So glad I found these (again)!
I had these ages ago but the local stores stopped carrying them...I had several years of "forgetting" that I could look for them online. The ones in the store are AWFUL - ACE, OSH, Lowes...whatever...HORRIBLE. These are THE best. I ended up with 4 starter kits. Great. The BF loves them too.

pretty good sprinkler.
Good sprinkler, but spend the extra and get the fully functional one. I tried this one to save some money, but bought the bigger one later. I am much happier with it.

When it works it's great. But they don't last
I really liked this sprinkler at first. I've bought 3 of them over the past few years. Replaced one broken one and had two more for front and back so I could water at the same time. They all got stuck however within a month or two of their purchase. All are made of junky plastic. It is a nice product in theory but they need to use better components.

A must have
If you have ever used the Gardena accessories or lawn supplies know that you must have the quick connection kit. It makes swapping out hoses and accessories a breeze. Made to last, however they also have a metal kit which would possibly hold up longer than the plastic alternatives but I haven't had any problems yet. Great buy and I highly recommend the Gardena line to any green thumb.

I want to marry it and have its baby.
These cost twice as much as all the other metal varieties, and I've owned them all, but last at least three times as long. Also somehow has a much larger spray pattern. Finer spray, too, so super important not to use in the middle of the day or more water will evaporate before it waters your plants.

A very good sprinkler for using plastic materials
A very good sprinkler for using plastic materials. Spent all fall using this off of a well in the country to grow grass in some large areas. I am never happy with a sprinkler but this one is designed simply and has minimal weak points compared to many in this price range.

Great for my low-pressure well
I was unable to water my lawn with other sprinklers due to low water pressure. This sprinkler works great for me. Love the fact that I can adjust (easily) the area I want to water. Very well constructed, but spray holes do plug up. Came with apparatus to clean the plugged holes, but it is flimsy plastic and does not work--found a large sewing needle worked better. Covers large area.

Worked great last summer
Bought this one because it would cover the area I wanted to water in one swipe. The area they are rated to cover seems to be a little fictitious. Maybe it is just the water pressure here but I went a little larger based on other reviews and happy I did. Seems like it should be good to go for another season.

It is still working great. I leave it outside all summer also.

Good unit
Like all Gardena products this works quite well. I have a small yard, a townhouse and the spray size easily adjusts to the small area.

Easy to adjust!
I work as a gardener and have found this to be the best oscillating sprinkler, even for hard, rusty water. I do clean it occasionally with rust out.

Gardena 34000 Oscilllating Sprinkler
Over the years, I have probably purchased a dozen sprinklers. All either clog up or stop working completely. The Gardena works great and covers a much larger area. I love the fact that I don't have to keep moving it when trying to water the gardens. This is a little more expensive, but it seems well worth the price.

Sometimes simple is better.
5 stars for the product, minus 1 because it is rather pricy. But it has a smooth operation that covers a large area and it moves at a slow pace for better saturation of soil. Adjusts easily to change watering pattern. Sometimes simple is better. Have not had it that long so I don't how long it will last. Seems well built.

Great sprinkler
Don't let the plastic construction fool you. This sprinkler is solid. It can easily withstand the triple digit summers of South Texas. Multiple settings let you evenly cover any area up to 3900 square feet. The quick connector is also super convenient. I've been using mine since last summer with no leaks, clogs, or degradation of performance.

Works well just wish it had a timer
I should have read the product description more closely as this does not come with a timer. I had purchased something similar with a timer that would shut off the flow of water after up to 75 min. Great device for the absent minder. This Gardena is all plastic but seems to work well, has adequate adjustments and provides an even spray.

love it. best water sprinkler yet
I almost didn't buy this item due to price but glad I did. very good quality. great coverage of watering area. the fast connect thingy that allows water hose to connect in three seconds is great. also the wide base is great as this keeps it from tiping over like cheaper models. highly recommend!!!

Gardena 34000 Comfort is the Best.
What is sad is I have bought for 40 years other Oscillating Sprinklers by Gilmour and others and thought there were no others any better. I must tell you this sprinkler has great coverage but more important is the oscillation works at any water pressure. It may be high impact plastic but don't let that fool you. This sprinkler is the Best. After that I bought another Gardena 1973 which also has adjustable width.

I had a Gardena sprinkler for years and finally had to replace it. I chose this one because the old one lasted so long. This one is larger, although I still need to move it twice to cover my entire garden but it works well.

At Last, a good oscillating sprinkler
I've gone through a number of oscillating sprinklers over the years and in the last few years my disappointment with each new sprinkler has increased exponentially. Hating the sprinkler shouldn't be one of the most intense feelings one share's with one's spouse, but so it had become. Sprinklers, for reasons that defied me, became increasingly difficult to use and malfunctioned almost immediately. In desperation I thought of abandoning the oscillating sprinkler, but couldn't do so because I remembered it fondly as one of the technological advances of my glory years, the 1950's. Then this sprinkler arrived. It's insanely simple to use and works like a charm. The pleasure of having such a sprinkler, even initially, was worth the price. It restored my faith in human ingenuity and confirmed my belief that not everything needs to be rocket science.
