Una buena placa ideal para los Ryzen de 3ra y 4ta generación. Yo recomiendo que se compren esta placa si lo único que quieren es armar una computadora para gaming y overclocking.
Como dije, esta placa tiene la peculiar característica que su chipset está lista para la tercera generación de los Ryzen, sobre todo están listos para usarse cuando salga la 4ta generación. Por lo que esta placa les puede durar bastante tiempo antes de tener que actualizar de placa

Me ha tocado una tarjeta defectuosa, da la curiosidad de que se me ha estado reiniciando, ya la hice pruebas de rendimiento y en dado tiempo se reinicia sola, las temperaturas no pasan de 50 grados, también ya hice pruebas con los demás componentes y todos funcionan correctamente. incluso al tratar de escribir esta reseña se me reinicio inesperadamente la pc u.u. ya he solicitado la devolución. En cuanto tenga novedades estaré actualizando.

Una maravilla de Mobo
Su calidad precio vale totalmente la pena, aunque sugeriría que si tienes un poco más de dinero, cómpratela con el chip de wifi si es que tu módem está lejos de donde pondrás tu PC. Si no esta mobo con un cable ethernet, nunca volverás a tener bajones de internet en la vida.

Bien, a secas.
Retire mi vieja PC que constaba de un i5 con mobo Gigabyte. La verdad, creo que no hay punto de comparación entre mi vieja mobo y esta nueva ASUS, tanto como el menú del BIOS, conectividad y overclocking, se lleva por mucho a esta ASUS. No es nada intuitiva y el BIOS se ve muy tosco a diferencia de Gigabyte.
El manual tiene una falla garrafal en las instrucciones para conectar la fuente de alimentación, se requiere de conectar tanto el conector de 24, 8 y 4 PINs si se decide usar el video integrado, de lo contrario no dará señal de video. En el manual dice que se conecta el de 8 o 4 PINs, pero no los dos. Lo que no explica el manual es que el conector de 4 PINs alimenta el video integrado, si este no esta conectado, la mobo no dará señal de video.
No es mala, pero esperaba mas calidad por parte de Asus. Hasta el momento mi ensamble funciona sin problemas, esta bien "a secas", funciono muy bien con Ryzen 5 serie 5000 y memorias XPG Spectrix D60G de 3200Mhz.
Si tuviera que cambiarla, no dudaría en comprar una Gigabyte.

This product will drive you nuts I've been at it for a few hours now and Intel i225-v drivers will not install. I don't recommend buying this baord. Right now my computer is a useless as a brick no internet. May have to buy external ethernet which sucks cause I really wanted 2.5 Gbps ethernet.

I ordered the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming motherboard after doing a LOT of research and comparing the features and capabilities and the VRMs of this motherboard with others, and I must say it's one of THE BEST B550 motherboards out there.
You might be saying that it's 1500 bucks costlier than other motherboards with same or better features than this, but the quality of ASUS motherboards is top notch and is totally worth it. My previous motherboard was also an ASUS. It was an Asus Sabertooth Z97 MARK 2 and it lasted me more than five years. Also, in my opinion, nothing beats the software provided by ASUS. Their bios updates, AI Suite 3, Armoury Crate, Aura Sync and Aura Creator are TOP NOTCH. It's because of this motherboard and Aura Sync (locked to Asus) that I was able to very easily control all the RGB in my PC with just a single software (Aura Sync). I have attached quite a few pics. All my friends are jealous! :D
Anyways, I'm super happy that I went with ASUS and my personal thanks to Amazon and the seller, Official Digital Vengeance, for helping me get this awesome motherboard. FIVE STARS all the way!

Updated the bios prior to installing any components and everything is working fine.
The only catch with the motherboard is networking issues with the latest intel networking driver, rolling back to 25.0 seems to have solved the issue.

I bought it in August 2020, everything is still working quite well and I had no problems with it at all. (December 30th, 2020).
I mounted it with Ryzen 5 3600, and RTX 2070.
Just don't forget to update the BIOS before installing windows.

Edit: Some dude gave it a 1 star rating who isn't a verified purchaser, and reviewed before these boards even shipped. Board is great build quality for those who are skeptical.
First off, I want to say that I only ordered this board since a pre-order for another B550 fell through and this was the next available. With that said, I received this board today and finally put my upgraded components that were sitting on my desk for 2 weeks to use.
The board quality is amazing. The AM3+ board I was replacing was paper thin in comparison to this ASUS ROG board. The thing is solid. This board has plenty of features and is well worth the extra cost over some cheaper entry level B450 or B550 boards. You simply get what you pay for. This is paired up with a 3700x and runs butter smooth.
Looks are great, sleek dark matte black board with your typical ROG logos and a subtle yet not so subtle RGB logo. The one thing I will note, is that the rear case fan blocks about 20% of the RGB logo. For me, this is not a deal breaker.
UEFI Bios... my windows 10 install was not compatible with a UEFI bios, and wouldnt locate a boot drive. I had to build up my old computer with spare components to boot to convert my windows install to UEFI compatible. There are great help threads I used to get through this. I didn't notice a "Legacy boot" option in the Bios to let me be able to boot into Windows and change it there. If I didn't have another computer, this would have been a big issue. So, convert your windows install to UEFI before installing the new hardware.
Packaging was sleek, came with everything necessary. I just wish motherboard boxes would come with chassis screws. I had to find some spare ones going from mATX to ATX.
Overall happy with the purchase and it's a very sturdy and pretty product.

everything went well with the install of this board ..other than the ethernet drivers. updated windows 10 pro and searched the web for it but they cant be found. ( if you have them let me know) but other than that it works like it should. i had to get a pci-e ethernet adapter to get online. cheap but it works . would much rather have the built in ethernet solution though..

Very nice gaming board, for entry level price you will get a lot. The features that make me like the board the most is the sound dac. The sound is great coming from 180 dollar board. The aura sync working fine, just needed some tweaking. Only downside is no TPM header. The Armoury Crate software is nice touch to work with the RGB settings. There is quite few options to customize yours RGB experience. For M2 SSD there is a small screw adapters in the box to adjust the M2 position.

Overall this is a great motherboard but beware of existing network adaptor driver issues. When I installed Windows 10 from an existing disc I purchased in 2018, I was unable to install the network driver. After countless attempts to resolve (drivers from ASUS/windows update) I found on a forum that another user created a Windows 10 USB install (Updated with latest install from microsoft) and that was the only way to fix this issue. Tech support on the phone with ASUS is of little help and it is a well known issue with this motherboard (at least from what I am reading). My 3 star rating is due to the headache of having to do this research to a problem that should never happen from a company like ASUS.

I bought this motherboard as an upgrade for my partner with a ryzen 3600. No issue starting up and install was a breeze.
***Until 2nd ram, slot just outright died. I don't know what to say but 1st and 3rd worked fine as of right not but since 1 slot died for no reason I had to re-seat the cooler which is no issue. Just a RAM slot on a NEW motherboard DIED 20 mins running. I found out easily testing 1 stick on 4th slot with both sticks and system turned on just 1. The amber O-led for ram was very important. Thank you Asus it did help but yer book says nothing on how to trouble shoot it. ***
Besides the 1 hour long troubleshooting for a brand new issue I never encountered on a new piece of hardware. The system runs so dam fast.
I can only nicely dock 1 star cause overall the features on the board are nice. Lan drivers from armory crate are very convenient. Already attached I/O shield is the best thing ever similar to gigabyte. No wifi is a meh but good to have x1 slots for wifi cards. Very stiff board and no issues with any of the pins for fan headers or usb.

I don't doubt this is a good board, but I think it's fair to report to any prospective buyer that mines was defective on arrival. The motherboard would get stuck in a boot loop, meaning the qled indicators would cycle yellow/red/white continuously until I manually turned off the power supply. But it would boot up randomly maybe 1/10 tries, and I was successfully able to install Windows, update the bios, drivers and other software for all components. But even after that, shutting down and restarting went back into the boot loop. Tested by using a spare gpu and psu from another working build, still no normal boot. Asus tech support worked with me and determined the motherboard was defective. Amazon is issuing a refund, and I'm repurchasing the same model. Like I said, I believe this will be a solid motherboard when it works, I was just unlucky to get a defective one from the factory. I have an Asus Prime x570 in my other build, and it runs the system perfectly. Will post an honest review of the next one I get as well.
Update: 2nd mobo came in and was installed and ran normally as hoped. PC posted and had to reinstall the OS and all drivers and software again, but after that it worked like it should. Great mobo, good amount of fan headers to meet most users' needs, a-rgb port is nice to have, solid build. Would buy again for another PC. Random defective products happen to all manufacturers, it's how the company deals with the unfortunate customers who receive them, and my experience with Asus and Amazon have earned them a repeat customer.
