- + высокая плотность записи - 800 ГБ на пластину, соответственно в диске только 3 пластины, отсюда надежность (надеюсь), относительно слабый нагрев (35 С с обдувом) и высокая скорость доступа

- + 8 лет работают Raid-1 в серваке и до сих пор не развалились, ну естественно комфортные условия проживания, используются под данные виртуалки (терминального доступа пользователей 20 чел -1ТБ) и фаервол. + пара реплик Hyper-V с другого сервака по 60 ГБ
- - диски не предназначены для работы в NAS с активным использованием на 70 пользователей для офисных небольших файлов разваливаются через 3-5 лет, но это опять-же скорее зависит от железа в котором они используются и как это железо организует там пространство под свои данные. на фотке померший диск.

A little over a year ago, i purchased a WD My Book World II edition NAS. These units come with the WD Green drives in them. Over the past year, I have managed to have to return 4 of these drives as defective (both original and a couple refurbs). With such important files (such as family pictures/video, music, etc), I felt it necessary to get best-in-class drives to run in this unit. The RE4 drives are enterprise class drives and (in spite of also producing the attrocious green drives) WD makes a very good high-end drive. After running in my MBWE for a few months, i decided that these drives in that device was complete overkill. I have recently upgraded my NAS to the QNAP 200 series device. These drives were compatible and have rocked in the new device. I finally have a strong, reliable, and great performance RAID 1 device. I've now had these drives about 2 months and couldn't be happier. SPEND THE MONEY and get enterprise class drives for reliable storage devices!IF/WHEN these drives fail, i'll be sure to update this post....

Just got this drive so hard to say how it will work long term, but since it is an enterprise drive, it shouldn't have any problems.I do have one issue with it however. All my other SATA drives can take advantage of locking SATA cables. They snap in place when attaching the SATA cable to the drive. These drives do not allow the locking tabs on the SATA cable to lock, so they are on there by friction only.

1.This hard driver is used and it has too many old partitions that I fix it already.2. I like the merchandise that the price is cheapest and the quality is best as this hard drive.3. Nobody recommend this product to me, I just found it on your website.

I bought this hard drive to replace the one in my wife's HP laptop which died very suddenlyIt arrived promptly and worked fine, it's hard to say exactly how good it is but so long as it keeps on working for years to come we are perfectly happy with it

I bought one of these because I needed maximum storage with maximum reliability. I threw this in a Mediasonic HF2-SU3S2 ProBox 4 Bay hard drive enclosure. The enclosure accommodates 4x4tb hard drives. This leaves me with three more slots to put three more 4tb hard drives in when the price drops. No noise increase compared to my WD 1TB RE3 Enterprise HD.

I was able to, with some software tools and patience reprogram this drive to work flawlessly with my xbox as the primary HDD and use the full 320GB capacity. I have been running it for several months now with no problems with the drive or xbox live

For the last 6 months I have had four of these drives running in a FreeNAS system.All the drives have operated without any problems. They are fast and reasonably quiet.

Incredibly fast, quiet, reliable, and fully RAID-compatible.If you want the best damned 4TB drive available, this is it... but you'll pay dearly for it.
