this motherboard is a excellent investment cuz with my stock cooler phenom ii 955 be i got 3.7ghz easily the only problems is overclocking the integrated gpu with asus turbo v software doesn't work properly but the rest is good i can play any actual game in low- medium quality with the integrated gpu

I bought this for a new build recently only to be left disappointed. It may be a great board if they worked correctly consistently. It has a lot of nice features that I was looking forward to playing with, but that ended up being short lived. Unfortunately it has a fair share of problems. From day one it was never stable. HDMI never did work on it, with all drivers installed. If it went into sleep mode, it would not come out of it and would not power off. Had to turn off the main power switch or unplug it to shut it down. Come to find out this is common with this board, change settings and try to accept the fact that your brand new board cannot wake up out of sleep mode. A couple days later I turned it on and monitor said no signal, just like it was in sleep mode..again. It would not post or boot at all. Researched it at Asus support forums, again...another common problem with this board and no sign of solution. Contacted Asus for RMA, they want more money for me to ship it to them. Save the trouble and take advice from many of the users who have ran into problems, avoid this board and buy another manufacturers product.

This motherboard was very easy to install into my computer and hook up. It has a lot of features on it to accomodate pretty much everyone that needs a motherboard. There are options right on the motherboard for overclocking, but i dont wanna do any of that so i cant tell you how that is. BIOS was very easy to setup and update. Would recommend this highly.

This board is awesome. It has so many features that I will not need to upgrade for awhile. The price for this board is a bargin which includes USB 3.0. I won't use the Crossfire on board because I will add a second Nvidia card in SLI. I will eventually go to a 6 core when prices come down. Glad it was an ATX! The PC express slots are far enough apart that I can easily insert two large video cards and still have access to other PCI slots. Great board for the price. I just finished putting together new PC. If i knew what this board could do I'd get Phenom 2 965 with ONLY 2 cores open. AS THE OTHER 2 WOULD SIMPLY UNLOCK THEMSELVES WITH A PUSH OF A BUTTON.. :)There is waay to much to list but if your on a BUDGED THIS BOARD IS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!UPDATE update UPDATE wow WOW wow. THE INTERNAL VID CHIP IS OC STABLE AT 1520. IT HELPS A LITTLE MY OLD hd 5850 ATI XFX TO RUN TOGETHER FOR EVEN BETTER GRAPHICS. I CANT BELIVE MOST OF THE NEW GAMES STILL RUN SUPER. AA IS ALWAYS OF AND vSYNK IS ALLWAYS ON AND IT LOOKS UNREAL. AND OLD AMD PHENOM965 (BLACK} IS OC'd FROM 3.4 TO NOW ALMOST 4.0 AND IT HAS NOGH POWER TO PULL IT ALL :) EVEN THOUGH IT CAN GO WAY HIGHER :) I WONDER HOW LONG TILL I GET A NEW RIG FOR GAMES ?AMD AND ASUS ALL THE WAY.......... :) THANK YOU.

Board isn't bad except one thing that I can't seem to figure out regardless of any updates. Sound turns choppy when any audio player program isn't on the main screen.

I bought this MBoard to replace my 1 yr old board with 1 pci slot. the new board had 2 and 2 pci express slots for 2 video cards. I use 1 vid card and the slot for 1 vid card is so close to the pci slots I can only use 1 slot and I wanted to use my sound card and wireless card but can't. Otherwise is a good MBoard

Bought this for my custom build with the AMD Phenom II X6 processor. I also added the Corsair H70 liquid cooler to the CPU with no difficulty. Overclocks like a charm, was easy to figure out even considering that I haven't ever done it before. Overclocked from 3.2Ghz to 4.2Ghz in moments. Fast and easily upgradeable motherboard!

AMD Phenom II X4 965 cpu combined with this board, 16gb ram and two solid state hard drives in a raid 0 configuration rock! I've put this through its paces and have had no issues so far. The bios is quite advanced as is the board, SATA 6gb and USB 3. The on board graphics are really quite good, crisp images and decent clarity. All round, this has made my computing experience a whole lot more pleasurable and I am happy with this purchase.

Absolutely Zero issues. Been using for a month with modest, 10%,overclocking. No issues of any kind. After more than 30 years dealing with PC's, this was the easiest build mostly due to this mobo.Update: It's now been three months. Still no issues. Plan on adding a Linux partition soon to better take advantage of the four core 64 bit processing compared to the Windows XP this is currently running. Have to keep the Windows for the kids' games. Yes, I've been dealing with PCs 30+ years since BEFORE the IBM PC with a 4.77Mhz 8088 CPU or the Apple on a plywood mobo. Makes me feel old...Would like to try a 6Gb/s drive, but can't justify it now. Maybe when a drive in another machine dies I can move some around.

No trouble with peripherals or Windows 7. I did have to do a little tweak though: disable one of the 2 audio drivers (HDMI or Realtek). I disabled the Realtek one, and after I did that, it's been smooth running with no crashing. However, whatever HDMI signal it's sending out does not play nicely with my A/V receiver (I often have to hard reset my CPU several times before my receiver will recognize the signal). The overclocking is simple. However, since I have to hard reset too often, it messes with that, so I haven't been doing it. This was my first build, and this motherboard has proved to be a good choice.Also, the community on the Asus support forums is great. Just about any problem can be solved by people on there.

Nice Motherboard,had everything I needed for my wifes computer and so far after a month its working fine and the price was awesome,thats the best thing about it.Amazon delivers fast and will take care of any problems with any item you may have.

I read up on this board and it was a resonable buy. After 8 months one of the cores died and it no longer boots. I was using this machine for work and thank god I have backed it up. I am done with Asus.

I bought this board from another vendor. I am sending it back to Asus for the 3rd time now.Buy another brand, there is something very wrong with these.

Is completely unstable,I DID TEST WITH DIFFERENT PROCESSORS, DIFFERENT RAM, DIFFERENT POWER SUPPLY ETC... FREEZE ALL THE TIME!!!AND NOW I AM WORKING WITH A GIGABYTE 770TA 50 DOLLARS CHEAPER AND WORKS PERFECTLYI LIVE IN COLOMBIA AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO RETURN THIS PRODUCT IN U.S.A. ASUS THANKS I lost 150 DOLLARS
