скорость шпинделя большая, поверхность может гудеть (на которой стоит диск), я взял для бэкапа NAS

I'm currently using this Hard Drive as an internal Hard Drive for my PS3. It's a great way to save money if you don't want to buy an expensive console and would rather swap out a small drive for one similar to this.If you're making this a PS3 dive, the cache size doesn't matter and the RPM speed is a minimal improvement and not worth the money (stick with 5400 RPM). Make sure it's 2.5 In. and to go no larger than a terabyte (1 TB) because large drives can have problems.

I bought two of these hard drives, one to replace the original in my laptop, and one to upgrade my PS3. I bought the first drive to replace the original hard drive that was in my laptop and it is working great. The second drive went into my PS3 is also working great, but on the PS3 you do not get 500 GB you only get 465 GB capacity. The WD5000BPVT hard drive is a newer version of WD5000BEVT and will work in WD5000BEVT devices.

It works perfect. My ps3 was very laggy i replaced the HDD 160GB for this and resolved the problem.Funciona perfecto con ps3 slim, mi ps3 presentaba problemas al reproducir juegos como F1 2012 y Fifa 13 todo de congelaba cada 2 segundos, reemplace el disco duro de 160gb por este y problema resuelto, instalacion super sencilla

With close to no warning, the hard drive in my ASUS laptop, well crapped the bed. Luckily Amazon came to my rescue yet again! I was able to find a hard drive with everything I needed at a great price with PRIME shipping!The hard drive was an extremely easy install without any issues. It was incredibly fast to reinstall everything and set up my laptop again.A few days later and I'm loving how fast and well my computer runs. It makes me realize that I was settling for less with the original hard drive.

I have to write a paragraph a for every review so I figure to write something meaningless considering my laptop died and I returned item. Have no idea whether it is good or not although I received item as described in a timely manner.

I developed a problem with this drive and contacted WD via their website. Returned the drive using the RMA process. WD replaced the faulty 500 GB drive with a new 1 TB drive in less than 10 days.

Four of five ordered new perform okay after several months, one could not be formatted.The 8mb cache makes them distinctly slower than the 16mb cache they replaced, if speed is a consideration.
