The best value for money clipper
The best deal and the worst packaging that I have ever received from Amazon. A solidly built trimmer. Neither too loud nor feels heavy. Go for it if you're looking for a professional clipper. Thought of giving only 4 star coz of the terrible packaging, but gave 5 stars for the crazy deal of just 2610 rupees.

Good trimmer but vibrates a lot
Good for hair cutting...does clean the beard very clean...vibrates a lot so can't hold for more that few mins. It's mainly for professionals users.

Go for it without hesitation
Easy to use...Earlier was deciding between syska battery vs this and also several other models. This is excellent...because of the taper its always easy to manage. Also don’t worry on the blades size. You can have a very decent cut as it has adjustable lever also which will enable to squeeze in more distance. In general the highest blade size is 13 mm and due to the taper you could have a decent cut. Gets warm but manageable. Go for it... you will not regret...also wire doesn’t cause any problems at all.
Seller could have packed in a better way. One of the guide has a slight bent but it’s not a big deal though.

Disappointing pkg, good performance
Packaging: The Wahl package was beaten up to say the least, see pics. The box was cleared opened, the re-taping was not proper, the box inside was also open. Fail to understand how the warehouse could even ship such visually damaged box!
Product quality at the first sight: When I first saw the product after opening it felt cheap, the edges of the clipper body was rough, you wouldn’t expect such quality from Made in USA product.
Product performance: The negatives end there, fortunately. I first read through the manual (one pager) that came with the clipper, applied oil before the first use & in an hour finished my & my son’s haircut! The noise & vibration levels were extremely low. A few reviewers mentioned of loud noise, that might be because of high vibration which could be due to voltage fluctuation, if you encounter that follow instructions on the manual to adjust the screw on side & that should take care of it. On performance front so far A+

It had taken nearly 7 days for me to analyse and to get what I need ?. I was looking for Haircutting machine (Clippers) not trimmers. Initially, I was thinking both were same, after going through various product and reviews.
I had gone through nearly 100 products and 250 reviews. Some people had reviewed their experience stating this product is fake, made in china, amazon had given used product and so on. Many had given good reviews.
To my experience this product is AWESOME. It's heavy and sturdy, if you are looking for a hair cutting machine (clippers) this is the right choice.
If you are looking for hair cutting do not look for price ranging 300-2500. You will get only trimmers.
Booked on 14th May and they had mentioned it will be delivered on 18th May. I received the product well-packed brand new on 18th May.
Please go through Manual fully before using the product. It is very simple.

More than expected
After seeing some of the reviews I thought I made a mistake, but after opening it I found those reviews are fake. I bought from cloudtail even though it is ₹50 extra for getting genuine product.
Quality is just awesome, saw some of Wahl UK videos to make first setup ready (using side screw to powerful) and lubing for first time use.
Only 4 attachment are given, they could've provided another 4 (upto 8) for complete solution.
While using it has more vibration but manageable. It is due to the power of the motor. Getting used this will take some time. But if we know the tricks or get used to this one will be awesome.
Some clippers fail to trim beard, this one with closed blades trims better than my old Philips trimmer (qt 4011).
Blades are user-friendly, it is more powerful due to it's speed. I was afraid of cuts during beard trim, but not even one cut during my first trim.
If one are used to cordless trimmers or clippers they will find this difficult due to cords, it is lengthy so it will not disturb the work.

I dithered quite a bit before making this purchase. Concerns of quality, cost, ease of use, reliability and durability were the key detractors.
Wahl Professional 08466-424 is a robust well made American product. The touch feel of the product is extremely good and after an initial akwardness, the robust and sturdy design inspires confidence. In these Covid times, my wife clipped my overgrown hair with extreme ease and dexterity.
The clipper needs to be adjusted and after a loud noise and heavy vibration, starts purring like a kitten at half a turn of the adjustment screw. The wire length is adequate, the accessories are useful. The length of hair to be left can be set thru spacers of different heights. Fine adjustment is possible without having to change spacers. The hair trimming quality is excellent.
The lube oil will have to be made available as spares or nce the small accompanying vial is finished. Did not see that being offered as spares.
All in all, I am pleased as a punch with my purchase and the biggest thing - it's not Chinese, not cheap but real value. After a long, long time, I felt the American robustness.

While some may find it heavy, it is actually not.
It is a wired product; while that is a small constraint, it's not a big issue.
I have used it just once and for a 60 year old balding guy, it is perfect.
The product and the packaging is somewhat underwhelming it doesn't have the finish that one would expect from a 'Made in USA' offering, but it seems to work OK.
I hope to use it going forward and skip going to the barber post COVID too.

The perfect trimmer to use at home
Since this is powered directly from mains supply, we do not need to worry about batteries/recharging, etc. The power chord length is also more than sufficient. You will need to adjust the armature screw on the side to "fine tune" it before starting to use and that will significantly reduce the overall sound and smoothness. Just make sure to clean the blades after every use before putting it away. Instructions provided in the user manual are more than sufficient for most users. Also so many videos available on YouTube/Internet if anyone has any doubts regarding this product.
This is a made in Hungary product with reasonable quality.

One hell of a professional clipper!
This one is exactly what I expected out of a clipper, with excellent control, power, optimum noise and vibration levels. Though noise is a little on the higher side, I am finding its noise lesser than my 5 year old Philips beard trimmer which runs out of battery and is smaller. The other feature I found commendable is the length of its power cord, its probably around 10 ft and is practically very good if your power socket is a little away from the mirror. Before buying this, I found some comments about its weight and vibration from some customers - I would say, its weight, vibration and noise levels are optimum for such a precise operation. If I have to be pedantic, I would say its not washable - in comparison to Philips trimmers/shavers, which are washable - though this is not a shaver. However, it doesn't get much dirty with hair, and can be easily (dry) cleaned. Overall, its worth a buy.

Sharp Blades
It's a perfect heavy duty hair clipper. They've got various caps that give you the flexibility to cut your hair to different lengths. The motor will not give up halfway through your haircut which is what makes it better than the smaller clippers. Especially if you are trying to cut your own hair this will be the best you can do. It has a wire (works only when plugged in) but that's because it's a heavy duty clipper I guess.

Must have in a lock down scenario.
This clipper has saved me from going to a salon in the wake of a pandemic. With some you tube lessons I could self cut my hair. This is heavy duty stuff and should last a life time if maintained well. This is a professional clipper used by barbers, and is not too difficult to use. Cord is long and attachments are cool, though I would have liked a number 5 and 6 combs ( other than 1-4) in the set apart from a bigger oil dropper than a tiny one.

Good Wahl Trimmer
Overall good product and value for money. Honestly, I have used MOSER trimmer earlier and in comparison, this trimmer have vibration is 10-15% more, this one is more sturdy with high quality material. Finishing and look are elegant. Size is almost same as MOSER. Smooth operations while cutting beard and hairs. 4 standard Combs quality is also reasonable, but can be improved. There is no comparison with Phillips 7000 series, as p7000 series is very light in weight, but with multiple type of combs.

Well built, sturdy cutter
This is a sturdy professional grade hair cutter. I purchased it for home haircuts to avoid hair salon visits. The product is more expensive than some of the other hair cutters in the market, and the quality of the plastics used could be better. The package I received was not sealed and seemed like was opened before delivery. However, I could see no visible damage or wear on the product.
The package comes with 4 cut size fittings, a comb, cleaning brush and a little bottle of oil. The usage is quite straight forward and there is a small user guide for beginners. There were some comments on the noise and vibration of the product. The reason for that is, this is tuned for a 60 Hz AC frequency and India power supply is 50 Hz. The cutter has a power screw on the side that needs to be tuned if you find that it is noisy. The cutter is also sensitive to any voltage and frequency fluctuations.

Small, but poor quality
The machine itself is very small and light, but the cable is very thick and heavy, same as what a 1000W kitchen appliance would have, which makes it MUCH more cumbersome to handle.
Also, the combs rattle and have a poor fit. The blade touches the comb during the operation, which makes it more noisy.
It feels like some average quality Chinese product. I can see on American Amazon that customers who bought this product 5 or more years ago were very satisfied but say the new batches are of a much poorer quality. I can confirm that! The trimmer is OK for hair but it's really bad for beard! It pulls the beard while trimming. For hair it's so-so, passable. Buy it only if you need a very portable travel trimmer. But even then, have in mind that the adapter and the cable are 3 times bulkier than the trimmer itself...

I just bought it due to the practical difficulties to have the hair cut at saloons during this covid 19 lockdown !
Lot of brands available! Still my hair stylist blindly suggested me to go with WAHL Super Taper ! He clearly told me to buy this brand without any sort of hesitation! Might be out of his experience!
I bought 2 set ! One for myself and the another one for my colleague!
Product quality looks good ! No compromises ! Performance is good ! I just tried a hair cut for my son ! He said it’s as good as he gets a cut at saloon !

genuine american havy duty perfect, only need 1" 1.5" and 2 " clipper comb
1. This is not a chinese product and is a genuine american havy duty
2. It is not a trimmer for beard bu it is a hair clipper (cutter to cur mens head hair.
3. it has 4 comb (comb needed to fit in clipper to set remaining hair length)
4. comb available wit this clipper are 4 attachment combs [#1 (3 mm), #2 (6 mm), #3 (10 mm), #4 (13 mm)],
5. 13 mm means half inch hair, it means short hair.
6. I have tested during lockdown and it is perfect.
7. one can self use it eaisly. I cut my hair my self without any help.

since the i am waiting it to be available before my hair fro again.
