Great product
Great product that replaces those bulky tap adapters that always slide off. This thing is great. Simply remove the end of the tap where the aerator screws on, screw on the supplied tap end and when required simply push on and lock the new tap adaptor. No need to keep undoing and replacing the tap end (aerator), i leave ours permanently attached, its unobtrusive and ready for when the paddling pool need topping up with warm water.

Very easy to use
Great item it's worth the extra few pounds compared to the one that go over the tap and tightened with a jubilee clip or the ones that screw tight to the tap (I've tried them ) I highly recommend this it seems well made and only took me a few minutes to fit.

Fitted in two minutes, really solid and does the job well. Got this to add some hot water to the kids paddle pool so they can stay in a bit longer. The fitting that’s left when not in use looks good enough to leave. Built in aerator is also a bonus.

Mounting bracket not included
Doesn’t come with mounting bracket whe;the body has moulding clearly for a mounting bracket similar to the hozelock counterpart. Bracket should be inlduded to take pressure off connections and make connecting less strenuous this item or it just have to lie on a table or the ground or suspended midair which would be odd. Also the main water input threads leak needing tape to seal it. Over all wish had chosen the solid cast item not the gardena

An accurate, compact water meter!
A very handy gadget, it is small enough to be inserted between your hose and spray attachment, which enables read-out of water usage as you water. It seems to be waterproof (the battery compartment is a clever design which means that water would have to get past a seal and travel upwards into a chamber with only one opening), it works with flow in either direction, and I have tested its accuracy and found the error in volume measurement to be less than 2% over a range of total volumes and flow rates.
I’m just a bit puzzled as to why it needs a battery at all, rather than generating the tiny amount of power it needs from the rotation of the impeller!

Good value for money
It is easy to install and works well, not leaking at all even under max pressure. I love that you don't need to unscrew the adaptor to use the tap.
The plastic connector with the lock feels strong for now, but I am a bit concerned the part that slides may break when the plastic is old. Time will tell. 5 stars for now.
The spanner is a regular metric 22, so you don't really need to keep the plastic spanner if you already have one. You just know you won't find it anyway when you need it in a few years!

Lovely product
I spend a fortune on Amazon and never write reviews. However I wanted to make an exception for this as it solved a problem perfectly and inventively. My old tap connector had a jubilee clip and kept slipping off due to the water pressure. This works a treat - you just need to hope that your tap has one of the two supported thread specifications.

Didn't expect it to work well ! But I was wrong!
I purchased this to use at my sons as he has no outside tap, I was a little apprehensive as to how well it would work as it is quite inexpensive, but it was very easy to fit I used the plastic tool provided to fit it and it worked perfectly we used it to connect the jet was whilst cleaning his front and back gardens which are both paved Brilliant grat value for money I would recommend to my best friend. AS

No leaks
After struggling with a competitors products all of which seem to spring leaks, I saw the adverts for Gardena products. Thought I'd give them a try and, amazingly, they live up to their advertising hype. No leaks (so far). This latest piece of my watering equipment is easy to fix and appears really sturdy. Time will tell if its a good as they say but so fro its all good. I will gradually wean myself off the other stuff and on to Gardena to avoid the hassle and expense of replacing stuff each year

Well Designed
This is great-I’ve tried so many adapters and this one works in a completely different way. Your tap will have a filter on the end of it that unscrews, you then replace it with one of the metal adapters in the pack, push the plastic part of the adapter on firmly and close the lock.
You can leave the metal adapter permanently on your tap as it’s probably an improvement on what you’ve already got. Then in future just push the plastic adapter on. Only criticism is lack of instructions but I figured it out.

Perfect to attach tap to tabletop dishwasher fitting
I brought this to attach my tabletop dishwasher to my tap as I didn’t want to plumb in the dishwasher as I rent and would have to drill a hole into the Kitchen worktop, but was fed up with all the cheap pop fit tap adapters (which actually cost more than this) I wasn’t sure it would work, but it does and it’s great. I measured the size I needed to fit to my tap and the size I needed to attach into the dishwasher hose attachment and it’s perfect, don't leak or anything! It’s great quality (my kids won’t break this like the other adapters I have paid lots more money for) I’m Super happy with it.

No need for outside tap
Before I bought this product I was researching fitting an outside tap. Having to drill through my wall , cut into installed pipework and the worry of football damage and winter storms on the tap itself. Then came across this and for me its great. A simple undo of the end cap on the tap, fit the pieces together in seconds and then screw to my tap and done! connect my hose and within minutes I am cleaning my path and car. Superb little gadget and well worth the money. Saved in cost and time. GREAT!!

Perfect solution to connect your garden hose to a kitchen tap.
This was the perfect solution for me when connecting a hose to my kitchen tap in order to fill my children’s paddling pool. It was easy to fit and works perfectly in tandem with the expanding hose I recently bought. Useful for those who either do not have an outside tap (I have one but it doesn’t work) or those with younger children wishing to add warm water to a paddling pool.

Needs additional washer
Great idea as it could be left on and swapped when required.
However the part does not fit fully and leaks. I had to find a washer and that did the trick. Also the aerator makes the flow not smooth anymore, it alternates between normal and a spray. Not sure what this is due to as the washer is tightened. WOuld be well worth the money if these niggles were not there

Great product
Great product only negative comment would be the plastic spanner supplied wasn’t up to the job to remove my old fitting or secure the replacement to gain a seal. That being said I had a spanner to hand and I would give this ten stars never the less brilliant. For you guys will tropical fish also ideal to refill your tanks when you get use to mixer taps like I done for many of years breeding Malawi’s..

Good quality.
Great item with all the necessary equipment. Easy to fit. Shame I had to return this as my tap mouth was too small and water leaked everywhere. Have ordered a alternative which fitted better.

Great mixer tap connected
I got this to fill the paddling pool with hot water after my hose lock one which tightens up at the sides kept popping off under pressure. This works a treat!
The only thing in would say is not great is the plastic tool which cam be used to undo and tighten the bit which connects to the tap. Was fine for putting on but taking off the old one required a spanner as the plastic seemed to flex.
Inhave used this a few times and not had any leaks!

Perfect for mixer taps
I had tried two other tap connectors that didn't work at all or leaked. This one is perfect for hooked kitchen mixer taps. Simply unscrew the end of your current tap (spanner is included), screw in the supplied fixing (which can be left in permanently if required), and then connect the hose attachment. Fitted it without instructions in about 2 or 3 mins.

Brilliant piece of kit!!
Have tried a couple of different addaptors, having difficulty finding one that works 100% because of the shape of my mixer tap, it's a D shape. This works perfectly!...took a bit of practice fitting, but now it works like a dream....NO leakage. It also arrived in a very timely manner considering the lock down. VERY happy with my purchase

Solves an age old problem
If you need to connect a hose to a mixer tap this is definitely recommended.
It screws on to the end of the tap, and you get a tool to remove the original end of the tap and to tighten up the replacement. Then you just slot the adaptor on and slide the level to get it to lock into place.
No leaks, doesn't fall off - much better than anything else I've tried!

Fits perfectly on my Grohe mixer, so far so good
Just arrived and want sure if it'd fit my Grohe mixer tap but it did. Great that you can keep the adapter on fire when you need you attach a hose. Haven't put the water on yet but if any problem I'll edit this accordingly

Excellent Gardena Water Smart Flow Meter.
I had been looking for a little gadget for some time that would meter the tap water quantity when I was topping up our garden pond, and this fitted the bill just right.
The digital read out is nice and clear and can be changed from gallons to litres. It also computes the total quantity of water used over a season if required. This meter is very well made and comes highly recommended.

End your connection blues
This was the perfect solution to my problem of connecting a hose pipe to my mixer tap. I had tried several different types to overcome the problem and this one works. There is no loss of water pressure, easy to fit, easy connection to the hose, no leaks or water spraying from the tap, perfect 👌

Useful, accurate little garden gadget!
Great little gadget, just what I needed! To see how accurate this little thing is, I hooked it up to my garden hose a filled a 36l container and it was bang on. I purchased this to accurately measure the volume of my odd shaped koi pond, inc pipes and filters, so I'm confident this will do the job on the next water change.

Thoroughly impressed and it's great to be able to use a hosepipe
I don't have an outside tap but really wanted a hosepipe. Unfortunately all the taps in the house are too fancy to take those universal tap connectors you can get from the garden centre. The shape of the tap doesn't work at all. But this one is different. If your taps have screw in diffusers then this thing can probably fit. It replaces the tap's own diffuser and does make the tap look quite different. But it's OK because it works really well and allows me to use a hosepipe.

Fantastic for garden hose in kitchen
Fantastic attachment meant that I could use a garden hose without having to install and additional outdoor tap. I live in a new build house so the taps are just generic common kitchen taps, as long as your tap has the 2 flats on the end to unscrew the end off then this will work a treat

Leaks!
Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I can't share the views of others on here. Easy to install, materials look good quality, the problem is before I've even attached the hose adaptor the water leaks from the fitting, emitting a fine spray from where the permanent fixture meets the tap! I don't really want to get soaked every time I get a glass of water. Can't tell if the rubber flange is simply too thick that it's creating a gap/leak, but I'm going to need to seal it somehow (first attempts didn't work). It's a shame as otherwise would be ideal I think as the hose fitting itself is easy to install but in it's current state it's a bit useless, which is frustrating given the price.

Excellent - so easy and so tidy. Hot/warm water to your garden now possible!
This is one of the best finds and only wish I had found this year's earlier. Was so easy to fit to my kitchen mixer tap. And have used so many times now to fill my kids paddling pool with warm water (which is what I bought it for, to save my back with buckets of hot water and kettles!)

Great little water meter
This little device is great. Very easy to use. You just plug it into the hose either at the tap or at the delivery end of the hose and the little digital read out tells you exactly how many litres you are putting into your tank. This means that you can just fill enough for your immediate needs and do not have to drag arond a full tan of water or risk running out.

Very useful kit
Initially took me a bit of time to actually work out how it connects up as the instructions supplied are pretty poor but once I did it seems to fit to my tap well. Haven’t used it with a hose yet but I can already see this will make my life a lot easier in being able to get hot water into my kids paddling pool.

Very useful accessory, shame about the leak.
Like another reviewer I have one outlet permanently connected to an electronic water controller and the other has a short hose connected for filling watering cans. It works very well but lost a star because we bought two of these and the first had a persistent leak from the top until I added another rubber washer. The second worked perfectly straight out of the box.

Best item I have ever bought
Fantastic invention! Saves all the trips to the warm water tap when attempting to fill up the children’s paddling pool! We’ve also used to it with cold water to attach to the jet wash and it worked wonderfully, no leaks, super easy to install and remove. Best item I have ever bought!

Brilliantly made, good material with eyecatching colour contrast high grade plastic. Great Gardena quality.
Connectors work efficiently, no leaks. Opening closing buttons are effective. I am all praise and very happy with this purchase and will highly recommend.

great! Will save loads on heating the hot tub
Bought so that we could fill the hot tub with warm water. Husband was sure it wouldn't work on our kitchen tap as its a modern twisted chrome type.
He was wrong!

Unfortunately this did not fit because of the design of my tap. You could not screw it in tight enough to fit and it needed another 6-7mm to fit.
I was going to send it back but then looked on Amazon for an adapter to make it work and found this:

It works perfectly and extends it by around 17mm so it works perfectly.

Where has this been all my life!
I have struggled for years with various clip on, screw on hose connectors for my kitchen tap as I don't have an outside tap and am not able to install one. I bought this as a last resort and it is brilliant. It was very easy to install and works brilliantly with no leaks at all. Would highly recommend.

exceptional piece of equipment
very surprised at the amount of functions this actually does, ie;- lets you know water flow, total amount of water used etc. One observation of mine that would make this product even better, having an inbuilt temp gauge.

Saved me lots of money
Got this to help me clean my shower faster and I only have a rainfall shower... much cheaper than refurbishing the shower to add a removable head. Really easy to install and got a hose to attach to it so to be able to reach the shower.

It doesn’t leak!
Most tap connectors leak but we’ve finally found one that doesn’t! The bit that screws into the tap can be fiddly to get in but we’ve left it in place all the time and just connect the bulky grey bit when we need to connect the hose.

Quality of the product and ease of use
Great engineering works perfectly with my tap and saved having to install an outside tap..I run it straight from the kitchen tap one the insert was screwed in I left it there far better than the plastic one that was already in the tap and I just connect ..slide the slider and water the garden..

Used with Grohe BauEdge Kitchen Tap
This works perfectly for it's intended use, and is water tight enough that I can use the hosepipe gun to turn the water on and off. Easy to install and remove, doesn't leak at all, and is perfect for it's intended use of filling up the paddling pool.

Best designed hose connector for mixer taps
This was very easy to install. The actual plastic connector can be fiddly to line up so that it locks, but this is very minor issue. Does not leak at all, even when tap is fully open. I only notice the replacement tsp head because I know it's there, since else would think it's the original. Whilst I was hesitant to buy initially thinking it's a bit expensive, I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

Brilliant item
I bought the X HOSE, but it was sold with no fitting on the end to allow am spray to be attached. I nearly returned it, but decided to fin d the end attachment on line if possible. There it was on the Gardena web site!!!!!!! Fantastic, it fits my X Hose brilliantly and at such a tiny cost (£5.99). As i had looked in many garden centres etc with no success, I say "Thank goodness for Gardena") Delivery was also excellent, so no regrets at all. Thoroughly recommend to others
