Hands down the best sprayer I've owned.
No drips. Great pressure. The quick connect system works flawlessly.
Only 4 of the 7 options make sense to use, but those 4 are really great. Made in Germany, not China, noticeable quality in the part.
The dial on the back controls pressure, pretty sure I'll never need to use this. It was 1/2 turned down when I first got it, was initially underwhelmed, but figure that out and now actually pretty impressed.

Well built, great functionality
We forgot our older model of this version outside in the winter and of course it froze and broke. This replacement has some really nice improvements - easy adjustable water throughput, on-off through the handle (one hand operation) and overall a more sturdy construction (metal parts inside?). The different nozzles allow you to water anything from a mist for delicate flowers to cleaning the patio with the powerful single beam
We used it for several months now on a daily basis and I highly recommend it.

I love the utility of this sprayer but I wouldn't call ...
UPDATE... this sprayer leaks inside the handle enough to have a constant stream (not a drip or trickle) of water whenever in use. I can't repair it but am now stuck with the brand (like SO many others here) due to having so many other Gardena brand items. If you're uncertain, don't choose this brand as it doesn't last. Too bad really as I loved the design and function at first.
I love the utility of this sprayer but I wouldn't call it 'Metal' as it's mostly plastic so I'm not sure how long it will last. The big advantage is the on/off trigger has a 'stay on' function at half click. This makes is fast and easy to turn water on and off without fumbling for a side catch or lever... very well designed.

I purchased this one for a friend for Christmas 2017 because he liked mine that I purchased summer of 2017. I always drain my hoses and spray guns before pulling up in the shed. This Gardena spray gun started leaking last week(May 02, 2018); didn't last a year! Back top buying at big box stores! Can anyone recommend a good brand. Says metal but has a lot of plastic! Thanks.

Gardena is great.
Gardena really makes great products and the interconnecting system saves so much time because you do not have to continually screw and unscrew the end of the hose to take off sprayers or sprinkler heads. I have 10 of their sprinklers and three spray guns and they work so well. I created my own sprinkler system above ground using their products. They make watering easy and understand what gardeners need to properly care for plants.

Love Gardena products!
I love gardena products and how seamless they all work together. I have a couple gardena sprinklers and did not realize how awesome they are all together until I bought the sprayer. No more twisting and screwing. I put the converter on the nozzle and I can seamlessly pop off the hose and pop my hose on to my sprinkler...so on and so forth. The quality of the spray is great and has all the output options I could ever use.

Great idea. Terrible durability.
I like the Gardena system, but I have always had to buy a new spray gun every two years. Sadly, the one I have now only lasted six months. They start leaking so you get wet while using. My Gardena sprinklers have been durable, but the spray guns are a lot of money for something that doesn't last even one summer. Apparently I am too late to get a refund.

Easy to use
This is a great nozzle. I like the fact that you can change the different flows for whatever I’m watering. I’ve had this nozzle before and unfortunately my landscapers dropped it and destroyed it. Don’t get me wrong it’s pretty sturdy.

Let's hope it lasts longer than the big-box ones
At this price we're hoping it lasts longer than the ones available around here, which generally fail in a year or two. Too soon to tell. Designed for quick-connect; an adapter is included but makes it somewhat awkward.

Fell apart a year and a half later
Similar to another review this fell apart. Had it for a year and a half. Up to that point I was happy with it. Need to look into the warranty. I’m not entirely sure how it was set into place (looks like some type of black adhesive). Seems like a pretty poor design. Would have expected more for the price. Unfortunately I feel like Im locked into buying a replacement since I bought the Gardena retractable hose system which, aside from the quality of this head, is quite nice and convenient.
Update: I emailed their customer service and to their credit they sent me a replacement for free. So taking the rating up to 3 stars not 5 bc I still dont have confidence in the quality/design.

AWESOME Sprayer. Totally worth the investment.
I love this sprayer! Yeah, it was pricey, but it's awesome. All the Gardena stuff is pretty fantastic and SO easy to use. No more screwing and unscrewing different attachments. I LOVE the "trigger" click on and click off ability with the sprayer, and it's super easy to change between the many different spray settings. Very pleased with this purchase. I do keep it inside so it will stay nice over time though...but that's no longer difficult because of how easy it is to click in and out of the hose connector.

All Time Favorite Spray Gun
I absolutely love this spray gun. It has a spay and volume for everything I need to do in the garden as well as what I need for outside chores. It has a fairly powerful straight stream (depending on your water pressure) to a light mist and several adjustments in-between . I wasn't sure that I would like this because the design appeared a little bulky compared to what I've been used to, but I have found it to be very comfortable for my small hands.

Amazing Sprayer
This is well crafted, easy to use and well thought out. The settings are easy to switch between. and the click to keep to it on is much better than the metal triangle. We are replacing all of our sprayers with this. (No leaks, not fragile, and intuitive to use.)

Disappointing quality
Initially OK. Seemed well designed but disappointed in plastic materials. After normal use for one season, nozzle began to leak near hose fitting. Then part of the handle fell apart, easy to fix. Finally at the end of the second season, the first leak got a lot worse and a new much bigger leak started at the nozzle end. Unusable after two summers.

This is my third one of these handy spray guns. One in the front, one in the back and one on the deck. I keep finding uses for them so I just keep buying them. If one breaks, which has not happened so far, I will simply buy another one.

So far so good I got this to replace a plastic version of this nozzle. The plastic model failed after about 2 years of use. Just out of warranty. I tried to follow the manufacturers instruction to get it repaired but the link they had didn't work. I an only hope this one doesn't last just until the warranty runs out.

It leaks after less than a year
After a year, it started to leak from inside the handle. Too bad there is no option to buy replacement parts and fix this. For some strange reason Gardena lost it’s high quality design on this product

I love this hose nozzle
I love this hose nozzle. Especially the soft flow option. I have learnes you can NOT leave these out in the weather when it freezes..I have several versions of Gardena hose nozzles, and if they start to leak, (other than freezing and cracking) you can replace the o rings in most models.

Bought 2 and both failed eventually
Sprayer worked initially then each of the different sprays started failing and water was coming out the sides of the head. Now the trigger malfunctioned so water doesn't stop unless I shut off the spigot. The first one lasted one season and this one last 2 months with occasional use. Window for return is closed. I expect a lot more for $30+. Find another sprayer!!!!

Love the quick release and the performance of this spray ...
Love the quick release and the performance of this spray gun. Love the knob on the back to control the flow of water as well as the 7 different spray patterns. The handle lock works great as well. Would definitely recommend this product as well as the Gardena lawn sprinkler also with the quick release makes having just one hose a breeze to switch between watering the grass and potted plants.

The first one lasted a few months and then leaked all over the place. I contacted them and they sent me a new one. The same thing happened. Total garbage!

Spray gun will not switch off water flow after only a few weeks' use
After using this item only a few weeks, perhaps 3 times per week for 10 minutes each time, it failed. The spray gun if now permanently set in the ON position. Depressing the handle to lock/release ON/OFF no longer makes a difference, and the water continues to flow. This is particular disappointing since this item is only just over the 30 return window. I've purchased a number of Gardena spray guns over the past 15 years and have never had one fail when still new.

Another Gardena product in absolute quality. The spring loaded snap back trigger is great. The swivel attachment to the hose is an unexpected benefit, which makes washing your car effortless. The spray patterns are superior to any that I used. Finally, The force of water flow is stronger than others.

We have gotten rid of all our watering "paraphernalia" and replaced it all with Gardena brand items. We love this nozzle - it is so easy to slip onto your hose with the quick connect attachment. We purchased this and 5 Gardena sprinklers and are extremely happy with all of them.

Koi Pond Water Meter
So I brought this to use on my Koi pond so I know how much water I use with top up's but also when I need to change my Chlorine filters and so I know how many ltrs have passed through. I was sceptical that this product would do the trick, but it is spot on. I installed it inline after my auto top up valve so it didn't have water pressure constantly in it, and It works brilliantly. I tried to upload a photo, but it wouldn't upload, but if you wanted it would be easy to pipe this up solidly inline if you wanted as the incoming and outgoing hose connections unscrew and could easily be replaced with other connections. As well as total ltrs (can be converted to gals etc) used it also measures the actual flow rate thought the pipe, which makes it easy to set up pond equipment. Very pleased with it and a good price.

Good substitute for a garden tap
Our garden tap needed replacing - the flow had slowed to a dribble. But didn't want to get a plumber in during lockdown. We had a similar item that fastened to the tap with a jubilee clip, but that would loosed and spray the kitchen with water at random intervals, so I looked around for a replacement. This is so much easier - you replace the filter/spray/mesh end of the tap with the one included. Then when you need to attach a hose, the plastic part simply locks onto the tap, and the hose clips on to the plastic part. Easy. Best part is you can leave the chrome part in place all the time. No more jubilee clips and worrying about damaging the tap.

Great product worth every penny
So, I have a cold water tap in the garden. The kids wanted a swimming pool (inflatable one) which I bought.
Filling it with cold water was fine when it was really hot in the summer but I needed a way to get hot water into the pool to make it less freezing.
Did a lot of searching and came across this product. Because it came with a tool to loosen the fixture on the kitchen sink tap it was really easy to fit.
The tap still looks great as the fixture is chrome.
When fitting the pipe to the kitchen sink there are no drips (so it's a really good deal).
Effortless and really helpful.
It's something I'll be using as long as I have the same kitchen sink tap. Very good product and really practical.

It seems defective in the handle - where the control button to keep it on is a good idea - may not be engineered in a way to function for any length of time. I had to contact Amazon to return it - I am ordering another one - not sure if the style or the other metal one yet. I am already heavily invested into these with sprinklers that go with the quick change thingy - and they are not a universal size - so once the commitment is made; you are stuck with their items. If the new one lasts longer; I will change my review. I do love their sprinklers and have 2 of them.
Pros:

Very disappointed..
Broke in half after 9 months. It says on the packaging that there is a 2 year warranty, but there is no info on how to return. I looked online at the Gardena website, but they have no info there as well. I'm guessing that they hope you just get frustrated and walk away. Very disappointed......

Possibly the best spray gun for home use
If I could give this spray gun 10 stars I would. It is adjustable in all the right ways. Press the handle lever once to turn the water on, press it again to turn it off. The water flow is easy to adjust. The spray patterns are exactly the ones I need and are likewise easy to adjust. The whole unit is tough but lightweight. Using the Gardena connect system it swivels so you don't have to keep flipping the hose over. No leakage. My previous metal spray gun gave me tendonitis because it was heavy and did not swivel. This one is comfortable to use even when watering a long time. For my new landscape that's 90 minutes a day.

Products are not well made, both nozzles have broken in months. Warranty service is impossible. Buy something else.
Changing my review to 1 star because 0 is not an option. This nozzle broke after only months of use, water now leaks from inside the handle. Getting company to honor warranty is impossible, have been in communication for 3 months and i'm pretty certain they have no intentions of actually backing their products. I finally got word they would FedEx the new nozzle in 1-2 days MAX... this was 2 weeks ago. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON GARDENA THINKING YOU ARE PAYING FOR A SUPERIOR PRODUCT. THEY ARE JUNK AND 2 YEAR WARRANTY IS A JOKE!!!

They don't honor the warranty.
I hate to give this1-star, but here I am. I purchased this in April 2016 and LOVED it immediately. The quick-connect option is excellent, and the 7 different spray options work well, have excellent pressure, and don't leak/spray in random odd directions.. Well, until I went to use it this year and the water on/off won't work. Gardena claims this has a 2 year manufacturers warranty. However, I've reached out to Amazon and Gardena trying to get someone to either repair or replace my sprayer and it's crickets. The sprayer at this point is garbage and can't be used, and I feel somewhat trapped because I've purchased other Gardena products to work along side the easy-connect feature. Really disappointed.

Nice Quality Gardena With Many Features
I have an older Gardena that has held up well, but is just getting old. I decided to try this one that has more features than the last. First, the handle is different. You don't just hold it down, you squeeze to turn on and then squeeze to turn off. It latches so you don't need to hold handle down. This isn't bad, I just haven't decided if I like this mode of operation. I am very used to holding down for spray and releasing to stop. Next, is the adjustable nozzle that my last one did not have. There are may choices, the mist is very fine and gentle while at the other end, the pencil jet is quite strong. The sprayer feels quite hefty so I assume the insides are metal with a plastic exterior. Finally, the quick stop that attaches to the hose end has a locking feature where you rotate the outer sleeve about a 1/8th turn to lock and prevent accidental disconnect. I never had accidental disconnects with the old quick stops and I find myself constantly locking the quick-release and struggling to remove nozzle while water running before realizing... hey I locked it. Overall a quality products with features that I haven't decided whether I personally need or like. But, that's a personal problem, not a product fault.

I TRIED TO DO A WARRANTY CLAIM FROM INSTRUCTIONS ON THEIR WEBSITE AND IT APPEARS YOU HAVE TO SEND IT TO EUROPE - NO MORE GARDENA FOR ME !!!

Excellent all-around spray gun
Have used and loved Gardena products for decades and had several models of spray gun. This is BY FAR the best of all. Have used for two seasons, going to buy another. Very easy to change spray patterns and flow. Useful selection of patterns. Sometimes I lay it on the ground under trees and shrubs as a sprinkler. Worth the ~$35 paid, although now it's more than $10 higher. If this is your first such spray gun, remember that it's plastic -- store it out of the sun, don't let it fall on hard surfaces, and drain and store indoors for the winter.

Wouldn't recommend it for daily use based on my experience
Trigger lock mechanism broke in less than a year--jammed open, can't release the trigger. This spray gun might be OK for light duty use being made of plastic, but I wouldn't recommend it for daily use based on my experience. I just filled livestock water buckets with this nozzle and it was never dropped on hard surfaces, but the trigger lock is finicky. I have another one in another location (occasional garden use), but don't have high hopes of it lasting. Disappointing, considering how much this costs. Nice while it lasted.
Edit: The second one I had broke off at the neck when I dropped it, with the hose attached, on my lawn. So, both lasted less than a year. Plastic construction and UV exposure don't mix. It's a nicely-engineered spray gun, but needs to be made of metal (or more of it).

3 Gardena products leak within less than a year
I've purchased 2 of this model, and another one of the "comfort grip" nozzles with thumb control. Each has sprung leaks at different places within 1 year of use. I was pretty sold on the Gardena brand with the quick connectors making things easy, and the products work really well for the year or so they last, the features are great and the pressure is great. But Gardena products are double the price of almost every other product on the market and yet don't last as long. Not worth at all. It's sad I really want to like them, but I just can't.
