I bought this monitor because it was relatively inexpensive for the size. I had previously only had a 20" monitor with a 5ms response time. I love this monitor. The colors are amazingly clear and the picture is crisp. I don't have any interweaving when playing games that need a high refresh rate. Definitely a good buy!

I now own two of these and they are both outstanding. The brightness and color really stands out. No dead pixels on either one and the price point was perfect. I considered some of the more known brands, however I am glad I went with Asus as they are really starting to make some great stuff.

I don't know much about monitors, but this one looks good and works great for 200 bucks. and fits my new Asus desktop.

I give it four stars because it came with two dead pixels. Other than that, this monitor is perfect, bright colors, nice size, etc.

Needed the cheapest hd monitor with hdmi input. Put this in the bedroom, on a cable tv box along with inexpensive logitech computer speakers. It works fine, and beats the heck out of the old 16" tv it replaced. The speakers connect via the earphone jack, no adapter needed. It has several video modes (warm, cool, etc.) and the tv controls the volume. Perfect for the application, and great picture. We love it.

The monitor works great after adjusting the brightness and contract to lower settings. The price is good. I recommend it highly.

This replaced a 24 inch LED T.V. that I was using as a monitor.I was just getting used to having "wide screen" for the computerwhen the T.V. died so size wise this is a perfect replacement.It also just looks much better especially while playing games.Using the DVI interface as opposed to the VGA that the T.V.used probably has much to do with that.I've had good success with Asus products so far so I hope thislasts like the others.

I'm a software engineer, so I spend quit a bit of time in front of a monitor. No dead pixels or artifacts that I have noticed. Color seems fine. It seemed to be priced well. I've been using it for several months now. No complaints, and nothing to get overly excited about.

Love the monitor. I bought two for a dual display set up. Unfortunately I also purchased two DVI cables separately because the description did not state that they were included. Cost me another $10 and since I had free shipping for the whole order it did not make sense to return them for a $4 refund once you pay for the return shipping.

It took me a few days to get use to the larger screen and what it did for my desktop icons and other software programs. Now I'm loving the new look. I love that I don't need to wear glasses to see and read text on the screen.

Worth the $175 I spent, but I didn't see the rebate deal until a few days after I bought it. By then I had already thrown away the boxes along with the UPC/Serial Number sticker that's on the box. The rebate requires this before you can be eligible. Despite this, I love this monitor so much that I bought two. They are perfect, simply perfect.

My first HD LED monitor, like the picture quality. There are three stuck pixels though, tried to correct the problem but no luck. Not enough to make me return it but a bit annoying when you're trying to watch a movie.

Well, I too searched and searched and searched for a good monitor to replace my old LCD screen. And after considering all the options available - from any location possible - this monitor was my decision and I'm not disappointed at all. Very, very impressive graphics. I have a Samsung S2333W monitor - which was the 'best' at the time (price / performance) and I then did a side-by-side comparison to this one, the Asus VS247H-P 23.6 inch monitor blows the Samsung away. If you go into iTunes, and start playing a song, then press Control + T, you'll get the Apple iTunes Visualizer. Then press Control + F to go full screen (these commands are listed in their View menu). And that shows the monitor off - how fast it can display the graphics - clearly - without ghosting - and the color and brightness intensities are obvious too - especially in a completely dark room. This monitor really is impressive - and it has a 3 year warranty and comes with both cables included - the DVI & VGA cables are in the box. I was worried about the stand, but of the 3 monitors I have, this one actually is the MOST stable! It rocks the least when you jiggle it back and forth. Great buy - you will be happy with this purchase! I couldn't find anything about this monitor I was unhappy with - 5 stars.

This monitor you just can't beat the price, quality, and the size.The features are great HDMI, DVI, and VGAIt has a very nice look and I enjoy the monitor, Color is Bright, I love the Size, the Style is awesome,Definitely worth the price.

I just received this monitor. It has a Yellow tint on it. No matter how I set it up, the Yellow tint won't go away.Another user left a review mentioning the same issue. After some research I found out that this seems to be a rare issue with the VE series units. I posted a picture of it on Amazon as well. Not sure if I should exchange it or return it.:((

The monitor was up and running as soon as I took it out of the box and attached its cables. It met and exceeded my expectations; especially at the price. It's sturdy and stable in appearance, has excellent picture quality and the wide screen (HD-LED effect) is visually stunning.Cons: sound output is not the greatest and doesn't seem to be that adjustable. External speakers should improve upon that. This will do until i decide what sound quality I will need long term.I would recommend this Monitor to a friend.

Ok so it's gorgeous, but the base is most definitely crooked. My first thought was screwdriver, but after loosening/tightening and other adjustments- it was just as crooked as before. So I thought about returning for about 5 seconds and decided on a piece of rubberized shelf paper under the base, with plans to purchase a VESA mount very soon. Image looks great and no dead pixels. I am wondering about the hideous "Splendid Try Me! sticker on the front, but overall she looks just fine.

Please do not waste your money. This LCD monitor is broken within 4 month.I am connecting my PC to VGA and connecting cable box to HDMI.VGA is still OK. But HDMI is completely balck out now.

I got this monitor at the beginning of April for my birthday. It has a great picture, and never had any problems. I play a bunch of different games so it gets a great deal of use.Until several nights ago I noticed that some pixels decided to stay red. Yup, that's right, almost six months to the day this monitor has at least two stuck pixels. I have tried many of those "fix your own stuck pixels" things but they always come back after a couple hours and are always red. I have another LCD monitor that I have had for years that works great. It is a real shame because I really like ASUS and their products.I suggest going with a different brand of monitor... one that might last longer without problems.

Everything about this monitor is great in my opinion, the colors, LED brightness, response time, except for the fact that whenever I type something, it wobbles back and forth. It is very noticeable for me, and I DO have a sturdy table so that's not the problem. I'm going to have to get a VESA stand, but other than that it's great.

I purchased the monitor to supplement my work space and it is exactly as I expected it to be. The picture is crisp, but the only concern is that the plugs go directly into the back, parallel to the ground. Once I need to mount this on a wall, those connections may become troublesome.

I have owned many high-end monitors over the years, starting in the mid-90s with CRTs and moving into the LCDs of late. I was impressed with the dot pitch, color uniformity, and features with this monitor. Text is quite clear and sharp, I have no problem using this monitor for all my PC viewing.
