- + Отличное устройство для дома, все ожидания оправдались. Качество супер. Даже ради интереса настроил печать с мобильника. Работает, но меньше опций настройки печати.
- - Пока нет, посмотрим, что будет с заменой картриджей на неоригинальные,т.к. оригинальные стоят очень дорого.

I bought this printer on sale at another website the week before last. I settled on this one for three reasons:It was very reasonably priced, especially for a color laser. The Amazon price is very good too.The toner cartridges have about the same consumption rate as the ones for my HP color laser but cost less. (My only gripes with them so far is that my normal office supply dealer doesn't carry them and they don't seem to be readily available off-the-shelf at the major office supply chains.)At 24 pounds, the printer weights just a little more than half my HP laserjet. It's also got a nice, small footprint, so it doesn't need a lot of space. Compared to most other laser printers, I'd go ahead and say this thing is as close to portable as you're likely to get.The weight was actually my main concern. I run a dealer's table at several science fiction conventions and do a lot of printing on the road. Since I also have a seriously screwed-up back, it was past time to get something I could lift in and out of my car easily AND would still be as cost-effective to operate as the 45-pound HP behemoth I've been dragging around.So far, the Xerox is doing well on all counts. The print quality is slightly better than my HP on photographs, about the same on text.It came out of the box in perfect condition. Setting up was easy, but Windows Vista does not have drivers for it. I wouldn't be surprised to find out the same is true of Windows 7, though the printer is compatible with both operating systems. (If you're a Linux user, this printer will also work for you. Assuming you can believe what it says on the box, anyway.) The printer comes with the drivers on a CD, though - no worries there. Found it interesting that you have the option with this printer of going through your computer's USB port or ethernet connection. I did the USB connection, but it's always nice to have options.So far I've had no trouble with jamming or anything else, but I haven't run anything but regular paper through it so far.I'll revisit and update this review after I've used it a bit more and it's gone on its first road trip.Additional comments, 7/30/2012Just spent the weekend putting this printer through its paces. I'm still very keen on it, but there are a couple of things to be aware of.First, it really is impossible to get the cartridges off the shelf, although I suppose a Xerox dealer might have them. From what I've been told, Xerox is just a bit weird about letting other people sell their cartridges for them.Second, this printer doesn't have a whole lot of memory so big documents could be a problem. I sometimes have Word documents of about 25mb (lost of graphics) and this printer will not handle them all at once. I've found a couple of ways to get around this, but since these big documents are one of the things I need this printer to do I was a bit disappointed.Otherwise, I stand by the five stars I gave it to begin with. The print quality is excellent, and this thing prints a lot faster than the laser printer it's replacing. I've tried out the manual duplexing and it works great. Both of which features outweigh the slight difficulty presented by the lack of memory.

I like this printer. It is replacing a Laser Jet 2600n that is showing its 7 or 8 year age. The printing is great. The price was good ( caveat - I haven't had it long enough to buy toner which can be pricey ). However, ...The setup process is awkward and not helped by the fact that the only documentation you get in the box is a large ( 19 inch x 25 inch ), multilingual ( 15 EU language ) two sided sheet of paper with diagrams that can be difficult to interpret. There simply isn't enough text there to clarify what some of the diagrams are trying to tell me. Since I make my living supporting complex software on UNIX and Windows I have lots of experience with interpreting software manuals. Diagrams and hardware however are not my strong point. There are 12 short sentences to give you an idea of what these diagrams are intended to represent. After a lot of comparing diagram to printer, trying to figure out how to open some of the component or get at some of the ports, I was eventually successful. A bit more text and a bit less white space would have simplified this process significantly.The print output is great. The text is crisp, clean and very true to the fonts that I have run through the printer. The graphics are spectacular. I printed a picture taken on my Panasonic Lumix FZ-40 on a regular sheet of paper. The color match was impressive. It looked more like a professionally developed photo than something printed on regular paper with a laser printer. I did not specifically measure the time taken to print either text or graphics. Text seemed satisfactorily fast and the graphics time was better than the LaserJet 2600n.The bottom line is that this printer gives impressive performance at a bargain price. If the installation process were better documented, I would rate this at 5 stars. If that is not an impediment for you, consider it a 5 star printer. However, keep in mind that I have not attempted to buy supplies. You are looking at mail order since your average local store is not going to carry toner for your Xerox Phaser 6500N.

We have owned this for about a month and we love it! We own an in home daycare and print a lot of stuff! We had become frustrated with inkjets that guzzle ink like a 1 ton truck on gasoline and decided on a laser because they have become more affordable. We are still using the "shipping" toner cartridges and have gone through 2 reams of paper with no "low toner" signal yet. With ink we would have already spent about $250!!! Common complaints about picture quality depend on the original. If it is a low resolution to start with, that's what gets printed. We get good pictures (great color too!) using ones downloaded from our camera! The print speed is faster than any ink jet we ever owned!?! Common complaints about footprint and weight are misleading because lasers are more complex and do have more parts to them. Ours has its own little stand and we accept it for what it is. The only complaint on this is the wireless operation is really slow if you don't add memory (just hard wire it!) If you want 2 sided (automatic) feature, buy the one with the duplexer.

Gone are the days of just sending an easy fax. This is a great machine, but it's got so many features that it is less fax friendly the Xerox 665 workcentre that we replaced with it. We tried to get it to scan with our network and that failed. So, now we need to get another tech out to fix that problem. You don't get a book, but can figure out from the on line documentation how to make it print a fax confirmation sheet with each fax. On the old machine that was easy. The quick start book on this machine has little information beyond set up. I am sure that once we get it running to scan on the network it will be fine. It scans color to a usb though and that's nice. It also prints rapidly, but only in black and white. All in all though it's a lot more machine than we needed just for sending and receiving mutlipage faxes.

Very high quality images for such a small printer footprint. It does not have an auto duplexer, but it is still very easy to print on both sides of the paper by following the directions the printing software provides on the computer screen. The paper tray is not very high capacity, but for a small desktop laser printer that wasn't important to me. It warms up relatively quickly and prints reasonably fast--especially for it's size. The toner cartridges aren't cheap, and the initial black cartridge is not the full 2,000 page capacity version so be aware that you may have to buy another one sooner than you think. But overall, it blows away anything similar that we have used.

Update 3/23/2013: Xerox has updated their printer driver to correct the power save bug. I'm updating this review to give 5 stars up from 4!The Xerox 6500N is a solid color laser printer. The color resolution is exceptional for the price, offering near-photographic quality. The cost of ownership is quite low, with 4 separate color cartridges you only need to replace the color you run out of.There are a few very small things to keep in mind with this printer:1. Although it has a rather small form factor, it's very heavy for its size.2. It's quite a bit louder than most laser printers. If you keep this in your office, place it as far away from a telephone as possible.3. The USB port works perfectly and is lightning fast. If you run this as a workgroup printer on a network, though, be aware that there's a bug in the network printer driver. If the printer is on your network and the printer has gone into power-saver mode, about one print job in ten will fail to "wake up" the printer, and the print job will time out with an error. That can be frustrating, but Xerox is usually very good about correcting this sort of bug and it's a fairly new model printer.Overall, a very good choice for the budget-conscious office.

This is an expensive machine, too expensive to for the problems I have had with it. It takes forever to warm up and copy. I've spent a significant amount of time fixing jams during coping and scanning. The paper tray has been broken since I purchased it.Since it is a home office copier, you have to find a dealer who can work with the company to fix it. It took a long time to find someone that could repair it under warrantee and they were located outside the Seattle area so I had to lug this heavy thing there and back and still it is not fixed. It has been a headache for 3 years but was too expensive to dump. I am waiting to get my money's worth before dumping this lemon and finding something else.

I have owned a Xerox Phaser for the past 6 years, (8500, 8850, 8560). After an electrical outage damaged my latest printer, I decided to look into a less expensive alternative, and purchased the 6010N. Big mistake. This is the worse model I've ever had. Broken right out of the box. It keeps showing the jam code, even when there is no paper in. I was able to print three regular pages before the paper jam display came on.Messed around with it and then tested it on 80lb card stock, which it claims to be able to take. No luck. Not in the regular tray, not in the bypass tray. The card stock, (and then later when I switched back to regular paper), would be pulled in about 1/8 inch, and then the jam display would come on. It literally took me an hour to print 4 pages. I had to stand there like it was a sewing machine, one page at a time. 12 color pages per minute? More like 15 minute per color page!On top of that, because of the way it feeds, it curls the paper badly. I had to place a heavy book on top of it overnight to flatten out the pages. If I wasn't using this printer for business, I probably would be able to tolerate it. But the fact that it does not do what it claims to do, (and in my case, print on card stock), it's a bad investment.When I opened the back panel, (where you would normally find paper if it jammed), I noticed that the roller that is supposed to feed the paper in, is not securely positioned, and misaligned. When I touched it, the spring came out! THIS WAS AFTER ONE DAY OUT OF THE BOX!If I had to find good things about it, I'd say it's the size. At ~25lbs, it sits nicely and compact on my shelf, compared to the 75lb monster that is the 8500/8550/8560. The output, (when I was able to print), was fairly decent in terms of both graphics and text. Personally, I don't think it beats the 8560 in terms of crispness, especially line art. I'm guessing this is the difference between using toner ink vs. ink blocks. But it's acceptable, even to me as a graphic designer.However, the bad outweighs all the good. Skip this model if you don't want to waste your time and money. After spending two days with Xerox tech support, and not being able to print anything business related, I realized I should have just continued with the 8500 series. Save yourself the headache.

If I could give this negative stars I would. It was just fine initially, but it had a mechanical issue and needed some warranty work. No big issue there sometimes things fail. However this has now sat in a Xerox official warranty repair shop for two months, as Xerox has completely failed to support the product as there are NO repeat NO repair parts available.Xerox should be ashamed of their performance. I have to replace a full function office printer and install an office colour laser printer in the next month. Guess which manufacturer is not in the running.......Steer well clear, at all costs.

This printer makes my previous inkjet printer look lame. However in my set-up, where we are frequently printing envelopes, the printer is a little too smart for its own good. There is a lot of confusion about how to get it to print from the tray versus the manual feed, and how to tell the printer what it is printing on. We are doing better with practice, but we never had so much difficulty adapting to previous printer upgrades.

I have wasted my money on this machine. Every month or so I have to call the IT (Information Technology) to set it up over and over again. I am using it mostly as a Fax machine. It suddenly stops receiving faxes, the machine keeps shutting itself off and on every minute. All the cheaper Brother machines that I have used in the past have worked so much better than this machine. I will never buy any Xerox product again!

We would highly recommend all the Phaser Printers. We own 6 printers (all are color except this one). We use this as a back up printer and mainly as a fax machine.The solid ink printers are unreal in the quality of print. The laser printers are good too. Supplies are pricey though! We also would recommend that you only buy OEM parts. We ruined 2 printers by buying supplies that were not XEROX. You may find it cheaper to keep buying a new printer versus the supplies too?

If your printer is at or near the 10,000 copy mark it may stop working and tell you that you need a new imager unit. The 6120 is a reliable workhorse printer and produces execellent output.Replaced the imager unit with this unit and printer has been back up and running for 6 months.Well worth the investment to keep your system up and printing. This printer has outlasted my Xerox 8550 and 8560 color (Wax) printers and is very easy on the pocketbook if you opt for OEM compatible cartridges.

I am happy with the product, i had only a missundesrtood with seller because i use the iphone app and i didn't see the tracking number in the app, however i contacted the seller and i have noticed that if i go into my amazon account in a computer, i have all the information available. I think the only thing is that the seller has to fill everything right so the users can see the info on the iphone app. Now that we've talked i really recommend this seller!

My Mac-based small business runs off of this printer, and I absolutely love it. I used inkjets for so many years, but now, never again! It's fast, not terribly loud, prints very good quality, seems economical with its ink, and so far it's been pretty much problem-free.My only beef with this printer is that it doesn't like to print on cardstock and other slightly-thicker types of paper. Sometimes it will, sometimes it won't.

Actually it was damaged. It would not seat in my printer. I had to put old one back in (with a little life left) and order this from someone else. May be just my order. Good news, Amazon let me return it with not problems.

This is an excellent color printer for personal and small office use.I purchased the 6010 with Ethernet, plugged it into the wireless router in my network, loaded it up with paper (toner was pre-installed) and booted up my Mac.My Mac immediately recognized the printer, installed the driver, and I was off to the races.My first color printed page popped out quickly, with crisp text and good quality graphics.Since then, the printer has been a reliable workhorse for everything I've needed. It works well with a variety of stock from 20 pound "daily paper" to heavier Hammermill 60 pound Color Copy Digital Cover. Every printout has been clean and fast, setup was quick and flawless, the printer consumes little power (and wakes up nearly instantly from "power save" mode), and whenever I need a printout, I just hit "print." It's exactly as a personal color printer should be. The low price and the quality construction are just nice bonuses.

This machine is advertised as being able to scan to e-mail and the Xerox sales rep assured me it would scan to my Yahoo e-mail. After seven hours over two days trying to reach someone in Xerox technical support, I found out this printer will NOT scan to my e-mail. The Xerox engineer said that e-mail providers such as Yahoo and the others have gone to SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and this machine is incapable of scanning to that. To obtain that function, he said you have to purchase the 3550 version, but that machine is heavier, larger and more than double the cost of this one.Also, Xerox customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. For Tech Support, you have to wait on hold for an extended period of time before someone in Manila answers the call. The guy knew nothing about the scanner function and nor did his supervisor. I was told I had to speak to someone in Level 2 and that was another half hour wait on hold. That person also knew nothing and nor did her supervisor. By day 2 of this, I finally found someone in Customer Service who located an engineer for me to speak to. After going through 25 minutes of set up, he finally remembered that this machine will not scan to e-mail since it doesn't work with the SSL encryption software that nearly every e-mail provider now uses. The entire process was a huge waste of time, and now I have to return the machine. I will never purchase another Xerox product.

Please be careful! This is a printer of 1999!!, and 'THERE ARE NO DRIVERS' for Windows 7,Vista and even for Win XP ... How is it possible that they sell a printer that is no longer compatible with any current operating system today??, and that also Xerox ends to give support and software to this printer, for over 12 years??.... Sorry for my english.

Just bought one of these after my cheap Samsung printer died on me. The print quality on this would be competitive with printers at 2-3x the price. Also, you can refill the toner cartridges for very little money, which makes the price per page about as cheap as anything I've seen.

I had been buying the Xerox Phaser 3200MFP/N Multi-Function Network Printer/Fax/Scanner/Email for branch offices I support but was very disappointed in the quality and cost per page. So when Xerox came out with the 3300 MFP I was interested in seeing how it compared.While the part number maybe close, the machines are completely different. The 3300 MFP is more rugged, with a real paper tray (optional add on paper trays available), a lower cost per page, and better paper handling. It offers all of the features you would expect on a modern laser, scan to e-mail, network scanning, printing, and faxing. I have purchased 5 of these so far (now 10). The initial firmware these some of the units shipped with was buggy and as noted by another reviewer the Web user interface (UI) did not work in IE and other browsers. However, Xerox soon corrected that problem with a significant firmware update that corrected the UI and even required new drivers on the work stations.Setup and administration was very strait forward via the Web interface (nearly identical to any other Xerox copier). You can import address books for fax and e-mail, and tweak all of the default settings. I have had no complaints from the users and with 9+ (now 14+) months of usage under there belt, these printers continue to perform well.Other vendors may have similar products, but one area Xerox has really shined is there onsite technical support. While no of my 3300's have required onsite services, Xerox has always come through for me on other units I have installed. (The onsite warranty is an optional add on.) (I have had one ADF feeder that had some problems jamming but they were quick to repair it)So where does this unit come short? It does not support SSL for SMTP which means if you use Gmail or some other vendor that requires SSL for SMTP you are going to have trouble. One work around to this is setting up a computer running STUNNEL ([...]) a free open source project that you can use to proxy through. The other feature lacking is LDAP support for a centralize e-mail address list. The only other "weakness" it has is a limited darken/lighten range when making copies. It has this feature but it does not have the same range that a full blown copier has.Bottom line if you are looking for a solid, cost effective, multifunction unit, in my opinion, this is it. (Revised this review because it does support duplexing which I had incorrectly stated it did not. My review is other wise still the same after more than a year of usage.)

The only two things which I do not like about this machine is that it takes a long time to warm up and be careful do not put whole punched sheets in the feeder, it will screw up your feeder sometime in the future.

Bought the Xerox Phaser 6010N on sale, has worked fine for two months. One paper jam easily fixed. Excellent color reproduction for graphics / web images. Prints quickly; not as noisy as some black and white laser printers.

The price on this printer is just perfect.Packed with features, Web UI is feature rich.Quick to set up.Easy for people to just walk up and understand.Detailed documentation.I have used the more upscale Copy centers for years and this is very comparable to a $15k printer.Xerox made a truly great product for this one.

The Xerox Phaser 3300MFP has delivered more than I expected at a very reasonable cost given the system's capabilities.1) Physical installation is a snap-- just remove it from the carton, plug cables into the only places they fit, remove the tape that holds doors closed, insert the toner cartridge, unlock the scanner mechanism and it's done. In our case we also added the second 250 sheet paper tray which equally simple.2) Software installation on a Windows-7 Professional platform was limited to inserting the CD-ROM, telling it to use a network connected printer, and picking the printer from a displayed list.3) Setting up the printers firmware uses the web interface which worked exactly as expected and offered no problems that an occational quick look into the on-line manual failed to cure.4) EVERY feature worked as documented, including scan to Email, scan to Network, and FAX forward to Email.The web interface can be a bit difficult for people with little or no ability to actually read and follow instructions. But if you open the manual in one browser window and the machine's web interface in another and then accept that Xerox knows more about their machine than you do... it all works fine.Some features are especially nice. One very useful one is that it you can put a stack of pages in the feeder and then scan them directly to a folder on your computer in one of several formats. Another useful feature, especially for small business types, is that incoming faxes can be set to automatically forward to your email as a PDF file. This is great because if an order or contract is sent by fax you can get it on your Blackberry or iPhone when away from the office.The only "fault" I have with it is the machine's control panel. It uses a telephone keypad for all data input which makes things like entering Email addresses and mixed-case passwords sluggish. Perhaps Xerox will put a better human interface on the next generation.Otherwise... a very good product that demonstrates good value.

Please excuse the enthusiasm but in over 20 years of purchasing computer equipment (lots), this is the finest product I have ever seen. This is not unbridled enthusiasm, as I had always associated the Xerox name with bullet-proof mass copiers. What a huge and pleasant surprise.Ease of Use? Let's just put it this way: "We don't need no stinkin manual man!" Actually I never read the manual to set up, network, USB connect, print, fax or make coffee with it. And customer support is second to none. Telephones are answered by friendly and knowledgeable people.Close your eyes and trust this product. The used-to-be-world champion of printers is now Gone With the Wind in my opinion. That's right. I gave my brand-new XX printer away when it went on permanent strike after only light usage.This MFP machine is worth more than the price on it. And, after too many thousands of dollars of purchases, Amazon has yet to fail me.Very few things in life are this easy: Xerox and Amazon.

The print and scan quality are good. Interface and usability are bad. This device gets a one star rating because it does not do what it advertises it can do. Network scanning is only available via PC (not much of a surprise) although they don't tell you that when you buy the thing. It also claims that it can scan to email over the network. It really can't, not if your email server requires SSL, like 90% of email servers do. Duh! None of these limitations are listed anywhere, and the only way to discover that the scan to email doesn't work with SSL is to call tier 2 technical support to discover it. If you buy it and can't get it to work within a week, it isn't you. The machine doesn't work. Rather, I should say that it does not work as advertised, hence the one star rating.

My phaser 6250 screamed for months before the alert appeared saying it need a new fuser. Now it's quiet. I couldn't figure how to install but a friend helped. It works great.

Dont be seduced.Paper jams about 3 times a day, every day.Scanner jams quite often, unless document is perfectly fitted to the roller.The setup was non-intuitiveWorst of all, I bought this from Amazon. When I called Xerox for tech support, they informed me--that while it was new--it was a 'resell' and tech support would be 'for fee'

I got sick of tracking down random drivers for the recent barrage of consumer grade printers that I've been using so found one that can use a generic postscript driver. I recall this being pretty standard on all laser printers about 15 years ago, but for some reason it's not like that anymore.Anyhow, this thing prints well and does the duplexing just fine. Scanning has been easy. I haven't used it to send a fax yet, but I would bet that since everything else works as advertised that will work too.I'll know more in the future as far as how long toner lasts and so on, but for now it's exactly what I thought I was getting and I'm happy.

I upgraded from an HP inkjet MFP. After some research I decided to go with the Xerox, my first xerox mfp, I have been very happy with the machine.The software the comes with the machine is very good, easy to use and does not overload your computer with stuff you do not need.The ability to scan a document to your PC from the machine is great! The scan quality is very nice.The web interface is easy to use and really gives you good control over the machine.The top document feeder is top quality too, the HP really had problems if the pages were bent a little, the Xerox will feed and scan just about anything.

I bought this printer for my husband who recently opened up his business. He needed a printer so I researched different brands. You can't go wrong with Xerox. The prints look very professional. I got the multifunction printer. All options work as they're supposed to. My husband is very happy with the printer once we were able to set up the settings. We had a bit of problem setting it up. Everything is okay now. I set it up as a network... piece of cake!

I've only spent about 6 hours with my new xerox phaser 3300 mfp and I'm very disappointed. It has a web page that is built into the machine. I have no trouble accessing it, but it is not compatible with any web browsers. I've tried FireFox and IE8 on a XP machine and FireFox and Safari on a mac. The navigation buttons disappears after you switch pages and the images don't load until you hold your pointer over them. It is just flaky as can be. Then, to make things worse, when I do attempt to change a setting, I get an "error on page" warning in IE8. So, I can't change settings.The manual is also full of errors. It is like it was written for a different machine and pasted into this machines manual and not fully updated to be accurate with this machine. It tells me to go to areas in the browser accessible control panel that simply don't exist. If Xerox reads this, look how it tells you to set SMTP in the browser based interface and then look at the reality of where the SMTP settings are.I called Xerox and he confirmed the errors in the instructions and confirmed that it isn't compatible with hardly any "new" browsers. He said it worked with a lot of outdated versions of popular browsers. He had me download OPERA rather than reverting to an older version of IE. Now it works fine, but I still have to figure it out without much help from the manual as it is not written with any degree of accuracy.T

7400 was fine. But Xerox have screwed up the drivers with this one for Mac users. Spent two hours on phone with Xerox and recieved "beta" drivers not available on the website. Just moved offices and now we are back to square one--very badly designed install/uninstall. Symptoms: crashes when going to print, stuck in dialogue box, sends to printer and processes job forever.

I have owned this printer for several months. It is fast, the print quality is excellent, and I am especially pleased by how accurately it prints fine lines in line art.However, the facilities for printing envelopes (the "smart" tray) are inferior. It only holds about 15 envelopes without jamming. If you want to print several hundred for a mass mailing, you have to sit and constantly feed the smart tray, and unjam it frequently.The other problem is the sensor for replacing the toner cartridge. You are told your cartridge is low for weeks before it actually is, even if you run a home business where you use the printer heavily. And, you are not permitted to decide when to replace the cartridge. While the copies are still perfect, and there are no streaks or faint spots anywhere, the "replace cartridge" red light comes on and the printer will not print one single more page till you put in a new cartridge. Forget about running the printer a little faint for awhile, or shaking up the cartridge to get another hundred decent pages before you put in a new one. As cartridges are expensive, and there is no indication how much toner is really left in the cartridge you are forced to throw away, this is an expensive "feature."
