was lead to believe that the mid-plate of the housing contained the necesarry pins to go onto the phone...which it does not...its just an empty metal shell....which is false advertising ...due to the pictures shown"

Last year i bought you a bold that was "NEW" and 2 moths later it starts to give all kinds of trouble so i have to pay somenone to fix it for me and when this guy fixes it he tells me that the phone is a refurbished one and you sold it to me as a new one, dont buy from him

Very satisfied with the shipping as it was very fast. Only replaced the benzel until now. Everything is great (the same as description) except the keyboard doesn't fit. A little bit disapointed because I can't change the T-mobile mark on the keyboard :(. But don't want to make a hustle to return it.

Perfect... this item was an exact replacement of the original case and precisely what I wanted. Priced at $5 it was a compelling reason to buy via Amazon compared to buying from the AT&T store at many times the price.

The photos on the product page are absolutely misleading. What you receive is limited to a bare housing without any of the electrical bits shown in the pictures. As for the claims that this is an original Blackberry housing, not a chance. The fitment is off and there is that "Made in China" feel to the quality. Hobbyists may like the idea of taking apart their Bold 9700 bit by bit but this is not what you would have expected going by the photos on the product page. I felt the need to let other consumers know that this item is really a knock-off (a poor one at that) and the pictures are just there to bait you. Stay away folks.

Boo-hoo better off with the 9780, camera's better and just seems to work better overall in all ways. Still a good purchase though.

The company sent a battery that did not work and had water damage. A waste of time and money. Would not recommend using this company

I have had five Blackberries over the years with T-Mobile. Most have been solid and dependable. I especially liked the Curve 8900 and the 8800. They had excellent voice quality. The UMA wifi calling on the Curve was convenient and dependable.I purchased the 9700 for alleged 3G speeds and to use the phone in Japan. I was successful using the phone in Japan, but the speeds do not really qualify as 3g and I have had a number of problems with the phone.In summary:What I like--1. The batter life is decent. Not as good as past Blackberries.2. The keyboard is fine.3. The screen is good resolution but very small.4. Email works fine; this is a given.What I didn't like:1. The 3G is a joke. I've downloaded firmware upgrades twice and the device never really achieves decent speeds--for example, it rarely exceeds 200 kbs. I've tested a Nexus One (not noted for its 3G prowess) next the Blackberry and achieved 2-3 mps.2. There have been a long history of dropped calls and fluctuating receptions levels. The call quality is the worst I have had while with T-Mobile. I like T-Mobile, but they keep suggesting things like a sim swap or firmware upgrade to fix the problems. These approaches have not worked.3. The UMA does not work well. The call transfer from Wifi to Cellular worked well on the 8900 but does not work on the 9700. It causes the phone to freeze or restart.4. The 3 mp camera is no better than the relatively good camera for the Curve 8900, which was probably almost threes year ago. The camera on the Nexus One is much better.5. The browser and internet browsing experience is terrible. Many sites will not load. The screen is too small. Javascript takes forever, and page loading is generally very slow. I've tried Bolt and Opera, which are somewhat better. Also the bookmark system for the standard browser is bad, forcing priority to T-Mobile sites and lacking flexibility.6. I'm a big Audible user to listen to books. The Blackberry application is terrible--it is painfully slow, crashes frequently and is slow to download books, even over Wifi. The music player is also crude and poor.7. The application store is poor compared to Android and nothing at all like the Iphone application store. Apps are the name of the game, and on this issue, Blackberries are severely handicapped.I'm now pushing our company to consider non-Blackberry options. I think many people, having tried the Iphone and Android devices, are sick of Blackberries. The one hook, we will need to overcome, is to have a dependable international email plan.

I didn't realize how handy my Blackberry Bold Case was until I left it on a field after a Flag Football practice. I looked around for the same or similar cases; both on T-Mobiles site and by stopping through Best Buy. The cheapest case was from 20 bucks and up ($31.00 was the highest I'd seen). My case was FIVE DOLLARS in total!!! That included shipping and handling. It arrived about 4 days after I ordered it. Simply put, it was like getting the same case for my Blackberry Bold 9700, because in fact...I did. Bammm! That's it.

Product look new and work fine. But, unfortunatly the 1 GB internal storage memory was not included in the phone as advertised.

The Blackberry has been working good, obviously at first I had to unlock it because when I put my chip on the phone, it did not recognized it. The only complaint that I have is about the charger. It was damaged and I did not know that I was going to receive a "travel charger", I expected the regular one, but what can I do now?That's it.

I bought this item twice and obviously I spoke too soon in my last review. During installation of this product I had to take all the original metal pieces from from the old housing and use them in the new one. None of the new parts worked, this was very depressing. I have frequently ordered from this supplier and this was my first bad review..I look forward to better quality control in the future.

good morning to all three days to have the 9700 bb this product was damaged and would not serve for anything else, according to the technician was not original plate was used ... MA is grateful to have ETHICS AT THE TIME TO SELL A PRODUCT

I brought this because of what i saw on the page which was a full Original Blackberry 9700 housing a fully detailed view of the housing. But when i recieved it, it was totally different "FAKE" and the housing didn't fit my phone. Original Blackberry Bold 9700 Full Housing White

Don't Buy it! It's a FAKE ITEM! It isn't what appears in the picture! But when I recieved it, it was totally different "FAKE" and the housing didn't fit my phone.

After getting out of my car the phone case got caught and the plastic attachment on the back of my case broke and could not be repaired. Most OEM cases were $30 plus and I saw this one on Amazon, used Prime. The case arrived 2 days later. Same OEM for minimal cost and bother for an AT&T BB9700.

Bought this phone directly from amazon and i was impressed.it shipped fast and free.everything in box as it said it would be.it also has 3G frequency 900/1700 and not only 850 as stated in the bio.it was a great buy along with a hard rubber case.will probably buy another one as i sold this to make room for an android.nifty little tool especially for the Caribbean.

I BUY TWO PHONES AND 0NE HAVE A CAMERA ISSUE WHEN I TAKE THE PICTURE THE PHONE RESTARTED, AND THE OTHER DOENST CHARGE DE BATTERY, WIVEROVIA MAKE THE CHANGE BUT DONT PAY THE SHIPTMENT AGAIN TO VENEZUELA, I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN, I REALLY DISSAPOINTMENT!!!

buy this machine thinking it was new but it really is not, is off only when the battery reaches 40 or 50%. send him several times to technical service and did not detect the problem. This publication is false. teams are new on the outside and used inside
