livraison beaucoup plus rapide que prévu (3 jour ouvrés), après réception du colis il faut 15 min pour tout assembler, sans aucun soucis, complément d'huile et d'essence effectuée.
Après première scarification d'environ 500m2 en environ 8heures.
Première utilisation avec les dents en 4 mètres le sac est déjà rempli, c'est le plus ennuyant que j'ai pu rencontré, les arrêt et redémarrage sans cesse de la machine le temps de vidé le bac...
J'espère que sa ne jouera pas sur la durée de vie de la machine.
Puis deuxième utilisation avec la brosse qui là va beaucoup plus vite en 1hr le jardin est fait.
Je n'ai vraiment aucun regret d'avoir choisi ce scarificateur après beaucoup d'hésitation et de recherche je me suis arrêté je pense sur la bonne machine.
Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Gekauft wurde das Produkt im April 2019.
Es handelt sich hier um das Rad, das direkt auf der Welle sitz, welches die Kraft der Keilriemen überträgt.
Zunächst ist hier einen Sollbruchstelle aufgegangen, die einen Metallkeil halten soll. Nach dem erfolgten Austausch dieses Rades, durch das Originalteil von Alko, ist im Anschluss die Welle ausgeschlagen...
Leider enttäuschende Qualität!

Nachdem ich mehrfach mit Elektro Vertikutierern gearbeitet habe, habe ich mir nun dieses Benzingerät bestellt. Nach dem ersten Vertikutieren bin ich sehr zufrieden.
Das Zusammenbauen geht problemlos, einzig das Öleinfüllen ist etwas kompliziert. Grundsätzlich sieht unser Rasen aber nach einem ersten Durchgang (kreuz und quer) sehr gut aus. Ich freue mich schon wenn der Dünger wirkt und der Rasen im Frühjahr wieder tiefgrün ist.

Einfach zu bedienen. Verbrauch durchschnittlich. Lediglich das Starten ist etwas schwer, denn das Zugband muß ruckartig und schnell gezogen werden. Also die Armmuskeln vorher gut trainieren.

Jedes Jahr bei Inbetriebnahme muss ich einen neuen Starter kaufen - habe jetzt nach drei Jahren die Schnauze voll.
Die Feder des Starters gibt sehr schnell den Geist auf. Der Starter kostet auch ca. 30 Euro- im ersten Jahr war es noch ein Bedienerfehler das räume ich ein

Also ich habe schon einen Rasenmäher von ALKO und bin damit höchst zufrieden. Nun habe ich mir den Combi-Care gekauft um meinen Rasen in den Griff zu bekommen.
Die Montage des Gerätes ist sehr einfach (bei der ersten Lieferung fehlte ein Teil) und auch die Bedienung ist sehr ansprechend. Einziges Manko an dem Gerät ist, dass die Sammelleistung des Korbes sehr schlecht ist, wenn der Rasen etwas länger nicht gepflegt wurde.

Envío rápido.Montaje fácil. Manejo sencillo,facilitado por su peso reducido que la hace muy manejable .Temía que su potencia fuera reducida pero resulta suficiente para un terreno de unos 1000 mtros.Como en todos los escarificadores el cesto de recogida no sirve para nada ,sin embargo si resulta util para hacer el aireado que también saca algo de hierba. En resumen una máquina muy útil con un precio razonable.

ALKO 38P COMBI CARE PETROL LAWNRAKE SCARIFIER
my lawn had been neglected for about six or seven years only mowing it when need be,so i decided to take the bull by the horns and have a go at restoring it to its old glory. i started by looking for a good scarifer and after some research decided to buy the alko 38p combi care petrol lawnrake scarifier and i was not disappointed.I had it up and running within an hour of unpacking and boy was i impressed,it ploughed through the thach and moss in no time and i couldnt believe that there was so much build up over the years.The clean up took seven hours and when finished the lawn looked like a battle field but when i mowed it on a setting of one inch it looked a lot better and now after four weeks and treatment with a good lawn fertilizer with high nitrogen content walla walla my lawn is back to its former glory ps. my house in on a half acre and the alko was more than capable of handling it so i give it top marks.Buy it you wont be sorry

Fortunately there is a local agent for AL-KO
The machine was delivered very promptly and then trying to make head or tail of the instructions for assembly was a nightmare.. According to the instructions the engine would have no oil in it, this was not the case as there was oil in the engine. Having assembled it I then made use of it on my large lawn. All was going well and the engine suddenly stopped. Trying to start it with the cable was almost impossible, as every time I pulled it nothing happened, apart from wracking my back in the attempt.. By this timeI had also destroyed all the packaging which it had come in,making almost impossible to return it. Fortunately there is a local agent for AL-KO, I took it to them to find out what was wrong. They had the machine for two weeks and managed to restore it to working order, at an additional cost to me of £40.00

Does an excellent job!
I've played around with it this last week after waiting for the lawn to be nice and dry. The aerator blades are pretty fierce and I only had them on the first setting, they also scarified at the same time. The raking cassette seems better for getting the moss off though and it doesn't disturb the surface of the lawn so much. For some reason the blade cassette is suggested for the scarifying and the tined rake is for the aerating...slightly confusing. All in all I'm very happy with the machine, it's well built and well worth the money.

Great scarifier, well recommended
I am so glad I bought this scarifier. It took me nearly 2 whole days to scarify our lawn, which is like a football pitch, and this machine removed a small mountain of thatch. It’s very simple to use, I only had 3 negatives really, the first was the placement of the priming buttons. The buttons are a little awkward to get to as they are within the engines shrouding. The second negative is the handle is a little uncomfortable. But to be fair I was using this for hours at a time and this was the lawns first scarification in 6 years. The last is the collection basket size, it’s big, but it’s no where near big enough. So what I ended up doing was scarifying without the basket then using my mower to hoover up the thatch after as the mower has a much bigger basket.

Not traditional Alko quality
My 20 year old Alko shredder operates as good as it did the day it arrived, I have owned several caravans with Alko chassis but this product bears no relation whatsoever to the quality associated with the Brand Alko. The machine arrived with a detached control boss- shoddy constructed on the cheap. Instead of nuts and bolts for secure fixing, simple plastic lugs and self tappers which did not survive the journey from factory to my home. The whole machine has a flimsy and shoddy feel. The safety handle is very flimsy. If you think you are purchasing traditional Alko Germsn quality, you will be sorely disappointed.

Should have bought this ages ago
I had an electric lawn rake which was doing a reasonable job of removing moss but thought I should step it up a gear with this petrol scarifier as there were some stubborn patches of dead moss. WOW this machine removed the moss alright and didn't harm the grass either only one little disappointing thing was when the air filter fell off after 5 minutes of use but was easily remedied.

Great machine, poor instructions
Ordered petrol model but an electric one was sent. Had to send it back to Germany. New one arrived in open box. Assembly was not easy because the instructions were very poor. However, there was a You Tube site which helped showing how to assemble step by step.
Once assembled and running, the machine was brilliant. I did not use the grass bag following reports on here that it soon filled up. That would have been the case as I ended up with two wheels bins full of moss. Much easier to scarifying and rake without the bag and rake up.
It is very light to use and manoeuvre although some design features are poor e.g. The primer buttons are hidden under a cover and not exactly where you would expect them.

AL-KO 38P COMBI CARE PETROL LAWNRAKE SCARIFIER IS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY.
A great buy and highly pleased with this machine, my lawns were smothered with moss and I had spent quite a bit of time scouring web sites including all of the auction sites to make sure that I was buying a bit of kit that was capable of ridding my lawns of the carpet of moss.
I had tried to tackle the moss problem with an electric Lawn Rake but it was over loading its capabilities and the motor was at the point of burning out..
I must say that the Al-ko 38P proved to me on the first attempt that I had made the right decision and I was pleased that I had paid little attention to some of the trivial negative reviews, in all honesty this machine is easy to set up and go through the starting procedure.
Also keep the collection bag on yes it fills up quickly but that only proves how efficient this machine is doing what it is supposed to do, I tried it with the collection bag off then using my petrol grass cutter to collect and clear the rows of moss but I soon found out that my grass cutter box was having to be empties as often as the bag on the Al-ko 39P and both were holding the same volume of moss so why handle the moss waste twice.
This machine has thickish plastic side panels and top covers but one thing which is a great advantage it won't rust like most of the metal type of machines eventually land up due to the acidity of the grass and moss.
Need I say more I am well pleased with my buy.

Lawnrake/Scarifier
Having assembled the unit, it already had oil in the engine, I put some fresh petrol in the tank and preceded to start the unit. The unit started but continued to cut out when being used. The petrol was changed out, eventually it started, continued to run and scarify satisfactorily. The following day it would start but not rev up to operating range, the petrol was changed out several times with the being no improvement. I took the unit to my local AL-KO dealer, he has worked on the unit to where it now works satisfactorily. I did not send this unit back to Amazon as it was a problem that a work shop had to put right.

have only used this item three times, after the second time the coil mechanism broke, Had it repaired only for the same thing to happen again. I also had difficulty starting this machine. It is not fit for purpose

Improved our lawn
My husband bought this for our lawn. He thinks it’s excellent and our lawn is much improved after using it. It removed a large amount of moss too. He was very pleased with this purchase

Excellent product
Does a really great job as a scarifier, and also aerates at the same time. First time of use, make sure the collection box is off, because so much moss comes out of the lawn !!.
Starts easily, and uses little fuel.
Price good compared to other machines which could not do a better job anyway.

go for it
Got it out of the box, though it was very cheap looking. A little tricky to start but once you've done it once or twice it's no problem. Took it for a trip around the garden thinking I've just wasted my money. Very surprised to see the amount of dead thatch and Moss it had lefted. Pleasantly surprised. I have a good size garden and it does the job very well, saves me hiring one at £30 a time .
