A little expensive for what it is
I only ordered it for the larger water tank...as it turns out, the other parts and bits, I don’t have much use for them. So...a little expensive for just that purpose. Ordering the nespresso pod adapter was a wiser purchase. But quality is fine and everything works.

Extremely DANGEROUS product! Hot water tank can pop off, resulting in serious burns
I love the Nanopresso and think it's a great solution for situations where you can't get decent coffee otherwise. Getting the barista kit (even if overpriced) is the unavoidable next step for added convenience, as the Nano's own water tank only holds enough to make 1 shot and a half, which is never enough for me.
HOWEVER, the second time I used the barista kit I had a pretty bad accident: After I had filled the large water tank (no it wasn't overfilled - in fact the water wasn't even up to the max fill line), twisted to seal (as I had done many times with the original water tank with no issues), and inverted the whole unit to get ready to pump my espresso - the water tank popped right off, and spilled near-boiling water all over my left hand! Luckily I was next to the sink, and was able to run cold water on my burnt hand immediately to alleviate some of the damage. If this was at a camp site with no easy access to burn treatment, it could have been much worse. My burnt hand is still red and stinging all over though, and I'm typing with only my other hand right now to warn you about this.
Afterwards, I examined both Nano's original water tank and the barista kit water tank, and found that once the original water tank is twisted all the way in you cannot pull it off the main body without intentionally twisting it back off - BUT with the barista kit water tank, even if I twist it as far as it would go onto the main unit, half the time it actually doesn't sit level and can be pulled off fairly easily (so steam pressure from the hot water inside can push it open too).
If you still decide to give this a try, I'd seriously suggest that you test out the seal before adding hot water - and definitely be very careful when you do add hot water, so you don't end up burning yourself like I did!

Double shots on the go.
Overall happy with this. Makes it easy to make a double shot. Packs well and travels well. Only issue is that one of the baskets often gets stuck inside the reservoir when it is packed up for traveling. If pre-packing the baskets before travel, this can become an issue with coffee grounds spilling out when the backer fails to slide out. This design flaw doesn’t ruin the usefulness but it does limit it.

unfortunately almost necessary but well worth it
Unfortunately the base espresso maker only allows you to make 1 shot of espresso at a time so most coffee lovers almost have to buy this or else spend double the amount of time heating up water and pumping out a shot but it's well worth it.
It comes with 1x single-shot and 2xdouble-shot espresso shot cups for the espresso maker itself, an adapter which expands the room for the double-shot cup to sit within the espresso maker, a larger water reservoir needed to make a double shot, and a larger drinking cup than the single cup included with the base model.
I bought this as well as the base model and carrying case as a birthday gift for my husband since we travel/camp 1-2 a year and he loves it!

This is just a accessory ONLY kit. The description is misleading. I bought this as a gift, thank goodness they had the actual Wacaco Nanopresso Barista. This product is ONLY A ACCESSORY KIT. Over priced for what you get. Would not purchase again

Great espresso, but water tank can pop off and do serious harm
Love the coffee it makes (more on that towards the end of the review), so why 1 star review? It is dangerous to use:
I was excited about the product, read youtube reviews, advice on use and even the manual once I got my nanopresso.
When it arrived, it looked great, felt well made, and I loved how portable it was. I used it 2-3 times a day for 9 days.
During that time the water tank opened/popped off twice (both times the lager water tank from the barista set). First time it was during a party with a bunch of small kids running around. Luckily neither I not anybody else got hurt. I blamed the incident on my not paying attention, and I have been much more careful since then. Just yesterday evening the tank popped off again. This time boiling hot water poured all over my fingers resulting in a whole lot of pain and bad blisters. Luckily people around me only got splashed with warm water, so it did not hurt them. I still felt very guilty.
When I got my Nanopresso, I noticed that there was no locking mechanism to keep the tank in place, but I assumed that the design was safe. They would not sell it otherwise, right? yeah... apparently not so much.
With regards to coffee quality:
The coffee this little machine makes it very good, way better than starbucks and most other coffee shops I have been to (yeah, I am a bit of a coffee snob). Espresso is rich, full-bodied, and strong. I really enjoyed it every single time and I was looking forward to adjusting different parameters and experimenting with pulling the perfect espresso shot. None of this means anything because of the water tank design flaw.
Unfortunately, I do NOT recommend the product, and I do not want to try it again. My hand got seriously burned and it there is no way I will try this again. I will be returning mine ASAP and while I still like the idea, I will be much more sceptical when considering alternatives.

Love coffee? You won't regret this purchase.
Awesome product with a great design. The espresso you pull from this little device is actually shockingly good. This was a gift for my partner who used to work as a barista and it did not disappoint. I'd highly recommend. The only down side is you have to have hot water available, but this isn't too much of a hassle. The upside to that is your shots always have full body and never tasted burned. The coffee trastes and looks like its worth every penny.

- + Портативная, качественный пластик, есть металлическая сетка для фильтрации кофе во время нагнетания давления
- - За раз делается одна порция эспрессо и маленькая, чтобы сделать 0.3 американо надо 2 раза делать. Морока с прочисткой, нужно чтобы была вода для промывки ну или на худой конец полотенца или тряпка для обтирания от остатков кофе. И обязательно сушить перед хранением
Брал в поезд, если делать только на себя, то отличный вариант. Если делать на двоих или больше то уже западло

- + Удобная небольшая по размеру кофеварка, готовит эспрессо за пару минут, легко мыть и снова пользоваться
- - Немного непривычно нагнетать давление. Если идёт туго, то жду пару секунд, потом кофе идёт хорошо. Вкус тоже не будет как из профессиональной кофеварки, но в походных условиях идеально
Я сначала тупил, поэтому думал, что зря потратил деньги, но потом наловчился нагнетать давление, так что пью кофе регулярно.

приобрели уже второй девайс. у первого треснул пластик корпуса спустя 3,5 года эксплуатации, в результате чего сразу купили новый. очень удобно в поездках. Отдельно рекомендую приобрести адаптер для использования капсул.

- + Очень красивая, классная эргономика. Цвет приятный. Быстро разобрались, как работает. Вкусовые качества кофе, конечно, отличаются от кофе-машины, так как принцип приготовления другой. Но, в целом, нареканий нет.
- - Кофе получается холодным. Об этом выше уже писали. Но мне это не испортило впечатления.
Покупала в подарок. Для мужчины — идеально. Он крутился с ней, разбирался, потом довольный делал кофе. Не знаю, приживется она или нет, всё-таки больше похожа на игрушку. Проверим летом в походах ☺️

Маленькая компактная кофеварка. Не ожидал от неё такого взрослого вкуса.

Машинкой в целом доволен, маленькая, легкая, удобная, хорошо готовит, легко моется. НО на сайте ошибка, эта модель не готовит кофе из капсул Nespresso Original, для приготовления кофе из капсул должен быть еще один блок у машинки а его нет.

- + Кофе гораздо больше похож на эспрессо, чем заваренный в чашке или фильтр-пакете. Самому еще можно перебиться, а как подарок кофеману - отличная вещь.
Нужно немного поэкспериментировать дома, с разными помолами и количеством, чтобы найти оптимальный рецепт.

Практически не пользовался, и начала залипать помпа. На прогретом аппарате при нажатии на помпу она залипает так как будто находится в положении locked.
В начале использования кофе (или вода) очень сильно воняли пластиком, две недели каждый день прокачивал кипяток по несколько раз в день чтобы избавиться от запаха.

Девайс получился значительно круче чем Nanopresso. Шот эспрессо получается практически на профессиональном уровне. Единственное нужна сноровка, поиск "своего помола" и т.п.
Покупкой очень доволен.

Кофе получился неплохой, брал с собой заранее молотый дома Коста Рика Торазу. Единственно мыть надо сразу , ну зато не то что на азсках наливают. В принципе в дороге практично.

Хорошая штука, но я привык пить кофе в больших объёмах по утрам, так что будет морока. С другой стороны понадобиться только в поездках, так что потерплю ради вкуса.

- - Вместо одного термоса - надо брать кофеварку, термос с водой и пачку кофе (или капсул)
Прикольно, но не более ! Игрушка за большие деньги, через месяц займет достойное место в дальнем углу и в походе никогда не заменит простой термос!
