Makes watering a snap!
If you have ever grumbled about having to unscrew a hose or watering nozzle, get these! You just click them easily together, then un click to change to another one. Try it. I love them, and had forgotten how well they work when they were mentioned at an organic gardening workshop I attended at UCSC Farm & Garden.

Plastic through and through and light as feather so, that is cause for concern. Quite pricey but has a dollar store feel and worried it will shatter if dropped on garage floor. All that being said, I love the way it performs and give it a generous 4 stars on that alone. I do worry about how well it will hold up over time but like the results in the meantime. Says "GERMANY" on the end. Hmmm. Buy with confidence unless the plastic construction bothers you.

Better than most
The best coverage of any sprinkler I have owned (and that's quite a few, I seem to break them every few years). If you are running off of well water without a filtration system then expect the jets to clog up every so often. I use a dental pick to clear them. The adjustment for watering area works fine and it gives fairly even coverage, but it's a little less at the corners as with all oscillating sprinklers. And to the guy who couldn't drag it across his yard - I don't think the manufacturer claims that it is designed to drag around by the hose. That being said I can flip it over from 30 feet by flicking the hose and drag it anyway :)

First let me say I have and have in the past had a lot of different sprinklers.
Tried the Gardena in hopes the extra money meant a longer lasting sprinkler.
First one quite oscillating the second or third time I used it. I got another one and tried to use it this morning. Quite oscillating within a few minutes.
Not a water problem, this house has excellent public water.
Maybe a bad batch of sprinklers, but I won't be trying a third one. ymmv of course.

More than enough for my tiny yard
Well I wasn't expecting it to be a light piece of plastic, but this is also my first water sprinkle.. this is my first lawn of my first house! Lol. But it covers way more area than I was expecting.

Brilliant and simple system
This is a fabulous system. I have been using Gardena products for years. All my hoses and attachments have them. It makes everything so easy to assemble and disassemble. They are durable-I am still using my first connectors from 15 years ago, and they fit perfectly with the new ones. The only things I have replaced in some fittings have been the flat rubber gaskets. That's it. Brilliant and simple.

Smooth, quite, consistent ... but smaller area spread than expected.
I like this as I typically use rotating sprinklers around the home for watering. I bought this due to good reviews and all in all it is a very nice product. The only complaint I have is that I have well water with usually good pressure and the days that I ran this sprinkler I was surprised at how much smaller the coverage was than my previous one from Gilmour. They were roughly the same in design and reported coverage area yet the Gilmour only had to be moved 6 times for full front yard coverage and this one eight times. This product is quiet, smooth and very consistent but required more movements to cover my yard. If you have a smaller space, this may be perfect. For me, I just have gone with one a bit higher. I would buy this product again based on it's performance so far.

Works well, but plastic is subject to breakage
These work well, however i've had a couple break on me since they are made of plastic. In one case I had them hooked up to a power washer. I yanked on the hose at an angle with a little too much force and it snapped in two. Another one I accidentally stepped on and it broke too. Next time I'll probably look for something made of metal.

It is a great sprinkler
We have lots of Gardena products. They all last many years, some are 25 + years old and function like new. Have easy to connect couplings and don't leak. This sprinkler is working like a charme. covering a large area, is simple to adjust. Great product would buy it again.

Two of the holes do not spray out water since I got it. I followed the directions to clean it out, but they still will not unclog. Frustrating.

Very happy - they are solid and work great.
These connectors are solid and work great. I can pop off the spray nozzle and then pop on the sprinkler in seconds. Just get them nice and tight so they don't leak. And once you pop off a nozzle, the hose doesn't lose any water. It's got a stopper build in...something I wasn't sure about till I used them.
Highly recommended.

So far I like it

This thing is so incredibly easy to adjust! Not throwing the water as far as my previous old sprinkler, but gets the job done. I think that's the quick connect reducing the water a little bit. One nozzle is not really spraying right out of the box, so I have to see if I can clear that. Smaller spray area and one nozzle took off one star. Otherwise I like and time will tell.

Great product, but too expensive for being plastic and disposable.
After using this once awesome sprinkler for 2 years in Utah, the thing has developed several cracks in various places, and is falling apart. It's made of lousy disposable plastic.
Original review: Great product, though I wish the frame was made of metal, instead of plastic. If Gardena made a metal framed oscillating sprinkler, I'd buy that in a second.

works like a charm
These function well and don't leak. If you have high water pressure, attaching a sprinkler to the hose after the water is on does require a bit of force. A little practice makes perfect. I have broken one of the "male" pieces by stepping on a spray nozzle that wasn't connected to the hose. That was a bit surprising, but then again, it was on the sidewalk, and even if the part were brass I probably would have bent it and ruined it. If you use the quick-release at the spigot end, I wouldn't recommend tugging hard on your hose, either. That could stress the plastic too much or break it, and/or damage your pipes.

WORKS WITH LOW PRESSURE
purchased this item on February 19, 2015, and it still works and looks like I just took it out of the box. We have very low water pressure on a gravity feed system of about 12 psi. And this sprinkler puts out the water with out a hitch.

Gardenia's garden hose connector set is super - once installed, I can quickly connect & reconnect different garden/hose attachments. It saves me a lot of time and effort. I've had Gardenia's product since the late 1990's, even though its plastic, it still works (unless you run over it with your car). I have purchased connector imitations - they do not measure up to Gardena's quality and workmanship.

Perfect sprinkler!
I bought 2 of these to use until I can afford a sprinkler system. They cover a huge area and I only have to move them 4 times to cover my whole yard front and back. My previous sprinkler (also oscillating) did not have even close to the same range, and stopped working within a few months. These sprinklers are plastic so I worried a bit about the durability but so far they've held up very well!
