Эти наушники очень хорошо. Звук технически это хорошо, но особенно когда вы сидите в самолете, можно услышать ничего больше от назойливого шума самолетов.

I'll keep it as brief as I can and also try to address some of the points raised in other reviews:

Sound - is fantastic, I owned a pair of p3s and these have a bigger soundscape (due to the larer drivers I think?) warm and natural with plenty of texture and precision. Acoustic/rock/classical music sound incredible.

Active Isolation - As good as my Wired Bose Quiet Comforts, it does affect the overall sound quality, so use the active isolation only when you need to. The additional environment 'pass-through' settings are very useful. Office - allows you to hear nearby conversations etc. City - You can hear nearby traffic and crowds. Plane - knocks out everything. One additional note is that I found the Pxs have a natural amount of passthrough when making calls - minimising the YEAH, I'M JUST ON MY WAY NOW...WHAT? YEAH IT WAS CRAP scenarios.

Build - Oozes quality, leather ear pads will soften nicely a little after wearing for a few days. Hinges and headband look and feel very well made. Would've liked a hard case included, but the soft one looks pretty classy.

Fit/ weight - Some reviewers complained about the the fit after a few hours, I had a little ache on the top of my head (I have a little ridge at the top of my skull), I just loosened the fit and not had the problem since. Would've like the headband cushion to be a little bigger and softer - I have a pair of beyerdynamic DT770 Pros which have a better headband imho.

Ease of Use - iOS app installed and updated the firmwear on my Pxs in about 15 minutes (no fuss at all). Controls responded as expected, nice and responsive. Auto power off and mute etc is handy - you might need to choose one of the 3 settings for it to behave predictably on your head - no biggy.

Ich hab den Kopfhörer jetzt seit geraumer Zeit im Einsatz und ja dieser Kopfhörer muss auf alle Fälle eingespielt werden, steht ja auch in der Beschreibung. Die Soundqualität verbessert sich nach einiger Zeit doch sehr stark. Es hängt aber auch vom richtigen Zuspielgerät sehr viel ab, wie ich in diversen Tests feststellen konnte. Hier sind die Unterschiede in der Soundqualität mit unter eklatant, später mehr dazu.
Den Kopfhörer hab ich mir damals gegönnt als ich auf das neue Iphone 8 Plus umgestiegen bin, da dieser Kopfhörer unter anderem auch die AAC Übertragung beherrscht, die die Apple Iphones liefern.
Am Anfang war ich Enttäuscht über die Klangqualität des Kopfhörers, aber wie gesagt man muss ihm die Zeit zum Einspielen geben. Außerdem hab ich am Iphone die Klangverbesserungen ausgeschalten, was für mein Gehör auch nochmals eine Qualitätssteigerung brachte.
Ich war immer InEar Ohrhörer von Ultimate Ears gewohnt und dementsprechend Sound verwöhnt war ich natürlich. Nach der Einspielzeit der Kopfhörer empfand ich den Klangumfang jedoch als besser nur der Bass war nicht so ausgeprägt wie bei den Ultimate Ears, was aber auch klar sein sollte durch den Umstand InEar und OverEar.
Nachdem der Klang für mich nun passte konnte ich mich der Rauschunterdrückung und den Sensoren widmen und die Enttäuschung war vorerst wieder groß. Bei der Rauschunterdrückung verlor der Sound merklich an Dynamik und wurde sehr dumpf. Die Sensoren funktionierten überhaupt nicht wie angegeben und speziell im Zug, bei der Durchfahrt von Tunnels, fielen sie immer wieder aus und man musste den Kopfhörer neu mit dem Handy verbinden. Das wurde aber in der letzten Zeit durch diverse Firmwareupdates behoben und auch die Soundqualität bei der Rauschunterdrückung hat sich hörbar verbessert. Alles in allem war ich also zufrieden, so dachte ich zumindest und doch war ich neugierig wie sich den AptX und AptX HD im Vergleich zu AAC anhören und hab mal herumgespielt :-)
Meine Gattin hat das Samsung Galaxy S8 das den AptX Standard beherrscht und so hab ich den Kopfhörer mit diesem Handy mal ausprobiert, immer mit ITunes Music sei hinzugefügt.
Im Vergleich zum Iphone 8 Plus merkte ich beim Samsung Galaxy S8 keine merkbaren Qualitätsunterschiede, einzig die Soundeinstellungen am Samsung sind besser und Feiner auf den Nutzer einstellbar und somit ergeben sich kleine, wenn auch feine, Qualitätsunterschiede die aber, meiner Meinung nach, nicht gravierend ins Gewicht fallen. Hier kann man es sich noch aussuchen ob man eher ein Iphone Verliebter, so wie ich, oder eben ein Android Anhänger ist. AAC im Vergleich zu AptX ist für mich das Gleiche an Qualität. Nur reichte das noch nicht da ich AptX HD noch nicht testen konnte, so hab ich mir ein Huawei P20 Pro besorgt das den AptX HD Standard beherrscht und das war für mich die Offenbarung in Sachen Soundqualtität schlechthin. Das Huawei P20 Pro bietet keinerlei Einstellungsmöglichkeiten bezüglich Sound, aber die hörbare Qualität die dieses Handy auf die Kopfhörer gezaubert hat war einfach nur Beeindruckend, wie gesagt immer noch mit iTunes Music und 256 kBit wie bei den anderen Handys.
Ich war regelrecht Sprachlos über dieses Plus an Qualität und bin es immer noch. Meine Gattin meint es wäre jetzt bald an der Zeit mein Rundumlächeln beim Musikhören zu beenden, aber es geht einfach nicht weg :-)
Der Qualitätsunterschied im Vergleich zum iPhone mit AAC und dem Samsung mit AptX ist einfach nur WOW. Ja ich weiß, das ist Subjektiv und jeder hört anders. Stimmt schon, für mich ist aber das die beste Kombination. Für andere mag die Tatsache dass man beim Huawei bezüglich Sound nicht wirklich was verstellen kann abschrecken sein, war es für mich auch am Anfang - hat sich aber nicht bestätigt - und somit werden diejenigen mit einem iPhone oder den weit besseren Einstellmöglichkeiten eines Samsung Handys besser bedient sein. Ich selber hatte seit 2007 nur iPhones im Einsatz und mit kabelgebundenen Kopfhörern sind sie immer noch eine Wucht, vor allem mit Ultimate Ears. Beim Einsatz von Bluetooth Kopfhörern, wie dem B&W PX, gibt es aber bessere Zuspieler wie ich feststellen musste.
Somit war der Kauf für mich ein voller Erfolg und der Kopfhörer verdient, nach den Firmwareupdates, nun die vollen 5 Sterne. Aber wie gesagt hängt die Soundqualität auch sehr stark vom verwendeten Handy ab.

Um den Lesenden hier ein wenig Zeit zu sparen, möchte ich kurz auf das eingehen, was der Kopfhörer nicht kann:
-Bei ANC On ein extrem (für mich) schlechter Klang (Direktvergleich Sony 1000 und Panasonic 605 gleichzeitig an Cowon R), Rauschen, angehobener Bass - ein völlig verhangenes Klangbild...., selbst Bowers bestätigt das in der Bedienungsanleitung und empfiehlt den Betrieb ohne ANC für besten Klang...
-ANC ist nicht ausgereift, bei Tests an Bosch Akkusauger, Kaffeemaschine und im
Strassenverkehr fand bei allen Modi kaum eine ausreichende Unterdrückung statt..., da sind Bose, Sony und Panasonic deutlich weiter, was ja auch nicht verwundert...
-der Tragekomfort (Anpressdruck) ist für Brillenträger ab mittelgroßem Kopf zu Anfang m.E. absolut unerträglich, durch einen Tipp eines Bekannten habe ich das Problem aber gelöst und den 400 Euro Hörer eine Nacht lang einer
großen Salatschüssel aufgesetzt - es funktioniert, die U-Metallschiene im Kopfbügel wird flexibler
und jetzt passt alles (keine Angst, es kann nichts kaputt gehen)...
-die Abschaltautomatik ist unsinnig, habe diese über die App ausgeschaltet, sonst kann der Kopfhörer auch kaum eingespielt werden ( über der Salatschüssel )
So, alles schlecht und doch 4 Sterne ??????? Warum das ?
-die Dinger sehen gut aus, völlig anders und m.E. besser als der Einheitslook... selbst meine geliebten H7
gefallen mir jetzt nicht mehr so gut... Die Materialanmutung und Anfassqualität sind einfach nur super...
-Nach Salatschüssel sitzt der PX jetzt gut und die Polster sind auch mit der Zeit weicher geworden
-Die Bedientasten (zum Glück kein Touchpad) sind gut zu fühlen und zu unterscheiden, guter Druckpunkt und stabil
Zum Wichtigsten:
Der PX hat den besten Klang aller mir bekannten BT-Kopfhörer im BT-Betrieb. Zum Testen besitze ich folgende Gegner: Bose QC 35 II, Sennheiser Momentum 2.0, Beoplay H4 und H7, Sony MDR 1000
Als Zuspieler : Fiio M9 AptxHD (der Knaller !!!!!), COWON R, Shanling M2, Pioneer XDP 100, Lotoo PAW (Cowon R AptX zum Vergleichen doppelt)
Der PX hat den besten Hochtonbereich von allen, dicht gefolgt vom H7, eine geniale Balance zwischen unaufgeregt und trotzdem voller Informationen.
Der Mitten- und Stimmbereich ist genial, keine Verfärbungen, absolute Durchhörbarkeit auch bei extrem komplexen Arrangements, die Bühne schön breit und alles niemals aufdringlich.
Der Bass ist extrem sauber und absolut gut hörbar, aber eben auch nicht leicht angehoben... Wo wenig ist, kommt auch wenig raus.... Der Sennheiser ist hier auf Augenhöhe, für Freunde der leicht wärmeren und etwas erdigeren Art ist der M2 dem PX durchaus überlegen....
Für mich ist der Klang traumhaft, ein direkter Umstieg vom Bose oder H4 mit gleicher Musik ist gefährlich, dann suggeriert die Klangerinnerung eine fade / dünne Klangkulisse, da die beiden anderen durch die Badewannenabstimmung viel fülliger und fetter klingen. Für Bewegung und Sport ziehe ich die beiden sogar vor, für intensives Hören und Eintauchen ist der PX erste Wahl.
Für die Basskritiker empfehle ich mal Slayers South of Heaven Intro erster Song, es sind mehrere Gitarren !! und die BD wandert voller Wucht durch den Raum, echt knackig..... da gibt es nichts mehr zu meckern. Auch empfehlenswert ist Moonspell Extinct, top produziert, der Bass per PX über das ganze Album voller Kraft, Ähnliches gilt für Sentenced Cold White Light.

Excellent sound quality. Very pleased.

I really wanted to like it...

I like many others was undecided for weeks. Fortunately Amazon have a good returns policy.

These sound crystal clear - every detail is sharp. The likes of which I have never heard. I was truly stunned.

But, and it is a big but, they were uncomfortable - for me. I developed a hot spot on my head where they rested. The ear padding is not as soft as the Seinheisser Momentum (which are not nearly worth the price IMO) but it was still comfortable after a few hours. I think the padding was adequate around the ears. Due to their slightly heavier weight, they do seem to move more than other headsets when you move your head quickly. My other problem was the lack of foldability - a problem for some and not all. But I want to use these regularly and be happy sliding them in a bag pocket or even a jacket pocket - and these did not allow for it.

Having now purchased the QC 35 II, I can say that the Bose sound good but not as good. I still have even a little discomfort with these (so take my above comment on discomfort in light of this, it might just be my head shape). The ANC is great with the Bose but was equivocal with the PX - but as others note, the sound suffers with the increased ANC settings you use. The intuitive features of the PX were great and I miss them. So the only two reasons I chose the QC 35 II over the PX was the comfort level and the slight reduced size. If these are not an issue to you then I say PX all the way.

Los cascos suenan muy bien, están bastante equilibrados los uso principalmente con AOR y Rock Melódico. La cancelación de ruido es correcta, puedes ir con ellos en el tren sin necesidad de llevar el volumen a toda pastilla.

Les he encontrado dos pegas bastante preocupantes:
El sensor de colocación funciona como quiere y cuando quiere. A veces giras las cabeza y se pausa la música, otras te quitas los cascos y siguen sonando..... Si esta es una característica decisiva, no optes por ellos.
El acabado de la diadema es MUY MALO, tras 5 meses de uso el "nailon balístico" no lo ha sido tanto y se ha empezado a despegar. Estamos hablando de unos cascos de 400€

En resumen. Calidad de sonido Perfecta, calidad de construcción Mejorable

Tras un cambio del producto por los defectos descritos anteriormente hoy han muerto del todo, me explico. Volviendo del trabajo escucho un ruido raro en los auriculares y de repente dejaron de emparejar con los dispositivos. Al principio no encendían, después de hacer varios reset y reinicializarlos desde la aplicación. Cuando por fin consigo emparejarlos de nuevo el botón de apagado y emparejado no responde, tampoco el de subir volumen

Ya tuve malas experiencias con unos BW Zeppelin para el ipod, parece que el mantra se repite con esta marca. Por el mismo precio están disponibles los Sony WH-1000XM3S esperemos que salgan mejor

Incredible pair of headphones! I tried the Sony WH-1000XM3 and Bose QC 35 within this price. I was looking for the best sound quality and was not worried too much about noise cancellation. I had initially avoided the B&W PX due to reviews regarding them being uncomfortable.

I found the sound quality of the sony really didn't warrant the price and was disappointed.

I found the Bose had better sound quality that the sony.

Both of the above I found comfortable although made my ears very warm. Both are quite plasticky.

I thought I would try the B&W PX for myself and I'm so glad I did. The sound quality is incredible and I found them far more superior to the other 2. The noise cancellation is not quite as good as the Bose and Sony but I was not bothered by this. Due to the ear pads being leather rather than pleather, I find my ears don't get as warm. The build quality is considerably better than the other 2.

Was disappointed that they didn't come with a hard case but you can now purchase a B&W PX case from B&W directly.

I can see why people have struggled with the B&W comfort as I do find a slight bit of pressure at the top of my head but not much. I would recommend trying a pair of these on yourself to establish whether or not they are comfortable for you.

If they are comfortable, you will not be disappointed with your purchase.

I write this review after researching and testing a variety of wireless headphones that were available to me as of August 2019. For a quick TLDR I say that: these headphones are excellent and that I recommend them to those who are looking for high fidelity wireless headphones that value sound quality above all else. I will also say that I cannot recommend these headphones for anyone who is seeks high quality noise cancellation.

BUILD:
Of the headphones that I tested, these headphones felt the best built and had a premium quality that justifies its price. The build is primarily metal, with strong plastics that are covered in a 'ballistic nylon' material. This does mean that the headphones are heavier than other sets such as the Bose QC35, NCH-700 and Sony WH1000XM3 (all of which I have tested). The most comparable in build quality would be the Master and Dynamic sets (the MW50/65), which use leather and metal as their main materials. In essence, these are well built and are not prone to cracking or creaking as is the case with other (plasticky) competitors. This was particularly disturbing on the Sony WH1000XM3 which utilized a very low quality plastic that was prone to creak and squeak! Consequently, the PX will likely be more durable and can withstand more 'abuse' than competitors. Overall 5/5 for build and durability on the B&W PX.

Comfort
This is a particularly polarizing issue that I encountered when testing these at my local HiFi dealer (with similar sentiments shared in online reviews/forums). There are two factors at play with the B&W when it comes to comfort: weight and pressure. As a consequence of avoiding a plastic build, the headphones are necessarily heavier than its competitors. This has led to some issues with users who develop pain at the top of their heads from the weight of the set resting on their head. The second issue is the clamping pressure which is admittedly the high when compared to the aforementioned competitor products. This has led some to also develop pain around the ears, with some mentioning headaches. This pressure is not aided by the fact that the earcups themselves are less of a pillow design, and more of a rim/cup design which results in less surface area contacting the area around the ear. Therefore, when you add weight, higher clamping pressure and unconventional cup design it is possible to experience some pain. TO BE CLEAR HOWEVER, I have experienced none of this pain that has been mentioned by others. I have worn this set for a 4 hour listening session and did not experience any discomfort. Evidently, comfort is going to be a VERY subjective matter when it comes to this set and I advise you to try them on before buying if possible. As I said, I did not experience any pain or discomfort, but they do exhibit an overall different 'feel' when being worn, when compared to other headphone sets. Nevertheless, I found them to be comfortable and did not feel that the SONY WH1000XM3 (though much lighter) was any more comfortable. It is because of this negligible difference in comfort that I find the Sony build quality to be inexcusable. Therefore, 5/5 for comfort.

Comfort II (Fitment and Seal)
This is an appendix to comfort: these headphones are highly dependent on maintaining a seal around your ears to sound the best. Since everyone has different head shapes, it is possible that they may seal well with one person and not another. Even though I did not personally have this problem, I still found that over time, the cups would soften and mold to the shape of your head/ear which would maintain a good seal even if you shake your head (which was a minor problem when they were new).

Noise Cancelling
As noted in the title of this review and the TLDR, I chose these headphones for their sound quality and not for their noise cancelling. I was not in the market for a pair of noise cancelling headphones, but instead, for a pair of simple wireless headphones that sounded good. As many know, noise cancelling technology necessarily degrades sound quality and it was for this reason that I was not interested in noise cancelling to begin with. In any case, these headphones do feature noise cancelling of three varieties: office, city and airplane. These are three modes which increase in strength as listed. Overall, I find none of these settings to be particularly effective or convincing. They do not work that well and cannot truly compare to the Bose and Sony varieties. I found the noise cancelling of the Sennheiser M2 to be more effective, even in spite of its age. I also found that the noise cancelling (when on the higher/highest setting) seriously degrades sound quality and is something I would only use in really desperate scenarios. For reference, I find the Bose noise cancelling to be quite effective but also quite strong which gives the 'cabin pressure' feeling. In my opinion, the Sony has the best balance for noise cancelling (even so, Bose does better with some frequencies and worse with others). Quite frankly, I don't think the PX was ever designed to be a NC headphone. 2/5.

UPDATE: After using this headset in vehicular settings, the noise cancelling is not as bad as I previously thought. There are significant differences between the three modes. While airplane mode does degrades the quality, it does well to drown any engine noise. However, the office setting is surprisingly good at silencing the droning sounds of cars and trains and does not degrade the quality as much. I also realize that in some scenarios, it's better to have ANC with worse sound quality rather than no ANC with an engine droning in the background. Still in ordinary ambient settings (such as a coffee shop) the set still struggles to silence voices and 'random/unpredictable' sounds. I therefore raise the rating of noise cancelling from 2/5 to 3/5 stars.

Sound Quality
Here we arrive at the deciding factor for my 5-star review and the factor that mattered to ME the most. Sound quality is indeed very subjective and there are many variables that are at play when it comes to determining what headphone has 'better' sound. There are, however, some objective determinants when it comes to wireless headphones in particular; namely, bluetooth codecs. Without writing a wikipedia entry, the QC35 stream using the lowest quality and necessary codec for bluetooth streaming, which is SBC. This is generally a worse sounding codec that lacks clarity and detail (and the difference is noticeable). The Sennheiser M2 utilizes codecs up to aptX, which is a step above and is a good and prevalent codec that is used in many premium audio headsets. The B&W utilizes codecs up to aptX HD which is yet another step above regular aptX. The Sony utilizes codecs up to aptX, but offers LDAC which is a proprietary SONY codec that offers higher bit-rate streaming which can offer the best detail.

What does all this mean?
Well, in essence it means that the QC35 is not a relevant contender in comparison to the PX. It also means that the Sony technically has the ability to render more detail than the PX. it also means that the Sennheiser fits between the QC35 and the PX, but not up to the heights of the SONY.

All this aside, whether or not you can really hear the difference between LDAC, aptX and aptX HD is hotly contested and it depends on whether you know what to look for and listen to. When it comes to aptX HD and LDAC, I could not discern a difference, despite listening very critically. (The differences could be discerned when comparing LDAC/aptX HD to SBC and aptX - they rendered less detail). In conclusion, from a spec standpoint, the relevant comparison of sound quality is between the Sony WH1000XM3 and the PX.

To put it plainly, the Sony headphone has a consumer sound, while the B&W has a more neutral, balanced (professional) sound. Where the Sony emphasizes bass and treble (producing the common V-pattern), the B&W maintains a more restrained base and treble response. That is not to say that the PX lacks base and treble. What it means, is that the PX presents the music in the way it was recorded. Bass is given where bass is written/played/recorded (and the same for treble). On the other hand, the SONY tends to juice up the bass response to the point that it bleeds into the mids when gives a more muddy sound. This is a particularly big problem if you listen to Jazz, where the stringed basses totally overpower everything else when played through the Sony. It is true that the sony can be EQ'd via the app, but any alteration immediately sets the codec back from LDAC to SBC! This is terrible! Thus, the PX win for overall balance and presentation of sound.

When it comes to soundstage/imaging, the PX also win out over the competition. The sound on the PX is more open and the music will sound as though it's coming from outside of you/around you rather than from in your head. Some people say this gives a tunnel effect or a tube effect, but this is likely because they are accustom to hearing headphones that have narrow images/soundstages which give the music a more upfront and inside-the-head effect. Anyway, when listening to acoustic music (classical, jazz) the PX truly shine. Instruments have good separation and space. It is clear where each instrument and sound is placed in 3D space. This is something that cannot be found in the Sony (though the Sony does this the best out of all other noise cancelling sets).

Aside from frequency response and imaging, I find the PX also have a crisper sound that (while sometimes rolled off) is spacious and gives the perception of higher fidelity sound than the Sony. They are much deeper and less upfront. You can hear distinct layering of sounds that does not occur with the sony.

As an aside, I will add that there is a burn-in that should be considered with the PX. When buying the PX new, they will need to be used for at least 30 hours of playback before they begin to 'open up'. It sounds ridiculous for headphones, but the truth is that they lose their boxy/tube quality once they are used more and more. The bass becomes more prominent and the sound generally becomes deeper and richer. This is something that the Sony's had out of the box, but something that the PX will have to develop over the course of listening. It is the case that my set sounds fairly different after listening for a week, than it did when I first bought them. For this reason, you should give it time if you don't like the initial sound. If you have any B&W speakers or are familiar with the B&W House Sound, then you will like these headphones very much. It is a warm sound that is refined and acoustically accurate.

(While I mainly listen to Jazz and Classical I also listen to rock and other mainstream genres. I found that the PX are particularly good at reproducing natural sounds from instruments in the genres of classical, jazz and rock. Each of these genres sounded demonstrably better on the PX than they did on the Sony. When it comes to Pop and Hip-hop, they are similar to the sony, and the difference is not really discernible. However, the increased bass of the sony may be desirable to some.)

Overall, the PX win out for their exceptional sound quality for a wireless set of headphones. The detail reproduction, soundstage, frequency response coupled with the build makes the PX the best sounding wireless headphone on the market (to my ears at least). These strike the balance between audiophile/critical listening and causal listening headphones perfectly. Highly Recommended!
