This monitor works with my 15" laptop. I works very well, but I should purchased a larger one - diagonal measurement 22".

Failed after 40 days of ownership
This is my 3rd Viewsonic monitor and I am extremely disappointed - I was a big fan. The monitor power cable seems to be "burning out" and after replacing it 2 times, Viewsonic is now replacing the entire monitor. Unfortunately, even though it is pretty new, they will not guarantee a new unit replacement.
Update:
Changing to 4 stars since replacement is working fine and that root cause may have been a faulty surge protector.

Pricey but the quality is there
Quite pricey however this monitor has beautiful picture quality! There is no glare on the screen. Very pleased with the purchase.

Fantastic Display
This is my 4th purchase of this display. I've got 3 on a monitor stand in the office and one at home. The picture is sharp and clear and I love the super thin bezels. The speakers are pretty tinny, but fact that it has speakers wasn't a motivation in my purchase.

Great monitor, terrible audio
The monitor is bright, crisp, and beautiful. The looks are great, but the audio is terrible. No problem though because you can just use the audio on your laptop if you're using that kind of set up. Otherwise you'll want external speakers of some kind because it's really bad.

I needed an extra screen for working from home. I have been using View Sonic for over a dozen years and like the quality of the picture. Perfect for me.

Better than what's spec'd
Got this monitor to use as a second monitor and I'm actually pretty surprised with it for it's price range. It's actually a 75hz monitor and has freesync.
It's IPS so viewing angles and colors are excellent.

Died after a few months
Purchased the monitor and it died within a few months of use. To claim warranty, you have to pay for all shipping expenses. I don't recommend this monitor.

Great Bang for the Buck !!!
With the Covid Pandemic I had to get my team members all over the country setup with a home office and these are a great monitor for the dollars.

Gorgeous monitor! Sound & controls are decent but not great.
First, some context: I'm using this primarily as a TV for streaming shows and playing video games. I've hooked it up to my Macbook Air, NES Classic, and Xbox 360.
Overall I'm quite happy with it! Full pros and cons listed below.
Pros:
- Image quality is amazing, and you have options to tweak it beyond contrast and brightness.
- Blue light filter is an option (HUGE benefit for me personally as I get headaches looking at a screen without that warm orange glow once the sun has set) and it's adjustable so you can change the percentage as you like.
- Very easy to set up
- Edges around the screen are very minimal and the stand that comes with it is quite minimal as well. They don't distract from the image and I love the look of the thin edges.
- Comes with four holes in the back to mount it which I think I may do at some point soon.
- Has speakers built in on the back, which is unusual for a monitor in my experience but a nice feature to have, even if the sound quality and volume aren't incredible.
- Has multiple options for display hook-ups.
- Has an audio port so you can connected it to an external speaker.
- Saves your settings after you switch it off, which is especially handy for volume and blue light filter in my case. I would be fairly annoyed if I had to adjust those every time I turned the monitor on!
- It automatically goes into sleep mode if you disconnect whatever was running - so when I turn of the xbox 360 it goes to sleep since nothing else is hooked up. You can also have it auto-sleep after a certain amount of time, among other energy-saving settings.
Cons:
- Only way to adjust the volume is on the monitor itself or if using an Xbox, in the individual games settings. I wasn't able to adjust the audio on a bluetooth speaker. This meant that when watching Amazon Prime video which is notoriously quiet, we had to sit with our faces practically on the screen to hear what anyone was saying. (Yes, the subtitles were also on and a hideous yellow that was very distracting. Thanks Prime video....)
This isn't a huge issue if you're not using the monitor as a TV, but it's worth considering if you plan on using it like I am.
- It's a little small for a TV, particularly with video games with small targets or other things you need to pay attention to. Not that big of a deal for watching shows.
- I found it just about impossible to get my Macbook Air (connected through the VGA port with a converter) to display the right screen ratio unless I let it add black bars around the entire picture for most things. Spent at least an hour trying to fix this and never managed to find a way to make it work.
- The controls on the monitor can be a bit of a pain as others mentioned, but I got used to them fairly quickly. They have little nubs on each button so you can tell when you're moving from one to another and you don't really need to look at them because the screen shows which buttons are aligned with what commands.

Excellent Brand, Excellent Monitor
Since the late 1980's when I was building AutoCad machines, View Sonic was one of the top monitor brands. All these years later, it is still a top brand, but much less expensive. It's only three inches, but a 27" monitor beats the heck out of a 24" monitor for day-to-day work. This is full HD (1920 x 1080. There are monitors with higher resolution but this works just fine. There are ample ports on the back, although I guess monitors still need VGA ports, I would prefer more than one HDMI. The monitor is bezel-less on three sides, and the monitor may be viewed at an angle for those folks at work how gather around your monitor to see what brilliant idea has just sprung into your head. This is an excellent monitor, and the stereo speakers are pretty good, too. Highly recommended.

ViewSonic VA2756-MHD
I have several ViewSonic monitors and have always been pleased with their performance. This one is no exception. Full HD 1080p, HDMI, VGA and Display Port connectivity makes for universal connectivity. Super thin, frameless design looks great while providing a smaller frame overall. Great clarity and brightness under task lighting as well as overhead fluorescent . Monitor has a few built in presets that adjust various color settings, brightness and contrast at the push of a button. These are great app purpose monitors at an attractive price point. ViewSonic has never disappointed me.

Good panel, bad stand
I like the panel in this monitor a lot. It's crisp and bright. That's the best feature by far. The stand that comes with the monitor is mediocre and shaky. If you're going to be using a VESA mount that won't be an issue. I used the HDMI port on this monitor to connect to a Raspberry Pi that is driving a MagicMirror2 (weather, news, and calendar reporting). For that purpose, the monitor works extremely well.
The sound output is mediocre. If you want to listen to music or use the monitor for gaming, streaming shows, etc. plan on getting something else to drive audio output.

Great monitor
We already have this exact same monitor, and decided to expand to a 2-screen set up. We have been so pleased with the performance of the first one, we got the exact same model.
This is the 4th ViewSonic monitor we have owned - 2 of the 27", a 24" and a 32". I have been very pleased with all of them. Easy to set up, good clarity for spreadsheets, last for years.
Bottom line - ViewSonic has been a reliable product for me, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Great for solo or multi monitor displays
Added this monitor to my display system for my home office. I have it next to a Viewsonic VX2758-C-MH. I'm using Windows 10 OS and they work great. It is very easy to set up the displays in the Display settings in Windows 10.
The resolution is crisp and clear and the refresh rate is excellent.

Well priced for such a large, bright monitor with built in speakers.
Love the size and how bright and vivid the colors are on this monitor. There's a lot of great computer monitors out there, but finding a really nice one at a low price is the trick. And I had no idea it had speakers build in when I ordered it. That was a nice surprise too. Great price for such a nice, large monitor!

Near daily use for a year with no issues.
My son's old monitor died, so he set this one up. He's been using it for a year with no problems whatsoever. He uses it for schoolwork, watching movies and gaming and has never had a complaint. Picture seems crisp and colors are vibrant.

Great image quality
Wide range of connectivity. I really like the frameless feature. Picture quality is excellent. No lag or ghosting. Colors are vibrant. Integral speakers sound surprisingly good. Very clear. And a 3 year warranty! What else do you want from a computer monitor in this price range?
