One thing about warranty: While I was going through the comments when I was about to purchase this monitor, I read a comment which said you have to 'transfer the ownership' of the product from the retailer's name to your name after the purchase. So after the purchase I completed the process from the Dell website. I noticed that the warranty for my unit started from October 2017 while I purchased the product on June 2018. I suppose it was during October 2017 that the Amazon retailer bought this unit. So I contacted Dell Support on their number. They requested the invoice of the purchase. I emailed the details and after a few days they corrected the warranty period. Prospective buyers may want to check their warranty once they have bought the product and get it corrected, if required.
It's only been two months. I hope the monitor stays perfect in the long run.

That being said, do your own research, and I feel that you'll conclude what I did. This monitor is by far the best in its class and it's an integral part of the workflow of any individual seeking excellence in their tools and themselves.
(note: as you can see, in the attached picture, the brightness is so high that it washes out the rest of my room)

I purchased one HDMI to DP cable and one HDMI to mDP cable, neither of them worked. Worst part of this story is that even Dell Support couldn't provide me any solution to this. They do not even have a suggested HDMI cable. I had to finally return this Monitor.
Note: I am sure this Monitor works seamlessly with compatible systems. But it's sad that Dell didn't think of simple backward compatibility i.e. most systems with only HDMI ports. They lose market on this.

Please if you are purchasing computers or anything really, read the product description. This is 100% a business computer, especially with it coming pre-loaded with Windows 10 PRO. Also, no where does it state this computer comes with a WiFi card. Please read the description before mindlessly reviewing a product at a lower rating.

Packaging was good and secure. Awesome monitor, it is ultra sharp and colours are very realistic. The product quality is top notch, the low profile bezel adds little more screen area and makes the monitor look sleeker. The monitor has a good non reflective coating on the screen.
The on-screen-display menu (OSD) is accessible through feather touch buttons on the right hand side bottom of the frame. Navigation through the menu and settings are easy.
The back has various ports for connectivity, this is a little cumbersome if you want to connect something on a regular basis. The connectivity panel faces down, so one has to rotate the monitor to the back and tilt it up to see the ports clearly. HDMI cable is not provided in the box.
This monitor comes with a 3 year panel replacement warranty.
Dell website states that if you purchase it from a retailer you have to transfer ownership of the hardware to avail warranty.
The service TAG, (sort of serial number) which is required for the ownership transfer is at the back of the monitior.
Update: 20-09-2019
Even after almost One and half years of daily use the monitor is in perfect condition.
The colour rendition is the same as it was when I first started using it.
Final verdict:
A must buy.

The fine print does mention it, but I would not have ordered this for my small business had I realized the specs differed from the ones on Dellβs website, but I kept it since we desperately needed a new computer after the old hard drive died.

The black bars in the video don't bother me - I didn't buy it for video anyway.
Gaming is fine - I am an offline, single player casual gamer, so I get as much use out of it as my 15.6 inch laptop screen gets me. I still played PES, RDR2 and I didn't notice anything off.
One point though - 1080p on a 24" monitor does mean you can see individual pixels in text even without being too close to the screen. So if that puts you off, consider 1440p.
But for price to performance, this is hard to beat. (I got it for 18.9k in May 2020)
Additionally, I spent almost 3 days mulling over whether to get this or a P2419H (which is 5-6k cheaper). And this is what I could find.
Pros of P2419H over U2415:
Newer (As P24'19' suggests, it is a 2019 model vs 2015 in U24'15')
Lower power consumption
Cheaper by 5-6k
16:9 screen is better for videos and movies
Pros of U2415 over P2419H:
99% sRGB coverage, so a wider colour gamut
16:10 is great for productivity
U series comes with in factory colour calibration, which is much better out of the box than P series
I personally believe U series also has better QC against backlight bleeding, but that's up for debate
P.S. - Maybe I was lucky, or maybe the extra cost attached to U2415 (vs a P2419H) is what ensures it, but I didn't find any backlight bleeding in my monitor - so that automatically elevates the score to a perfect 5.

Its the perfect size for me. I sit about 2 feet from the screen. The extra inches on the top are quite helpful when working with excel. Wish there was a way to compare this to the Dell P2419 in terms of picture quality. Given that the P2419 is 40% cheaper if you get a chance to compare, suggest you do else I have no regrets buying this.

However, I started noticing that the color reproduction between the two monitors I had was not the same even after keeping all settings same and using the same preset mode. See the attached image where I have dragged a notepad window across the two and also showing the monitor preset menu.
Then I noticed that the stand of one had scratches at the corner of the stand. Does this mean these are older stock or even used ones!!! Hope not.
Didn't expect this from Dell.. Really disheartened.
Will replace them now. Hopefully the replaced ones will be better.
Will update the review after the replace.
[Update]
I just realized this monitor is not available anymore and there is no replacement, but only refund. That puts me in a corner now as I have a dual monitor setup and can't return one and get another! I have no choice but to follow up with DELL warranty. The seller surely seems to have sent me last of his stock β¦ atleast one of the monitor. Sigh!
[Update 2020.07.25]
This monitor is back on Amazon, at a higher price.
Itβs been a week working with DELL support and sharing fotos and videos of how the colour difference is an issue. They donβt seem to be convinced yet. I will continue to work with DELL as I trust the brand
