The telephoto lens did not perform as well as I expected, but for the price I guess I got what I paid for. Zooming in on distant objects was less clear and not as sharp as my camera's existing built-in zoom lens. I can get sharper images without the zoom lens so will likely not be using it. The wide-angle lens did allow a wider field of view, but the edges are curved significantly. The Tube Adapter did not fit as snugly as I would have liked and appears to be a little loose when locked in place. The Petal Lens Hood did not fit any of the lenses. The other items in the package appear to be OK. I use a Canon PowerShot S5-IS and purchased the package mainly for the wide-angle lens.

Fabulous little camera. Had an older model before, but this one is even better. Less pincushion distortion on macro images. Love the little viewfinder, the swivel function of the display monitor and the fact that you can use regular AA batteries!

My only issue (so far) is it looks like gorillas packed it. Packing peanuts on the top. None on the bottom. The fisheye lens box was crushed and the cleaning fluid leaked all over the inside of the box. No sealer protection on the bottle. The cleaning tissues ruined and the micro cloth had to be dried. Not too thrilled. Have to think twice before ordering from 47th street photo again.

it's just waste of money.
i'm not satisfied with quality of the pictures.
you can barely see details in pictures with telephoto lens(same problem with macro lenses),no sharpness at all! but wide is ok

The instructions did not tell nor my camera if the batteries were even charging. There was no light signaling a charge. The tip that inserts into the camera was too loose and kept falling off. The instructions showed a different tip than what I actually got to insert into camera. Instructions showed a tip as a for a cell phone and not the ear phone looking tip that I got. That would've fitted more snug into the camera which also has that optional insert area.

I bought this camera 7 years ago and it still takes beautiful photos. I recently found it packed away during our move and I was so excited to start using it again. (My ex took my Nikon D40x in our split) I've learned so much over the years and this camera takes wonderful photos if you get your settings right. I now only shoot in M. If you only shoot in Auto, you are missing out!

Bought the Cannon Powershot S3 IS after reading all the raved reviews here and elsewhere on the internet. I was origingall impressed with the quality of the photos and all the bells and whistles on this camera. Worked great for about 4 years with my only occasional use, such as on infrequent vacations and Christmas time photos. Then, this past Christmas I tried to use it at the family gathering at our home and noticed the LCD wouldn't work as it was supposed to and you couldn't see or take photos. I changed batteries assuming that was the issue. It wasn't. I rechecked all settings and spend hours and hours going through the manual and double checking all the settings. Nothing worked. A visit to the Cannon Site was no help, I finally got through to customer service if you could call it that, and was told that the life expectancy on this camera is over ! 4 years and it's Done ???
I asked about sending it in for repairs and was told that Cannon no longer services this camera and the best they could do was offer me a minimal amout off a replacement upgrade. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked him to repeat it and he did. They no longer repair these units and the life expectancy or any digital camera they sell is only 5 years max. No more service or repairs after that.
I have a 10-12 year old Olympus Digital Camera that I blew the dust off and put batteries in, and it still works fine, and thus has lasted more than twice as long as the Cannon and is still going strong.
This was the last Overpriced Cannon I or my family will ever buy. - Customer Service???? Where ???

I knew that is was a used camera but in good condition. I have had the camera previously and upgraded to an DSLR when the camera started malfunctioning. I use this camera for some field work because it is compact but I use it specifically for Maco Photography where tripods would be difficult to use. A supplemental macro lens is used. The smaller sensor size also provides a little more depth of field. Used it for years before upgrading. Still love it for certain uses.

Quite a good zoom on this. But the images are quite noisy, as seems to be true still with more recent Canon bridge cameras.

the product is superb, new and item is as promised. it is flawless and gives me more confidence than the Plastic LAH DC20. I have a canon S3 IS and it fits all my lenses with perfection.

I love this camera. I've used it for all my photos for several years and have no complaints. The photo quality is excellent and it has a nice assortment of shooting modes to choose from. It was one of the best cameras of its kind when I bought it, but by now (Nov 2013) there are many other and smaller/lighter options to choose from that may do just as good a job.

The power supply works perfectly with my Canon S3IS where batteries do not work anymore.Also the wires are quite long so I can take pictures not being tied to close to an electrical outlet.

This a very nice lens adapter especially for the price. This adapter is made of metal and tough, as I attached a tulip shade onto it to stay put and had no trouble tightening it down. I ordered another lens adapter from another company waited a week, ordered this one and it showed up before the previous order. Excellent order experience.

My rechargeable batteries are getting old and their life is too short in the camera. The ac adapter means I no longer have to use batteries or go looking for freshly charged batteries. Most of my camera use is indoors, so the trailing power cord is not a problem for me.

When my first Canon Powershot Pro bit the dust, I found a used one on Amazon. The seller included a carrying bag, all needed cords and accessories, and it appeared to be new. I just returned from two trips and the photos are amazing. Of course, I don't give the camera ALL the credit!

This AC adapter works perfectly for my PowerShot S5 IS. I was looking for a way to take extended video recordings without draining a large amount of batteries and this definitely fit the bill. It seems a bit flimsy, so I've been handling it with care at all times, but it functions as it should. For the price you really can't go wrong; you'll make your money back in battery-savings alone.

I was looking for an upgrade for my little point and shoot primarily for close up work. The camera is 6mp, so images are small, but this lens kit does everything it says it will at a very affordable price point. All the parts are high quality and fit well. If you're looking for an expansion kit and don't want to spring for a slr, I would definitely recommend this unit, you get a lot for your money.

Has been a great purchase so far. I bought it used so I do not have a user manual and I am not sure the video recording works. I need to see if I can download a manual. Would have given it 5 stars but did not realize I would not receive a manual or basic case.

It works. Came with the right teeny weenie power plug which was my biggest concern. Cables long enough for my camera on tripod shooting a table top, probably long enough in general. Price was right.
