I had a lot of trepidation about buying a low(er) cost off shore set of squares, but I couldn't afford a known high quality brand. My thinking was that it was Grizzly, which is a well known US organization, and that they're product review/quality assessment of suppliers would be fairly high.
I was wrong.
You can see in the photos that they are not square, even to each other. Also not square to a block. What you don't see is the edges. On two of the squares, the edges are not smooth, as if they were pressed in too hard or a shear wasn't sharp and beaded up the edge.
Was going to use these for light gunsmithing, misc, mechanical and tool setup. Waiting on a response from my return request.

I bought these for my desktop CNC mill, so they need to be precise (but not ultra-precise).
The most important thing? Square! Don't know how well they meet the spec but when nested there are no discernable gaps. (compare to the similarly priced Omex set, which had a 1/16" out of square gap!)
Cons:
Thought they were stainless because I don't want to maintain rust-able equipment.
However, they came in oily bags, so definitely no stainless.
One large rather heavy corrosion patch on the largest square. Not a deal killer since it can be removed and is not on a critical surface. (in fact the rusty patch was inside the oily bag so must have been there before it was bagged. How lazy!)
No case, but no biggy either. Cases take up space.

If you are a machinist and try to use these for your job you will get fired because they aren't SQUARE. I checked the set against itself so..... Two had significant burrs and banged up outer edges. There was corrosion on most of them, scratches and so much unevenly distributed oil that it made little spots of crud start to collect. The packaging, though secure and safe, was a nightmare to open. Spend a little bit more(or even less!) and get a set better than these. These look and function like they came significantly used already by someone who didn't take care of them.

The items arrived in a timely manner. As stated by another reviewer these squares are not stainless steel. It doesn't bother me at all. I just put a light coat of paste wax on them and they won't rust. In fact I prefer they not be stainless so that I can use magnets to hold shop made marking jigs to the squares.
I checked them for squareness and they are all OK. I'm not saying they are perfect, but they aren't alleged to be. If I need a square with .0005 TIR over the length of the blade then I will shop for a square with that certification, and expect to pay much more for 1 square than the cost of the price of these 4. Contrary to one reviewers statement, they are not "Toys", and they are pretty dang square. If you are a woodworker as, I am, these will work great. Any amount of run-out they have is less than the amount of wood movement that will occur. If you really need a super precise square, shop for a square that has a guarantee or certification of accuracy.

Was a little surprised at how small these were, but that’s my fault for not fully reading the description. They’re accurate enough for anything I do in my garage workshop and even the smaller ones are good squaring up table/miter saw blades and came in handy when making jewelry boxes for my wife and daughter. I’d guess if you’re into higher end woodworking, furniture making or something that requires high precision accuracy you’d want Starett, but for weekend hobbyists these are pretty darn good.

The set is accurate enough for anyone doing woodworking and or setting up woodworking machines like table saws, miter saw, or any other Woodworking tool that requires precision setup.
Each square is packed in a bag with oil in it to prevent rust. And as stated in other reviews, these are NOT stainless, rather sturdy steal. That means you might take a little extra care with them but it also means you can store them on a magnetic strip.

The edge on the biggest square is bent (or not straight) horizontally, but vertically it's still straight.
It's like having a ruler that has straight edges but was visibly bent if you lay it flat on the desk, if that makes sense.
So technically it serves its purpose of being vertically straight and having square angles, but the bent edge makes it look bad.

This is the perfect set for me. All metal machinist squares. This is a handy set to have around. Each square is finely ground stainless steel. All have common beam and blade widths and thicknesses which will allow them to be used in combination. 2", 3", 4" & 6" squares.

These are nice quality and accurately square as far as I can tell.
I only deducted a star because the size range should be a little larger. The biggest is only 6 inches. I don't really need 4 squares ranging 2-6 inches, however that is my fault for not checking the sizes before I bought. I assumed I would be getting a range of smallish sizes, but didn't figure on them all being so tiny.
The smallest is great for keeping in my apron pocket and making cut marks on wood. Doesn't take up much space and is really handy to make a nice straight cut line.

Bought these about 7 years ago (cheaper then!) and have been using them in my woodworking. I've checked their squareness against other instruments like the Woodpeckers 1281 and these squares are dead-on. After all these years I have noticed some tarnishing (seen in the picture) but not enough to affect their utility.

New to woodworking, I found several influences using squares like these, and decided they would be easier to use than the combination square I was using.
They all arrived perfectly square, though slightly magnetic. The variations in size make having the correct size more likely, and the price is competitive for others that I don't see how they could offer a superior product.

Not square. Easy as that. The Grizzly logo or any markings are also completely absent so I wonder if they are actually Grizzly. I doubt it. They were also bent, damaged, and out of square with each other. To put it simply, these are useless.

I have not used these yet but that is not the squares fault. I got these specifically for woodworking and for checking small detail work but I have not started that process yet as I am still putting my woodworking shop together. They come in individual white boxes and they are each wrapped in plastic cause they are coated in a thin film of oil to help protect them for corrosion.

They came square but one of them had a twist in it. Also, I don't believe these are stainless. They rusted almost over night and they are magnetic. I know there are magnetic stainless, but these rust as if they are standard carbon steel.
