Treated myself to a Denon record player for my collection of Rod McKuen LPs, wonderful player cannot recommend it highly enough. I have this in my bedroom so am saving for one for the Sitting Room now.

When it first arrived i was shocked how light it was, but once i got it up and running i was amazed at the sound quality. Whilst it is easy to record the album onto a flas drive the efiting function to split the tracks is not so easy and on a few occassions the software has come back with rhe message not possible to split, which is not so good
Also a small down side with thw turntable is that it does not have a lever to raise the arm manually if you wish to selecta track on the lp and want to move the arm across and let it down gently, but all in all super value for money

Connects to any HiFi amplifier. Looks the business. Great to beable to play my old vinyl again and to see the disc spinning. One button to start the disc spinning and put the stylus onto the record. Another to lift the arm off if you want to stop it. Unfortunately nothing to manually lift the arm so selecting a track is difficult. Quite a rumble at high volumes. For a HiFi buff this is definetly not HiFi but the sound is reasonable for a relatively cheap piece of equipment (a proper HiFi deck will set you back at least a grand). Ten times better than the Steepletone record players. This is a quick, cheap and easy way to once again play your vinyl and I love it!

Well pleased with the turntable which does what it says and is easy to use. Not so pleased with the computer software that comes with it and which allows you to split the tracks (otherwise one side of a vinyl record is just one track). I am having great difficulty in working out how to use it and the Help facility does not help much. It is also not compatible with Windows 7 although it does load and appears to be working OK - if I could work out how to use it.

Excellent and easy to use. Quality of the recordings is amazing compared to the cheap inferior solutions I have tried and it's so easy with no pc required. I'm impressed by this

I spent many months searching for a record deck and I already had a Denon Radio & C.D., I can`t believe it took so long for me to get around to this turntable. However I am glad I did eventually buy this one. It is perfect for me, no problems connecting it and I am back to playing my L.P. collection again.

This turntable slots in very nicely with my Technics SC-CH655 system (circa 1980) and was ready to go out of the box. I'm very pleased I didn't get rid of my my vinyl collection!! Good value for money. I have yet to try the USB option.

I bought this Denon turntable as I already have a Denon compact hifi system so it seemed a logical choice. Also other USB decks I looked at didn't have the option of using a flash drive, instead they needed a direct connection to a PC.
Clear instructions are provided and I was up and running in around 15 minutes. Sound quality seems very good, nice to hear albums for the first time in something like 20 years!
However, the first thing I noticed was that the start of my recordings were being cut off. I had read other reviews that mentioned this but it was only after reading the instructions that I realised I had to wait until the recording light was actually flashing before recording started. In my case this took around 20 seconds after pushing the record button but apparently can vary depending on the flash drive used. The software supplied took a while to get used to but seems to work well. As others have said there is no on/off indication which there should be, hence the 4* rating.
All in all I think for £130 this is a decent turntable that does the job I wanted it to and does it well.
EDIT: Previous reviewers have commented that the turntable speed is faster than it should be. I downloaded and printed a 50 Hz speed test disc and can confirm this is indeed the case. Anyone who is particular about having the speed spot on may want to look elsewhere for a better turntable.

This turntable is of a staggeringly low build quality, a major surprise given that Denon has always had an excellent name in HiFi. Every element is of a cheap, plastic construction. It also didn't work, despite my very best efforts. I returned it and good old Amazon reimbursed the charge. I would never knowingly buy a Denon product again.

Not having a record player since the early 70s and loads of vinyl still in my collection I decided that I needed a means of playing these records. My purchase of the Denon was just what I needed. Along with my sound bar purchased to accompany my record player is great. I have already added to my collection.
I have not transferred anything onto CD yet but that will happen.

Looks neat and plays well . Very pleased with purchased. Originally bought a crossley but returned as quality was very poor. Would Definately recommend the denon.

Took a while to work out how to connect it to our (Denon) system but once sorted its great. Haven't used the USB etc. just wanted to play my old vinyls again. Shame its a bit flimsy (plastic) rather than the same brushed aluminium as the rest of our stuff, but I suppose that would have increased the price. Good for the price and simple to operate.

Much better than I thought it would be. The sound is what it is all about and it gives a clear, clean sound with no wow & flutter or rumble. Compares favourably with my old Dual 505 (which is on the way out). My only gripe is that there is no lever to hold the tone-arm in the raised position while manually selecting a track. Smaller and very light compared with my Dual but this does not detract from quality of the product.

Brought for my Daughter and Son-in-law for Christmas and they absolutely love it. Does everything that they wanted and they have told me that the sound quality is brilliant.

GREAT TURNTABLE THE TRANS MUSIC MANAGER CD WORKSHOP THAT COMES WITH THIS TURNTABLE MAY NOT LOAD ONTO YOUR COMPUTER AS IT USES WINDOWS XP I CONTACTED DENON AND THEY TOLD ME TO TRY AUDACITY WHICH IS A FREE DOWNLOAD AND I HAVE HAD NO TROUBLE AT ALL WITH THIS WORKSHOP THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I HAVE GIVEN 4 STARS

Having read all the listed reviews prior to buying this product there was no doubt in my mind that the Denon DP 200USB Turntable was the one I was going to buy and of course the price was right. The Turntable arrived today Monday 10 November 2014 and I was not disappointed, used in conjunction with my Denon Amplifier, absolutely brilliant sound, been listening to my LP's for the last 3 hours.

Very light construction. Arm cannot be locked to move deck. Noisy platter rotation and belt. Switches feel cheap.
