Me dejé enamorar por la promesa de que las placas base B450 y B450M de ASUS eran compatibles con Ryzen 3000 y PCI Express 4.0 con una mera actualización de la BIOS. Lo que no dicen es que la placa no viene con la BIOS actualizada y, si no cuentas con un procesador compatible (Athlon o Ryzen 1000/2000) no llega a hacer post ni a arrancar, más allá de luces y ventiladores ya que solo parte la gama alta de ASUS, Crosshair y similares (No Strix) tiene BIOS Flashback USB que te permitiría actualizar la BIOS sin CPU.
O sea, por falta de comunicación me he pasado una semana y he estado una tarde intentando arrancar una placa "muerta" hasta darme cuenta de ello. Por menos precio MSI tiene placas base con el mismo chipset, con mejores disipadores de color, más USBs y BIOS Flashback, y con una aplicación RGB menos cutre.
Llevo 10 años usando productos ASUS y ésta es la primera vez que me decepcionan y he visto una falta de comunicación tan bestia de la marca, he tenido 4 placas base y 3 GPUs de ASUS, todas de media o alta gama y soy un ferviente defensor de sus productos, pero esta nueva gama TUF es un petardo de proporciones descomunales. Tampoco viene ni con LEDs de diagnóstico, y los disipadores se notan baratos y la mitad son decorativos (de plástico). En la caja solo viene un manual minimalista que no te indica el interfaz I/O o los posibles errores o troubleshooting (te remite a la web).
En fin, me ha extrañado muchísimo este bache por parte de ASUS. Me paso a MSI para mi placa en los próximos años.

L'expérience avec cette carte mère a été la pire que j'ai connu de toutes mon existence alors que ça fait des décennies que je monte moi-même mes PC.
Déjà, il n'y quasiment aucune documentation papier et donc il faut aller les rechercher sur internet et si vous n''avez pas déjà de PC fonctionnel vous allez clairement galéré surtout que la documentation en ligne n'est pas des plus fiable, en particuliers pour le branchement des Pins, dont le Power Switch qui est indispensable pour le démarrage de la carte mère, mais avec un branchement en dépit du bon sens.
Cette CM AM4 est supposée fonctionner avec des AMD Ryzen 1 et 2 et donc avec les RAM en adéquation, alors qu'en réalité elle n'accepte pas les barrettes mémoire de 16 Go, ni les barrettes de 8 Go égales ou supérieures à 3000 Hz !
J'avais commandé en même temps un Ryzen 7 3700X avec deux barrettes mémoire de 16 Go en 3200 Hz, ainsi qu'une carte graphique.
Et comme la carte mère refuse de démarrer ni d'obtenir le moindre affichage il est impossible d'accéder au BIOS et par conséquent de flasher un nouveau BIOS pour peu qu'il en existe un...
Donc, dans un premier temps, j'ai pensé qu'il y avait un problème avec la carte graphique et j'en ai recommandé une deuxième sans plus de succès, et donc j'ai re-commandé deux barrettes mémoire en 2x8 Go toujours en 3200 Hz, mais là encore aucun affichage possible alors que le ventilo du Ryzen 7 avait fini par fonctionner lui.
J'ai failli commander une autre alimentation, pensant que les 450 W était insuffisante, mais au final et pour ne pas perdre plus de temps, j'ai commandé une autre carte mère équivalente mais de marque MSI et là tout c'est débloqué d'un seul coup et tout a fonctionné du premier coup.
Donc, si c'est pour faire fonctionner des Ryzen deuxième génération avec de la RAM au rabais en 2400 Hz ou dans le même genre, ça n'en vaut absolument pas la peine !
Seuls les RGB font illusion avec plein de couleurs dans tous les sens, mais si la CM ne fonctionne pas et refuse de démarrer elle ne sert absolument à rien sauf éventuellement pour une déco de Noël...

first off, mine had already been opened by someone despite being sold as "new". The seal was broken and it had the instruction manual for someone else's ATX case in the box and the warranty card was missing.
I had waited SO LONG for this to arrive (two failed orders) that I decided to persevere with this one. these boards were flashed with a new bios after leaving the factory to make them compatible with Ryzen3000 series and I told myself that was why it appeared to have been tampered with... although not likely... :[
The issue started when the system would not reliably post and sometimes needed one or two hits of the reset button before it would post and boot up. not fun at all. especially with how much of a chore motherboard swaps and RMA processes are. I wanted to try everything possible to avoid returning this.
now the weird bit was that the board seemed to have the wrong bios installed. something I thought was impossible until I witnessed it. (verified by a friend as well) The one installed seemed to be for the ATX version. mine was the mATX.
EZflash said the bios was up to date despite the ASUS support website showing two newer ones. Easy flash refused to accept the bios files I down loaded from ASUS. saying it was the wrong type. I gave up but came back to it a few weeks later and found a new bios version had been released so I downloaded and tried again. (v2202)
to my amazement, delight and relief this one was accepted and the bios flash completed successfully!
The board now posts and boots reliably and everything is stable and fine. I'm happy now but wish it hadn't been such a hassle. I have to give the ASUS support site a C- pages not loading and generally being unreliable. I swear their server is hosted on a dial-up connection.

Excellent motherboard, booted first time as expected.
Updating the BIOS is much easier to do on this board compared to the older ASUS boards. This one allows you to update it via the internet. This feature has been about for years, but I never had much success with this and had to do it manually, but this one works perfectly and updated automatically directly from the BIOS.
Very stable no issues with random crashes, my only gripe is the motherboard only has 2 fan headers, which meant I had to buy a dedicated fan controller hub.

Perfect motherboard for my money. Built it a few days ago and it is working fine with no issues whatsoever. Built it with a ryzen 3800x in a microatx build. My only personal dislike is my own fault, which is I failed to see just how small microatx actually is. However I'm fine with it, everything works as it should, including the motherboard. Five stars, totally recommended for Ryzen builds

Recognised my 2700x with no problems!
Has lots of options on BIOS (eg option for the USB to provide power when the computer switches off). Using for charging phones overnight for example.
2x M.2 is really nice. But what is the point of the 5th/6th SATA ports if they are disabled by installing a M.2 drive? Who even needs 6 drives?
The onboard RGB strip is okay, the LEDs are really bright from below. Some cases would make these lights very harsh by reflecting it. I have no idea why the default settings would leave the onboard RGB strip on when the computer is off. These are problems for me as I have my computer in my bedroom and I can't sleep with RGB lights on my eyeballs!

100% estable, buen diseño, buen material..
Lo único que no consigo poner la RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX - Módulo de Memoria XMP 2.0 DDR4, 3200 MHz, C16) a 3200, casca W10 y no arranca, tengo que bajarla a 3000 para que vaya estable.
No sé si será que la placa no lo aguanta, que hay algo incompatible, o que no doy con el perfil, pero da igual, va todo muy fino.
IMPORTANTE: el procesador AMD Ryzen 7 2700X lo reconoce a la primera, sin actualizar BIOS, la gente que le haya dado problemas tal vez sería que la mía venía actualizada (comprada 25/09/2019)

lässt sich nicht installieren unter Windows 10 1903.18362.175x64.
Fehlermeldung: OS wird nicht unterstützt in dieser Version. Ist die aktuellste Windows 10 Version.
Ist schon etwas traurig ein aktuelles OS nicht zu unterstützen.
ASUS habe ich dazu angeschrieben 2 mal, keine Antwort bis auf eine Mail das meine Frage angekommen ist!
Nach Oktober 2018 Upgrade fehlt Im Soundbereich DTS als auswählbare Verbindung
dieses Problem mit ASUS seinen modifizierten Avance Logic Codecs "S1150A" und "S1220A" ist leider bekannt. Die Begründung ist, dass dieser modifizierte Chip inkompatibel ist in einigen seiner Zusatzfunktionen zu den Realtek-Treibern. Windows aktualisiert während dem Upgrade-Vorgang die Treiber, die meisten zumindest, die Audio-Treiber zählen dazu. Windows installiert die Realtek-Treiber von Datenbank, auch die DTS/Dolby-Pakete, diese trotz Modifizierung nach Windows Driver Model (WDM) mittlerweile noch an Funktionen einbüßen. Jedoch verwendet ASUS eigens modifizierte Schnittstellen für seine Funktionen wie den Codecs, daher bieten die Realtek-Treiber nur eine unvollständige Funktionalität.
Und noch ein Problem mit der Lighting_Control_1.07.66 Treiber/Software

funktioniert unter der aktuellen Windows 10 Version:

Jetzt haben wir Juli, wie lange dauert das bitte? Und die Vorabversionen des OS waren ja für die Hersteller schon lange zur Verfügung.
Unter diesen Bedingungen ist dieses Board mangelhaft weil die Hardware nicht funktioniert auf Grund der fehlenden Unterstützung durch funktionierende Treiber für das aktuelle OS!
ASUS scheint auch langsam immer mehr in der Qualität nachzulassen bei der Unterstützung seiner Produkte.
Und wie geschrieben der Support ist sehr langsam, nach 5 Tagen dann eine Antwort das das OS ja neu ist in dieser Version und an den Treibern gearbeitet wird. Das reicht mir nicht dann ständig alle 6 Monate auf aktuelle und funktionierende Treiber und Apps zu warten bis schon die nächste BUILD des OS herauskommt. Man kann auch Treiber und Apps so entwickeln das diese grundsätzlich funktionieren und leicht angepasst werden können in kürzester Zeit.
Die neueste Buils stand in der Entwicklung den Herstellern ja schon vorab zur Verfügung.
Hätte man sich gekümmert würde so was nicht vorkommen. Für diese schlechte Leistung bin ich dann nicht gewillt teilweise sehr teure ASUS Produkte zu kaufen. Das Board musste ich aus genannten Gründen zurück geben.

Lo primero, si tienes que comprar una TUF, que sea la PRO, nunca la PLUS. La PRO tiene buenos VRM (Tanto en los Vcore para el procesador, como en el SOC, especialmente útil para las gráficas integradas), pero en la PLUS son patéticos.
Dicho esto, la MSI Mortar MAX sigue siendo mejor opción. Salvo que no esté disponible (como fue mi caso), o a un precio muy superior (Ahora mismo la MSI cuesta 5€ menos que esta), coge siempre la Mortar MAX, porque los VRM son iguales o mejores (salvo en el SOC, pero como ya digo, solo es importante para las iGPU de los Ryzen 2200/2400/3200/3400g), vienen actualizadas para Ryzen 3000 en todos los casos -esta ya venía, porque la compré un año después de que saliesen, pero no siempre se asegura-, y tienen una ROM para la BIOS de más capacidad.
¿Por qué la capacidad de la ROM es importante? Como AMD ha dado soporte a los procesadores de tres generaciones, se requiere mucho más espacio en la placa base para actualizarlas y que todos las CPU sean compatibles. Algunos fabricantes han dejado de dar soporte a las CPU antiguas en las nuevas versiones para que todas quepan. Las MAX de MSI tienen una ROM mucho más grande para que puedan soportar todas las CPUs. Es el motivo por el cual Asus ha lanzado la TUF Gaming B450M-Pro II, por ejemplo, a mucho más precio -que de nuevo, no merece la pena-
Los nuevos Ryzen 5000 que saldrán en noviembre de 2020 serán otra remesa más de CPUs que provocará problemas en las placas base.
Lo bueno es que tanto MSI como Asus han prometido soporte a las nuevas CPUs en sus b450/x470 -para enero de 2021-, pero ya veremos qué problemas surgirán.
Es por ello que, aunque esta placa base sea buena, si encuentras la MSI b450m MAX a similar precio, ve a ella. La TUF B450M-Pro II es la opción equivalente, pero veo que cuesta 133€ ahora mismo, así que salvo que baje de precio, ni me lo plantearía.
Dicho todo esto, si en tu caso te da exactamente igual actualizar, y únicamente quieres un PC al que ponerle un Ryzen 2000 o 3000 y olvidarte, entonces esta es una opción perfectamente viable y que no te dará problema.
Como nota a agradecer, el I/O Shield es negro, con el distintivo TUF, no esos metálicos estándar que Asus acostumbra a acompañar con sus placas base más baratas.

¿Por qué la capacidad de la ROM es importante? Como AMD ha dado soporte a los procesadores de tres generaciones, se requiere mucho más espacio en la placa base para actualizarlas y que todos las CPU sean compatibles. Algunos fabricantes han dejado de dar soporte a las CPU antiguas en las nuevas versiones para que todas quepan. Las MAX de MSI tienen una ROM mucho más grande para que puedan soportar todas las CPUs. Es el motivo por el cual Asus ha lanzado la TUF Gaming B450M-Pro II, por ejemplo, a mucho más precio -que de nuevo, no merece la pena-
Los nuevos Ryzen 5000 que saldrán en noviembre de 2020 serán otra remesa más de CPUs que provocará problemas en las placas base.
Lo bueno es que tanto MSI como Asus han prometido soporte a las nuevas CPUs en sus b450/x470 -para enero de 2021-, pero ya veremos qué problemas surgirán.
Es por ello que, aunque esta placa base sea buena, si encuentras la MSI b450m MAX a similar precio, ve a ella. La TUF B450M-Pro II es la opción equivalente, pero veo que cuesta 133€ ahora mismo, así que salvo que baje de precio, ni me lo plantearía.
Dicho todo esto, si en tu caso te da exactamente igual actualizar, y únicamente quieres un PC al que ponerle un Ryzen 2000 o 3000 y olvidarte, entonces esta es una opción perfectamente viable y que no te dará problema.
Como nota a agradecer, el I/O Shield es negro, con el distintivo TUF, no esos metálicos estándar que Asus acostumbra a acompañar con sus placas base más baratas.

Tuve que actualizar la BIOS para que reconociera un ryzen 3000, una vez realizado llevo ya casi un año sin ningún problema. Le doy bastante uso a diario jugando.

Es una maravilla,me dejó hacer oc a las Ram hasta los 3466 estables, informó tengo unas crucial élite de 3600mhz CL16,me conformo con eso de momento, en un futuro le meteré el 7 3700x y por ahora tengo un 5 1500x y con un voltaje a 1.2 y baja a 1.8 1.9 solo siendo muy estable a la frecuencia de fábrica, recomiendo 100%

Una gran placa y de buena calidad. He actualizado la bios con un ryzen 2600x y he colocado después mi ryzen 5 3600. La placa base funciona fenomenal. Bios muy intuitiva y los perfiles XPM para la ram funcionaron a la primera. Recomiendo su compra.

For this price point, this mb seems perfect .
2 m2 slots, 4 ddr4 slots, nice audio chipset, passive cooled VRM.
I put on it a Ryzen 5 2600x with a Bequiet Dark Rock TF, 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX and an EVGA GTX 1070ti.
All is running absolutely fine.

Muy buena placa base, en este caso me vino abierta la Caja pero supongo que es porque les actualizan la bios para que soporte los ryzen 3000, así que perfecto, viene de fábrica ya preparada, tiene puertos m2, un PCI express reforzado para las gráficas más pesadas, buena refrigeración y incluso trae unos stickers para la pila, y algunas pegatinas.

Je voulais monter un PC pour la télé, avec un AMD Ryzen 5 3400G. La carte mère est effectivement mise à jour pour supporter la génération des Ryzen 3000 mais ça fonctionne sur 3 pattes et le CPU tourne carrément moins bien que sur une carte mère dédiée nativement aux 3000. Par ailleurs, la Vega intégrée encaisse des bugs audio car la carte mère encore une fois n'est pas à la hauteur. Vous ne ferez que gaspiller votre argent. Attendez un peu et prenez une vraie carte mère pour Ryzen 3000, ce que j'aurais dû faire d'ailleurs. Et maintenant c'est trop tard pour la renvoyer. Je suis dégoûté.

Placa de buenisima calidad/precio, recomiendo su compra, bios de gran capacidad y rgb en la parte inferior derecha en la placa, tiene usb de tipo C, buen diseño, materiales, disipador en la zona de las VRM de buena calidad, por lo demas tal y como dice la descripción del producto. En comparación con sus competidores tiene una gran calidad de componentes.

Placa compacta bastante completa. Mejora al modelo Tuf B450 Plus en que tiene un disipador para los mosfets adicional y que cambia la posición del puerto pci-e pequeño, de forma que puedes poner una gráfica y una tarjeta wifi.

Dommage que cette carte ne dispose pas de plusieurs connecteurs Fans, juste le CPU Fan et é Fans chassis.
Il faut donc utiliser des spliters.
Point important, elle est arrivé en Bios 2006 le dernier en date chez ASUS.
J'ai pu mettre directement mon Ryzen 7 2700x sans avoir à update le Bios !
C'est vraiment un bon point car je n'avais pas d'autre processeurs au cas ou.
Il faut donc utiliser des spliters.
Point important, elle est arrivé en Bios 2006 le dernier en date chez ASUS.
