a good idea to have a cable that fits securely. Overall, a basic monitor for a good price. It does the job.

I wanted a monitor to hook up to my laptop to be able to work on two screens for school. This monitor was perfect for that and it exceeded my expectations.It has really clear picture and is built well and for the price it can not be beat. I would recommend this monitor to anyone!

In any review, I am sure that a reader wonders, "How did you arrive at the decision to buy specifically,an HP monitor?" The way I went about it was to observe what monitors other users are using. Since I help a lot of people with their computers, I had the opportunity to sit in front of a lot of monitors, and hence, I noticed that the HP monitors had the best picture. So I finally tore myself away from the old postage size monitor I was using and bought my HP monitor. And being a born again cheapskate (this is a confession)I used credit card rewards money that had accumulated. Now, in the sunset of my life of 94 years, I can really enjoy the absolutely beautiful flowers in a Power Point Show while listening to Sonata di Toselli. Frank.

You would be hard pressed to find a betterscreen for the money. I'm very picky aboutwhat I'm viewing, and I have no issues withthis monitor (for the price).

Bought for my father as a Xmas present. He still had the thick, old CRT screen that took up half his desk. He can't believe how much room he has now. Great screen/graphics/clarity.

I think this is a outstanding monitor for the price. The LED back lighting gives it a brilliant screen even using the VGA (Analog) input. I would suggest to anyone thinking about buying a new monitor, that you need to see if your computer will give you the 1600 X 900 resolution that you will need in order for everything looking correct on the screen. It will not do high def, but it has a digital input as well as a VGA input and the cables are included!

Great product for a great price. I bought it last month and have had no problems. I haven't tried playing HD movies yet but I have found no problems with graphics on the internet or movies / programs on my computer.

I just received this beauty about 30 minutes ago. Decent screen for the price! Worth the buy. I'll update once I hook it up to my PC. Right now I'm just testing it out with my netbook.Update 11-14-12I'm not sure if it's the screen itself but from time to time I notice about 4 ghostly horizontal lines on the monitor. I tried figuring out what they were but it could be my computer's graphics card. Hopefully it's not the monitor.Update 12-09-12Yeah it was the monitor itself. Pretty disappointed.

I play [...] Quake, and I have high expectations for a monitor, I was using a CRT Samsung SyncMaster 997df which I liked a lot, I had a lot of hesitation on moving to an lcd because of the 60hz refresh rate. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this monitor's performance in game, naturally some of the experience is not as good as having 120hz but it was not as bad as I thought since this monitor has 5ms response time from the CRT having 0 response time. The color is rich and the monitor is very bright. LED backlight is good. For the price of this monitor I will not complain. I would like to see HP come out with an led backlit lcd monitor that has 120hz refresh rate. I am not sad that I bought this monitor. The monitor is light light enough where I move my arms on my desktop the monitor flops a bit but the stand is sturdy enough. I save a lot of room on my desktop too, and this has a dvi plug as well as vga too. For the $109.00 I spent on this including the shipping I am really happy. Money is tight for me so I am happy I got a monitor like this that plays movies and games good for a low price. The 1600x900 native resolution is ok for me, the model above this I think has 1900 native, but the 1600x900 is good for me I have no issues with that, some others may want more.

I've had this monitor in use now for about three months and so far it's working fine. Nice sharp, clear images and just the right size for me.
