Easy to put on and off when filling the pool
Well worth the money for anyone with kids and years of filling up pools still to go.
I’m just a bit puzzled as to why it needs a battery at all, rather than generating the tiny amount of power it needs from the rotation of the impeller!
The plastic connector with the lock feels strong for now, but I am a bit concerned the part that slides may break when the plastic is old. Time will tell. 5 stars for now.
The spanner is a regular metric 22, so you don't really need to keep the plastic spanner if you already have one. You just know you won't find it anyway when you need it in a few years!
Ripped open in excitement and tore through instructions.
Didn't matter as was REALLY simple.
Unscrew old tap tip
Screw on new adapter with aireater
Tighten with little tool
Push on hose adapter
Slide locking plate over
Done
No leaks at all and gave great pressure to use my pressure washer
You can leave the metal adapter permanently on your tap as it’s probably an improvement on what you’ve already got. Then in future just push the plastic adapter on. Only criticism is lack of instructions but I figured it out.
Thank you very much
Great price too
However the part does not fit fully and leaks. I had to find a washer and that did the trick. Also the aerator makes the flow not smooth anymore, it alternates between normal and a spray. Not sure what this is due to as the washer is tightened. WOuld be well worth the money if these niggles were not there
The only thing in would say is not great is the plastic tool which cam be used to undo and tighten the bit which connects to the tap. Was fine for putting on but taking off the old one required a spanner as the plastic seemed to flex.
Inhave used this a few times and not had any leaks!
It screws on to the end of the tap, and you get a tool to remove the original end of the tap and to tighten up the replacement. Then you just slot the adaptor on and slide the level to get it to lock into place.
No leaks, doesn't fall off - much better than anything else I've tried!
I forgot water on in the pond overnight, ergh. Reading in the morning was 40000L. Will wait for the bill :-(
The digital read out is nice and clear and can be changed from gallons to litres. It also computes the total quantity of water used over a season if required. This meter is very well made and comes highly recommended.
Connectors work efficiently, no leaks. Opening closing buttons are effective. I am all praise and very happy with this purchase and will highly recommend.
Only drawback it is at a premium price!
He was wrong!
Fitting instructions weren't very clear but I looked it up on YouTube
Works brilliant
Unfortunately this did not fit because of the design of my tap. You could not screw it in tight enough to fit and it needed another 6-7mm to fit.
I was going to send it back but then looked on Amazon for an adapter to make it work and found this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NWD0CJQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It works perfectly and extends it by around 17mm so it works perfectly.
Thought i would post this in case anyone else requires an adapter to make it all work.
Overall highly recommend
used it to fill swimming pool with warm water.
