Das 812 ist sehr gut und kann umfangreich administriert werden, daher für einen Laien oder Neuling in meinen Augen zu schwer. Es findet sich auch keinerlei Anleitung im Lieferumfang.
Ich habe es mit einem Sipgate-Account im Einsatz, die grundsätzlichen Einstellungen kann man dort online erfahren.
Sogar individuell für seinen eigenen Account mit Angabe aller entsprechend einzutragenden Informationen
Das Feintuning der 812 wie zum Beispiel die Änderungen der Belegung der Töne muss man hier in den Rezensionen oder im Internet suchen.
Ich ergänze hierzu da noch den Ringback Tone f1=425,f2=425,c=1000/4000;
Der Ton , den man hört wenn man jemanden anruft und es auf der andren Seite klingelt.
Ich nehme keinen Punktabzug für die Oberfläche vor, weil das reine Geschmacksache ist und der Funktionalität des Gerätes keinerlei Abbruch tut.

I upgraded from my old Cisco SPA122
This Grandstream is better. Now I can use the secure calling feature with VoIP.ms, There wasn't any option on the SPA122 to do it.
The faxing works perfectly on it. The calls are clear as well.
I never tried Grandstream products before... but I am glad I got it. It is easier to configure and works better.
I would buy another one if needed.

Das Gerät an sich ist gut verarbeitet. Leider fehlt eine vernünftige Bedienungsanleitung, daher auch nur 2 Sterne für die Installation. Doch dank der genauen Beschreibung von Herrn Müller, konnte auch ich als Leihe das Gerät installieren und programmieren. Jetzt verrichtet es seinen Dienst. Es folgt auf ein DECT Gerät der Firma Wantec, was von der Installation her wesentlich einfacher gestaltet war, da es über Funk arbeitet. Allerdings war dieses Gerät mal wieder defekt (in 5 Jahren das 4) und auch nicht mehr zeitnah lieferbar.
Der Grandstream kam schon einen Tag früher als angekündigt und ist auch recht ansehnlich. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich natürlich noch nicht wirklich Auskunft geben, da er erst seit heute in Betrieb ist.
Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen die Anleitung zur Einrichtung von Herrn Müller zu nutzen, dann funktioniert auch alles.....

Great product. We have been using the HT702 for years, but decided to get another in prep of sending a kid off to university. I saw that the HT812 has a second Ethernet port so this will be useful for connecting in a location without needing use a separate switch for network connections. It supports everything the 702 did, and a bit more. We are very pleased.

Iniziamo con il dire che le porte FXS e relativi profili sono 2.
Per il resto un buon prodotto veloce nella composizione e nella risposta del Voip, e buona qualità audio.
Uso da sempre i prodotti Grandstream per interfacciarmi con i telefoni tradizionali e non ho mai avuto problemi.
La differenza fondamentale con il 802 è solo che l' 812 ha 2 porte ethernet e può funzionare anche da router e assegnare IP via DHCP.
Logicamente il firmware è più completo, infatti lo per poco più di 7 Euro di differenza inutile inviarlo indietro per un 802 che per me già sarebbe sufficiente.
Per avere 4 porte FXS bisogna andare sull' 814, oppure, logicamente 2 ht802.

Had to go download a few PDFs off their website for instructions how to set it up, but it's been running strong ever since. It's been 3 months, and it's been making VoIP calls without any lag, and no downtime so far.

Works perfect, properly supports all of the Enterprise CO Features you might want like battery reversal, stuttertone, Caller ID.

Der Brandstream ist sehr gut. 2 Sterne Abzug, da die Bedien- Oberfläche wie aus den 80ern ist und das Gerät auch mehr für den Amerikanischen Markt bestimmt ist. In Deutschland müssen Anpassungen vorgenommen werden, was nicht jedem Laien gelingen wird.

No problems so far. Looks like a quality product and working fine so far. The only thing I did not like is that it arrived in plain white box with no guide or instructions of any kind. I had no problems finding it online, but still.. Almost feels like a refurbished item.

This device only came with a warranty card and no instructions, you need to search the internet to get the configuration guide. The Grandstream adapter is recommended for technically-savvy users. It is only as good as the support you get from your service provider. Make sure they have a guide specific to the Grandstream to configure and register this adapter.

Great sound quality. Small and looks nice. A bit difficult to configure but you can easily find basic config on the web. I would buy again.

Very good quality router. But be prepare to do a little research to be able to use it as it's complicated to configure. The company is actively publishing new version of firmware.

Used a SPA 122 for more than a decade but changed to this one for two reasons: IPv6 capable and a 1000 mbit ethernet port. Otherwise no advantages for my simple ATA applications. Works well so far, no complaints.

We use this constantly with no issues - If you have a home office I would recommend considering the 4 port model for increased flexibility.

Mit dem Gateway ist einiges möglich, allerdings muss man durch das in meinen Augen sehr veraltete und unnötig komplizierte User Interface genau wissen, wie man was einstellt und sich mit dem Thema auseinandersetzen.
