- + IPS матрица с красивыми сочными цветами, при этом отклик 4 мс. Честные 75 Гц без танцев с бубном. Тонкий, легкий, почти без рамки. В играх прекрасно себя показывает, если подключать через HDMI (начитался тут комментариев про шлейфы и плохую синхронизацию от людей, запускающих современные игры через аналоговый интерфейс VGA - не знаю, на что они рассчитывают). Отсутствие динамиков тоже плюс, старшая модель в линейке с динамиками и дополнительным DisplayPort -разъемом стоит на 2000 рублей дороже.
- - Тонконогая, хлипко выглядящая подставка, не такая, конечно, как у некоторых моделей LG и Asus, где экран раскачивается...

- + Монитор использую как вспомогательный, боковой. Поэтому не жду от него ничего особенного, но со своей работой он справляется прекрасно. Уже пару лет проработал, и пока не к чему придраться.

- + Хорошая сборка, относительно удобно расположены кнопки управления (не сзади, а хотя бы на нижней грани). Битых пикселей нет, 75 Hz держит, запас яркости для меня достаточный, цвета вполне приличные, глаза не устают.
- - Внешний блок питания мелкий и не выглядит особо надёжным...

Nice color once you figure out how to adjust it, see cons, and doesn't seem to be any dead pixels that I can find. Reasonably nice monitor for the price and there are a lot of low cost good monitors on the market now. Built in speakers are Okay but I am sticking to my free standing speakers for quality sound.CONS: Total lack of instructions can be a real problem if you are a beginner. There is one "Quick Start" sheet that shows a picture of all 3 video cables and speaker cable hooked up at the same time. Very misleading if you have never installed a monitor before. Picture includes an HDMI cable attached which is not included with the monitor but should be. There is nothing in the box or on the Internet that explains the 4 buttons on the side and how to use them. None of them are labeled. There is nothing to tell you how to make any adjustment for color or control sound. Like I said, if you are new to monitor instillation you are going totally in the blind on every aspect of this monitor. There is a support number to call but phone support should never be needed for a standard monitor instillation. Did I say VIewSonic has also chosen not to put a manual on the Internet either other than to tell you one is not available? Pretty sad....Other Thoughts: If this is your first time installing a monitor, DO NOT CONNECT ALL THE CABLES AS SHOWN ON THE QUICK START GUIDE. You only need one video cable and the speaker cable if you choose to use the monitors built in speakers. IF you decide to use an HDMI cable which is the better choice but not included, do not buy one at your local big box computer store including Wally World. These people treat HDMI cable like the printer manufacturers treat ink cartridges. These things are not solid gold. Check on the net and you can find the same or better quality for a lot less than the local stores.

the ViewSonic VX2439 is an outstanding monitor. I build websites wtih considerable text and important images. The ViewSonic monitor replaces a Samsung as a screen extension from a two year old iMac. Unpacking and setup are simple. I have ordered Monitor mounts, but may cancel that order since the included mount works fine in my setup, I keep the bottoms of my screens at chin level which keeps me sitting up straight. I do not experience fatigue, not even carpal tunnel. The ViewSonic allows a tip down which squares the monitor perfectly with my eyes. Non of my other monitors do this, not the Samsung, not the HannsG and certainly not the iMac. All these monitors have stands which I must alter to get them angled "down" to me. I followed the visual instructions and have never gotten to step 3, that is installinng the software ... because everything works perfectly. I can compare text on the Imac which is good to the ViewSonic which has brighter whites and clearer character definition. Even photos look better on the Viewsonic than on any of my other monitors.Hook UP from iMac goes from the mini DVD to the standard DVD to the ViewSonic for video and with the off green audio cable. But, I hope you don't need to use the speakers. They are very week, worse even than the iMac speakers. It is primitive and old-fashioned of Viewsonic to not provide quality speakers. The first company that gets this right will get all our business. I am sick and tired of having to find space for peripherals. Setting out speakers with their plugs is an unwanted clutter. Five Stars for the Monitor, not a single Star for the speakers. And shame on all the people who call this "Premium Sound". Liar Liar Pants on Fire. I am impressed with the monitor but not the company for this reason and have not developed loyalty.Yes, we all understand that quality speakers generate interference with the monitor. So, place the speakers in the base ... duh.That gets rid of the loss from making them rear facing and underpowered.

My current usage of the monitor is a PC monitor by VGA and a PS3 by HDMI.Picture: Excellent in both modes. Once the video card was adjusted for the new aspect ratio, it looked great! Nice and wide and a you see a lot of websites were made for HD. Even watching standard definition online TV on it looks good. The PS3 shines and the monitor keeps up easily. Black colors are black and light colors are crisp. Overall, I have no complaints about the video.Audio: By the product description, it's a little deceiving. It reads like the monitor has "SRS Premium Sound for crystal crisp sound". This is not true. "SRS Premium sound" is merely some audio drivers which are no better than anything you already have installed. I have Creative Soundblaster drivers and the audio is probably better with the Soundblaster drivers. The internal speakers on the monitor sound muffled and don't even sound like they are in stereo, let alone "premium". I'm pretty disappointed. I went and bought a Y-adapter so I could bypass the video card and use the speaker system I have. I didn't expect to do that.The controls on the side are easy to use once you get the hang of them, and the monitor will switch to the other signal on it's own. It also has the automatic sleep and resume functions, which are nice.So as a monitor and video only device it's a great product. I just wish they would have put some time into speakers.

The unit failed after 60 days! Or in more general terms about 18 hours of use on a secondary computer. After 30 days the seller would not touch it. You have to jump through hoops to get an RMA, they really don't push an emergency swap policy. Then you return everything and wait, and wait and wait. 4 weeks later your monitor arrives! Without documentation, software or any cables. several calls yielded poor results, out of stock on a $2.00 power cord! I told the nice gentleman during the RMA process I needed one right away and bought another 24 HDMI monitor from Samsung and Amazon direct.The advertised sound package is not that great, I plugged in the old JBL thing for best sound. Picture was not that crisp, 17" viewing range is to close. But it brings me back to the poor service. Not even the V.P. of Marketing was able to light a fire under the customer service engineers butt-ox!It all comes down to quality, reliability and service. Alas all sadly lacking at Viewsonic. Sorry for the bad review but one must be cautious buying electronics.

The monitor was beautiful. I absolutely loved the picture, and the size was perfect for me. Unfortunately, I never got to test the audio, though... the monitor suddenly shut off the day after I received it in the mail, and although it turned right back on when I pressed the power button, it did the same thing 20 minutes later and never turned on again. I left it unplugged for another 24 hours and still, it would no longer turn on.One of the brightest and prettiest displays I'd seen in a long time, and for a decent price.. but it stopped working. I returned it successfully, but they were out of stock on Amazon by the time I returned it and had to buy another monitor instead. This may have been a unique event (I had it plugged into a surge protector, so maybe the power supply was bad in the monitor and got past testing) but just a warning.

i have had this monitor for about a month now and it has been great. i have not had any problems with it. i am using it as a second monitor for my laptop for things like typing research papers and other times when i really need a dual screen. the rest of the time, i use this monitor as my primary when i have my laptop at my desk. the colors in this monitor are great, very vivid and the fact that it is 1080p is GREAT. the one thing that i have noticed is that the contrast ratio is not as great as some sets even with the full 100,000:1 dynamic set (when watching movies with dark scenes), however this is more bias figuring i am probably comparing it to the plasma tv that i have at home, so it is about right figuring this is only an LCD. i am thinking about buying viewsonic's 24" LED monitor for the same price and selling this one, but i have not decided on that and that shouldn't deter people from thinking that this is not a great product. another plus for buyers is the packaging that was used to send the monitor, it was packed very well and; amazon knows how to do it right. something else that seems like it is always forgotten is the list of stuff out of the box. this monitor comes with both the VGA and DVI cables, so no matter what you have, it should be good to go.

Use this at work, it replaced a 19 inch Dell I thought needed more brightness.I realized the video adapter of that particular computer was no good because despite buying this, the brightness isn't very good. Also we use XP which limits the output I guess so oh well, let's talk about good and not so good+ Very good design and build quality+ Easy to set up, comes with many bundled cables neatly packed and great instructions+ Speakers on monitor / quality is questionable but speakers on a monitor is a big plus+ Good response time, easy manual controls, good overall customization+ Very good value for money+ HDMI (are you kidding me, this feature is awesome, yet to try though..)I decided to get my monitor from Tiger Direct directly. I actually have nothing negative to say about this monitor, I Just hope I manage to sell the Dell for about eighty odd.

amazing picture plays games well, but I use it the most for working on large spreadsheets the 24" monitor is perfect as you can use multiple windows with amazing ease. Sound is not bad for a monitor but I have speakers. I am probably going to get a second one for work.

I bought this for more than what is the current price. The monitor was good except it had a vertical line on one side of screeen.I had to send it back to View Sonic for a replacement.They only replace it with another reject from another customer.Each of the replacement I received were defective in various ways.One will not display 1920x1080.The next one will not display white color. Everything was dark.The next one had one color blown out. Next one will not work on HDMI .etc. etc. After 6 months, I still do not have a working monitor. The price of the item has substantially gone down in local store.My recommendation is "DO NOT BUY ANYTHING VIEW SONIC"I would prefer buying something from an American company.At least they will replace a defective product with a new one.

I'll keep this short as I'm thrilled with the purchase in every way I can be so far.I was hesitant to think I needed a 24-inch monitor but after using it for about 20 minutes, I couldn't understand how I ever got along without it. This really can change the way you use your PC! I can now have several MS Office applications open and large at once without annoying click backs.This monitor has a great picture and a solid price. Totally satisfied 5 months later. I'd consider buying a second if I had the desk space as multiple monitors are good for video editing.

First off if you are using this as a tv it does NOT have a code to punch into your universal remote. Basically you will have to do by hand old-school manual method or plug it into a computer/stereo surround sound and use that. Great picture but I have yet to view anything over 720p yet. If using in an armoire you definitely will need surround sound as the sound goes out the back and will be muffled. Hard for me to judge quality of sound because of this. Maybe ok if used on a desktop. Hooks right up to a tv converter box with hdmi cable. Great overall performance so far.

This is a great monitor, for the price. However, I would not recommend it.I chose this one over the VX2450WM (same price) because it has HDMI and upgraded audio. Sadly event upgraded audio in a monitor cannot compare with the cheapest stand alone speakers. I'd recommended the VX2450WM instead. If you're not planning on using the internal speakers, DVI is then equivalent to HDMI. Plus, the VX2450WM is a LED monitor compared to an LCD. Meaning Lower power usage and better contrast ratio. Keep in mind that this monitor works perfectly. It just does not outshine the other model made by the same manufacturer.

Love this monitor. Out of the box, it wasn't quite right-- a little fuzzy. To clear things up with my PC, I had to make two adjustements (note, I'm using an NVidia graphics card-- I assume anything else will have similar changes needed):With HDMI input:1. Set the Digital Color Format to YCbCr444 In NVIDIA control panel, this setting is under Advanced Settings-->Video & Television-->Select digital color format2. Tell the monitor to use PC input from the built in menuing system: Input Select-->HDMI PCThe first step makes black look BLACK.The second step handles crispness of any fonts. I'm a computer programmer, so crisp text is pretty important.Other notes: The built in speakers are a big step up from my laptop speakers, so they are nice to have. They won't wow you, but they aren't 'tinny' sounding either.

I purchased 95 of these monitors for use in the office where I work. They were purchased in October 2010. As of March 1, 2011 we have had 11 fail in the same manner. All of them have a failure that seems to be related to the powersupply or the backlight, according to our IT department. All were purchased new. Some have failed within the first day of use others after a couple of months. They are being replaced slowly as they fail under warranty.

Bought this as a gift for my aging father, who has poor eyesight. Setup was fairly simple, though I had to do a bit of extracurricular navigation to find the proper drivers (his PC runs Windows XP). My one complaint is that changing volume on the built-in speakers requires manuevering through menus using tiny buttons which have even tinier labels - easy for me, but difficult for a sometimes cranky old man. Fortunately he appears to be fine with the volume that it's set at. I have used a string of ViewSonic monitors, and this one is at least as good as the rest in terms of image quality.

Awesome monitor. I have read hundreds of reviews on monitors, trying to pick one that is rated excellent but a budget price. This monitor had the best reviews plus all the plugs I needed and wanted. I still shopped and shopped and finally I find the best deal on Amazon. They had a sale on these just before Christmas. It was free shipping and wow, it got here in 3 days. Set it up right out of the box, turned it on and AWESOME. Love this monitor and would recommend this to everyone. Love Amazon for offering such a deal on this monitor too.I have had it a little over 1 month and it is perfect.

So I always look at the reviews for anything before I buy it, and this one had good one's so I bought it, and wow! It truly is an awesome monitor, very clear picture, insane HD Quality if you are an Xbox player, and all reasonably priced. The only complaint I have is that if u turn up you're music too loud, the screen starts to do this weird shake thing, but I think it's from the signal power. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I think if you have been looking for a while for a good monitor, you can't go wrong with this one. =)

Very good monitor with a great display. My only complaint is:When viewing darker images/scenes (like when viewing movies, etc), there is a faint blue lighting along the bottom of the monitor. I assume this is some LED backlighting bleeding through, but not sure. A minor annoyance, but keeps me from giving 5 stars.

This, without doubt, is THE best monitor I have either used or owned. The only (slightly negative) thing I can say is that the audio levels exhibit an approximate 10-20db attenuation (volume reduction) compared to a set of PC speakers. I suppose the amount of amplification is lacking a bit of oomph.No matter... I'm still using my stand-alone PC speakers with this absolutely gorgeous monitor and its marvelous picture quality.Go for it.

The last monitor I owned was a 24" Gateway--all the bells and whistles. What's sad though is that Gateway, when designing their monitors, was so caught in throwing on little flashy trinkets that they forgot to master what really matters: the picture and price. Thats why people buy monitors...not for heat sensing adjustment buttons and a bunch of extra slots beyond HDMI, DVI and VGA.Viewsonic made me smile after using this thing for a few days. Good looks, GREAT contrast ratio, supersonic response time, and picture quality (no glare like gateways chrome screen). 1 slot each for HDMI, VGA, and DVI. It also has SRS sound built in while most monitors are silent. That sums it up though; nothing else is tacked onto this monitor to jack up the price. You'll get the picture quality of a $400+ monitor for half the price...because you're only paying for what you NEED. No extra bull. Don't be scared for quality by the economy price.

Used this for wife PC and it is OK for VGA but even better when I use it for my laptop HDMI interface, then the text is clear and does not have those rainbow fringes from interpolation of the text.I use a 1280x720 resolution and can see the screen 3+ feet away but it can go to much higher resolution and still be clear when you are sitting normally.

I use this monitor with a MAC book Pro and the output is phenomenal when using the full 1920x1080 resolution. This monitor is as good as the Dell Ultra Sharpe display and at around $100 less a much better buy. It doesn't have any fancy extras (such as USB connection) but it will accept DVI, VGA and HDMI inputs. i haven't used the speakers on the monitor and do not plan to... If i want to listen to music i'll use my real speakers or Home theater system.

The Video is great just like any other 1920x1080 monitors. The SRS audio is lacking of base. I heard other non-SRS monitor speakers have better quality. The worst part is the 4 Menu push buttons on the side. The up/down keys are sticky (at least on mine). When I push up once, the menu jumped up two lines and so is the donw key. Also, the most frequently used Volume and Video-Input selections are buried in side the complicated menu screen. It takes several pushes to get to where you want. I have another Acer 24" monitor with Volume and Video-Input dedicated buttons right on the front bezel.

I hook this monitor up for Xbox 360 system, all I can say is awsome. I bought it for a gift for my Son-in-Law and his display looks as good as mine and I own a 48 Inch Plasma and a 24 inch Gateway monitor, I hook my xbox 360 up on both and prefer the monitor. My gateWay is same spec's as ViewSonic and it cost 300.00 more, the display on the ViewSonic is a little better then my GateWay.

Was not planning on getting a new monitor but got jealous when I had to order and set one up for my brother in law! Glad that I got one for myself, replaced dual input Samsung 17" monitor and it is fantastic. Can't believe the low price, got it for 179.99, it is already up to 199.99. my only complaint with amazon, if you see a low price order right away, if it is popular they raise the price on an item.

Simply put, this is a great monitor. Color is vivid, picture is clear, full HD and price is right. Its connectivity is great, having ports of hdmi, div, vga. Of note, it comes only with vga and dvi cables. But it does not matter as hdmi cable is so cheap and easy to find nowadays. The only downside is the sound. It tends to be low. But I don't rely on it that much anyway.

This 24" Viewsonic monitor is fantastic. It is very clear with fast response and nice looking. For a large 24" wide screen monitor it still fits nicely on our desk. Have not used the integrated premium sound as of yet. This is another fabulous product by Viewsonic. I highly recommend this monitor.

Used this on my Late '06 Macbook Pro as a dual monitor setup and with my xbox 360.Pro-Price-Big-Clear text-Great for editing photos due to the variations of color presentCon-When i plug the audio into my macbook pro, I get this staticy noise on the moniter speakers as someone else has mentioned in their review.-Speakers are worthless. The speakers on my macbook pro are way better-The button controls are cumbersomeOverallGreat image quality, bad speakers.

I am very pleased with this monitor. It is being used in a PC gaming computer and I have no complaints. No dead pixels. Bright colors, great refresh time without lag. I have always had good luck with Viewsonic products and this one is no exception.

This monitor is a great deal for a monitor this size and unlike other monitors, it includes HDMI inputs and speakers. The speakers, however, are very poor and lack any bass or treble adjustment. They are not much better than the internal speaker on my Mac Mini

If there is only one complaint it is the annoying glow in the upper and bottom boundaries of the screen, back-light reflection? However the picture quality is nothing short of amazing once the color mode is tuned to 9500 mode with an HDMI connection. The picture is sharp and crystal clear even with 720p content. This is a great display to go with a media player like Western Digital Live HD.
