Ужасно
Worst program ever!
Positive:
The mouse itself is nice and offers a great way to move around in 3d.
It's nice to have programmable buttons.
You can use it to scroll, quite handy.
Negative:
The app...
Ist just the worse. I use to think that wacom app was basic, but in comparison, wacom have all the features covered in a handy way.
3Dconnexion never eard of Tabs, so you have a small window, with two separate sub windows which pop up. Terrible mess.
You cannot set a general behavior!!! No no, you have to call each single program, just by setting it as active window, then set your spacemouse for this program.
There is no way to know for what program you "saved" settings for, or recall theses setting, except from making this program as active window again.
And it's only the program name which is written in small, no icons unlike wacom, so you have to pay attention otherwise you may set the wrong program.
So in my case, I find actually more natural to use it in "reverse" mode. So I would have to set it for all the app. Ok, most of them it just allows you to scroll, but the button could offer possibilities for lot of app, if it was not so painful to set it up.
I also prefer to move up and down for zooming, to have a more coherent back and forth together with left and right for pan. Its nice to have that function, even if it's not so clear in the menu, and the checkbox does not stay checked, so you don't know where you are.
Again, setting this for all programs is not so fun, but the big problem is that when I use the "Rotation on/off" button, which should be handy when you work in 2d CAD, it's just erase all the settings and go back into default, not being "reversed". It's just make me so mad!
Sometimes pushing the buttons will turn it on, but not off.
Changing zoom axe also restore to default.
The view button (top, left, etc...) in Autocad, doesn't act like the program functions, it's stay at the same zoom rather than zooming in on selected objects. Making it quite useless for me. Maybe it's a problem from autodesk side, but I didn't manage to configure it other way.
There is even a "Dominant" checkbox that you have to go on forums to know what is doing, there is no mention of it in the help (which is terrible by the way).
Other problems/disappointment
The pan and zoom is crazy jerky in photoshop
You can't actually use it as a mouse/trackpoint
You can't use it to joggle on Premiere
So don't expect using it other than for 3D and scrolling. It's just taking desk real estate for one or two app rather than being a polyvalent tool.
It's so bad that im wondering if I should not rather keep using a traditional mouse... So many bug and missing features.
Again, at 3Dconnexion they should look and learn from wacom...

Für den Preis müste es ein Touchfeld bieten
Ich setz Sie zusammen mit der CadMouse am Desktop ein um genügend Makros zu haben in Autocad,Solidworks, Photoshop und auch bei RPG"s.
Das Display ist meiner Ansicht nach nciht mehr State of the Art und müste ein Touchscreen sein.
Ansonsten beschränkt sich die Kritik "nur" auf den mehr als sportlichen Preis wo 250,00 rum doch eher der Realität entsprechen würden in Relation zu den kleineren Mäuschen.
Das Display ist meiner Ansicht nach nciht mehr State of the Art und müste ein Touchscreen sein.

Erstklassiger Zugewinn und jeden Cent Wert.
Ich habe das Produkt direkt bei 3DConnexion gekauft und nutze es täglich im CAD. Sie erleichtert die Arbeit extrem und hat man sich einmal daran gewöhnt, will man nie wieder darauf verzichten. Im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger, dem Space Pilot Pro, besitzt die Spacemouse ein viel größeres Display, dass jetzt endlich softwareseitig so unterstützt wird, dass es praktisch nutzbar ist. Ich habe mir alle Shortcuts auf die Tasten gelegt und beschleunige so noch einmal die Arbeit. Zudem gibt es jetzt endlich eine "Delete" Taste. Die Maus ist jeden Cent Wert und wenn man viel im CAD oder ähnlich arbeitet, würde ich immer dieses große Modell empfehlen anstatt eines der abgespeckten Modelle.

Rückschritt in der Ergonomie, läuft nicht stabil mit Catia
Wenn ich könnte würde ich auf meinen Spacepilot zurück switchen, der hatte alle Tasten an der richtigen Position und lief fehlerfrei .
Hier muss ich täglich zweimal den Stecker ziehen um wieder vernünftig arbeiten zu können. Mehr Frust geht kaum.

Was man für 3D braucht
Ich war schlau? Ich kenne das Vorgängermodell aus meiner Arbeit in der CAD. Also war die Entscheidung einfach. Macht das Navigieren im Raum viel einfacher. Und die vielen Tasten noch dazu angenehm. Da fällt mir eine Idee auf, die man dem Hersteller verkaufen könnte. Unter dem Logo (z.B.) könnte sich eine Bildschirm anzeige über aktuelle Belegung der Tasten verstecken. Sonst muss man es zu schnell auswendig lernen oder Zettelwirtschaft betreiben.

Lässt sich nicht als Maus betreiben
Ich habe beim Kauf gehofft, dass sich das Gerät als Mausersatz benutzen kann. Das ist nicht der Fall es funktioniert nur mit ausgesuchten Programmen. Aus diesem Grund habe ich es zurückgesendet.
