Great mini amp really good clean sound speakers of a good quality when playing ipod through it great sound is produced.I bought this to replace a cube practice amp and the difference is night and day

I bought this amp because I needed a way of getting a decent guitar sound onto my laptop. I have a main desktop system with an amp modeller & interface but, as part of my tuition work, I needed some portable method of achieving the same thing. This little amp is great for getting a mix or clean/dirty tones and hooks up to the laptop seamlessly with zero latency. I use the amp as the sound playback device & it has a BIG sound when playing back backing tracks & mp3s.

....this amp is awesome, perfect for home practice yet packs a punch when needed. USB capabilities, neat tuner and quick tone switches makes this a very versatile amp. Plus the retro look is cool, has to be a 5 out of 5 for me..

This little box makes a lot of noise. Most of the sounds from it are decent and you have a selection of reverbs and effects which are all good. It has a built in tuner which is handy. It came with a version of Cubasis if you want to connect to a pc, but its taken a lot of messing about to get that working. For me its perfect for the front room, not a great big black box and makes plenty of good noises.

Great to begin with and the switch suddenly doesn't want to work, therefore I cannot turn the amp on.
I am very disappointed in the design as it's a very cheap switch and have requested a refund!!
This has been a great inconvenience.
I was looking forward to this amp as I have read such great reviews and I'm very disappointed I won't be able to use it.

There are lots of basic practice guitar amps on the market. The Yamaha looks more like a radio than an amp. There are lots of features in it, reverberation, chorus, delay etc and with a bit of experimentation the amp helps a beginners attempts at playing sound good, an encouraging feature. So if you do not need a big box look on your amp, and have lots of features, then this amp is a good alternative.

Best sounding micro amp out there. A lot better then the boss katana. Sound ranges from warm and full to a toppy tone. Clean channel
With delay and reverb is the best. The ability to plug a smart phone/ music player directly into the amp is brilliant for practising playing along to songs.

i use it for a line in, which sadly doesnt have its own volume and needs to be set on the device itself, as an amp, its bloody brilliant running on batteries outside, 5 simple amp emulators, with various effects which are not too shoddy,

The sound rings out dreadfully when I play making them unusable. Will be applying for a full refund. I'm guessing it's a fault with the item I received but it's unacceptable for such an expensive product

I'm by no means an amp expert, but this is a cool one that lives up to its reputation. Great loudness for it's size, a couple built in effects for some variety, and the most interesting feature in my opinion, it works as a USB audio interface.

The amp is perfectly fine for a practice amp. I ended up getting annoyed at the fuzz sound, I tried two different guitars, two different cables and two different rooms but to no avail. I ended up the Boss Katana 100, but it’s quite large.

Currently using this for an electro acoustic ukulele. Even my son thinks the use is cool, especially on the crunch setting...it’s got a fantastic sound. Now I have got my eyes on a les Paul, my son will completely want to have a go...I suppose I will have to get him a guitar for Christmas 😀😀😀

small, yet powerful, new age with old sounds that tingle your senses...plus all the modern sounds that cover all...no need for pedals nor mixers...just plugin and play....

Great little practice amp. It is tiny in fact but delivers great punch. There is a definite differnce between the pre-set amp settings and the guitar effects.
The Cubase recording software is a real bonus as well.
Amp looks more like a vintage radio but i love the design

Goes absolutely brilliantly with my Yamaha YEV 104 electric Violin.
The hall and reverb is unbelievable for the size of the amp. Pretty much all I use now.

Cracking wee amp. Enough headroom to use with a pedal board for quieter home practice. On board fx are ok and tap timer and tuner are useful. Great wee amp.
