Thought I treated myself to a good rod...
The rod itself was nice, light, and thought to be as well constructed. I eventually caught my lure on a tree and with the about 5 pounds of pressure, the top half of the pole snapped. Extremely disappointed. I was counting down til I caught a fish on this pole. I caught a 6.5, and a 5.3lb striper on a travel telescoping pole that held up. Wouldn't be able to say the same about Cadence.

Rod broke in the first catch

Great rod
Got this rod for a back up to take to Minnesota for northern pike . Ended up liking it as much or more than my 13 Fishing rod and used it just as much . Keep watching it as the price drops down to around $35 or less and it is well worth the money . They ship it in a hard cardboard tube and it has foam inserts around the rod so 0 movement .. A+

Snapped with First Big Bass
Purchased in October, 2021 to pair with my Okuma Avenger 2500 spinning reel with 6 pound mono. For a lot of reasons I was unable to start fresh water fishing until last week. I caught 3 small largemouths and the rod performed well. Yesterday I was fishing in quiet water and hooked into a nice bass got him to the boat and he made one final lunge. The rod snapped about 4 inches above the second guide. I have never had a fish break a rod. The rod is light and looks great but breaking on a couple of pound bass doesn’t speak much for its strength. I called customer support and no one at home on tech support and the operator. Their website is for sound systems. This is $59 down the drain. I would love to hear from Cadence. The rod was a Cadence Essence, 6 foot light with moderate fast action. By the way I am Nancy husband Jim.

Essence 701S-MF and Essence 701S-MHF
I got these rods (2 of them) as a Christmas gift which I asked for since I'm not familiar with the brand and didn't want to spend my own money buying them. The rods are light and pretty but one thing I noticed is the reel seat on one is not lined up straight with the guides. It's a little off to the left. I hope it will not affect casting or retrieving. The other rod has a loose reel seat top hood next to the locking nut. It moves a bit when no reel is attached but seems secured once you put a reel on. Hopefully it doesn't come off while I'm fighting a fish. I haven't used the rods yet and will update this review once I get a chance. This should not made passed quality control and sold. I know they are under $50 rods but why put out a product that you can't be proud of when this could be easily avoided by thoroughly checking the finished product before you put it out in the market.

This fishing rod is for my nephew. He is a beginner in fishing. This fishing rod is very suitable for him. It is very light and sensitive. 6.6 is the perfect size.

Not very well made
After a few uses real attachment broke. Very disappointed with this. I was expecting more from with the advertisement about this rod. Pic to see the damage.

Great trout rod
I bought this rod in the 6’6” light version to put a 1000 series lews reel I had on. I liked the lure weight range on this model. Fished with it and love the feel and action of this rod. Seems to be a great rod for the price point. Definitely will be considering this company again.

3 bass in a row - tournament style performance
I’ve owned the cr6 and the cbr baitcaster, both 30 ton blanks, however the difference in sensitivity is not noticeable when compared to this 24 ton rod. They are lighter for sure however. This rod on the other hand is an absolute killer of a value, the taper allows for very solid hooksets and loads extremely well with 1/2oz swim jigs. It just handles and feels like a premium rod, it is hard to believe I paid less than $50 for this rod. Pulled 3 bass out of the lake within 10 minutes, this rod is a champ

Fabulously light with great bite detection
I just took this rod fishing in my kayak and loved it. I was mostly bottom fishing with a two ounce weight. I also tossed some 1/2 ounce jigheads with plastic and it performed fabulously. Light, great bite detection, but had no problem bringing in fish. I caught catfish, perch, spot, and croaker on it.

So far I'm loving this little gem! Love the action, makes catching anything fun! Great construction, everything from the construction and wrapping of the eyes to the handle and mount. With a super price tag. I love it!

great cheap rod
best cheap brand on amazon rn. they work really well for the first few months but eventually fall apart in some kinda way.
i think if you don’t mind having the feeling of a $100+ rod for a few trips and then it becomes an average pole for the remainder of its lifespan then get it. it’s a great for fun rod (:

Feels like it costs alot more than it does
Very nice rod for the price, i got the 6,6 L(more like a UL) but im pleased with it. Plan on taking out to the local stream this weekend to test it out
Update: used this rod multiple times now and while it is a very nice rod, its definitely an ultralight
