I honestly researched a lot before making my purchase - to be used in a small room with a big TV - and I was really divided between buying a 2.1 soundbar, a 2.1 system or a set of monitors.
Ultimately I decided to get these - let me break down my experience.
I've always had 5.1 systems, and was coming from a 2.1 - so I was really on the fence if I needed the subwoofer for such a small room. I love the bass, but honestly, my neighbour downstairs probably doesn't, so I started to gravitate towards these. I could've bought the 1850 which also has a sub out, but again, probably in the near future, this wouldn't matter.
In the end of the day, I got these, and for all my uses (Videogame, Movies and Music) This has been so far one of the best sounds I've had. I'm no audiophile, but I do like my sound clean! For the money, this is by far your best bet. I also don't miss my subwoofer from the previous setup, these do a decent job on a nice balanced bass.

With this product expectation was high.but it didn't meet the expectations. Sound quality was good and it captures every tiny sound but the richness of sound was low and bass is also not that exciting.also the price of 12.3k is little bit overpriced for 66watt rms 2ch speaker system.
Anyway I didn't feel that good about it so I returned the product.

Wanted some cheap bookshelf speakers to use for my computers, quality didn't _really_ matter. These appealed to me because of the multiple simultaneous inputs so I could plug multiple devices in at once and have them all playing at the same time without having to keep switching inputs back and forth.
But they actually sounded half decent. Like, surprisingly so. And they look pretty good too.

I really like these speakers for that thump in bass. Superb balance once you adjust Bass to negative 3 (-) using bass knob. This is the trick to reduce extra bass due to DSP. Now coming to most important par about sound quality:
1. The speakers have very sweet and warm sound which is not harsh to ears.
2. I was using Bose speakers (companion20). Though there was more clarity in them but issue was harsh sound in rock and metal songs due to absence of separate drivers for highs and mids. No doubt that there quality was superb but what you hear was not accurate in them. These edifiers are giving very accurate audio and best part is that they are a treat to the ears.
3. Though there is some muddiness in sound but I don't think that any speaker comes without flaws and most important thing I need to tell is that speakers are not just about clarity but things like soundstage, accurate audio, sweetness and how long can you listen to them. Edifiers R1700bt passes these tests.
4. there are better speakers available in the market but they cost a fortune. So, they are value for money.

Has a good sound quality and loudness to it but it all depends on the type of use. On full volume it has a loud bass and through in a small bed room or in a closed space like a tv lounge but if you are using it for some other purpose such as a to acheive home theatre experience or want a surround sound experience that the sound might fell less crisp and of lesser quality. Overall would recommend it for good throw, blue tooth usage and sound quality for a speaker in this price range.

Good:
+ Aesthetics: They look fantastic. I love the wood finish, and they're not to big.
+ Installation: Once I plugged in the cable into the correct port in my motherboard, and then tweaked the Sonic Sound Suite software they worked immediately and with no problems or fuss.
+ Sound Quality: Excellent. Considering the price and the 2 speaker range as opposed to 5.1 or 7.1 setups, I was very impressed with these. No regrets!
Bad:
- None. I'm completely satisfied with these speakers.

If you are a music lover and understand what good sound feels like, these are the speakers to go for (within a budget of 10K- 15K). Pure jewel.
Perfect treble and thumping bass. Mids could have been a bit better. The design is flawless and build is solid. The bass ports are front firing allowing them to be placed close to the walls. Stereo separation is beautiful.
If your focus is on Bass and Booms, this is not for you. There are much cheaper alternatives in the market for that.
This is for balanced and refined music. Go for it eyes closed if you are a classics/ rock/ metal/ blues lover.

My girlfriend and I are both audiophiles and I knew that these were gonna be rad and she was a bit skeptical. Within the first few moments of plugging theses puppies in her mind was changed. The quality is awesome for our home and even sounds good when doing gardening outside.The only con I can say is they don't really pump up our Vinyl very loud but think that's because our record player isn't really to hot to trot.

We've used these speakers for a while now to give it a solid review. Our family is one that enjoys listening to music all the time. These speakers connect well to Bluetooth, the sound quality is superb and can be heard though our entire house (sorry neighbours!) Excellent quality, and price! We would highly recommend these speakers to others.

Je cherchais des haut-parleurs Bluetooth pour éviter d’avoir à ouvrir la tv et le système de son pour une pièce un peu à part... le son est excellent et très puissant si nécessaire... pour le prix, ce sont. d’excecelent haut-parleur... pas besoin de sub woofer... se branche dans le mur donc pas de batteries...

These are high-quality good sounding speakers for a very good price. I was sceptical at first but then I received my speakers and was blown away by the amazing sound for the price paid. I use mine for TV sound and Alexa and Google Home assistants. I especially like it for my Apple TV and all the movies, streaming, and YouTube! I’m very happy with this purchase and very happy with the sound speakers put out.

This is a good product. It is made wiyh high standard and it's definitely worth trying them out. I still feel there is room for improvements in sound quality, perhaps a centimeter or two larger wooden frame would give it an edge or some slight adjustment s in desing. I think the price is on the upper end... When you lisen to these try sitting back a bit, with some distance between speakers and yourself and also between speakers them selves, sound gets more coherent and complete. Overall I would recommend these, I have respect for manufacturers who make effort to bring a good product to customers. You also get qnsmall remote controller which is very handy.

Honestly, the Crispness of these speakers isn't there like I hoped it would be for desktop speakers with a wooden frame. I've used portable blue tooth speakers with clearer crisper sound quality than what's offered with these. Apart from that there pretty ok; its nice to have the ability to hard connect as well which, and the remote control is a nice touch. Over all they're pretty ok, but I don't know if I'd go with this purchase again.

When they work they work fine, but trying to connect to my Apple at times is a matter of tapping your head rubbing your belly and stomping your feet. Sometimes the order is mixed. Eventually it will connect but only after your nerves are frayed.

My review is irrespective of it's price range. Speaker built quality is impressive. Design is also decent, compact and feels heavy. Coming to performance, I used BT throughout my usage, was not really happy because I was expecting much more after seeing all these great reviews. I always felt the mids are suppressed, though it's 2 way, there are speakers which delivers better mids with similar spec. The other problem was with bass, the tight punch was missing and woofer was more towards loose bass. I realized, the in built BT DAC/DSP is not that great which killed the experience. I used my external BT DAC and and it sounded much better. #EDIFIER I appreciate that you have done so much to deliver a premium product in an affordable price. Please think of upgrading BT board which is currently in production. For the price this is the best available in the market.

I've been using these beautiful speakers in my home studio for about 2 months now. Making pop, rock and dance songs, these speakers sound even better than they look. The treble and bass knobs are very expressive and offer a very wide range on either. The bass sounds great and cuts through nicely, even at low volume.
And the overall sound is crystal clear.
Aslo, they arrived very quickly and were a breeze to set up and operate. Everything works as it should.

Im direkten Vergleich hatte ich Bose Companion 50 und Logitech Z623 getestet.
• Man zahlt nur knapp die Hälfte für die Z623 und erhält dafür echt ziemlich viel Sound! Auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert und ausgezeichnet für ein etwas kleineres Budget.
• Bose Companion 50 ist Soundtechnisch etwas weiter als die Z623 und mag für viele auch optisch mehr hergeben.
Aber im Vergleich zu den genannten Lautsprechern ist Edifier S351DB einfach beiden weit voraus.
Höhen, Mitten und Tiefen haben alle einen unglaublichen Umfang und sind durchaus besser und ausgewogener.
Dazu kommen noch kleine Features wie, 5 Input Möglichkeiten, z.B. das integrierte Bluetooth, alle steuerbar über eine schlichte Fernbedienung und oder die H/M/T Regelung am Lautsprecher selber.
Optisch gefällt mir die S351 auch besser - ist jedoch immer Geschmackssache.
Kann dieses 2.1 Lautsprechersystem nur weiterempfehlen. Für den Preis momentan das Beste was man kriegen kann.

Leider ist es sehr schwer Herstellerinformationen über genau dieses Set zu bekommen. Dennoch habe ich eine Bestellung gewagt. Die Verarbeitung ist, entsprechend meiner durch zahlreiche Rezensionen zu Edifier Produkten genährten Erwartung, gut bis sehr gut. Die Lautsprecher wirken wertig. Durch das Gewicht und die rutschhemmenden "Füße" stehen sie fest und sicher. Überrascht war ich vom Gewicht der Satelliten und den beiden dicken und langen, aber völlig unterschiedlich aufgebauten und gestalteten Lautsprecherkabeln (inkl. Buchsen und Stecker) vom Sub zu den Satelliten.
Nicht nur der Farbe wegen, sondern auch auf Grund der schöneren Fernbedienung habe ich mich gegen das S350DB (braunes Dekor) und für das S351DB (schwarzes Dekor) entschieden. Aber die Fernbedienung ist für mich tatsächlich das Enttäuschendste am Produkt, was hier zu einem Punktabzug führt. Nicht nur, dass die Tasten keinen schönen Druckpunkt haben und schlecht zu lesen sind, vor allem die Tatsache, dass man sie immer zum Empfänger ausrichten muss, da ansonsten keine Signale übertragen werden, stellt eine inadequate Lösung gegenüber der sonstigen Qualtität dar.
Ich habe das Set nur für den PC gekauft und werde evtl. darüber ab und an mal das Smartphone als Quelle wiedergeben lassen. In einem Mietshaus betrieben wird es nicht einfach die Grenzen der Leistung dieses Sets auszureizen. Der bisherige Höreindruck war jedoch tadellos. Mit dem Sub muss ich aus o. g. Gründen Zurückhaltung üben, aber die Mitten und Höhen sind schon weit über dem Niveau herkömmlicher Systeme für 100 bis 150 €. Schade, dass bei diesem Set nicht wie beim S360DB der Sub über Bluetooth verbunden wird. Damit könnte man den relativ großen Sub unabhängig von Satelliten und PC irgendwo anders bzw. frei im Raum platzieren.

Bueno después de 20 días probando los altavoces, los devuelvo. El porque es fácil, la entrada de audio óptica,no admite el formato de audio de Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBO, etc... Es una pena que haya que bajar la calidad de audio para que se escuche... Ese es es el motivo, ahora bien por lo demás no puedo poner ninguna pega, el sonido es espectacular, los bajos son increíbles, muy muy buenos, la construcción de los altavoces es muy buena se nota la calidad según nos tocas y los puedes tener en la mano. Pero es una pena que hoy en día cuando se tira mucho de estas plataformas el formato de sonido no valga, cuando uno compra estos productos es para poder disfrutarlos durante años, y ahora mismo están obsoletos.
El bluetooth es magnífico, muy rapido y muy buen sonido.
Debo de decir que el producto era reacondicionado, el cual vino sin cables de alimentación, de audio y óptico, yo tenía de todos y lo pude probar bien pero bueno el estado era aceptable y el precio estaba bien. Tarde en recibirlo casi 20 dias... Por lo demás Amazon impecable como siempre a esperas de que vengan a por el paquete...
Pensaré una barra de sonido más subwoofer con un sistema más actualizado.

Scheinbar haben die Hersteller keine Qualitätskontrolle, denn das Soundsystem wurde mehrfach versandt und ich war der dritte der genau dieses Soundsystem bekam.
Weiterhin geht dieses aufgrund eines defekten Lautsprechers zurück.
Nach einigem Überlegen ob ich mir das Soundsystem nochmals bestellen soll entschied ich mich doch dafür es nochmals zu probieren. Das zweite Soundsystem kam schnell an und funktioniert einwandfrei. Es gibt auch kein Fielen, Summen oder sonstige Störgeräusche. Angeschlossen habe ich das Soundsystem via Toslink an meinem PC.
Weiterhin geht dieses aufgrund eines defekten Lautsprechers zurück.
Nach einigem Überlegen ob ich mir das Soundsystem nochmals bestellen soll entschied ich mich doch dafür es nochmals zu probieren. Das zweite Soundsystem kam schnell an und funktioniert einwandfrei. Es gibt auch kein Fielen, Summen oder sonstige Störgeräusche. Angeschlossen habe ich das Soundsystem via Toslink an meinem PC.

Nachdem nun nach mehr als 15 Jahren das Vorgängermodell das Zeitliche gesegnet hat, bin ich Edifier treu geblieben und habe mir nun dieses Modell zugelegt. Da ich sehr viel Musik am PC höre, ist mir ein ordentlicher Klang wichtig.
Auch die neuen Boxen bringen ordentlich "Wumms" mit. Mit dem Klang bin ich sehr zufrieden. Satte Bässe (die ich sogar etwas runtergeregelt habe, damit die Nachbarn ihre Ruhe haben) und gute Höhen.
Edifier hat etwas gespart und statt einer separaten Kontrolleinheit sind die Regler für Klang und Lautstärke nun in die rechte Box gewandert. Mich stört das weniger, da ich alles ohnehin mit der beigefügten Fernbedienung steuere. Etwas störend ist auch, dass die Boxen nun fest mit dem Subwoofer verbunden sind und die Länge der Verbindungskabel für mich ein bisschen zu kurz war. Das kann man aber mit geringem Aufwand regeln.
Insgesamt bin ich nit dem Klang und der Verarbeitung sehr zufrieden. Ich würde auch beim nächsten Mal wieder bei Edifier landen.
