Despite other reviews I tried two mobo and neither worked with a Ryzen 5 3600 out of the box. Sure a bios update may have resolved it but that no good if you don't have a compatible CPU to get it boot to perform the update.

I based my new Ryzen build around this board, and at the price point I couldn't be happier. It really matches my black & white theme. The RGB options in the UEFI are quite extensive, all my parts work flawlessly. The included manual was clear and helped me plug in all the I/O ports accordingly. Great little B450 board at a very competitive price if you want RGB!

I replaced an ASUS TUF B450m with this ASrock Steel Legend for the an MATX build... and its a downgrade in many areas.
This boards PCB and heatsinks are far more suited to my build aesthetic, and it does feature dual M.2 slots which is an absolute godsend when working in smaller cases. But thats where the good points end. Mixed 12v and 5v RGB headers is unparalleled at this price bracket, but theres some issues here.
The RGB software is buggy and crashes more often than not. The firmware for the RGB lighting on the board itself is also trash, doesnt always apply to each LED correctly, sometimes freezes entirely. Its so bad than ASrock provide a specific batchfile to wipe the RGB firmware and re-apply it.
Fan controller doesnt like mixing 4pin PWM and 3pin fans; they'll all spin but you cant control them all in the software or BIOS.
Worst part of it is its just slow. POST takes an absolute age to finish and the boot-up process getting into Windows 10 is so much slower compared to my previous ASUS board (using the same Samsung 960 Evo).
I'd never recommend this board unless you specifically want the colour scheme and dual M.2 slots.

Great all around motherboard, comes with Ryzen 3000 support from the box (I would advise you to update to the latest BIOS for this generation). It has enough features , the build quality is good and it looks amazing for the price. Works great with my 3600X

The main feature of this board would be how the aesthetics differ from other competition. With the steel like aesthetics, any setup with this motherboard will pop! Great overclocking ease and capability, design is flawless and the board has enough head space for adding more RAM. Although, as an RGB capable motherboard and being branded as a "Gaming" motherboard, It's controversial that ASROCK would proudly highlight their RGB features. The RGB that came with my board has colour inaccuracy. Looking closer at the heatsink of the motherboard chipset, the colour seems to be off so this meaning that the IO RGB does not match. In addition to this, trying to get the RGB to work properly was a hassle. To get an RGB effect I had to go to the Bios as the RGB software wasn't working properly! After flashing the software a couple of times and updating my BIOS, it was finally working alongside the software ASROCK provided. Apart from that, the motherboard is great and I would recommend it but do be wary of the RGB if that's what you're looking for!!!

Bought the board for a replacement system after another MB failed. So thought I would purchase AS Rock as another manufacturer (MSI) is trying to avoid a warranty claim. So it arrives transfer it in to a Micro ATX case that it just fits. Then trying to read the Manual the Type face is poor and difficult to read and as a whole the manual is poorly laid out. So get the bits in, all components are off the QVL list from AS Rock and well thats where it goes wrong. 3 Days it took to get running still waiting for support help and forum registration to respond so i can get some help. It takes between 2-5 mins to boot to OS if it doesn't fail and enabling fast boot only speeds this up by a few seconds. Once running it performs really well but overall the Start up on this is really really long, i'm used to machines i build and configure to boot into Desktop in under 25s. Now it could be there is some magical setting i need to set up but overall i'm less than impressed with this board. Rather than messing around with LED crap put some time into writing a readable manual. I couldn't get the Gigabyte board I wanted and have built on previously that boots quickly. So far not impressed with the board until its running in OS

Updated the BIOS but there is no solution to this board not supporting a Samsung M.2 NVME - due to UEFI bug (and trust me I spend half a day reading forums and trying most BIOS configurations) once my Samsung m.2 NVME is inserted, the UEFI stops displaying bootable devices. I can force boot from USB and a linux distro will see the drive. Like others have said, lazy implementation of BIOS/UEFI. Shame.

Got the R4.0 version of the motherboard to use with a new Ryzen 3 3200G but despite upgrading to the latest BIOS v3.70 I just couldn't get a stable system...
Followed suggestions on the ASRock forum and changed C-State power settings in the BIOS, which improved stability a bit but I still had issues with display cutting out. Looking online, I'm not the only one having issues.
Swapped it with an MSI B450M Mortar Max and it worked straight out of the box...
Shame really as, otherwise, the ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 seemed like quite a capable board.

こちらの確認不足ではあるのですが、2本目の16xスロットはx4動作だと説明書にあります。
実際SASボードでのRAID0での数値はシーケンシャルリードで2000MB/s→1650MB/sに落ちてます。帯域不足がネックになっているように思われます。
必要最低限ということでこのM/Bを選びましたがせめて2本めがx8動作するものを選びたかったです。

電源ONとwin10起動時に音がブツって、合計二回ほど鳴るのが気になるけど…返品メンドイし…組み直すのもメンドイから…まぁ良いかなって品物でした。
asrock H270pro4からの乗り換えです。
オーディオドライバーの同じメーカーでしたが、オーディオインターフェースが使いにくくて、別途USBオーディオとマイクを取り付けて使用しています。
オーディオはioパネルだけって人は「ブツ…ブツ」っていう異音を覚悟した方が良いかもしれません。

Works great with new PC build i5-10400 and 16GB DDR4
ASROCK H470 Phantom Gaming 4 Motherboard has been working great for over a month now with NO issues at all with a PC build that includes a i5-10400 and 16GB of DDR4. Would recommend this board for other users with i5-10400 Intel CPU's.

Did not work with my Ryzen 5 3600
Although the box says Ryzen 3000 compatible it did not work with my 3600 processor. Luckily I live in the same city as the seller so I directly went over and we tried out different combinations of RAM , PSU's and processors. It would boot with any CPU (even after latest BIOS update) but not with the 3600. We even tried another 3600 processor but that did not work.
It turned out to be a very rare case as per the seller and I did not want to try another B450 mobo so upgraded to a x570 instead of this one. Seller was kind enough to help me with the entire troubleshooting so kudos in terms of service.

Does Not Support Ryzen 3000 (3rd gen)
I bought this motherboard for Ryzen 3600 but it didn't worked (No post, No display after boot). On the box it is mentioned Ryzen 3000 ready! but i think the bios was not updated by seller or company. i didn't had AMD 2nd gen processor to update BIOS so i had to return this item. For others please make sure you have a AMD tool kit or a old processor with you in case of emergency if BIOS is not updated or go better for MSI motherboards (B450, x470,x570) which supports Flashback feature (Easy feature to update BIOS without processor) for BIOS update .

Has Ryzen 3000 Ready Sticker
The box has Ryzen 3000 Ready sticker. Works out of the box with my R5 3600. That's the important part, this is the only motherboard I found claiming to be compatible OOTB with Ryzen 3000 series. The BIOS may need an update later on to fix any issues related to RAM speeds or CPU voltages. New BIOS have being released after I ordered this motherboard.

Asrock B450M Steel Legend
Its a great motherboard with a decent rgb light which can be controlled...Its Ryzen 3000 ready board, there's no need for bios update...I paired a ryzen 5 3500 with this board..Over all good Purchase.There are only some boards in B450 series which are Ryzen 3000 Ready or you need to go for the 500 series.I surely recommend this board.

The packaging was excellent, delivery guy opened and checked the package before handing over. He maintained distance. The Motherboard was as promised, beautiful and the RGB looks superb. I was worried as this is my assembled Desktop after 12 years, last one was AMD phenom, and could not understand why the display didn't show bios boot up. I did notice the keyboard and mouse light up so there was nothing wrong with the motherboards. Turns out for My model of processor you need a graphics card for display, and voila.. once the graphics card was installed i saw the beautiful ASROCK logo boot up on the screen.
Windows installation took ten minutes.
I was playing games in an hour.
Note : Make sure to get a good UPS for the CPU.

Broken motherboard
For 10 days the motherboard worked great but not anymore today i bought another motherboard from my local shop and everything is working again.It stopped working after the return window was expired now i am stuck here with a broken motherboard now the seller is not replying to my mails and amazon is saying they can't help me in this matter I have learnt my lesson never buy electronics from online stores instead buy it from the local store. Only 12 days replacement policy on electronic product really what am i buying a clothing product there should be at least 30 days replacement policy on electronic products did not expect this from amazon.

Review after a month of usage. Getting polychrome sync working was pain though.

Finally got polychrome sync rgb app working.Install version PolychromeRGB(v2.0.58) and then reboot. Run WriteFw.bat and all should be good. My BIOS is 2.90 (Came stock)

I was able to get the memory running in 3000Mhz (XMp profile). Use A2/B2 slots else speed will be low.
Works perfect with ryzen 5 2400g, Corsair vengeance lpx 3000mhz 8 x 2 memory, Samsung evo pro nvme 250GB m2 drove.
Games I played work perfect with above configuration. I play GTA5 With 1080 resolution without issue. Also tried drone simulators. No issues there.
Tried video editing with 4K video (from old iPhone se) with one track no issues while editing. With 2 track it slows down. 10 minutes 4K video Could take up to one hour for rendering.
General computer use is super fast and no issues. CPU cores stay around 50 degree Celsius. (May be I have room for slight overcooking with stock cooler)

Nice motherboard for the price
I am using ryzen 5 3500. A good motherboard I bought it for 8200 in an offer. Best value for money. But people who are using ryzen 5 3500 please dont update BOS. The motherboard initailly comes with 2.70 BIOS. I tried to update it to 3.20 latest available in the ASROCK website. But I ended up resulting in random restarts with blue light of death in windows. So I reverted back to 2.70 and till now not facing any issues. The RGB lighting is good, and can be controlled.

Ryzen 3 ready and AWESOME!!!!
I got one that was fulfilled by PC Parts and Solutions this one was ryzen 3rd Gen Ready out of the box. On top of that it has RGB and enough SATA, USB ports for anyones needs. Best mobo i ever bought

Fir a fall I was least knowing about any computer products an hardware engineer ordered this. For me
When i received the product
That person told me that the product was not working so return it .
Hence I returned the product
But the guy who took my parcel came back to me in some time and told that the product was not same as records.
As I was not having knowledge about it
I told may be it can be. And I also returned product as it is.
This product became a headache for me.
And also a problem to that boy who came for return pickup.
Worst experience ever.
