Отличная модель
- + Встроенная графика очень даже ничего. Много USB и много SATA. Очень удобна в монтаже.
- - Не обнаружил... Через два года встроенный звук перестал работать.
Доволен покупкой.Оверклокерские возможности у ней воистину огромны... но... вопрос в том, будете ли вы ими пользоваться?
Уже 2019, а у меня эта материнка и вполне себе. Встроенный звук только "накрылся".Но это не беда, Звук от дискретной карты или от видео, тоже дискретного. Писал отзыв давно, но его отклонили, видимо, показался не информативным. Теперь решил дополнить. Куплена карта в 12-ом, апгрейд только добавлением оперативки. С феномом 925 отлично и по сегодняшний день. Мои потребности удовлетворяет полностью.

- + Пока работает, уже 2 года.
- - Плохая совместимость с памятью "Kingston" (память видит, а грузится не хочет).
Если устанавливать на материнскую плату одну видеокарту, то нужно её устанавливать в нижнюю PCI-16, где вентилятор от видеокарты, горячим потоком воздуха будет раскалять жёсткий диск.
И главное, попробуйте на официальном сайте "ASUS" получить тех поддержку на их
продукт???

- + Сборка и система охлаждения на 5, если сидеть на встроенной видюхе-то всё будет ок. Отличный разгонный потенциал, Атлон 2 х3 450 стал Феном 2 х4 950
- - Не запустилась с двумя планками памяти, пришлось одну вытащить, но если на других матерях такой глюк проявляется только при первом запуске, то на этой при выключении электроэнергии опять приходится вытаскивать...

- + Причины приобретения мною:
1.платформа AM3 (собирать на AMD дешевле и практичней Intel)
2.Функция разблокировки спящих ядер процессора (2х ядерный Phenom II превратил в 4х ядерный, опять же экономия)
3.Встроенная видео HD 4290 (самое мощное встроенное на момент покупки, достаточное для большинства игр)
4.CrossFire X (пусть даже и dual: x8, и то это задел на будущее, пока хватает встроенного видеоадаптера)
5.память DDR3 до 16Гб
6.USB 3 (на будущее)...

- + хорошая модель удобная в сборке, отлично разгоняется все даже встроенное видео. Много всяких примочек типа UBS3 и SATA6, MemOK очень пригодилась, порадовало присутствие IDE шлефа в комплекте. Всё подключилось и запустилось с первого раза.

- + их много) для начала оверклок:
1) разогнал свой феном два х6 с 2.8 до 3.8 дальше стало страшно за процессор вдруг перегреется так как иногда 3 ядра работали на 4ггц и более это уже о чем-то говорит)
дальше разогнал встроенный в встроенный видеоадаптер до 1 ггц представляете на 300 мгц при штатной системе охлаждения...

- - только купил... на плате присутствуют 2 PCIe 2.0x16. при использовании одной видюхи, она устанавливается в нижний слот матери (в верхний вставляется VGA-SWITCH-CARD, на хрена - не понятно, кстати). учитывая, что все современные видюхи закрывают собой соседний, нижний слот, то и на этой материнке...

I bought this board two years ago and it worked great then for some unknown reason the board failed. When I powered up the computer only the fans and drives would start up but the board would not post or anything. I contacted the service department and the representative decided to setup an RMA for the board and told me to return it. I waited two days and did not receive any information so I called back and explained what had happened but I haven't seen any email for the RMA. The new rep. Put the RMA through again and I got a response before getting off the phone. I then removed the board from my computer placed it in an electro static bag, bubble wrapped it and put it in a box and shipped it back to ASUS. I waited a couple of days after they received it and checked the online status for the RMA. At this point I got concerned because the website reported that it could not find the RMA. so I called the service department and was informed that they have problems with the status site but he could check. He then informed me that the board analysis was complete and they were waiting for a part. Four days later I received an email from a different representative at the company stating that the board was damaged and would not be repaired under warranty. If I wanted to continue with the repair I must submit a payment of $101.50 within 24 hours or they would send the board back. The email contained an attachment of a picture showing the corner of a motherboard that was mashed. I replied back to the representative that the damage in the picture was not on the board before it was sent to them and I wanted to investigate. They responded back with a number where they could be reached. I called the representative and they told me that it was impossible for the damage to happen at ASUS since they have a no fault policy and would fix whatever the break. I tried to get them to understand my concern but they had no intention of researching or explaining anything. Just that there policy would not let them repair it under warranty. I asked to speak with their supervisor and was told they didn't have one but they would have someone contact me if I wanted. I agreed to the contact and the representative then hung up on me. After a couple of days the board was returned to me without any call back or explanations. As suspected the damage depicted by the picture they sent did not exist on the board. I then made a complaint to the service department about the whole situation and was again told that I would have to pay for the repair if I wanted it done. I told this person that the damage shown in the picture was not from my board. The next response from customer service was a new picture showing different damage and that it wouldn't be covered. I replied back that this was not the same picture that was sent before and I am not understanding why they keep changing their story. The last response from ASUS was that there was nothing else they could do sorry for the inconvenience. Well I'm sorry that your customer service is so poor that all you do is refuse to help your customers. At this point I have no intention of ever buying another product from this company again. It isn't worth it if you have a problem.

I have now experienced 3 of these die in some way on me. On one system the video out would drop and eventually died. The mb had a elite service option of getting a new one shipped right away (which I needed). That video out on the replacement died less than a year later and this time they said I'd have to wait 3-4 weeks for a replacement after sending the broken one back(something I couldn't afford to do). So I just bought pci-e video card and problem fixed. On a second machine with a very similar build I couldn't get it to post right from the beginning. After playing with ram and other connections still no luck. Randomly after attempts of turning it on and off it worked and has worked fine until 2 years later. Now it will not post no matter what I do. So after having a great Asus board years ago and feeling good about their brand I'm now done with them. I'm getting a AsRock board as a replacement.

Although I had originally owned an Asus board that was included with a HP computer, this is my first retail board that I purchased as part of a build. I was not disappointed. I paired the the board with a X4 955 and 4 sticks of patriot 2GB memory. It booted right up on the first try and with no issues. I was able to install Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit without a hitch. Once the OS was loaded, the included drivers installed fine. Included with the drivers are some great utilities like TurboV and Fan Xpert. TurboV is nice because it allows me to tune my settings quickly in Windows before entering them into the bios. Speaking of which, the bios is well though out and has more options than I know what to do with. Fan Xpert is also great because it allows me to create custom fan profiles along with the included profiles. AMD overdrive is also included, although it did give me some issue when working with clock settings. This is fine though, as TurboV can accomplish this function as well. Where overdrive really shined was monitoring, which it accomplished without issue. I am hoping that a future update will fix some of the issues with it. Physically, the board is reasonably well laid out. Both the North and Soutbridges have heat sinks on them. The power regulators also have a heat sink on them, which is a good idea when overclocking. The Northbridge and Power Regulator heat sinks are linked with a heat pipe, which helps to distribute the heat so that there is a larger effective heat dissipating surface. To the right of the AM3 socket are 4 DDR3 rams slots, color coded for 2 dual channel memory pairs. When using a Hyper 212 plus, I found that the outer edge of the 120mm fan would hit the top of the heat spreader on the stick of ram closest to the socket. I just slid the fan up a little to solve the problem, but this is still something to consider. This board supports a plethora of PCI options, including 2 standard PCI, 1 PCI-E X1, 1 PCI-E X4, and 2 PCI-E x16 slots. Due to limitations of the 880GX Northbridge, only one of the x16 slots can run at the full x16 speed. When both are in use, each only has half the speed, or x8. If you want to use the full x16 speed, you have to use the bottom blue x16 slot. If you have a larger graphics card, you will lose one of the PCI slots. Below the PCI slots are the various headers. There are definitely a lot of USB headers, although there is no fire-wire header in sight. To the right of these are the 6 SATA headers, each of which run at 6Gb/s. These, along with the 2 USB 3.0 ports, ensure that you should be future-proofed for a while. There is the standard 24 pin motherboard power connector, as well as the 8 pin EATX connector to provide plenty of power for newer AMD processors. On the board are 4 fan headers, 3 of which are controllable and 2 of which support PWM. The controllable ones can be programmed from either the BIOS or the included fan Xpert software. Speed wise, it performs as expected, sometimes better. The USB 2.0 ports are almost twice as fast as those on my previous motherboard, at least in terms of transfer rate on a flash drive. I can only imagine what the 3.0 ports are capable of. The integrated Radeon graphics are very reasonable, playing back full 1080p60 video from a TM-700k and even youtube 4k without issue.

bought this board since it was an AM3 socket which was what i was looking for, overall im very impressed by the board, had a bit of a problem installing the board in my case, since there wasnt quite enough room for the back panel cover.the board has a great design too, love the mem-ok button, had some initial problems with my RAM (it doesnt accept 1600MHz RAM right off the bat), but thats simple to get around, just put the RAM in, and use the MEM-OK button and it will work perfectly fine, then just go to the BIOS and change the frequency to the 1600MHz that you wanted.the BIOS is also great for this board, lets you tweak allot of stuff very easily and the layout is very user friendly.If you want to take a gamble, you can opt to try the core unlocker, some AMD processors have locked cores, for example the Athlon II and Phenom II X2 and X3 models are models with locked cores, if you are lucky enough, the locked cores will be in workable condition, therefore, adding 1 or maybe even 2 more cores to your processor. just a bit of a warning and note on that, the X2 and X3 models are usually designated that because of manufacturing defects on the locked cores, so remember that theres no guarantee you will get extra cores, and also if you do unlock the cores, you may have to fiddle with the settings to get them to be stable. but hey, if you buy a dual/triple core and try the unlocker, you cant loose, at worse you will just be stuck with the processor you paid for, which is still pretty good since AMD offers very good prices for their products, the best is getting a hell of a lot more bang for your buck by getting a quad core for the price of a dual.A bit of a side note, the GTD version(this one) comes with a decent integrated video card (ATI Radeon HD 4290) which you can change the amount of integrated memory it uses, up to 512mb, so you can have a 512mb DDR3 video card right off the bat without paying for a video card, and i must say, the integrated video card impresses me, you cant do anything past light gaming with it, but it runs TF2 (high settings) and Fallout 3 (medium settings) pretty well, i have even heard you can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on minimum settings smoothly. you should be able to play almost every game on minimum settings smoothly at the very least as of now (Oct 2010). so, if you are on a budget, you can forgo buying a video card temporarily with this board, which is what i did, I eventually got myself an ATI Radeon HD 5770.overall, I highly recommend this mobo, its feature set will come in handy for users of nearly any level, plus, you wont need to upgrade the mobo itself for years since its built for upgrading.Build:ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 - AM3 - AMD 890GX - DDR3 - USB 3.0 SATA 6 Gb/s - ATX MotherboardAMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0 GHz 4x512 KB L2 Cache Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor - Retail ADX640WFGMBOXCorsair 4GB Dual Channel Corsair DDR3 Memory for Intel Core i5 Processors (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)OCZ OCZ550FTY Fatal1ty Series 550W Power SupplyWestern Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB Bulk/OEM Hard Drive 3.5 Inch, 16 MB Cache, 7200 RPM SATA II WD5000AAKSThermaltake V5 Black Edition Mid-Tower Gaming Chassis VL70001W2Z (Black)Lite-On LightScribe 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive IHAS424-98 - Retail (Black)
