Quality and efficient
Easy to assemble- changing the cassettes- scarifier/aerator is easy, the resulting thatch removal is very impressive. A good piece of kit at a good price.

This is a great little machine and
This is a great little machine and, at Amazon price, unbeatable. Don't be put off by the time it takes to assemble, not that long and the instructions are good, and yes, the priming buttons could be more convenient, but forget all that; this machine does the business. Nothing I have found gets moss and thatch out like the AL-KO. Basket after basket, the lawn is cleared ready to get the grass going again AND come, the spring, I can easily convert it to a scarifier. You won't regret it and the lawn will love you !

It's an ok machine. The big front wheels clock ...
It's an ok machine. The big front wheels clock up with the moss and lock up. The handle is made of tubbing that I feel is to thin after just two or three hours of use it has started th bend and loosen. The engin seems to be ok but would possibly benefit from having throttle control.

Terrible product
Had two, build quality is atrocious, product graphics dissolved on contact with petrol. Vicious engine pullback and neither ran smooth. Both thankfully returned, avoid at all cost.

... scarifier over the last year and have been very pleased with the results
I have used the lawn rake and scarifier over the last year and have been very pleased with the results. Starting can be a problem occasionally but is OK if you persist.

Good mid-range scarifier
Good bit of kit. Easy to assemble out of the box and started 1st time. Tricky priming mechanism but ok once you get the hang of it.
I find petrol scarifiers very expensive and had only used an electric one before but this is worth the purchase for my medium sized lawn. Would benefit from a clip or holder for the back cover as I'd like to use it without the collector at first as my garden is covered with moss

Good machine
Good machine, I did notice when I checked the oil, there was dirty oil on the dip stick, as I hate dirty oil, I over filled with clean oil and drained off to the correct level. Other than that, no problems.
