Love these.

Even though it has the clamp, I much prefer using it as a wand. Heard up really quick and comfortable to use. The cable is a decent length as well. Would recommend.

The curls won't stay in on my long hair.

These tongs arrived quickly and are easy to use. I have long layered hair and I'm used to curling my hair with my straighteners.
Usually my curls last 3 days until my next hair wash but with these tongs, they start falling out straight away. My hair also gets trapped in the screw on top of the tong, (that holds the top arm on it) as I turn the tong round.
I've tried taking just 1cm sections to see if curl stays in longer, but after an hour, there's just a wave left then straight again in 2hrs. For long hair, maybe a longer thinner barrel would be better. Meanwhile, I've gone back to using my straighteners.

They work and are a very good price!

Having read many reviews for many curling tongues all with bad reviews (even these ones) I decided to go with them as they are a very reasonable price. I have used them on the second heat setting for fine hair and they seem to be pretty hot so will use at that setting. The instructions do say to start off on low heat depending on your hair and then increase accordingly, therefore I have not used them on the highest setting. You can hold the tip without burning yourself. I need to master how to curl properly but apart from that for the price they are pretty good. With all electrical items it seems it is luck of the draw, I guess I was lucky with these ones!

More of a wave tong than a curler!

I would say this tong creates more of a wave than a curl, which drop out in no time. I decided to return it because I can make tighter curls with my straightener. However It is still really great value for money considering how much other brands charge for the same thing!

Love this item. I'd never curled my hair before ordering this, and it was so simple and easy to use straight out of the box that I got great results in about 10 minutes. I use the lowest heat setting since I have thin, long hair and don't use hairspray and the curls still keep all day. They do fall a bit but I'm not using any product, and the beach-style wave it leaves in my hair can last for days if I don't brush them out. The rubber protector on the end helps loads to stop you burning or catching yourself if you're wrapping the hair manually, and though the clamp does leave a small kink on the ends of my hair it's barely noticeable. The wire does turn freely with the handle, so you're not tangling it trying to twist the tongs through your hair. There's nothing I dislike about this item, it curls my 30 inch extensions in minutes and the results look great even as someone with no practise doing this before. I'd highly recommend them especially for those like me who have never owned curling tongs before.

Love it!

First time I used the product I didn’t like it at all.... ok I was in a bit of a rush so that’s on me.

This is the second time of using and I have to say my opinions changed completely! I’m very happy with the results and I have a lot of hair! Took no more than 20 minutes and this picture was taken 9 hours after doing my hair, so it’s held really well.

My advice to others would be to use larger sections at the back of your head and smaller ones at the front, I also used the roll and drop technique and used my fingers to brush through to create the easy natural wave look. Also let your hair cool before applying any hairspray.

Heats up very quickly, careful while touching the ‘cool end’ as I still burnt my finger!

I have numerous other curlers/wavers and this is by far the best, and it’s also the cheapest that I’ve purchased. Very happy and really surprised with the outcome.

I’d definitely recommend

Short cord not helpful

A really great curling iron if you have a mirror right beside an electrical outlet that you can sit beside. Gets hot super fast and gives really tight ringlets that you can then loosen after your hair cools. I have unreasonably thick wavy medium length hair and this not only gives a clean lovely curl but it holds it as well. The only problem is that I have to sit on the floor with a mirror in front of me to do my hair because the cord is way too short. I didn't notice in the description that the cord is short, so my fault.

i bought them as i went by the reviews on here, but i wished i never took anyone's advice as they never curled my hair at all. i do not recommend this BaByliss Curl Pro 210 Tong, Multicolour. i wished i could afford dyson hair curlers. i hope one day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND THIS IS A TRUE REVIEW.

It works, but not as well as we would have hoped

I bought this for my girlfriend, and while it is able to curl her hair, it does take some effort while her hair slips through the clip.

The clip on this model does not to be tighter in order to hold the hair in place, and the heat output probably also should be higher as he hair does not stay curled for longer than an hour after use.

It does what it's supposed to do, but does it fairly poorly.

Good enough for me

I originally bought these hoping for a wider barrel and a larger curl as my hair doesn't take well to curling. However when they arrived I gave them a chance and they where really easy to use. I was able to curl my very thick hair easily with the temperature changes and was really happy with the result as it was so easy to achieve in a reasonable amount of time. I use good products on my hair and as a result matched with these curlers my hair was styled really well. I was really happy with the product for the price and the delivery was also reasonable. Overall a good product especially for the price. I would recommend to anyone but definitely try out the different temperatures and use good hair styling products.

Great product - 15 mins after unpacking and plugging in, I had transformed my frizzy, unruly mid-length hair into smooth glossy waves. And they stayed in well for a couple of days. Add styling product and the curls stay put for longer. It's a great 'quick fix' before going out, and I like the choice of heat settings, so you can avoid over-cooking your hair - though I wouldn't use it every day as it definitely dries my already dry hair out even more. 4 stars because it takes a while to get used to using it without burning fingers - be careful! Should maybe come with a protective glove... but overall, does what it should, really well.

Отличные щипцы для завивки, но определенно не новые

Ранее я владел этим щипцом (та же модель, куплен у другого продавца), но после многих лет использования он окончательно вышел из строя. Купил этот в качестве замены. Щипцы так же хороши, как и старые, и находятся в рабочем состоянии, но определенно поступили не новыми. На коробке не было ни пломбы, ни внутренней упаковки. Щипцы просто дребезжали в коробке. Это не проблема, так как упаковка все равно была бы утилизирована, но не должна быть указана как "новая", если это не так. Разочаровывающий.

Only slight problem so far is that while holding with curls in place it is quite easy to press the on/off button.
I thought it had stopped working when one side of my hair didn't curl but then realised why!

Avoid this at all costs!!!!!!

I bought these curling tongs after seeing good reviews and because the only thing I ever seem to do with my hair is straighten it. The first time I used them I used the highest setting (my fault) and it singed parts of my hair off. My hair melted onto the tong and my whole house smelt of burning. I blamed myself as I probably should have had it on a lower temp. A few days ago, I tried again in preparation for my hen do. I chose the lowest setting and the same thing happen. Ive lost a massive chunk of my hair from using these tongs but when I use my ghd straighteners, my hair are fine. I will be sending in a complaint but do not buy! These should be not be allowed to be sold to anyone!

Must be a good product but..

This is the first curling tong I ever had. It seems and feels like a good product. It heats up really quickly and the fact that you don't have to hold ur hair while waiting for it to heat up helps not to burn your hand.
However, I think that this product is designed for really long hair..! It's thick and even though my hair is long I'd say (far below the shoulders), I couldn't make it as curly as would like to. The curls you get are quite big so can't have many of them. If I knew I would order a thinner curling tong. This just made my hair wavy-but that's the way they are anyway! I was thinking more of a product that would give me more curls, not just a wavy look. So it depends on what you are looking for I guess.

Really good product

The only slight problem I had (and the reason for 4, not 5 stars) is that the top part of the tong that is plastic gets pretty hot (although not unbearably hot), and also it's a little small...I'm pretty clumsy so this is a bit dangerous for me! Apart from that, the performance is really good, it curls my thick hair really easily. Also, the doubt I had when purchasing was the size of the barrel. This size is perfect for me, my hair at its longest is maybe 1.5 inches below my shoulders, but has layers, the shortest of which being chin-length. I have no problem curling any section of my hair with this curling tong. All in all, it's a great product and is excellent value for money!

Love it

I get great loose curls with this. It heats fast and the LED display is simple to understand and use, along with indicating the temperature the tongs will be at! I only find myself needing to use the lowest setting.

You do have to be careful handling it (obviously), as the toggle(?)/handle for clamping the hair along the barrel will also get heated, and it's easy to accidentally grab the part not protected against heat. But you should be watching your fingers anyway. ;)

Great tong which compares favorably to more expensive products

I have a classic curl tong from a certain very expensive brand and I purchased this for travel because it's so inexpensive that it's no great shakes if it gets lost. I must say, if I'd purchased this first, I might never have tried the more expensive brand. I use both at comparable heat (although the Babyliss does have a variable setting) and I find the curls last longer with this. Whilst the more expensive brand perhaps gives a slightly shinier finish, I feel the Babyliss flattens the hair less and still gives a nice finish - and I say that as somebody with frizz prone hair.

Definitely worth the price!

These would seem to be for Left handers.

I read the reviews & bought these tongs along with some Tresemme tongs. Overall I prefer the Tresemme tongs which were also cheaper. I have used tongs for years so know how to use them but these seem to be more suited to left-handed people. I look in the mirror, attempt to curl my hair but the tongs have not gathered up my hair, a bit ‘Through the Looking Glass’ experience where everything is back to front. I will keep them however as an emergency pair & hope I can manage to get my hair into the tongs to curl it.

Already Used Set

My partner wanted these tongs as her last ones (same make) stopped working after 4 years. All working ok, however, was someone else's return with a hair still in the tongs. She'll keep them after cleaning them as it's her favourite make of tongs and she needed them for tomorrow (same day delivery) but really Amazon! If you're sending out someone else's return, please make sure you aren't sending out someone else's used return!

Have only used this once so far but it’s good. My hair doesn’t hold curls very well but it worked pretty well even without product. My only gripe is that the tong could be a bit longer as with my medium/long hair, I can’t always curl it all in one go. Also the plastic bit on the end for holding could be a bit bigger as I burnt my finger.
Heated up and cooled down quite quickly. Doesn’t come with a heat mat so I’d advise getting one if you haven’t already. Good for the price.

Wouldnt reccomened.

Have used several curlers before and I read the good reviews of these so was hopeful but having tried them I am disappointed. I have long hair and it didnt Curl great at all. My hair with several other curlers usually curls easily but these didn't seem to make a nice Curl. More of a wave than anything. Wouldn't reccomened personally.

I like this curling tong

I like this curling tong. The only suggestion it, watch videos on how to do it properly if you don't know. Previously I had a different model that is used differently, so I didn't know how to get a good shape of my curls and they all came out mostly flat. Once you figure it out, the curls come out great. I usually just put some hair stray straight after, without correcting them. After some time they loosen up and that way you get a longer lasting effect.

No other curler does the job better!

I have used all kinds of curlers, tongs, you name it, I've tried it.. But everytime I find myself going back to this curler. It's just so easy to use. I love that it after I roll my hair on the tong I dont need to use both my hands to keep the hair in place because it already has the grip thingy. I love that I can control the heat settings and I find that my curls stay for many days after whereas with other curlers they would fall back down literally within the hour.

This is a great tong at a great price.
I have tested this on my own shoulder length hair - with great results.I used the tong on me to give height at the crown and an inward curl to the length.I didn't find the tong "caught" or stretched the hair - which gives the item another tick from me. Reasonable priced item - go on treat yourself - also would make a great gift.
My main dissatisfaction is short cord (which is seem not long enough to use and have access to a mirror!)

I bought this curling tong as I didn't want to spend too much, I had a special occasion and wanted a curly style for the day but I don't often style my hair and so spending more would have been a waste. These curlers are great for the price and they did curl my hair really well. I especially like that I can change the heat settings as I have fine hair so I used a lower temperature to prevent damage. They were easy to use, heated up quickly and did produce some lovely ringlets that lasted well.
If you're like me and won't use them that often, or you are a beginner to styling your hair this would be perfect.

Don't let the influencers influence you

I don't curl my hair much so wanted a wand that wouldn't cost too much. I did my research and saw a lot of YouTubers recommending this. Their curls came out nice but for me they are always so loose and just vanish not long later even with hairspray - I'm not new to curling my hair either so I'm pretty sure it's not just me.

The bit that should also hold your hair doesn't - it's loose so I have to use my hand to get my hair to stay in it long enough to curl.

It's also quite a chunky, clumsy design not comfortable in your hand. Don't recommend.

Does what it says, but be careful!

These tongs curl very quickly and have 3 different heat settings, i have only ever used the on the lowest and it works fine. I have short hair and just want body, but I can see that you could get ringlets or bouncy curls on long hair. However, it is very easy to burn yourself! I have burns all over my forehead, both ears and hands, around my thumbs. This could be me being careless but being used to straightening tongs, which are not hot on the non-heating plates, these are hot, very hot, all over and it's very easy to burn yourself!!

although very easy to do

I bought these in the hope they would replace some Remington ones I had that sadly broke. There are a number of temperature settings which is handy and also an on/off button which is additional to my last pair but I'm not sure the curls, although very easy to do, hold as well as my other ones. Even with hair spray they seem to fall out! I will keep trying though and hopefully get there in the end!!

Stopped working after 2 months

I bought a reputable brand of curler after a few cheaper brands only lasted a couple of years... Well the babyliss hit that nail on the head.. it stopped working after 2 months so had to contact for a full refund as it didn't heat up properly

Does what it says on the tin well; it curls my hair. I do the buttons a bit tricky as they are so small and quite flush to the handle but on the plus side it does mean I can't accidentally change the temperature whilst using! I would like it to have some kind of indicator when the temperature is ready but it the grand scheme of things this isn't too big a deal. Light and comfortable to handle.

Amazing results

Pros:
-It heats up in seconds
-It has five digital heat settings so you can choose the one that gives you the best results
-The integrated stand enables you to store it on any flat surface without worrying about burning anything
-The swivel cord enables you to twist and turn the curler in any direction as many times as you want without creating any tangles or twists in the cord
-The safety rubber on the clamp's handle is pretty sturdy and won't fall off unlike with other curlers

Cons:

The only negative feature is that the on/off switch is integrated in the handle, so you have to avoid accidentally hitting the switch whilst curling your hair. However all it needs is a little getting used to. Once you know how to hold it properly, you won't turn it off by mistake.

Edit: It's been a year and a half since I bought these, they're still working perfectly!

I spent ages looking for a decent tong & this is it.
My old tong didn't catch the hair securely until some way up the barrel, which was annoying as I have long hair.
This tong catches the hair all along the barrel.
Curls last a long time.
Lots of heat settings makes it suitable for many hair types.

very good

I have long and abundant but fine hair, and these are excellent. I sometimes have problems with some tongs making my hair smell burnt, and the temp control on these tongs avoid that.

My only niggle is that when turning the barrel I sometimes accidentally turn the tongs off via the very easy to push button, which is annoying as once in your hair you can't really see the light that tells you it's on / off. would prefer a switch vs. a button.
