Currently on backorder for a week. Will give a review when it finally ships and is received. For now three stars because well, I'm sitting with a case and no actual screen to put it in.

I have a dual monitor setup at my office so I really miss the extra screen real estate when on the road. Working on a 13" MacBook Air (MBA) makes for a cramped screen environment. The AOC is an affordable and lightweight solution that is literally plug and play (after installing the driver, of course). Both my MBA and AOC fit nicely into a standard sized laptop bag. I will not leave home (or the office) without it!

The other reviewers weren't kidding. I've seen bright monitors before, but this thing is brighter than the sun. Please provide a way to reduce brightness next time :( I haven't decided if I am returning this item yet but it is very annoying.

This portable USB Monitor is excellent for the road warrior. It is easy to set up and has a great picture. For anyone that uses a second monitor in the office this is your solution.You can't go wrong for the price. Actually if you have 2 USB ports you can connect 2 of them.

The AOC 19-inch wide monitor is great! It was easy to order. Shipped right away so I didn't have long to wait until I could plug it in and play, which was lucky since my entire system was down until this monitor was in place. The picture is great. This monitor was really good vaule.

For a while I've been searching for a LCD monitor with a right price for my budget. Then I came across this brand only the other day.I compared with several on-line electronic stores and found Amazon.com offered the cheapest with free shipping, less than $[...] for 18.5-inch screen size . Immediately I placed the order early yesterday and had it already this afternoon. I was really amazed of the fast shipping and it was free! I did not expect it would be delivered in 2 days!Upon setting it up at first, it was too bright even after pushing the " auto" button. But after adjusting and calibrating the color which is a sub-menu at Control Panel, the color is just amazing. The screen is just the right size for home use. Before this monitor, I attached a 26-inch LCD TV as monitor for my Compaq desktop but it's just too big and straining to the eyes for longer period of use. THank you, Amazon. I will highly recommend this monitor .

I did quite a lot of research on this monitor prior to ordering. Checked the reviews at several sites, all were favorable. The price is very good. I have been disappointed to find that there is no printed instructions with it, just a crude pictorial instruction of installation, which leaves a great deal of information missing. The included accompanying CD containing detailed information does not want to print out on my computer. This info. is great but unfortunately I need it on paper. However, I now have it running nicely and it produces a nice picture. It's worth the money.

The monitor came as advertised and as reviewed. I am very happy with the purchase. It is an upgrade from the 14" monitor we were using. The color is good but could be a little more vivid for my taste. I did some customizing, and I am very close to where I want it to be. All in all, it is well worth the price.

Needed to make some adjustments for color balance and contrast, and I've been enjoying it since.Probably would have gone for something else though, if this had not been on sale.Also, I was a little disappointed by the resolution limit (but not a deal breaker for me).Overall, I am satisfied with this as my second monitor.

you have to look straight on the monitor if you look at any angle the picture distorts (brightness inconsistant ) most noticed when watching movies .
