Reliable and durable for water.
Very effective. Keeps water boiling hot or icy cold for many hours. Although I don’t recommend drinking directly from the thermos. Pouring in a cup first is better.
Also cleaning the pouring cap is very difficult if you use it for anything other than water.

Good looking and neat lid, but the lid also "leaks" heat like crazy.
Like the look of this bottle. Design is cool. The bottle part holds heat well. The cap has a neat design for pouring.
HOWEVER, the plastic cap gets hot which means heat is leaking out through it. If you keep the red plastic lid/cup over it, it helps a lot but this also means you can't use it for drinking.
Seems to clean up well with a simple bottle brush and soap.
Would give it 5 stars if the cap was better insulated somehow.

Unusually poor design for a Zojirushi product
I have half a dozen Zojirushi products, all of which have been great. This item, however, seems to have some design flaws which cause a lot of leaking. Firstly, as noted by many people here, the spout makes it difficult to pour without spilling liquid. This can be mitigated though by pouring slowly, so I can live with that.
What is much more frustrating is my flask leaks from its seal. I have contacted Zojirushi who let me know it might be a seal issue, but that seals are not covered by warranty. Problem is, this is a very new flask, and the seal is installed properly and is fully intact. Rather than being a issue with the seal per se, I believe the issue is the top-piece is not designed with enough range to screw into the flask such that enough pressure is exerted on the seal to prevent fluid leaking into the thread when the flask is poured.
I would avoid this item.

Keeps the hot stuff hot!
This replaced an older thermos-brand carafe that couldn't keep liquids hot more than a few hours. This new one keeps my tea piping hot all day. One day I forgot to bring it to the office and the next morning the tea was still a good, hot drinking temperature - 24 hours later!

Very cute!
This bottle is very cute; it looks exactly like the picture and in the exact same color. It's large but super lightweight. It kept my hot water hot till the next morning. I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

UPDATE-Great at keeping hot-horrible at not leaking
This is the best thermos for long term heat retention that I have owned in the last 40 years. Unfortunately, it leaks from the spigot when closed and therefore must be kept upright. If you lay it on its side or even tilt it 45 degrees when it is full, it will leak out the top where one is supposed to pour from. Best to be used around the house as opposed to commuting back and fourth where it can turn over.*****UPDATE-Contacted customer. They responded next day and advised what the problem may be an unseated stopper gasket. Upon closer inspection, I could see that was the problem. Leak problem resolved. Happy to give it 5 stars.

Molds build up
I wish I can send you pictures of the spout where liquids comes out. It was good for keeping my coffee warm for six hours, but after using for three months, molds start to build up by the spout. Been cleaning it with Q-tips, but not enough, how do I clean this? This where liquid flow and it is health issue.

Great design, clean the spout to avoid dribbling
Keeps tea plenty hot, and I haven't had any issues with it dribbling. On the contrary, it pours a little more smoothly than my smaller zojirushi bottle, meaning it splashes less in the cup.
Edit: after a few weeks, it does now dribble, though periodically cleaning the spout with a pipe cleaner prevents that.

Excellent thermos!
Great looking, easy to use and lean and keeps liquids hot for a long time. The size is just right as well and the spout works better than just about any I've seen. The pour stream is very precise, which ia essential if you drink yerba mate.

It's the best thermos I've own.
This is the best thermos I've ever had. Keeps my coffee very hot for hours. You can't tell how hot it is because the outside insulation is cool to the touch. Be careful it's hot.

Holds heat really well
Water is hot after the night at about 10F, stored outside, with no additional insulation! Saved us some gas on melting the snow :) At room temperature, will still be piping hot the next day. 100 gram lighter than our old thermos.
