Best wipers my 99 4Runner have ever seen!

Installation took all of 3 minutes and was super easy. It probably took longer to extract the blades from the blister packs than it took to unhook my old blades and snap these in. Very straight forward. No adjusting/tweaking/etc to do.

I live in Seattle and have been driving through some pretty serious downpours over the course of the last 2 weeks. Zero streaking. No wierd sounds. Has the same or slightly better coverage than OEM blades. I also use Rain-X 2-in-1 De-icer/bug remover windshield wiper fluid. Wish I had started on this combo years ago.

Wish I could get one of these for the rear window. The blades are sold individually so remember you need 2!

Only time will tell how long they last. I'd be happy to get 10-12 months out of them and buy a new pair next year.

Not great in snow

These wipers have a rubber 'spoiler' on the back that I'm sure is designed to push down against the windshield with wind. the issue is that it also effectively functions as a shovel for snow and ice. These wipers 'freeze' up much faster than the cheaper pair i had on the truck. It's pretty bad in wintery conditions. When there's no snow they are pretty good at clearing the windshield. The passengers' side wiper does leave the windshield at the bottom of the rotation about 2 inches before the end of the wiper, presumably due to the curve of the windshield. I've had others in the past that did that, so it's not uncommon, but I was hopeful these would do better.
For rainy conditions, they've performed very well. I'll keep these in mind as a summer time wiper, but they've gotta come off before it gets too cold.

The wipers are OEM quality very well-made the only problem is when they sell them on Amazon they only sell them one at a time not in a pair. That was the only issue other than that Great wipers.

No mention of driver/passenger wipers

I received two blades and both fit the passenger side only because of a small plastic extension ( a point) on the locking unit. Either the one blade was manufactured wrong or not enough info was provided on the product description. Was the blades specific to location on the windshield?

One of the best wipers on the market!

If you research and read reviews, and you care about how your stuff works, then this wiper is for you. If you don't then go spend $5 on a crappy Anco. This wiper fit perfect and installed in about 2 seconds (flip up "door", put insert into hook, put onto pin, close "door"...done). It cleans streak-free, it's quiet, it doesn't "lift" in wind and/or at highway speed. I haven't had it in winter yet, but this isn't my first Valeo, so I'm expecting good performance there too! If you're not buying this, I've also had similarly great experience with Bosch Aerotwin and ICON. Avoid the Michelin (not made by Michelin; a lic'd product from Pylon), Anco, Trico, etc. I've not used the Rain-x blades, so I cannot compare. I purchased this with the 26" version so don't be surprised to see this copy/pasted review there.

Valeo Wipers - Pretty Darn Good - Just One Complaint

I ordered this wiper (and a smaller one) for my 2003 Acura TL-S. I was a little leary since I seem to find conflicting reports on wipers everywhere. These wipers were replacing my previous Winter Blades of a different brand. These have only been on for a month or so now. I have to say these do a great job of cleaning the windshield. I have used them in rain, sleet, and snow so far and they are pretty good.

The only complaint I have is that they don't curve to the windshield. They work great where they hit the windshield but the last 2 inches of the passenger windshield wiper doesn't hit the glass. So while this one wiper is really good the other is only pretty good.

I would recommend this wiper to anyone who is looking for a decent wiper and is willing to pay just a little more.

The only wiper that works on my 2007 Suburban

Ever since my original Chevrolet Suburban wipers died after 4 years of use, I have been searching for a wiper blade that actually works well in my car. I tried countless different “matching” wipers (Amazon has close to 100), some of which were quite expensive. None worked well, stuttering and streaking from day one. None of them lasted even a year. Lately I discovered that Valeo 900-22-7B is the OEM wiper blade that came with the car. I bought it on Amazon, and yes, it works! This wiper has a lower profile than all other wipers that I tried, and it simply hugs the windshield. It works perfectly!
This review was written after 3 months of rainy season use. You often read in 1-star reviews that the writer wishes Amazon would allow 0 starts. As far as I'm concerned, this product deserves 10.

A deal at as much as 10 bucks here. Local wiper blades at outrageous prices. Brick and mortar doing themselves in on pricing.

Better than original wipers for 2004 Toyota Camyre SE?

I'm not sure if these are better than the original blades because the originals lasted about 2 yrs here in Southern California. We don't get much rain and no snow. What we do have is lots of sun. It has been 115 degrees, for weeks at a time, where I live. I've changed the blades on my Camry 4 times in 8 years. After the originals I went with RainX blades. They all averaged about 2 yrs each.

In the meantime I bought a 2007 GMC SUV. The original blades are these Valeo blades (a different size-22"). They lasted 5 yrs with streak free, quiet operation. Since they worked so well on the truck I installed them on my Camry. They work well so far. Only time will tell if I will get 2 yrs or 5 yrs.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is, the price. What happened to $5 wiper blades!?!

Great wiper blades. Wish they were cheaper.

Needed to replace my OEM wipers on my 2007 Audi Q7 after 8 years. Didn't want to pay for OEM wipers at the dealership even with the 15% mailer coupons my local dealership sends me. Bought these for my front windshield (you need to buy two and will fit both driver & passenger sides). They're not cheap by any standards but welcome to the world of German luxury automobile parts. Great wipers and ridiculously easy to install. Even a tech guy (me) who sits in front of a computer all day can replace both wipers in under 5 minutes. Have had the wipers for about a year now in drought stricken California but they work like a champ when it does rain. Highly recommend. I just wish these things were cheaper.

Streaks ater a few weeks.......

When I received the set I purchased and one didn't even have the "guts" inside needed to attach it to the car I should have returned them instead of getting a replacement.

These are terrible wipers. 2-3 weeks after I started using them they began streaking. They just seem to be getting worse and worse. Decided to Rain-x my windshield thinking it may help. At this point I am better off not using the wipers and letting the water run off thanks to the rain-x.

not great but not horrible.

good wiper blades. i live in southern california so i don't go through wiper blades that often. fortunately for me, i installed these a couple of days before a "storm" (light rain?).

unfortunately, however, one of the wipers does not wipe adequately. it leaves a pretty broad strip of rain water in the middle of my screen, as if it's not sitting well or getting enough pressure against the windshield. i switched the wipers between sides and the problem persisted on the opposite side this time so it could not have been a wiper arm issue or a windshield issue.

price was good and this was a minor inconvenience so i'll try again and see if there's a different result.

passenger side works fine, driver's side leaves a 3 inch streak near the middle

These blades work ok but for some reason there is a 3" wide streak that doesn't get cleaned off on the driver's side at about the middle of the wiper blade. Not sure why this happens - but it's not driving related. The streak has been there since I first installed the blades and it remains no matter the speed of the car or the amount of rain.

Worth Every Penny

Great wipers and much cheaper than having a dealer or auto mechanic put them on. My husband graciously mounted the wipers on my BMW 328 but it was easy enough that I could have done it myself. Had never realized the wipers on my car are different lengths until I measured to order this set. These wipers hug the windshield well enough to swipe the rain completely off and make visibility excellent. So far, they doing a great job with snow as well. The wipers are operating silently with none of the annoying sticky sound that some wipers emit when the window is partially dry. These are worth the price. Don't know about longevity but so far - so good.

Excellent wiper for a good price

Excellent wiper for a good price. The quality of this wiper is high and the price to value ratio is great! I've bought this brand a few times for several of my family's vehicles and they've also been consistent in quality. The one piece blade design is better than the metal bracket type in that it provides consistent pressure across the length of the blade. The fin edge on the top side of the wiper is excellent during highway driving since it forces the wiper to stay against the windshield and results in better wiping at higher speeds.
I recommend this wiper.

Fits my Mercedes

Perfectly fits my 2004 Mercedes-Benz C240 4matic. I believe it should fit all the W203 Chassis. This is the only wiper I could find the proper Top lock Gen 1. It is a slide lock where the V wedge from the wiper arms sits in the notch and slide locks closed. The wiping function are thorough and absolutely quiet in all positions. Picture on the left are old blades, the right side is the new Valeo blade.

Long time coming but WOW...

Where have these been in the past? These wipers really need great reviews because they belong in an exclusive class far and above all others. They look deceivingly fragile and simple but the truth is they are designed for one task where they excel. They should be called Gliders not Wipers for they remove snow, debris and water without a sound and amazingly remain in contact with the glass throughout their paths.
They have remained in good condition for me far longer than others. I do like the fact their ultra low profile makes no wind noise at speeds plus they look very sleek.
In short they are worth the extra cost many times over. Give these a try, you will never go back!

So Quiet you think a ninja came and cleaned your windshield

Stealthy quiet wipers no chatter or streaks. Cleans so well that with every swipe the windshield looks brand new. Also cleans and wipes so well that the sides of your car will be extremely dirty because of all the gunk and grime it will be wiping away that ends up sticking to your car. Handles snow , downpouring rain with ease. Best wipers yet! This was for an Audi A6 C6. Better than OEM and Bosch Icons.

No Better Than Summer Blades

I purchased the Valeo summer blades for my 10 year old Avalon and was impressed with their performance. Even with an old sandblasted and chipped windshield, the blades cleared the glass and left it streak-free even in the heaviest rains. Because of the favorable three-season experience, I decided to make the switch from the Anco winter blades I have been using for years and purchase the all-season Valeos for use in the winter.

I found the performance of the all-season blades to be comparable to the summer blades in the rain but they performed poorly in the ice and snow. The blades tended to accumulate and hold ice rather than shed it. This in turn affected the blade's ability to clear the glass. The problem seems to be in the design. Whereas the Anco blade is sheathed in a smooth outer covering which helps prevent snow and ice from sticking, the Valeo has no such outer covering. In fact, due to it's ribbed profile, it actually encourages the accumulation of snow and ice.

In my opinion, this is a fine three season blade, but is not suitable for use as a four season blade in northern climates. I will continue to use the Valeo summer blades but I would not recommend the all-season blades. I'll be switching back to Anco next winter.

longest lasting windshield wipers I've ever owned

I have had these on my 2012 Silverado in Houston since November 2016. These are the longest lasting wipers I've ever owned. Its finally time to replace them. Not because they are streaking but because I noticed a 1" tear on 1 of them which would cause me to fail inspection. Highly recommend these wipers

The ultimate wipe for clearly seeing the light that is right before your eyes...

It was with GREAT anticipation that I waited for my opportunity to acquire my Valeo Frameless ULTIMATE All-Season 22" Wiper. The stories of prowess shared by my fore-fathers were legendary. My mother spoke of Valeo, himself, as the master of all wipers and was clearly the most superior at removing debris from surfaces.

In driving through my neighborhood, I saw the drone lifting off from my neighbor's front yard. Upon closer look, I saw a glow of light from the sky shining down on the box. It was as though the heavens were shining down on the very cardboard box containing my 22" wiper. As I reached the front porch, I quickly realized the wiper must be inside. (Of course, I realized this after I put the box in my car and drove directly home and into my garage, where I ripped open the box with my bare hands.)

I have acquired many smiley face boxes in a similar manner, but this one was the box of all boxes. Upon opening the box, the 22" wiper instantly flew from the opening and began rubbing across my car. The rust bubbles and mud disappeard, then i noticed the paint shined like new. I have no idea how it worked that magic, but it was as though Frosty the Snowman, himself, was behind it. I thought 22" wipers were only for glass windsheilds, but this 22" one... this ULTIMATE All-Season Valeo 22" wiper was not only 'All-Season,' but it was also 'All-Car' and 'All Miracle!"

As it glided across the paint, scratches vanished. Across the chrome, all pitting removed. I was astonished to see rubber actually re-appear on the tire tread as it gently stroked across it. By the time the wiper finished, my car not only looked new again, it was a completely different color.

I assure you that if you buy this wiper, and use it on your car, you will be more than thrilled.

WARNING: Use on your wife at your own risk. After seeing how it made my car look new, I could not help but wonder if it could do the same for my wife. After using it on my wife, (just a light touch), she was transformed to the beautiful woman I married all those years ago. Her body was all firm and tight with skin as beautiful and smooth as a baby's skin. Unfornately, she took one look in the mirror and instantly left me for my neighbor who had ordered the 24" wiper. I never realized she would leave me just to get a man who had 2 more inches.

UPDATE 2017-05-24 - The effects of these wipers have not changed. Everything is as it was 2 years ago, EXCEPT... After 2 years, my neighbor tried to return my wife to me. Evidently, in her younger years, she just talked way too much. I was happy for about 15 minutes, then I used the wiper again on her mouth and amazingly enough... It wiped away all of my faults and she adores me again. Thank you Valeo for bringing so much joy to my life!!

Far less quality than they used to be many years ago, look for some other brand

When Valeo first came out with this style of wiper blades back 15 to 20 years ago, it was about $80-90 a pair. Crazy expensive, made in France and they were unbelievable and worked just perfect with no noise, no skid, no problems and last at least 3 years with proper routine cleaning. Now the prices are much lower and the quality went with it to a much lower level. More people can afford to buy them but yet they have to buy them more often as they don't last. Sometime the older things are better built, last longer and have much higher quality, these blades are disappointing to say the least.

Fits Audi A8L 2004

Replacement for my showtime 2004 Audi A8L wiper blades. Work and fit perfectly. This vehicle has a unique attachment system for wiper blades and replacements are not usually available at Big Box stores. Audi charges too much for OEM's. These are perfect, but be sure you go on-line and get the installation instructions if you don't have access to a manual.

Really Works Well

I had some reservations before buying and subsequently installing this set of blades; however, after all the rain we have had in the past few days I am delighted about buying them. As above, they work well and git 'er dun. No noise from rattling. No smearing from poor wipes. Just plain clean windows from almost hurricane conditions to almost not needing them. You cannot help but get that feeling that you made a wise purchase. Now we will test the blades for ability to withstand the elements more than just the first few days of use. The previous set of OEM blades lasted 8 years and still have a bunch of life left but are just beginning to show wear. I hope these last at least half the time. We'll see. If not, expect a different story.

Didn't quite fit

2008 TSX. Amazon and the Valeo site listed it would fit, but it doesn't really. The driver-side blade fit perfectly, but this smaller passenger one didn't quite line up. The side pointing towards the windshield edge was longer and so I had to somewhat force the blade in place along the outside window lining, and it still rubs against it. The blade going toward the center was a bit shorter and it caused the blade to miss a small spot on my windshield (causing a little water triangle to form in the center). I thought maybe I could flip it, though I don't think I can because of the latch, etc. If anyone knows if it's possible to flip, I'll be glad to change the rating b/c the parts that are wiped are perfectly fine.

2008 Audi A4 Sedan... IT FIT!

Thank goodness, it actually fit!!!!! I purchased the Trico initially, but they didn't fit the style of arm that the Audi had. universal mount, HA, wrong. Amazon fit tool... wrong. This one was actually correct for my Audi.

These took less than a minute to replace, each, and seem to work great as I haven't had many rainy days to test out yet.

If you are getting sizes, 2 22" blades will do the trick. If you go larger, make sure that the other side shrinks. You should be able to do a 24" and a 20", but I didn't want to go away from what was stock on my car.

Wipers are great, work incredibly well

Wipers are great, work incredibly well. I tend to like Valeo wipers as one of the better ones on the market (if you can find them for your vehicle). I would have posted a 5, but there was a problem with the pair I bought. I bought 900248B and 900218B. Both are listed to fit my 2014 Chevy traverse on Amazon and the Valeo's website. Unfortunately, the wipers were manufactured with slightly different attachment clips and the 900218B wouldn't fit my passenger side.

I contacted Valeo and they still haven't responded 2 weeks later. I ended up removing a little plastic on the clip of the 900218B with my dremel and got it to fit. Luckily it was just extra plastic. I think this was a manufacturing problem. (this same review is going on the other size with the wrong clip with a 3 start rating.)

otherwise, wipers work great.

Nice and quiet

Nice and quiet, however, a pain to install as the attachment that snaps into the J-Hook on your car wipers is detachable.
Therefore, you must hold and insert just right or it will keep falling off.
Once attached to wiper arms you are all set to go.
I like that they have a CAP COVER as Bosch stopped putting cap-covers on some of their models which makes the wiper look cheap!
I switched from Bosch as their products have become inferior like most things these days.
Hope these will last at least 1 year as I garage my car so not exposed to the elements much!

I've now used both the Valeo and the Bosch Evolution wipers to the extent of their usable service life on both my 4Runner and the wife's Matrix. I can tell you that the Bosch last longer, clean better and streak less. My biggest gripe with the Valeos is the streaking. I find myself frequently having to take a towel and wipe down their length to remove build up, whereas the Bosch seems to do a better job of shedding debris on their own. No wiper is perfect, and both the Valeo and Bosch are far better than stock or Anco blades, but the Bosch is simply better in my experience. And usually sell for less depending on Amazon's constant pricing fluctuations.

Not for Winter weather, although great for rain.

I only give these 2 stars because they are labeled all season, however are terrible for northern US winters. The problem is that snow and ice easily build up on this and stick to the wipers. once this happens and it will if you are driving in sub 32 degree weather then they become in-effective. When it is just water or a light wet snow on the windshield they work amazing, and running my windshield washer fluid they really wipe the salt off the windshield well. However the fact that ice builds up on these so easily makes them not a good winter wiper. I would not buy these unless i lived in the lower half of the states.

Valeo 900-22-7B Wiper Blades

I bought these for a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. They fit perfectly. In fact, they look like the original wiper blades. I noticed that the passenger side blade doesn't lay completely falt on the window for the last 1/2 inch. I will update this review after the first rainstorm if they do not perform well.

The 2007 Chevy Tahoe takes two identical 22 inch blades. Note that the back window is a 12 inch blade.

Installation was simple. It takes longer to take the blade out of the box than it does to install it. To remove the existing blades, simply press in the two side clips and pull the bottom of the blade up towards the ceiling. Install the new blade in the reverse.

These wiper blade look and feel like excellent quality. They installed very easily. I was looking forward to the first rain to try them out. However, the first use was less than satisfying. They wipers chattered and groaned horribly. It was so irritating that I took my chances with low visibility just to keep from hearing the terrible noise. Seems that from the reviews I may have got a lemon but wouldn't you know, the window for returns has closed. I would not recommend these to anyone.

bought 2 different sizes of the valeo frameless ultimate wipers. after driving a couple of days both of the latch caps that prevent the wiper from coming off had popped open. after closing them they continued to open. i found that a mild downward press on the wiper would cause the latch to pop open. i contacted valeo via their web page a received the message "Thank you for contacting us! We will be in contact with you shortly.", but that was a week ago & i never heard back. find yourself a vendor that supports their product.

Doesn't fit 2013 smart car fortwo BUT...(must read)

I have a 2013 smart fortwo electric. These (Valeo 9002110B 21") are incompatible with the passenger side wiper arm which they are intended for. I also purchased the driver side wipers (Valeo 900238B 23") and they are compatible (have proper fitting) with the drivers side wiper arm. Comparing the two boxes I noticed two different descriptions over the large word 'ULTIMATE'. On the passenger's side box (9002110B 21") it reads "Top-Lock Push Button Connection". On the driver's side (900238B 23") box it reads "Top-Lock Connection". So if you have a smart car, heads up.

Great experience and excellent product!

I am very pleased with my purchase. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size (I ordered two 24'' blades to replace my front windshield wiper blades, but I actually needed one 24'' blade and one 18'' blade). However, I could not be more pleased with the return process - they refunded my order and I didn't have to ship the product back, which is something I have never experienced before! I have already ordered the "right" size for my second wiper blade (18'') and I am pleased with the 24'' blade that I already have. I am very impressed with the product AND the service.

these wiper blades have been working great for me this past summer

A word to 2008-2012 Honda Accord sedan owners: These will not fit unless you remove the covers on your car's wiper arms. If you don't remove the covers, these Valeo wiper blades will not click shut.

Aside from that little bit of advice, these wiper blades have been working great for me this past summer. I have had these installed since April 2016 and it's not October 2016. I hope these last for a while.

Look fine and work great!

Bought these wipers while Amazon had them on sale last month. Installation was a breeze, took less than 2 minutes to get them in place. I've been using the wipers for a few weeks now as my area gets into its rainy season. At all driving speeds and levels of precipitation, the wipers are smooth, quiet, and clear away water perfectly. As long as they keep working this well in the future, I'll continue to buy this brand and model.

Just make sure you identify the correct size for your vehicle before purchasing.

Long lasting, I'm happy.

So far these have been great!
I was sick of having to purchase new wipers every couple months, found some great reviews on these on TireRack, purchased a set mid last year and they're still going strong. Bought this one for another car since the others have been so good.
As far as how well they do their job, seem about the same as any other wiper.

Great replacement wipers.

This is my second set of wipers for my daily driver. The last set I bought was a different brand and they started squeaking and streaking within 3 months. I have now had these on the car for more than 3 months and they are still perfectly quiet. I will stick with this brand.
