Purchased as a gift. Very nice for the money. If I needed another rod for myself, I’d buy one of these. Perfect size for fishing from kayak. Seemed well made with good tip action.

Excellent Rod
This is my second Cadence rod. The fast action makes it easier to set the hook and cast a long distance. Well made and sensitive enough to feel the slightest bump.

Great buy

These rods break easily... Every one of them!!!
I REALLY wanted to like this rod because of the price and good looks. But that's all it has going for it. I got sent 3 defective rods before finally getting what I thought was a good one. I finally got to take it out 3 months after buying it due to work and weather. On the second fish I hooked the rod snapped a few guides down from the tip! I've learned my lesson that you really do get what you pay for with fishing gear. NEVER AGAIN!!

Great rod!
Loved the rod. Used it for small snapper fishing and a shakey head for bass fishing. Highly recommend for anyone to buy!

The top 1/3 snapped off
The top 1/3 of the rod snapped off with gentle tension being applied as I checked the drag setting on my reel. Never even got to use it once!

Dissappointing
Rod felt great, but the upper piece snapped in half on my first hook set about 5 minutes after taking the plastic off of the cork. Dissappiunted with the quality and durability of the rod.
