Die Software entdeckt das Gerät nicht. Der integrierte Webservice funktioniert nicht. Der Support des Herstellers enttäuscht. Die Konfiguration ist nicht möglich. Nun hängt es an weniger exponierter Stelle im Netzwerk und verrichtet da unkonfiguriert aber klaglos seinen Dienst.

D-Link DGS-1210-10P v. A oder B?
Diesen Switch gibt es in einer A Hardware-Version und einer modifizierten B Version. B beinhaltet z.B. incl. IPv6, A dagegen nicht. Leider wird dieser Umstand weder auf der Herstellerseite noch bei den Händlern bekanntgegeben.

52Port-Variante ist leider nicht lautlos, aber sonst ohne Probleme
Ich habe mehrere dieser Switche im Einsatz und sie laufen klaglos.
Der Lüfter ist hörbar - aber wer hat schon einen 52-Port-Switch im Wohnzimmer?
Die kleinere 28Port-Variante ist ohne Lüfter und daher nicht zu hören.
Auch davon verwende ich einige, die nun schon seit Jahren brav ihren Dienst tun.
Kaufe ich wieder.

Handbuch nur in Englisch
Es liegt nur eine Kurzanleitung in Deutsch dabei. Das 103 Seiten Handbuch ist in Englisch. Laut Auskunft des deutschen Supports wird dieses Produkt nicht in Deutschland verkauft, deshalb gebe es keine Übersetzung - was macht es dann hier auf amazon.de?
Überlege noch, ob ich das Gerät zurückgebe.

I've had one of these installed in our home office for about 9 months now, replacing a 'consumer' 8-way switch which had run out of ports. Installation is uncomplicated, it has a web-form based control interface which you can drive from any browser, so there's no software to install. The only real setup to do is giving it an IP address (assuming the default isn't what you want), then it's ready to go as a simple 10/100/1G switch. You can then turn on additional settings (packet filtering, VLAN, etc) as required.
I'm pleased to report that in my setting it's performed flawlessly since it was first turned on; I'm not doing anything particularly esoteric with it, but it's never crashed or needed fiddling with. Importantly (for me) it's silent in operation and doesn't use a lot of electricity (under 10 Watts), so doesn't get hot.
One thing to note - this isn't the version which does power-over-ethernet; that's the -28P model.
Update 27/7/14: If you're curious as to what a managed switch will let you do, I'm using these features:
(a) Traffic Segmentation, which lets you control which destinations traffic arriving at a particular port can be sent to. So, I have a 'guest' wi-fi access point; its port can talk to the Internet gateway, but not any other machines (e.g. workstations and servers) attached to the network.
(b) ACL (access control list) - this lets you set up a pretty comprehensive firewall between ports. I've got a server which is allowed HTTP access by anyone, but with general access (e.g. SSH) only from specific devices as identified by MAC address.
(c) SNMP, which lets you monitor statistics (packet counts, byte counts, etc) on a port-by-port basis.
I'm pleased to report that in my setting it's performed flawlessly since it was first turned on; I'm not doing anything particularly esoteric with it, but it's never crashed or needed fiddling with. It is a stable switch...
I don't like the size..
I bought it, as i thought it support SSH management, yes it support, but very old insecure ssh mode and very limited functions only supported on SSH.
Web interface is a bit slow.

Excellent for the price, my unit runs a bunch of POE wireless routers spread over an 18th Century London house - now offices. Easy to set up. Gave up on VLAN's -not because of this device but the £1000+ HP switch that needs £2K+ worth of training just to understand. 10 ports is a great idea when 8 are just not quite enough.

Straightforward to install. Works very well. Neat package.
Only problem I had was some of my devices have non-standard POE (two Panasonic cameras still needed their own old POE).

This is a good reliable switch with PoE. Amazon was by far the cheapest place we could find it.

Tralascio le caratteristiche che ha ogni switch ed elenco solo quelle che mi hanno indotto all'acquisto dopo lunghi confronti.
Tutte le porte sono POE quindi in grado di alimentare dispositivi direttamente sul cavo ethernet, molti switch riportano la scritta POE ma poi ne hanno solo 2 o 4.
Le porte POE di questo dispositivo sopportando lo standard AT, quindi forniscono una potenza doppia, tutti gli altri switch se non riportato seguono lo standard AF con Max 15w.
Con le porte AT è possibile collegare uno switch passtrough che viene alimentato direttamente da questo dispositivo e fornisce a sua volta altre 2 porte POE e 2 normali. Esempio un solo cavo di rete lo sdoppio per alimentare una telecamera POE e collegare una TV.
Le porte POE possono essere spente via software così per esempio se collego una telecamera quando le spengo l'alimentazione sono certo che nessuno in quel momento la possa impiegare.
Ha l'alimentatore esterno (incluso nella confezione) e quindi non ha la ventola di raffreddamento (fanno sempre tutte rumore) e quindi si può mettere anche nel soggiorno o in un disimpegno.
Si può montare sia in rack che poggiato su un mobile.
È managed, stabile, durevole, facile da configurare, di dimensioni compatte.
Assolutamente consigliato.

Ottimo prodotto, facile configurazione e installazione. Avevo ordinato quello senza PoE e mi è arrivato quello con.
Purtroppo i miei access point PoE della ubiquity lavorano su uno standard diverso (nessun problema perché vengono comunque dotati di alimentatore che inserisce l'alimentazione nel cavo lan).
Dico purtroppo perché non potendo sfruttare il PoE per gli access point avrei preferito quello senza ventola. Io lo ho posizionato nel sottoscala in taverna, quindi non dà fastidio.. ma in regime di silenzio completo si sente un po' il rumore fuori dalla porta del sottoscala. Questo per dire che è assolutamente incompatibile con la presenza umana. Cioè è impensabile tenerselo a vista in soggiorno e/o nello studiolo dove si ha il computer.

Ya llevo unos días con el equipo en marcha. Facilita tensión por el PoE a unos teléfonos IP del a empresa-
Las opciones de configuración que lleva, tienen un interfaz algo antiguo pero te permiten tocar todos los parámetros que se te ocurran y algunos que no sabias que se podían tocar.
El equipo no se calienta demasiado y de momento todo perfecto.

Un producto con buenas opciones de configuracion, Link Aggregation, Proteccion de loopback de puertos, storming, etc.
Tiene mucho ancho de banda y es muy estable, alla donde lo hemos puesto y habia problemas se han disipado.

Requiere de ciertos conocimientos técnicos para su instalación pero es un producto estupendo por su flexibilidad de configuración y, lo que yo buscaba, que no se calienta.
En mi caso necesitaba la función de agregación de puertos, que en este switch es perfectamente gestionable.
Me decanté por este modelo en concreto porque dispone de una buena cantidad de puertos y no se calienta nada (además de no llevar ventilador), como es el caso del DGS-1210-28P, que por tener la característica de Power Over Ethernet, consume más, genera sonido (poco, pero algo) y da calor.
Totalmente aconsejable, si sabes lo que quieres, claro.

Bought this for a home lab. While I'm not a huge fan of the GUI to set it up, the amount of features supported by this switch compared to others I found at this price range is very impressive. Not much else to say - it looks and feels like a quality product, and works as you would expect.
Documentation is lacking for layer 3 functionality, which I assume is a relatively recent addition to the firmware for this product. For my purposes this is a non-issue, but for others I suspect it could be problematic.

Il prodotto si presenta bene e l'installazione è stata facile. Il software a corredo è ottimo anche se non è necessario installarlo per fare i cablaggi e far colloquiare i PC in rete.
Ho tolto una stella perché non tutti i dispositivi si sono connessi immediatamente. Infatti il server UNIX, il Mac ed la stampante di rete INEO l'ho ricollegati al vecchio switch per poter ripartire subito. Non ho ancora avuto il tempo di controllare se con un settaggio software la cosa si risolve.

Davvero ottimo prodotto. Tantissime ed esaustive opzioni per ogni tipo di gestione della rete. Attenzione però ad un errore nella descrizione dove viene riportato che ci sono 24 porte PoE mentre, in realtà, sono 24 porte rj45 NON PoE + 4 porte combo SFP. A me va benissimo dato che sapevo la differenza tra i due modelli DGS-1210-28 ("normale") e il DGS-1210-28P (PoE) oltretutto e ovviamente con notevole differenza di prezzo. Consigliato !!!

eccellente sistema plug & play. Buona qualità della struttura. Riscaldamenteo limitato che consente l'uso in rack senza problemi. Sarebbero stati utili dei piedini in gomma o plastica morbida per l'uso desktop.

J'ai acheté ce DGS-1210-10P (poe) pour compléter mon réseau qui n'est pas totalement en étoile. Je n'ai pas assez de prises réseau dans le bureau.
J'ai un DGS-1210-28 (sans poe) dans ma baie.
Mes 2 produits sont de la même série et sont parfait.
Pour les paramètres tout est indiqué chez le fabricant.
Par contre je n'ai pas compris

Livré rapidement, comme d'habitude. Placé derrière une Freebox Révolution pour alimenter en étoile le Freebox player et tous les appareils connectés y compris le point d'accès Wi-Fi D-Link en POE (distant de 10 m) : rien à redire, tout marche nickel et avec peu de chauffe, zéro bruit. Le boîtier d'alimentation chauffe peu, est un peu volumineux mais il est caché. Le paramétrage est assez facile, même pour le Freebox player qui communique avec le serveur en mode VLAN. Je recommande !

Manche Features erschließen sich mir nicht
Ich habe beruflich mit Cisco-Switchen zu tun. Deshalb meine ich, mir hier ein Urteil bilden zu können.
Ich wollte für bestimmte Ports die Portsecurity nutzen. Also habe ich manuell, über Sticky und über die Suche MAC-Adressen auf die Ports geschrieben. Jetzt sollte, wenn man ein unbekanntes Gerät an diesen Port steckt, dieser je nach Einstellung, alle Pakete blocken. Ich habe auch nach langem Probieren kein ansatzweise brauchbares Ergebnis diesbezüglich erzielen können. Es gibt zwar eine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung, die ist aber an der Stelle nicht hilfreich. Features anbieten die nicht funktionieren, das geht gar nicht. Die Bedienungsanleitung muss das eindeutig erklären, falls es irgendwie tricky ist. Dafür jeweils einen Stern abzug.
Was nutzt mir ein Layer3 Switch, wenn er nicht einmal die Layer2 Features richtig kann?

Acheter pour mon home lab de travail (je suis auto entrepreneur), un cluster de 3 machines sous proxmox, 1 synology et 1 machine avec OMV, le tout en lien avec un autre routeur D-Link via liaison LACP (4port) et routeur pfsense. Toutes les machines sont en LACP (gestion failover et loadbalancing). Jumbo frame et MTU à 9000 débit au taquet. Bon produit je vous le recommande.
