What a product!

Let's get the negative feature out of the way - it vibrates too much.

Thanks to Amazon for delivering within a day of ordering.
The packaging was perfect.
The build is sturdy & the weight is slightly on the higher side.
It is easy to use & the time needed for haircut is drastically reduced.
Wahl should provide additional comb attachments since some consumers may prefer longer hair lengths.
Just as a comparison, the lower priced "Wahl 9243-4724 Home Cut Complete Hair Cutting Clipper" has 10 comb sizes whereas we get only 4 in this double priced product.
Will be interesting to see how the product ages as time passes by & if the blades manage to retain the sharpness. I have read foreign reviews where Wahl clippers last for couple of decades.

Solid sturdy product !

I kind of had to buy one because of the pandemic. I got this one from Amazon - super fast delivery, solid original Wahl product - embossed with 'Made in USA' for a change. It came unopened and neatly packed. It worked great and I recommend a wired/corded one over some lower priced rechargeable battery operated trimmers as this will last much longer than those batteries . PLEASE always read the manual and follow instructions - there is a reason they put one a printed booklet in there ! NOTE: If you are giving a friend or family member a haircut please watch several youtube videos before proceeding - there is a reason there is a profession called a 'hair dresser' ! However, you can manage a decent enough hair cut with a little practice.

First of all I was scared of with the noise it was making..and almost made up my mind to return it back. After all it's a 5k purchase.

But next day I decided to read the instructions carefully and give a shot. And then I found hose easy and safe it is.

Pleas follow the instructions, put oil on first attempt. Keep it away from water..etc. And main Adjust the screw to reduce the machin -noise. It is based on your plug voltage etc..
After that it is just a silent beast. Super cool.

Got my first hair cut by my self and that too without needing any mirror ( so you can imagine safe it is). It was absolute perfect.
Very happy with the performance.

Does the Clipper come heavily oiled.

Received the Clipper yesterday. Opened the box today. All seems good but the clipper is pre-oiled, rather heavily. If by policy the clippers are supplied pre-oiled, then it is OK and would say please don't oil so heavily. If that is not the policy then I have been supplied a pre-used product. I am not going to use it till I hear from you.
AS per your literature customers are supposed to oil it on receipt.
So, keenly looking forward to hearing from you.

WAHL is best

I’ve been using it for quite a some time now. I have used several other big brands in the past. Out of all, my experience with Wahl is best...

The blades are excellent. It cuts hair smoothly. First month, when I was getting used to it, I found that it was little heavy, and it was difficult to hold it after 15 to 20 minutes because of its weight and vibrations, but with time I got used to this now. I really enjoy trimming the beard. I am now able to trim my beard in 5 to 8 minutes..

Now, I have full confidence in Wahl trimmers and I can go for upgrade ( little expensive once 10 to 15k ).

Review after doing hair cut

Review after 1st hair cut.
Pros:
1. Easy to use
2. You can feel the power of motor while using it.
3. Cable is also long.
4. Product does exactly what promised in description.
5. Super fast delivery by Amazon. They delivered it in 6 hours.
Cons.
1. Aftey 5min of use handle become heated. So had to stop for a min so that it cool down.

Build to last

Wahl Professional 08466-424 Super Taper Professional Corded Clipper is a USA made hair clipper. The build quality is solid. Quite surprised to see US made product in India as I have used Wahl products earlier in USA, but they were made in China.
This product is customized for as it works on 220 V 50Hz power supply, no adapters required.
The product is professional grade hence bit heavy and you will vibrations while using it. We did 2 rounds of hair cuts back to back and it worked perfectly without any nicks or snags.
Overall good experience and would recommend it over the Chinese ones, they are cheap but will not last long...I am saying it with experience.

Worth every Penny

Came nicely packed and in time. Used it to give myself a fauji cut. Going to the Barbar is going to be a strict No No amidst Covid threat. Did it all by myself looking at the rear mirror. Did a fairly wonderful job. Slowly I will get the hang of it. The machine was flawless. The three sizes of combs supplied with it plus the inbuilt blade adjustment switch give the user the whole spectrum of size of cut. I never had to use the scissors. A must buy. A lot of my fauji colleagues are going to buy it because I shared the positive feedback on all my WhatsApp groups. Supplier..get ready for a ship load.

Excellent product and easy to use!

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my first use. The use of DIY products will go up in the Post-Covid world, and products like these will command value.

I found it very easy to use. Will of course need a little more practice.

The machine itself is very cute and handyand guiding it over my hair was no problem at all. At times it seemed too smooth, which can only mean good quality blades and a powerful motor.

The cleaning took about 30 minutes, perhaps because of my large shock of hair.

However, I will use this for a quick weekly trim and styling.

Go get one for yourself!

Be careful while buying this in India

I received it today. My first use experience, product is fantastic. Cuts fast and very well. Now question is why only 2 star from me. There are important reasons, which prospective buyer should review to avoid getting cheated.
1) My Wahl Super Taper was used by someone already. I can confirmly say that as I could see hair on it. Inside as well as outside packing of this product is not up to the mark. Amazon external packing was just a lose cardboard wrap from where you can see & replace inside. Wahl company packing was extremely pathetic. Anyone can open and keep whatever he likes inside. No hologram, no proper wrapping in packing.
Wahl an US company should visit India to see standard Indian companies maintain while packing and avoiding any malpractice in transport.
2) Main clipper is "Made in Hungary" and not "Made in US". Plastic comb attachment are "Made in US" surprisingly (which is not very expensive thing), oil is "Made In China".

Overall product is very good. But buying this product & expecting that you will get genuine unused company product is like throwing dice in Gambling wheel and expecting your number will come. In this category this is an expensive product. So be careful while buying this in India.

Initially I had doubt on buying as so many negative reviews but I bought it from cloudtail and it sealed pack & found orginal,most of them complaing about vibration & sound which you can control by adjusting which is clearly mentioned in the manual

It's the investment which you can easily get return by using it to your family within 3 months, after covid we needs to learn these arts to safeguard our family ,with this product anyone can become stylist with some trial-error & with YouTube .

The trimmer looks & feels solid hope it will last year's anyways after 6 month will update the review

Beauty with power

Today got a new brand wahl series of trimmer/ clipper, I am the first time user of this product after Philips...Love the way it’s cutting my hair and trim my beard..firstly I have to try on my brother’s hair it’s working very smooth and easy to use there is no any technicality which I was heard that from some other users... now it’s a professional one and after this I never go to salon ( beauty with powerful machine ) thank you amazon for fast delivery of this new sealed packed product
Before use this clipper/trimmer..please refer guide book provided inside the box.

Good product but a refurbished article was delivered.

The product is good. But the article which I received is refurbished. The reason for this conclusion is that I found few hair clippings inside the blade. Also, the blade quality looks different than the image provided by the Wahl company. All these observations can be found in the images that I have uploaded.

Quality product and must have

Product is very good and looks premium as compare to other brands like Philips. Earlier I was using Phillips qg3383 series 7000 for hair clipping. But now I found this best.
However, bit heavy to use so you need some hands on before using.

After 1st use review

This is a great trimmer. At 1st i was disappointed seeing the size. It is small compared to the ones we see in the salons. But it does pack a punch. It did a great job in cutting my hair and i was impressed by its power to size ratio.

I used it once only and i hope it stays up to this reputation.

Exceptional Hair Clipper

This clipper/hair cutter is genuine and built like a tank. It is for heavy duty use, and is used in many of the barber shops around the world. I saw many reviews and videos regarding this clipper and after researching I decided to opt for this cutter. It is well made, heavy as it should be and feels solid in your hands.

Heavy but sturdy

Heavy but manageable. Sturdy unit. Looks like a professional machine. Functions well. Pricing looks marginally on higher side. If life of product is for more than 5 years, then worth the price.
Not suitable for beard trimming as it won’t crop well.
