Удобный формат 16:10, монитор более квадратный, чем обычный. В меню много различных настроек. Есть функция сравнения изображения с разными форматами листов бумаги. Шрифт хороший, не очень мелкий при масштабе 100%. Автоматически он поддерживает частоту обновления только 60 Гц. ЮСБ порты расположены не очень удобно сбоку (флэшку вставить не вставая со стула не получится) и кабель для их подключения идет не совсем стандартный. Есть небольшие засветы по углам. Монитор изготовлен в октябре 2021. По качеству картинки - ничего особенного сказать нельзя, все примерно на уровне аналогичных мониторов 10 летней давности...

Perfect for what I purchased it for
I purchased this monitor to replace 2 VERY old monitors that a friends mom was using. She's a college professor and she's been using two old monitors that are dark, washed out, low brightness, and just overall horrible on her eyes and neck. Purchased this to replace both of those and she's extremely happy with the purchase. This screen is bright, vibrant, accurate colors out of the box, and has enough real-estate to do what she needs from watching YouTube videos to grading multiple papers at a time. The viewing angles are superb as is normal with IPS panels and I plan to get her another one down the road as well as a dual monitor arm so we can get optimal positioning for her. Want to ensure she's got good posture, she's comfortable, and her eyes aren't trying too hard to see what's going on.

Excellent home office monitors
Bought 2 of these at the very start of our "work from home" this year. Made a great office with thin bezels, honestly competes with my setup at work. Color & brightness look great. No comment on gaming - work only for these. But I don't see why they wouldn't work fine if you don't care about high refresh rate.

Monitor only.
No bluetooth. No internal speakers. No speaker jack. HDMI and RGB only. I admit I was expecting internal speakers. Dell has several models with internal speakers classified as a monitor. No wifi. So call me crazy but with HDMI, I am puzzled on how someone can obtain the audio channel on the HDMI. (?) I returned this after talking with customer service and they said it is a monitor only. To them that means no audio. Again, DELL has monitors with internal speakers. Also, they have external ports for the audio to go to a sound bar etc. To me this is not a full gaming monitor! My 10 year old 26 in. Vizio TV, LCD/LED with back lighting was just as good at 1080p with TV and speakers. The dot clarity was equal to the new one on the same graphic settings.

A blue line right down the middle
Out of box, removed old hdmi monitor and put this in its place.
Screen powered on the asus splash screen, no blue line
hooked to computer via included hdmi cable.
Monitor flickers multiple times showing the desktop and the black for 5-10 seconds, it does this for about a minute.
It settles down and displays the desktop, but there is a top to bottom right down the middle blue line.
It's just slightly noticeable but the left side of screen was just a shad shad of brightness different.
Ok, so I unplug both ends of hdmi cable and plug back in, again, a minute of flickering screen, I swap my old cable in, same line, so not the cables fault. I use AMD driver to create a custom resolution setting a 75hz and leaving everything else unchanged, I apply it, screen still has line. I press power button on and off, line still there.
I start fiddling with AMD settings, every feature I turn on/off, the screen goes and does the flicker to black for 3-10 seconds multiple times... I then unplug power and plug back in, asus splash screen, no blue line... screen go black and then the desktop shows, no blue line.
I give the VY279HE a 3 rating because even if the line never returns, I will always know it was there once, and product confidence has been shattered and will always wonder if it will return, probably the day after the warranty expires.
As far as product usage after the incident, its been 3 hours, screen looks great.
My only complaint would the be the stupid location and design on the power/control button.
It's a micro joystick, like a thumb pad from a ps4/xbox controller and it's on the back out of easy reach, esp with side by side screens.

Ugh! I hate dead pixels!
This monitor would’ve gotten 5 stars if it wasn’t for that one dead pixel in the lower right portion of the screen! This is the THIRD monitor I purchased from amazon that has dead pixels! I give up ... I can’t keep sending them back ... the lower priced ones are just gonna have a dead pixel or two, and that’s just the way it is.

Just as advertised/Lightening Fast Delivery
I clicked "Buy Now" Friday night, this monitor arrived on my door step Sunday around noon, lightening fast delivery. Packaging was perfect, no rips, tears or other signs of mis-handling. Plug and play, I even kept my old monitory cord and HDMI cord and saved the ones that came with this monitor. Zero problems, plug it in and reboot PC, spectacular colors, comprehensive menu selections (I kept everything at default except one, which I placed on "Gaming"). Sturdy stand with plenty of base to place things on.
Highly Recommended product, very satisfied. TYVM for speedy services :)

Terrible time adjusting them. One looked brighter and better than the other, but both looked horrible depending what site you were on, especially youtube. Very difficult to get through the menus in the rear. In the end, no matter the setting, it did not look good on every site. On the desktop itself looked nice, but once you went onto various sites, again youtube as an example, forget about things looking proper. Terrible experience and time wasted.

Nice all around monitor.
Bought 2 of these to go along with my laptop docking station for my home office. Way easier to see than my small laptop screen. Once setup on my computer and settings saved, it connects flawless every time now as a primary and second monitor. I don’t notice any eye fatigue but I’m not on it all day long like others, only 4-6hrs every other day or so to do accounting/invoicing. Great for web meetings too. Oh and the slim bezel is nice for dual monitors as well.

For the price, difficult to complain, one had stuck pixel on arrival
I bought two of these monitors - one from Amazon, then a second from elsewhere once I decided I liked it. The second one came with a red pixel that I cannot fix. ASUS warranty is only for more than 3 pixels, so I'm screwed - it's red and off to one side, so not the worst placement, but that sucks to get a brand new monitor with a defunct pixel.

Chronic migraineur here
Pros:
-Has blue light control and eyesore features that really do help with eye strain and headaches. I haven't had any issues looking at this screen, which is big based on my chronic migraines.
-You can adjust EVERYTHING. Brightness, blue light filter, refresh rate, mode...
-Relatively inexpensive
-Works no problem with my MacBook Pro
-Tilt feature is sturdy so it doesn't flop around
Cons:
-Picture quality isn't great. If you're up close, you can see pixels like no tomorrow. Granted, I'm spoiled by my MacBook's retina screen, but still. I expected better from "1080p HD"
-No built in speakers
-Stand is a bit bulky.

Bought Two
I bought two mostly for a work from home upgrade. I can’t speak for the gaming usefulness but these are great for office work. They can get incredibly bright if you want them to be, at least for the office work purposes and the quality is good. I’m use to higher resolution in the office but these 1080p’s are easier too see on a mount and sitting back further than I do in the office. Especially for the money I can’t imagine them being better with higher resolution options being much more. Button placement is not great for dual side by side use but it’s not really an issue for on/off because you just reach under for the first button and you don’t get in the menu that often where you’d use the rest of them.

75Hz Refresh rate stated is somewhat deceptive and no place to call or write. Really.
This is a "maybe" 75hz refresh rate -- it will work at 75hz with HDMI but not DVI as far as I can tell. And the good news is there nothing that needs to be switched on (freesync or adaptive sync) to use that rate. I would have asked/ sent an email but the customer service or sales is so hard to reach I gave up (You'll do better if you can use Android/Google Play but no hope for an IPhone). That said, when I changed to HDMI to get the higher refresh I started to squint and my eyes hurt again. Since I got this because I get headaches in front the computer -- I will switch back to 60hz, keep the DVI connection and keep looking.

Great monitor. Amazon delivery needs attention (not necessarily for posting)
I like the monitor, especially the way it works with my MacBookPro! Was easy to come up with a resolution that works with my MacBook.
Our building has been working with Amazon's Seattle-Eastside delivery manager to get drivers to deliver packages to a package room, next to our mail room -- set up with plenty of open space so that people don't have to crowd together in our cramped mailbox room to get their packages.(to protect us from COVID). When the driver called to be buzzed in, I tried to tell him on the phone about the package room, and he muttered something that I could not understand. When I came down to get it, he had delivered everything to the mailbox room, not the package room. I found the box with the monitor leaning (correctly) against a wall and four other Amazon packages haphazardly strewn around the room. Am looking for a regional phone number in Seattle to talk to a driver manager about our building so that drivers can be told to use the package room.

Beautiful, clear and functional
Having the "luxury" of working with two additional displays, connected to the 15'6 inch screen work laptop, while working in the office, I was really struggling when working from home. Tasks took three times as long working simultaneously in various applications. After deciding to set up my home "office" I decided to spring for a dual, gas spring monitor stand to hold a couple of sizable monitors. Originally I was looking for a smaller size but purchasing these was one of the best home office decisions I've made. They are clear, easy on the eyes in daylight and night time and are easily menu accessible to adjust to your own pleasure. Yes, the control buttons are on the back but that gives the monitor a more aesthatic look, sleek and plenty real estate. Getting a great deal, I purchased two screens and loved every second I've been working from home having the real estate to work all needed applications quickly.
Definitely a win win!

Asus did it again
I use this as a dual monitor gaming setup. As you can see in the photo it looks great with rest of the setup.
I’ve own many Asus monitor and will continue to do so as long as they keep up the good work. Just a note this monitor does not have a built in speaker. If you’re gaming you would want a dedicated speaker anyway. Hope this review helps.leave a thumb up if this helps, thanks.

EYE CARE????? Get the Gillette razor add on with this monitor. You will need it for the hairy fonts!
Seriously ASUS???
I had eyestrain after using this monitor on the first 20 minutes.
Most of the negatives you will read here are not to be blamed on ASUS, although this is a HORRIBLE product with a TON of BS marketing to sell a sub 100+ cheapo piece of plastic with some lightning in the back trying to mimic what a computer monitor should be doing nowadays, which is displaying a proper picture you can work with.
But the main problem here was pushing it trying to achieve "good resolution" on a 1080 panel at 27 inches.
Look at my pictures.. this is not my phone just zooming in too much, you can actually see the individual pixel LEDs from half a meter away from the screen. You need to FORCE your vision so you can "tetris" the pieces and hairs around the fonts with such a big screen.
The sweet spot and MAXIMUM you can get a 1080 screen for the computer is 22 inches or so.
If you want 27 inches, it does not matter what brand of monitor you buy, it will be pathetic at 27 inches. period.
Start with a QHD (2k) Monitor. And avoid this monitor. You need to spend $250+ to "start" having some sort of OK quality monitor... forget about all the marketing here and false features. Do your research
CONS:
1. bad picture quality, pixels are VERY noticeable.
2. VERY DIM display. at only 250 nit you will get a dull picture with daylight, or just some light in the room, next to my laptop 4K screen, this monitor looked like a dark RAG. Get yourself something at least 350 nit. Manufacturers dont usually list this spec, make sure you find it on your next target.
3. EYE CARE??? I am still perplexed a big brand name manufacturer makes such a bold statement and puts a sticker on the corner to remind you how stupid they believe you are because you will believe it anyways?
4. WT... with all the light coming out of the sides as seen on the pictures? My speakers are shielded for electronics BTW, i have them now next to a different monitor and i don't get those halos of light everywhere.

ASUS warranty support nearly non-existant
Beautiful 27" monitor. Most of the time. Picture included shows new ASUS on right, my older Samsung on left. Switching monitors, HDMI cables, and graphic port always resulted in Samsung working great, ASUS going into flickering vertical bars requiring multiple power resets to get back working. Amazon no help because I was 7 days past their 30 day return policy. Since the problem was intermittent, and I was busy, I lost track of time. Connecting to ASUS was slow and painful and when it happened, unproductive. I said they could have my AmEx until they got the defective one back. They said they 'could' do that, except they had none in stock to send me, so I get to do without a monitor for 2 weeks at least. This was after listening to their on-hold ads that kept bragging about how great their technology, service, and especially warranty coverage was for 30 minutes. I have bought a LOT of ASUS products over the years, with this kind of support, I've bought my last.

Two of these for home-office is great!
Recently upgraded from a 10-year old flatscreen and a hand-me down to 2x of these.
I am not sure if it is the blue-light filter, the better refresh rate, adaptive sync or simply the larger screen, but I don't have headaches after work anymore. IN fact, I can continue working at night on other projects without any issue. Love these monitors!
I did want to get a 4k, but to get eye-care and 75hz refresh rate, I'd be shelling out 600+ bucks PER monitor if I went with 4k.
These are a heck of a deal. I'll upgrade again in 5 years when 4k is actually reasonable.

Shipping issues
The monitor was not double boxed and the cartoon took some rough handling. There were multiple punctures to the box but did not damage the monitor. I ship items double boxed and expect that all items shipped to me to be double boxed. Picking something up in a store you can inspect the packaging before you take it to check out . I will not be dealing with this in the future. I have had 5 items arrive in their display carton and all have had some to very serious issues with box integrity. This is not the way to run a company if you value customer loyality.

Great monitor for healthy computing
This monitor replaced an Acer 24" monitor that always gave me terrible eye strain and headaches. I am on my computer all day long. The EyeCare technology in this monitor eliminates all flicker using DC current to power the backlight LEDs instead of pulse-width-modulated (PWM) power. The adjustments for brightness and blue light let me 'dial' it in for max comfort. An added bonus for the EyeCare DC power supply is elimination of low frequency magnetic fields compared to the Acer, which outputs 3.5 mGauss near the screen. I can be on this monitor all day without eye strain. Great job ASUS!!

DOES NOT GO TO 75 HZ
This monitor advertises 75 Hz, but when I try and configure it via windows settings OR even my NVIDIA Control panel (running a 6gb 2060S) it does not have the 75 Hz option.
Screen LOOKS good, but is not 75 Hz as advertised. Despicable marketing.
