I just recently built a new PC with Corsair XMS3 8GB RAM. It's been working fine since day one. As a graphic/web designer, I have about 10-20 windows open at once, including Adobe Creative Suite, and everything runs very smoothly.One thing that's great about this RAM is its low profile. Memory was ordered from Amazon and quickly delivered. I mainly purchased because of theadvertised rebate. I downloaded the forms, preregistered at the rebate website, and sentin everything requested. After a couple weeks I saw that my rebate was rejected. I e-mailedthe Corsair rebate website and asked why they were cheating me out of the rebate. Mark,theirrebate specialist, replied back that Amazon wasn't authorized to sell the memory with a rebate.This is just another example of rebate fraud from Corsair and it's rebate program so I'll neverbe purchasing their products again. If everyone they do this to would take a little time andcomplain about these fraudulent rebate practices maybe we can put a stop to it. At least thememory worked ok as I couldn't return it after removing the upc code. Maybe that's what theirtrying to accomplish.Update 1/8/12___ One of the memory sticks failed making me regret buying the Corsair brandmemory even more.

I purchased these to replace 6gb of g-skill that were causing recurring blue screens (corrupt memory). The system has been running rock solid since the install.

My computer was an 8 out of 10 on a benchmark test and after I installed this extra ram my computer ran 10 out of 10, the performance is outstanding at a reasonable price. This was the best investment for my PC.

Ordered one stick, seemed to work fine for about two weeks and then all of a sudden Windows won't even make it through booting up without blue screening. Tried memtest, the RAM was so corrupt the screen wouldn't even display properly, from what I could tell (it was hard to actually read the garbled screen) there were over 100,000 errors found within 30 seconds of starting the test. Figured, OK, bad sticks do happen and RMA'd it through Amazon to get a replacement. Learned my lesson and tested the new stick as soon as I got it - >100 errors found (and once you find one it's only going to get worse over time). Not dealing with bad RAM biting me later on, replacing this with another brand. One bad stick is a fluke, two is starting to be a pattern. The RAM for others could be perfectly fine, but I'd strongly suggest testing it right away because duds are out there.Edit: Just got my new stick of RAM from a different manufacturer (hint: it rhymes with "pill") and ran memtest. 0 errors, which means the previous tests were not false readings caused by other components. 0/2 sticks of RAM is pretty bad, I'd avoid this altogether - sometimes you do get what you pay for.

So heres my take this ram is a great value .. with my amd system i havent been able to overclock it to 1600 mhz like others have claimed but i can still get tight timeings with this kit by the way .. i did pair two different kits togeather i bought a 4x8gb set of the same corsair ram origianally different serial numbers but i put these in with no post issues or ram check issues .and got zero errors the previous ram has had no errors either. solid ram right out of the box currently im running with 16gb of ram and trust me i noticed the difference right off the bat.. my 3d mark scores went up as well as the boot time went down it really made a great improvement now on my system im getting a 7.6 windows exspirience as far as this ram is concerned for the price i cant complain and i would recommend this as a great value upgrade for any capable system.

I have 12 gigs of this ram total now. It went in with no errors at all.It runs very cool too. I am very pleased with its preformance, and you cant beat the price. Corsair brand ram has always been dependable in my work and play.

Works fine in my first build as a single stick. Just ordered another to take advantage of dual channel capability even though O/S can only use 4GB. [Hopefully that will work, if not, there's another build coming]. Installed this in my girlfriend's brother's computer when I swapped his old mobo out. Works as advertised, and what a difference in speed. Highly recommend. I've purchased multiple Corsair products over the years and all have been of very high quality and top notch.

I bought this product on October 18, 2011, after a few days of receiving the product that stopped working, get the warranty with corsair and they declined that supposedly had no guarantee label, the product was shipped to corsair in original packaging with all tags and after nearly a month of waiting for a response from them, they simply will not make the warranty valid, it is a bad product, I would not recommend it, Avoid wasting your time and money, and to who say it was a compatibility issue, let me say that this same memory I install it on another motherboard and I got the same problems

excellent for the money very good memory lifetime warranty have never had any go bad yet aand ppl need to be ware of static electricity although shipping could be more professional as they are quite slow

Good ram, and it installed with no issues. It was great in a cheap ddr3 quad core build. Would buy again if looking for something cheap, other wise the corsair vengeance memory is top notch!

The title is pretty much the whole story. There was a rebate offeredat the time of purchase. My rebate was denied with the explanationthat Amazon is NOT a legitimate retailer of this product. I havealways avoided products with rebates just for this reason. Thereis a reason some companies offer a rebate instead of a lowerprice. Amazon is not only a legitimate retailer of this productbut the number one and best retailer out there. (IMO)

I was not aware that there may be possible compatibility issues with this specific model of memory. After installing it on a system running an AMD CPU I started getting multiple memory errors and memory initialization errors. I first thought it was the memory but then got the PC to boot up without error, however it blue screened at some point in the middle of the night. I then thought that it was the motherboard and maybe it was not the memory after all. Just to be sure I went and bought some OEM value Ram and sure enough the memory errors went away and I have not had any issues what so ever with my new machine. I would like to recommend the product as I have other Memory by Corsair that has worked very well but it seems I can only recommend this memory if you use an Intel CPU.

I purchased these ram sticks to improve my gaming experience, after installation I tried out a game, it ran great for a little while then I got a blue screen of death error. I had never gotten this error screen before the installation. After reboot I tried another game, got the same error. Once the ram sticks were removed I never got the blue screen again.

Corsair doesn't guaranty mixing their memory will work, but for me, this was great. I already had 4GB of RAM installed in channel A and bought this to add to it. They plugged right in and the machine booted properly. This 8GB memory kit works great. I've seen a huge performance boost since adding it. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to go beyond 4GB.

Last week my PC started to blue screen. After downloading and running a memory test program it appears that one of the memory cards is bad. I should have ran a memory test when I installed the memory but didn't. Now the return timeframe has passed with Amazon so I can't return the item to them. I went to the Corsair web site to return it under the warranty and wow... what a lot you have to fill out just to tell them you have bad memory. It's like they want to make it complicated so you don't follow through with it. I used [...].

It is listed as 2x4 not true. Windows sees it as 4x so you need to have a board that can boot this. If you flash the bios and upgrade it might work. I did not try this with the board. Ram works fine and will over clock.
